[YEA] 06/23/2009: Debbie from Keystone Heights, FL writes: "I was at my wits ends. I contacted the staph infection, it seems, from being in the Atlantic Ocean. It was the middle of April when we were at the ocean, but it was the end of April when I had the first out break. A boil on my behind. I had never had anything like this before and wasn't sure what it was. We (my husband and two boys, 14 and 7) were camping when it started to come up. It got the size of a baseball before my husband lanced it for me. By this time I was running a fever, body and joint aches and just felt like crap! We made it back home and to my doctor, who gave me an antibiotic. No testing or anything like that. Just gave me the anitibiotic! The next day, I pulled out this hard lump that I have now found out is like a core or something. I can not describe how much better I felt after that and it was almost instantly! Well, that was the end of April and since then I have had 3 reaccurances and as of yesterday, when I found this web-site, I was working on 6 boils! I was depressed and scared. I went to another doctor when the second boil appeared, who tested me for Mersa. I don't have it, but they still didn't want to give me another antibiotic. They want my body to fight this! I thought I was going to have to live with this for the rest of my life. I'm a very active 45 year old. I was so afraid I would not beable to enjoy the things, like swimming with my boys that I use to enjoy. Then I found this website and read ALL of the testimonies and finally felt like I was not alone! I immediately called my husband and asked him to pick up so turmeric from the grocery store on the way home. I put 1 teaspoon in a cup of warm water. I added a little chicken seasoning for taste. That was at 8 pm. I did it again at 10pm. Drinking a lot of water afterwards! This morning, the only active, painful boil of the six is the largest, but it too is smaller in size. My husband said they are going away. I can not tell you how relieved I am to think that maybe I have found something that will take this away from me. Just felling like there is hope again is a wonderful feeling. I do have questions if anyone can answer them for me? How do some of us get this while others don't. There were alot of us in the ocean that day, including my boys. My 7 year old asked me why he didn't get it. I know this is contagious, but how?
Again thank you for posting this website and I hope and pray that everyone who is dealing with this horrible disease finds this site!
Debbie"
06/25/2009: Debbie from Keystone Heights, FL replies: "It's me again! It has been three days since I started the Turmuric treatment, 3 to 4 x's a day. The largest of the six boils started to drain yesterday. This morning 4 of the 6 are GONE! one of the small ones is still present, but not as painful and the largest one is almost completely gone. I don't have the body aches that I was experiencing even yesterday. And my glands in my groin are not swollen or tender. THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!
I have been on line now and making notes for kidney stones, my husband suffers from, vericous veins my mother suffers from, and OP! This is the most incredible web-site I have ever seen!"

[YEA] 06/14/2009: Nizumi from Montreal, QC writes: "I also have trouble getting past the earthy taste of turmeric. The "tea" recipe was OK, but I couldn't see myself following through 3x a day with it. The turmeric and water? No thank you!
So - turmeric broth it is. Same measurements - 1 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp ginger - add a pinch of black pepper and a tsp of powdered broth - and presto! Soup! AND it's easy to take in to work and have at lunch. Just a few dry spices and dry broth. I also found it more discreet. People will ask what the heck you're drinking when it's bright yellow and doesn't look like any tea they've ever seen. Broth, on the other hand, raises no questions at all. :-)
I only found out about turmeric day the day before yesterday. Four cups of T-broth later and the deep deep DEEP boil I've had for months has already eased and reduced slightly in size. If this progress keeps up, it should be gone in a few more days."
06/15/2009: Christine M. from San Pedro, CA replies: "look into staph & candida...............had lots of boils in my time............took care of candida, it surrounds & protects staph, makes it really hard to kill............vitamin A is a natural anti-biotic............there r others....."

12/17/2009: Ren from Bateau Bay, New Southwhales, Australia replies: "Hi, I have been doing indepth research into tumeric, it appears that it is the curcumin which is extracted from the tumeric root that does most of the potent healing. Best taken with oil - curcumin clings onto the oil & gets through the stomach acids (taken as a capsule with water or juice you would only be receiving 2 to 3 percent effectiveness. Search curcumin and psoriasis or curcumin and alzheimers to get some amazing data on curcumin. Hopefully it's bye bye to your boils & underlying causes of your condition, regards, REN."

[NAY] 06/12/2009: Pippi from Boise, ID writes: "I'm totally frustrated, as Turmeric does not seem to be helping. I was hopeful, but I've been taking the powder, 1 teaspoon, 2x per day, and I'm still dealing with one major boil, and several smaller ones, with new ones cropping up. For a long time I've been thinking it must be my immune system (i've been dealing with near constant boils for 20 months now...), but I was thinking about it today, and realized that in those 20 months I haven't had a single cold, flu, or even a sinus infection. You'd think if my immune system was not functioning properly, I would have had some other type of flu or virus over the near 2 year span. I'm so confused. (went to the ER with the first one...allergic reaction to first antibiotic, and then had Keflex but neither did anything. The first abscess finally cleared on it's own). Next I'll try sunlight therapy and another fast (i did an 11 day fast 2 months ago, began seeing a lot of success with that, but then my dad died suddenly, and since then it seems boils are ravaging my body from the waist down. I currently have about 12 of them). I've stopped the Turmeric today because it's having no effect (except to upset my stomach, a lot), and am trying to up my vitamin C intake to 5000mg per day, but currently I'm taking about 3000mg. Also, taking 2 teaspoons of Manuka Honey per day. Will add A and E, as well. And Omega-3."
06/13/2009: Sara from Hamilton, Ontario replies: "my cousin is the same. boils unresponsive to anything, she finally tried botox injections and they are responding to this, she is riddled with them during stress and apparently she is allergic to her own sweat. anyway the botox is helping her."
06/13/2009: Nonni from Cleveland, OH replies: "Pippi, Silicea is a homeopathic cell salt that is good for boils, as it is a cleanser. I suggested this to a friend and it worked very well for her. She took it in the 6x potency."
06/14/2009: Joyce from Jocelton, Tn replies: "Hi Pippi,
Hope you remembered that turmeric is oil soluble, but not water soluble. If not, this may be why it isn't working on your boils. You can mix it in coconut oil or half & half milk or cream, or some seem to be mixing it in coconut milk."
07/20/2009: icybluedge from Columbus, Ohio replies: "I started using turmeric about a month ago, both topically and internally with pretty good results. So I started researching this more and tumeric has curcumin in it. While I am no doctor, it may be that the curcumin is what is actually helping alot of these persons. Before you give up on the turmeric I would do some more research. There are a lot of curcumin products now being developed with better bio availability and it may be that you need a stronger form of the curcumin and or higher dose of the turmeric. I started at about 500 mg to 1000mg of turmeric (extract) and am going up to 2000mg per day. There are many papers and studies on the Internet that indicate this higher dosage. I would do some more research if I were you before you give up on it. Apart from the boil issues it has a wide variety of other very good effects---one of the best herbal remedies I have used."
09/04/2009: Claudia from York, Pa replies: "Hi Pippi,Wow. My heart goes out to you. While I don't have personal experience with multiple boils, I have had my share of single boils, throughout the years.
I agree with Joyce, that mixing the Turmeric with oil is important, since it is oil soluble. Also, check out the Earth Clinic section on "Oil Pulling".
While reading your story, a few of things came to mind:
*** I have learned, on this site, that bacteria, viruses, etc. thrive in an acidic environment, and cannot survive an alkaline environment. You might want to try cleansing the skin around each boil, with a cotton ball soaked in, 1 tsp aluminum free baking soda in 8 oz. filtered water. This will create an alkaline area around the boil, and will not allow the bacteria to live on the skin.*** Along those lines, you should also make sure that your body is a neutral pH. This means that your urine and saliva test at optimal 7.0 pH. To obtain that pH, take a look at the Earth Clinic section on "Baking Soda Feedback". One of the posts near the top of the page says, " 04/27/2007: Linda from Denver, Colorado writes: "For me and my family and friends, baking soda has cured all kinds of microbial infections, probably due to the regulation of pH balance."
*** Check out the section, in the Earth Clinic section on "Hydrogen Peroxide". For most of us our bodies do not function, at an optimal level, due to a lack of oxygen. While it is a bit controversial, there are proponents (myself included), of supplementing our oxygen with food grade hydrogen peroxide. Check out the Earth Clinic section on hydrogen peroxide, and then you might want to check out this link: http://educate-yourself.org/cancer/benefitsofhydrogenperozide17jul03.shtml There are many who also believe that by increasing your body's oxygen levels, you are less susceptible to infection, and also able to fight localized infections.
I hope this helps.
Claudia"
09/05/2009: Rosebud from Hyderabad, India replies: "To Pippi from Boise, ID
I have had 6 to 7 boils in the last 6 months. The most recent one disappeared within 3 days. I applied turmeric powder mixed with coconut oil to the boil. Taking turmeric internally disn't help me too... so I just applied the turmeric paste (mixed with coconut oil) to the boil and bandaged it. It was gone in 3 days... but the mark was there. Aloe Vera gel helped to reduce the mark left over by the boil."

[YEA] 06/05/2009: Ali from Sydney, Australia writes: "I had a very painful boil under my armpit and tried using the very old turmeric from my pantry without luck and so ended up on two rounds of antibiotics. A month later a boil appeared under my other armpit. This time I bought organic tumeric and applied it as a thick paste mixed with paw paw ointment to a bandage overnight. The boil which hadn't come to a head drained in the night and the boil healed. I also chugged a bottle of colloidal silver over the same 12 hours."
06/11/2009: Karin from Kalkaska, Michigan replies: "I have had trouble with boils all my life. Today I just found this website went right to the store and I am drinking the turmarek as I am writing this. I have 3 boils right now and one is so sore I cannot stand it. I will let everyone know how this works in a few days. One of the boils will not come to a head and it just keeps getting sorer and sorer. I do not want to go to the doctor. I put about 1 1/2 teaspoon in a glass of tea. We will see."

[YEA] 05/29/2009: Bluebelle816 from Los Angeles, CA writes: "I was diagnosed with MRSA in January of this year when I had an infection in my nose and a boil in my armpit. Both of those infections were very painful, and took a very long time to heal. On May 26, 2009 I felt the beginning of a boil forming in my armpit again. I was so distressed that I couldn't think about anything else for a day (I was great company on Memorial Day.) Later that evening I found this website, and immediately bought and tried the turmeric treatment (I bought raw spice at the grocery store). The treatment is not pleasant to drink, but it definitely kept my boil from forming. The next morning the pain from the boil was gone, and the lump shrunk. It took three more days for the lump to disappear, but it never surfaced. I'm so happy I found this treatment. I'm going to implement it every time I feel a boil forming in the future. Thank you!"

[YEA] 05/19/2009: DLC from Houston, TX writes: "I had my second boil ever, the first one was in '97, so I didn't really realize what it was until it was way beyond "first signs." I was desperate for some relief, even after seeing the doctor and getting a prescription for antibiotics. A friend recommended a baking soda poultice, and upon researching that, I found this site. I bought Turmeric capsules at ___ on the way home and began taking them immediately. That was 6 days ago. My wound opened up and began draining just before I started, but it was only a slight amount of blood, and by the next evening (24 hours after starting turmeric) it began to drain really well. I am so thankful for this site and for all the testimonials, as I am usually a skeptic about things like this. But when you're desperate and you don't want to have that doctor pull out the scalpel to lance you, well... I'm a converted believer. I saw the doc again 3 days after the first visit, 2 days after starting the supplement, and he said no need to lance it. I was thrilled! That first boil in '97 I had to have lanced. It was on my upper back and unreachable, and by the time I saw the doctor she had to cut about an inch deep. By the time they were done taking care of it, I think the doctor wished she had sent me to a surgeon. The nursing staff was stopping by to see all the drama. I never want to go through that again. Thanks again! I'll be telling everyone about this site."

[YEA] 05/02/2009: Willowone from Athens, GA writes: "I used tumeric to cure my boils. I woke up the morning I was leaving for Florida with a boil. I got on the internet and found your site. I tried to drink the 1 teaspoon in a glass of warm water. That was terrible. I then tried mixing it with apple juice which was not much better. I did finally drink it all. I carried the turmeric with me and finally decided to add it to my coffee. I did not measure I just sprinkled some in each cup of coffee. My boil never got very big and painful like the ones in the past. It drained a little and I had to pull the plug out but there is no lingering hard spot like the one I had a few weeks before."

[BETTER BUT NOT CURED] 04/30/2009: MazyDazy from Caribbean writes: "About 1yr. ago, I developed a pimple (in a very private area) which turned into a boil, months after. I was treated by the doctor, with steroids and it never completely disappeared, but it stopped paining. Then it returned. I had some medecine left, so I used it as weel as some anti-biotics. I became very concerned, and did some research. One website recommended turmeric, to be taken orally, the way your website recommends. However constipation was listed as a side effect so I just drink 1 tsp. in warm water, followed by 2 glasses of water as I suffer with constipation. I also used tea tree oil, I have at home, as a topical ointment. This was 2 wks ago, and I have had 3 outbreaks alltold. I am feeling some relief, although I can still feel a very small lump. I hope I have no more outbreaks. I also read about the use of turmeric powder, as a cancer fighting agent, so I think I will continue to drink it. I hope there are no side effects."

[YEA] 04/22/2009: Hillary from McDonough, GA writes: "I have been sufferig with recurring boils for 3 months now. I had never had a boild before in my life. THe first one showed up on my waistline. It was terribly painful and took about a week to burst and drain (no core). Accompanied with the boils I had swollen glands that never burst but were painful amd sore. The next 2 were the back of my right thigh. They were small, pimple like but very sore. They burst and drained left a small hole but still not core. This last one has been a nightmare. It is in the same spot as the original on my waistline. I can't sleep becasue of the pain (800mg of ibuprofen did not help at all). I was hours away from going to the doctor but dreading the thought of having it lanced and being placed on antibiotics that I did not think were going to work due to the research I have done online about boils. And then I came across your miracle site. I am a teacher and I ran out on my lunch break to get the capsules and some powder. I cook with turmeric and had some at home but I could not wait to get the process started. After trying the GNC which only had the capsules containing maltodextrose (thanks for the heads up) I got the Turmeric "One Daily" 600mg at my local herb shop. I immediately took 2 (1200mg). that was at 12 noon. Let me reiterate that the pain was so bad I was nauseated and almost passed out in the shower this morning. I also mixed up some of the powdered Turmeric with neosporin and put it directly on the boil with a band-aid. However I removed the band-aid after reading several messages about the rawness that was left after direct application. It was starting to burn a little and I got a little scared. When I got home at 3:30pm I was still in pain but was able to lie down and take a much needed nap(I have not been sleeping well). When I woke up (7:30pm) I eat a banana and took 2 more capsules (1200mg) almost immediately the pain subsided and the swelling that was 2 inches in diameter had gone down considerably. Thank you so much for this valuable information. I will post an update as to the progress. My hope is that when it finally begins to drain I can get the core out and coninue with the Turmeric regime as a part of my daily supplements. You saved me pain, time and money. I can't thank you enough!!!!!!!!!!!"
05/13/2009: Hillary from McDonough, GA replies: "This is a follow-up from my 04/22/2009 post. Turmeric is still working for me. I have been taking 2 550mg three times a day. I began to notice the beginning (swelling) of a new boil. At that time I switched from extract capsules to root capsules and that has made all the diffreence. I can see that the root is more potent. They smell better (more like the powdered turmeric) and the color is richer. The swelling went away completely and I did not have any draining or pain. I will continue to take turmeric everyday. However because of the potency of the root versus the extract I cut back to 2 capsules one time in the morning. Just as a side bar a shot of prune juice (literally a shot glass full) once a day eliminated the constipation for me. I am a lifetime believer in the healing power of turmeric!"

Also i mixed the turmeric with other natural vitamins, and echinacea pills, and some colloidal silver drops. Cant wait for it to completely go, so i can go back to my normal life. Thanks everyone and this website."

[YEA] 04/07/2009: Adam from Lincoln, Lincolnshire writes: "Thanks so much for the tumeric remedy for boils. I had a cut on my foot that got infected and became a boil. The doctor lanced it and gave me antibiotics, but even the next day it was back with a vengeance. It was worse again the following day, and very painful, I could hardly walk. I found your website, bought basic tumeric powder in the herbs section of the supermarket. At 2pm that day, I had 1 tsp tumeric in half a glass of warm water and again at 8pm. I also made a paste with tumeric powder and water and put a bandage over that, leaving it for about 5 hrs. By 10pm, I removed the bandage, the swelling was greatly reduced and boil had released some fluid (not a lot). The relief really was incredible, I could actually put all my weight on the bad foot with barely any discomfort (earlier that day I was hopping around mostly). So I am a beleiver for sure. It's 3 days later now, and it's nearly better, I am wearing shoes, walking properly and thinking about going for a run tonight. Thanks again.
Adam"
04/09/2009: Rob from Manhattan, New York replies: "thanks Adam..would like to add that the Journal of American Chemical society has just published a study (March 3, 2009) from University of Michigan on Turmeric. They have discovered that curcumin (active ingredient in Turmeric) works within the cell membranes making them function more orderly. This allows the membranes to more effectively control the flow of substances in and out of cells, which improves cells' resistance to infection and malignancy. So once again science is slowly catching up to what we know to be true, that it works. There is a low incidence of Alzheimers in India & it is thought that it is due to the frequent use of Turmeric in their cuisine."
EC: According to one post on EC, Alzheimer's is becoming more common in India...
http://www.earthclinic.com/CURES/cancer4.html#TURMERIC
02/05/2009: Ruma from Calcutta, India replies: "It is NOT true!! Cancer is not rare at all in India, though certain types of cancer are rare (such as colon cancer). Also, Alzheimer's is getting more and more common - one of my aunts suffered from Alzheimer's before she died.
But Turmeric is a powerful herb - it is a purifier of the blood and it is very good for you. It is best eaten in its raw form, and also does wonders for the skin if you make a paste out of the root and slather it over the face.
It really is an amazing herb but one needs to be careful before making claims about the occurrence of cancer!"

[YEA] 03/30/2009: Richard from New Rochelle, NY writes: "I'm a 48-year old male and have been getting boils on my upper thighs since about age 14 and they usually follow the same pattern; a small nodule close under the skin turns into a red, hot, angry, painful boil within 3-4 days that can sometimes grow 2 or more inches in width. The pain is intense and walking or sitting is sometimes impossible. The only thing that seems to help me is hot water baths, although about 5 years ago I switched to boxer shorts and the frequency of incidents immediately decreased. Antibiotics never seemed to help and many/all dermatologists left me without answers.
Based on the advice of this site, this time I tried turmeric pills. A large bottle was about $25, but that seems like a small price to pay given the pain these boils can inflict. I started taking 4/day and within a week reduced to 1/day.
The nodule never materialized into a boil. Maybe this would have happened anyway. Maybe it's coincidence, but a long-standing pattern was broken. It's been a week and sometimes the boil will re-materialize but so far it hasn't."

[YEA] 03/30/2009: Nic from Athens, Greece writes: "Hi all.
I have tried some of the home remedies I found here and elsewhere, and especially the ACV + honey helped me. But the turmeric is the best remedy, it's simply the answer to my prayers. I too wonder why doctors don't say to people that there are home remedies that cure boils and related infections. And I too had been having boils for the last five or six years and was taking antibiotics using ointments and even had them lanced to no purpose. I managed to stay a year away from antibiotics with the help of garlic and warm compresses, but a new one appeared and found your site and followed your advices. I bought turmeric a few weeks ago. I want to say a big thank you this is a great site and the home remedies WORK, especially the turmeric powder and the ACV+honey.
Last but not least, most of the boils appear when it rains, right now in Athens we have dust from the Sahara desert which is one of the most polluted regions, it started spreading in the atmosphere in Feb and in Feb it rained and got this new boil. So toxic rain, chemical substances in the atmosphere have also something to do with boils.
To all of you who suffer from these problems, believe us, these remedies work and you will feel better and healthier.
Cheers"

[YEA] 03/17/2009: Jennifer from Boston, MA writes: "I have suffered with horribly painful abscesses/boils in my genital area for years. They generally progress very slowly and painfully, never forming a head, and have always required a miserable trip to the doctor to be lanced. I recently got one shortly before I went on vacation. I had been applying hot compresses to it for a couple of days with no success. The night before I left for the trip, I was in so much pain and desperate for a remedy so that I wouldn't have to deal with the problem on my vacation. After reading this website, I did two things. In the late afternoon, I drank one teaspoon of turmeric in a half a glass of warm water (tasted disgusting, but I did it anyway). I drank the same concoction right before bed. I also made a paste of turmeric and a little bit of water and applied it to the abscess directly. I left it on for a couple of hours and then rinsed it off before I went to bed. I woke up early the next morning and the abscess had painlessly broken the surface of the skin and drained on its own as I slept. I considered it a miracle -- I was so happy. I drank one more glass of turmeric and water that morning just to play it safe, and it never bothered me again. If I ever get one again, I am using this remedy at the first sign of it! Thank you, thank you, thank you Earth Clinic!"

[YEA] 02/25/2009: Marcella from Richmond, Virginia writes: "I've had a life of great skin. That is, until now. I'm 23 and just had my second outbreak of boils. The first outbreak was 2 months ago and I just thought they were ingrown hairs, or irritation due to my use of baking soda as a natural deodorant (which could still be the case). My outbreak was ferocious this past month during my period. I had about 7 large lumps and 3 boils that tried coming to a head. I found Earth Clinic and immediately bought Tumeric pills (450mg) and started taking 3 at each meal. I did notice the swelling go down, but my biggest boil still hurt. I went to the store and bought the powder and followed the directions 1 tsp 3 times a day and WOW! My boils are diminishing right before my eyes! I did use tea tree oil last night and today and my big boil is losing its power! I have been using Dial soap only under my arms to better cleanse the area. I am so thankful for natural remedies, although beware that baking soda might just cause a block-up which will lead to boils!"
EC: From our experience too, cheap turmeric powder does appear to be more potent than expensive capsules bought in a health food store!!

[YEA] 02/16/2009: Ann from New Haven, CT writes: "Once a month with my cycle, I noticed I would get a huge quarter shape boil somewhere on my upper thigh. After three month of compresses and squeezing I decided to try the turmeric. I mixed 1/2 teaspoon of tumenic in 6 ounces of cold water. I dabbed a cotton ball with the mixture and used a bandaid to directly place the soaked cotton ball on the boil. I then drank the remaining mixture. The taste wasn't too bad. I will warn you that the orange color of the turmenic acts like a dye and it turned my nice white pj.s orange in the spot where my pj's rubbed against the bandaid. I did this for two days. On the third day I noticed that the boil reduced to half its size and started to slightly drain. Of course I tried squeezing it to rush its progress but it didn't help. I then forgot about the boil and didn't think about it for about a month. I tried to locate the boil but couldn't find any remnant of it. I was AMAZED. It was completely gone. The area was smooth and I couldn't feel any remnants of it underneath the skin. Turmenic had done it's magic. Thank you everyone for your suggestions! "

[YEA] 02/11/2009: Stan from San Francisco, CA, USA writes: "Turmeric cured two boils on my left arm before they erupted. After they appeared I went to your site in search of homeopathic spider anti-venom. There I found your reference to the common error of mistaking boils for spider bites. After just one week of following your suggested regimen of one teaspoon of turmeric dissolved in warm water, three times a day, my spider bites turned boils had all but disappeared without ever breaking the surface of the skin. Just as a precaution I kept Neosporin ointment applied to the locations under bandages, which I changed daily.
Kudos to your remedy and for your skeptical readers, I can say that this really works! Thanks..."

[YEA] 02/04/2009: CeCe from Miami, Fl writes: "Ok I so I got my first boil about 4 years ago I was like 16 and I had went to the doctor, he said my hair follicle was infected and gave me some medicine. It didnt work a week later I had another one along with the one I went to the doctor with. My mom had did some research and had me trying everything on them like onion, iodine, and ickthemal (wrong spelling) she actually even made some tumeric tea for me but i didnt want it becaus it tasted disgusting. I kept getting boils (proabably over 30) until I went to another doctor and he gave me a VERY expensive medicine that cured it.
Anyway 4 years later I'm living on my own and got a boil...I freaked out but hoped maybe it was just one and they weren't going to keep happening. Well I was wrong 2 days later another one popped up. I didn't have the money for the medicine so I started looking online for cures...I came accross this site and that night I made my self turmeric tea and applied it to the boils in a paste and covered it up. honestly it made it feel better but it didn't drain any faster. Still having hope for it I went to pick up some turmeric capsles. I was happy to see they were only 3 dollars for 50 capsles. So I started taking 2 everyday (like it said on the bottle) And didn't get one for a whole month. I decided to start skipping days and do it every other day and still no boils. About 4 months later everyday I feel my body and make sure theres no signs of boils starting. Any little bump and I take 2 pills each day for 2 days in a row and its gone. This stuff is a miracle Im so happy I found it!! I wish I could tell everyone who ever had a boil about it!!!!"

Turmeric has been a god send. I take 5 capsules when I feel it comimg on 3 times a day and also make a paste and rub it on with a q-tip. But for the life of me, why the inside of my nose? This is my fourth one in two months so I think I may take Turmeric daily to head the little jewels off."

[YEA] 01/22/2009: Richa from New Delhi, India writes: "Turmeric cured my boil. I had my first boil in years. It was angry and painful.I was worried sick that it'd never heal so i scoured the internet for treatment. I found the "take turmeric internally" suggestion on your website. So i dissolved turmeric in warm water as suggested and tried to drink. But it tasted so awfull that even the burning pain in my boil could not convince me to swallow the concoction! If turmeric is what the evil boil needs, so it will have...this is what i thought and came up with this:
In a mug-full of hot water i added 1 tsp turmeric powder. Applied warm water heat to the boil using a cloth. Did this three times a day. And on the fourth day my boil drained without warning and without any pain!
I feel so relieved and elated.
P.S. I am from India and turmeric is readily available in all forms. I used the normal turmeric powder from the store."
