EGG WHITE READER FEEDBACK

130 YEA
17 NAY
1 BETTER BUT NOT CURED
2 WORKED TEMPORARILY

[YEA]  06/25/2006: Rebecca from Houston, TX writes: "My 5 year old had a high fever for about 40 hours. It would only come down temporarily after a cool bath and then spike back up. On 6/25 at 3:00 am my child woke me up and again had a fever of 103. Out of desperation I got on the internet and saw the egg white remedy on your website. Although I was very doubtful of the effectiveness I went ahead and dipped a paper towel in egg white and wrapped my child's feet and covered them with socks. At 3:20 the fever was down to 101 and by 3.30 it was at 100! I just took it again at 9:30 in the morning and it is normal! After battling his stubborn fever I just can't believe that this worked, but it did. Thanks!"

The pain was immediately gone and did not return. I have no marks from the burn either. MIRACULOUS!"

Thank you so much at least my little grand-son did not have to be traumatized in the hospital with blood tests, etc... Thanks again"

FENUGREEK SEEDS

1 YEA

[YEA]  Emmanuella from Long Beach, CA writes: "When I was a child my mother used to give me Fenugreek tea. It doesn't taste very good, but she would give me a cup of this and two excederin and I would wake up a few hours later, with a broken fever. I had my appetite back and felt much better. This tea does come out through your pores, so it won't smell very nice. This tea worked for me, maybe it can work for someone else too."

GINGER ROOT

1 YEA

[YEA]  05/23/2006: Christina from Bel Air MD writes: "You take raw ginger put it in water and bring it to a boil. Use a big pot (the one you use for spagetti). After it boils for 15 to 20 min, take it off the heat. Run water in the tub, the water should be as warm as the person can take. Before the person gets in put the ginger root water in the tub. Mix it around. The whole body should be covered. Let them sit there for as long as they can take it. Once out. Put them in long pajamas, wrap them with a blanket, put them to bed, and put the other blankets on top. They'll start to sweat out the fever. Found this on www.herbalhealer.com website when my tots had high fevers."

HOLD THE CHILD

1 YEA

[YEA]  03/06/2008: Michelle from Lamora, Mexico writes: "To hold a child brings down the fever. When the babies get sick if you hold them in the position you would were you breastfeeding them it helps to bring down the fever...something to do with the energy flow. also you can lay them on a bed and place one hand under their head and one under their bottom and let them lay on your hands for a while. this works as well"

LIQUID CALCIUM

1 YEA

[YEA]  12/03/2006: Chris from Denver, CO writes: "My son had a relatively high fever and was lying on the couch, not doing very well at all. I had heard about calcium for fever, so I gave him some liquid calcium in apple juice and thought I'd let him sleep. 25 minutes later I went to check on him and he was outside, riding his roller up and down the sidewalk, no sign of fever! The chiropractor who first told us about calcium said that fever is actually an attempt by the body to heat up the bones and teeth so it can remove calcium and use it for the white blood cells. So taking calcium seems to make a fever unnecessary."

MMS FOR VALLEY FEVER

1 YEA

[YEA]  06/11/2009: Diana from La Jolla, CA writes: "I was diagnosed last year with Valley Fever, a fungus in the lungs, which quickly turned into Pneumonia. I was given antibiotics and all sorts of medication but my condition worsened and persisted for over three months. I was then introduced to MMS by my sister in law, who had used it successfully for psoriasis and I began taking the apropriate dose. Within a week, the Pneumonia was completely gone I and could breath again. For me, it was a miracle cure since Valley Fever is extremely difficult to cure!! DS"

06/12/2009: Christine from Durban, KZN, South Africa replies: "What does MMS mean?"

MULTIPLE REMEDIES TRIED

1 NAY

[NAY]  05/05/2008: Glen from Pasadena , CA, U.S.A. writes: "None of this stuff works!!! I tried quite a bunch of this kind of stuff and none of it helped! My 4yr old son has had a fever (101-103) for 6 days now. I've been to the emergency room with no success either. His white blood cells are immature and high for normal standards. We had a u.a done and an x-ray on his lungs. None of these showed any problems. He has a cough that has become hacking and coming up mucosa. He has post nasal drip... none that is yellow or green. All clear. But coughs up whit/ yellow Flem. X-ray on the lungs showed nothing. WHAT is WRONG here?!"

OREGANO OIL ON THE FEET FOR FEVER

2 YEA
1 WORKED TEMPORARILY

[YEA]  03/05/2008: Michelle from West Palm Beach, Florida writes: "I couldn't find this one so here goes. Best for kids, as it helps whatever is causing the fever, especially virus. Two drops of Oreganol Oil, on each foot rub it in and fever will break in a matter of five (5) minutes. I have four kids and have used this on ALL of them. It has absolutely always worked.

You can rub a few drops on chest for congestion or sinus trouble too. I have used two drops behind ear (rub all around area) for curing ear infections, ear pain, etc.

You can't beat it for cuts, they will never get infected! Best for little finger cuts as they are hard to keep clean! Also cures toenail fungus, especially seriously infected ones, drop several drops around nail bed, under nail, and around affected toe, with in hours, the pain is gone! Three times a day and the toe infection will be gone in a few days. My friend 6'11" male, was about to go to the ER when I told him to try this, he could barely walk! It was easy to walk in a matter of hours and completely cured in a few days! Three times a day several drops. Epsom salt soaks help to draw out infection and help pain too.

Earth Clinic is my Favorite for everything!"

[WORKED TEMPORARILY]  06/08/2008: Deborah from Winston, GA replies: "NAY - 1 drop rubbed on each foot worked temporarily on my 3-1/2 year old son. Brought the fever down 1 pt within 10 minutes. But after 15 minutes the fever went back up. Tried again and had no effect. Rubbing the oil around the back and outside of the ears did help the ear pain."

[YEA]  11/20/2009: Martina from Los Angeles, Ca replies: "My husband was fighting sudden high fewer after having had an inflammation in his knee for about two weeks. I massaged the oregano oil onto his soles and around his knee, he fell asleep, sweat a lot and the fewer dropped. He is feeling much better. What a great idea this remedy is. Thank you for the hint!"

POTATO

6 YEA

[YEA]  10/24/2009: Kk from Belleville, Nj, Usa writes: "I've had a fever for 3 days and was taking Tylenol every 6 hours to bring it down. It wasn't helping, so I tried the potato remedy that is mentioned on this site. I am so shocked that something as simple as potatoes brought my fever down in 2 hours. I peeled a large potato, sliced it and put it in the fridge for about half hour. Then I put the sliced potatoes on my feet and covered it with socks. An hour later I took the potatoes out and put them in the fridge again for half hour. Applied them to my feet again and VOILA - fever gone!!! I repeated the whole procedure again next morning, just to make sure the fever didn't come back. Try it people, it truly is a miracle."

[YEA]  04/05/2009: Heather from New Orleans, Louisiana writes: "We have been using potatoes in my family to break fever for many years. My mother is 65 and HER mother used to do it when she was a little girl. I tell all of my friends about it b/c it does work and many people do not know about. Get an old pair of socks that fit snugly. Purchase larger sized potatoes. Cute them in half and keep them in the FRIDGE to make them cold! Then, slip them into your socks and keep them on your feet until they cooked! They will turn brown or black from drawing the fever out of your body. I have done this many times throughout my life and only once did my fever not break. I was very, very sick when that happened. But, 95% of the time will work for you. You can even stick the used potatoes in a bag back into the fridge to get cold again...then reapply to the feet within a half hour or so. Please try this...it's been in my family for two generations and there is a reason why."

[YEA]  06/13/2008: June from Sheboygan Falls, WI writes: "My daughter had a fever of 103. I came to Earth Clinic to find a natural remedy as we don't take any over the counter or prescription medications in our family. I found several suggestions, the sliced potatoes being my first choice because they were the least messy.
I sliced some potatoes, placed them on the bottom of my daughter's feet and wrapped her feet in towels. Within an hour her temp was down to 99. Another success story for us! Thanks so much to Earth Clinic for helping!"

[YEA]  04/12/2008: Beth from Chicago, IL writes: "I had a rapidly rising fever last night that hit 103.1 and was only getting worse. Nothing was really bringing it down and my friend googled and found this website - since I had no egg whites, I opted for potato slices that I kept on my feet with socks.

Sure, I felt a little ridiculous and was reasonably sure that my fever had driven me to desperation and/or madness, but within two hours I was down to 99 degrees. So, there you have it, potatoes for fevers."

[YEA]  03/18/2008: Vee from Salt Lake City, Utah writes: "My husband's fever was rapidly rising to a 101.8. I read some of the responses on how to reduce a fever and I remembered my grandma using POTATOES. I sliced potatoes long ways and placed them on the soles of my husbands feet then put socks on. Placed some on his chest (without a shirt) and covered with a towel. I placed a cool wash cloth with some rubbing alcohol on his forehead and within the firt 30 mins, his fever was going down. After an hour it was below 100.Potatoes work well for reducing a fever."

POTATO AND APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

1 YEA

[YEA]  01/17/2008: Bianang from Sarasota, FL writes: "Being that my son is allergic to eggs, I tried the ACV and water compress to help bring down his fever of 101.8. After a few hours, it came down to about 101. I then tried a big slice of potato in each sock - after an hour fever was down to 99.9! Thanks for those that have shared on this site - I've gotten a lot of helpful non-drug remedies here."
