BLOOD ZAPPING AND MAGNETIC PULSER FOR HEAVY METAL REMOVAL

07/11/2010: Nobel Metal from Manila, Philippines writes: "Dear Ted and all, Thank you:

Please in the subject of 'blood zapping' and 'Magnetic Pulser', what is the Truth (the blood truth and danger, if any at all) of Blood zapping and or the Magnegic pulser protocol while on the daily three Tablespoon's of 'Oleander Soup' per 24 hours?, (and or garlic and onions for that matter. )

The Magnetic Pulser has just arrived from Sota, Canada, and we here have never plugged it in as yet, but will post first, and thank you all, and if anyone knows from real and true blood knowledge, in the two together, and if there would be a problem if any, please let us know, and thank you"

REMEDIES FOR HIGH LEVELS OF LEAD AND CADMIUM

11/18/2009: Joe from Lake Park, Fl writes: "Ted,

For removing high levels of metals in the body you suggeste using either Garlic, Cilantro, Oil Pulling, and EDTA (tetradisodium edta or disodium edta). Another site mentioned that EDTA works but it doesn't cross the blood brain barrier or function intracellular.

Is there also such a thing as using cilantro or parsley to pull the metals out of deep tissues first while starting EDTA, Garlic, OP, ? I tested very high for lead and cadmium. Which would work the quickest ? I found a cilantro in liquid dropper bottle will this work just as good as fresh cilantro?"

HOW TO MAKE A HEAVY METAL TESTER?

04/08/2009: Nicole writes: "Hi Ted

Did you ever succeed in making a heavy metal tester? I am interested in making one if you can tell me how. I have heavy metal poisoning and am working hard to heal myself and my family. Thanks! Nicole"

04/08/2009: Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Dear Nicole:

Yes I have succeeded in making a heavy metal tester. Although I can't display exact color scheme as an example to what metals which colors, but all previous post you can refer to based on description. The chemical name is Dithizone, C13H12N4S molecular weight is M =256.33. I will use a thin plastic, such and the chemical will be on the end, very small amount. It is then placed in wintergreen oil (methylsalicylate). Dithizone is available in most chemical suppliers and scientific suppliers.

The ones they use commercially as a solvent is problematic. They use benzenes or other hydrocarbons, which causes metabolic acidosis and if enters the system, is recirculated in the body and sometimes accumulates. Perhaps that's why they are so cancer causing. In any event the methyl salicylate when stored must be kept in metal free containers away from light and stored in refrigerator, otherwise it looses it's green color quick and become colorless. In other words, is destroyed. in any event, the solution, is placed in a plastic or glass test tube and you spit in them and shake. The bottle will turn to certain colors.

For example, when I tested, mine is pink, which makes for positive heavy metals of zinc and some copper. Which is correct and the source of contamination came from bad water faucet brass (you ought to look at the inside of the faucet!). The bacteria forms a film biofilm inside the faucet and releases huge amounts of copper and zinc (they're brass). The other part of the connecting pipes are rusted metal. In some countries they still used lead pipes, so the color is red. Mercury was an interesting one and comes from mercury amalgam in the teeth. So it's there if there is a lot. Urine samples can be tested also. I have used an old water cooler, another source of metal toxicity too, If those were eliminated it will test for negative. But as a warning a source of heavy metals comes from another obvious source: your frying pain, especially the worse of all frying pan: cast iron frying pan. Those can't be tested directly with dithizone however. You need other ingenious means, such as tannic acid. Which turns black overnight. That's how they make black inks. In any case, put water samples, urine samples in a 1%-5% tannic acid solution dissolved in DISTILLED WATER as a metal tester kit. Then you will pour this tannic acid in distilled water into a test tube. Put urine samples, saliva samples, and cover the test tube. Overnight it will turn black, mostly from the iron as tannic acid binds strongly to them turning black. It takes longer for the reaction to occur, but tannic acid is the best test for iron generally speaking. Most other metals can be done with a dithizone, and when you shake a couple of times the color shows the presence of metal. A negative result or no heavy metal will be green. So obviously a dithizone is a lof fater than the tannic acid, but the dithizone can't check for iron. It can check for lead, copper, cadmium, mercury and zinc, but not for iron.

In any event, the common chelation therapy I personally use, is the tetra sodium EDTA, which is an alkaline form of chelation. That's why I don't like disodium EDTA, it is acid, but it acidity can be neutralized with baking soda for example. The dose I used is 25 -50 mg. so the dose is much lower commercially which is between 250-500 mg, which will result in diarrhea or loose stools. It's my suspicion that these marketing companies don't test their own product and that's why they can retain an average customers for only 3 months and spend a huge amount of marketing budget trying to find a new one. If the average customers had no problem with a product, the customer's retention can be expanded to 1 year which is the average for a more conscious supplement seller. LOL.

In any event other chelation should be considered too such as green tea no milk no flavorings. They chelate out iron and cadmium. A tannic acid solution can be drank and i read their journals where the cells is not negatively effected. The dose of tannic acid that can be added in a drinking water is between 1/8 to 1/4 (maximum to 1/2) in the drinking water. If the water does have high iron, the water if left overnight turns light gray. But if it is heavily contaminated, it turns like black ink! Pomegranate is another one high in tannic acid too, but for me tannic acid is a cheap source. Some in fact used pomegranate for cancer treatment, but that's from the fact that it reduces free iron radicals, a primary cause of aging in the free radical theory. So either is fine, green tea, pomegranate, or tannic acid for ridding of iron.

Traditional chelation is calcium EDTA, but I get negative feedback because when EDTA is attached to any heavy metals,it release calcium and if in excess causes clotting and people feel dragged down as blood flow gets hampered. The ones I used are mostly tetrasodium EDTA or disodium EDTA, after buffering the disodium, and at a much smaller dose with some space of non chelation days also. Cilantro are also used and the more heavy metals the less the chelation dose is used because we want to minimize circulating heavy metals being chelated. In excess it makes people sick and hence dose is given low.

As heavy metals get less more chelation dose can be used as circulating heavy metals are now reduced, which won't damage much of the cells during that stage.

Ted"

HEAVY METAL TESTER

09/28/2007: Joann from Port St Joe, Florida writes: "Hi, Ted said that he made his own Heavy Metal Tester. Will you please share how we can make our own."

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "The simplest possible way to make a heavy metal tester for most people is to buy a bottle of dithizone, reagent grade, 131791.1604 C12H12N4S. Mine is 5 grams. Details of the chemical are here:

http://www.dithizone.com/

The biggest costs is actually just getting that. Then after that, you can perform nearly infinite numbers of test. The most sober appears to be the drinking water, and the rice cooker, and the food that uses frying pan that may have cadmium, mercury or copper as a metal impurities. Mercury leakage might be possible, on a tooth filling if the dentist got careless. A composite tooth fillings won't have any metals, by the way.

Then I find a suitable oils, such as diesel fuel oil (stinks), other appropriate light oils, perhaps mineral oil or even vegetable oil. The amount you add to the oils is very tiny. If I were to get a glass rod and stick it in the oils, then the solution will dissolve itself into a medium green color. Oil is used a medium BECAUSE oil ATTRACTS heavy metal and the dithizone will change color when a metal is attached to the dithizone.

The solution is then added to the test solution to determine the presence of heavy metals. Many commercial products keep a secret this dithizone and they sometimes bind to certain heavy metals to test for a specific metals based on the color codes. When testing, the solution is shaked vigorously for one minute. The color will change. You will be surprise to find the presence of heavy metals in your saliva, which happens quite often with me, and hence the use of oil pulling. Oil attacts metal that's why dithizone tests uses oil as a medium and it is this reason why oil pulling is used to remove it.

As a side note, dithizone can be added to any vegetable oils of your choice, but the vegetable oils are also subjected to spoilage and cannot be stored for a long period of time. Also the dithizone tends to degrade if the room temperature exceeds 90 degrees, which my own room sometimes can go up to 101 degree fahrenheit (but usually 92 degrees fahrenheit, but in air conditioned, my average room temperature is 87 degrees fahrenheit -which is not a good temperature to keep dithizone solution). Storing at 85+ degreeFahrenheitwill cause the dithizone to degrade to a colorless and useless solution. A room temperature region of above 85 fahrenheit, makes it more feasible to store the testing solution in a refrigerator.

If the tests is negative, the solution should be green. Here are the other colors where dithizone will change colors in presence of other metals:Zinc MagentaLead RedCopper PurpleCadmium PeachMercury Yellow

Aluminum cannot be tested here.I have a theory about the effectiveness of the test. The lighter the oils, in terms of reduced thickness, the better it absorbs heavy metals. Hence most vegetable oils are like that, but the linalool, a major component of chinese parsley may be the best one, as it passes through the body usually unprocessed, and hence its popularity as a chelating agent for removal of heavy metals.

Of course, I haven't as yet tried to use linalool as a medium to mix dithizone, but it should technically be more sensitive in picking up heavy metals. Diesel fuel oil can work too and I think other marketers are using that, because of its low cost. Some brilliant marketers make sure you are limited to a number of test by putting a tiny paste of dithizone to each test tubes to limit the number of tests youcan perform, so you can keep buying from them.

If you mix a bottle 30 cc using a glass rod (which is about below 1 mg of dithizone, you can actually perform hundreds of test instead of limiting yourself to just 5 or 10 tests."

HEAVY METAL DETOXING WITH CAL EDTA

09/07/2007: J from East Lansing, USA writes: "I am J... from Michigan. I have read all Q&A on your website and have lots of questions on OP. Thank you soooo much for your gracious sharing.

I have been having Cal EDTA, 15 min IV Injections for heavy metals cadium, lead, nickel and aluminum. I have had 12 treatments for far. About 3 weeks ago I started getting UTI with protein in my urine. I had five days of Leviquin antibiotic and cystistatin herbal for 10 days. Then one day the urine sample was cleared but three days later (while still on cystistatin) the urine again showed trace protein and Leukocytes, Ph 6.5, Urobilinogen 0.2. I have a history of Asthma and the majority of the time I have Chronic sinusitis with mucous draining into my throat so that I feel like I am suffocating. In addition I have anxiety disorder which causes reflux which further makes me short of breath. I have temporarily stopped the Cal EDTA treatments. I am for the first time doing the Nety Pot twice a day for sinusitis. My doctor also put me on Bactrum Antibiotic for 7 days. I am doing ACV 2TBSP to ½ Tsp baking soda and ½ Cup Rev Osmosis water twice a day on an empty stomach. I am using ½ tsp BS instead of ¼ because of the antibiotic.

1. What remedy can I use to stop the chronic sinusitis? I have not started oil pulling yet. Do you think I should start OP?

2. Do you think OP removes heavy metals faster than the 15 min IV CAL EDTA treatments? Is there any advantage to OP over CAL treatments?

3. The Doctor stays that the CAL EDTA treatment would not cause UTI. They prescribed 20 treatments and then would retest status of Heavy metals level. Some of my levels, particularly Cadmium were off the charts. They said it is hard to get the metals out of the tissues. I met one lady who had 101 CAL treatments. I don't want to have this many treatments. I have had 12 so far. But I read on your website that when there is a significant decrease in metals UTI can occur. Do you think that the CAL EDTA treatments are contributing to the UTI?

4. If any technique for removal of heavy metals can result in UTI do I keep doing the treatments? How long will it take for the cycle of UTI's to pass? If I continue the OP or CAL treatments what can I do to control UTI without antibiotics?

5. Can OP be done in addition to CAL EDTA treatments to speed up the clearing process? If so what would be the side effects?

6. Is there any reason why CAL EDTA/OP would cause protein/blood in Urine?

7. How precisely do you make a satuariated solution of baking soda? How much solution do you use and how much peppermint? How is the remainder of the solution stored? Should the peppermint be put in the total solution or should it only be put in the individual serving when you do a mouthwash?

8. Since I experience anxiety what is a safe and gradual way to do OP so that I can adjust to it and minimize herx without having panic attacks?

9. I see a lot of Baking soda is recommended. Does this interfere with blood pressure?

10. You mentioned drinking ½ teaspoon of baking soda and ½ cup of water OR ¼ tspn baking soda, 2 tbsn ACV and ½ cup water before doing OP to help neutralize toxins. When is it better to add the ACV instead of just doing baking Soda and Water? How long must you wait after drinking this mixture before doing OP? Do I brush my teeth after drinking this but before OP?

11. Does OP remove friendly flora or intestinal enzymes? Can OP cause candida growth?

12. Are there any know drug interactions from using OP and baking soda? I use saline inhalers, norvasc for BP, sometimes nexium and xanax for anxiety. Currently on Bactrum antibiotic for sinus. I also take Bovine extract, enzymes and herbal supplements.

13. Is it ok to do the baking soda, ACV and water drink and then do the mouthwash with ½ tsp Baking soda, ½ cup water and 1 or 2 drops of peppermint oil and then brush my teeth and eat my meal? (no OP with this). How long should I wait before eating?

14. I take something called Seacure Hydrolyzed white fish supplement 20 minutes before eating. Is there a problem taking this after I get the ACV/BS mixture down?

15. The 2TP of ACV and ½ Tsp baking soda mixture is strong going down. Can this be put in a quart of water and taken throughout the day instead of in ½ cup of water?

16. You mention OP might deplete minerals and a supplement should be taken once to twice a month. Since it is difficult to know what minerals are being depleted, what mineral supplement can you recommend?

17. Metabolic blood testing showed beginning stages of chronic kidney disease. Can Oil pulling help this? CAL EDta injections pass thru the kidneys and excrete through the urine. If Oil pulling is used will heavy metals still pass through the urine?

18. What natural remedy can I use to help build up my kidneys to avoid further deterioration?

19. Does all this ACV or Baking soda hurt the kidneys? How long should one keep up the ACV and Baking soda?"

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "I have been having Cal EDTA, 15 min IV Injections for heavy metals cadium, lead, nickel and aluminum.

My own thoughts is that an EDTA injections should be done once a week, since this method is a push method of ridding heavy metals. Not all heavy metals are pushed out as the liver, intestines and sweat glands has a limited capacity for getting rid of them. Remember the EDTA is pushed out and the bottlenecks are these organs. Getting a laxative after a chelation therapy will increase such capacity. If it is overloaded, laboratory petri dishes can also increase bacterial infections if the EDTA were applied at least initially since metals are increased in the serum level and this is how infections start. Bacteria and microbes seem to grow faster as metals are dissociated from tissue to serum. A sudden increase in metals in serum can result in infection. The safest way (just my long observations) are the EDTA suppository method followed by the EDTA oral method, based on my experience with parents treating autism. The suppository method has the greatest limited ability for chelation into the tissue to pull out, but stresses organs (intestinal) to pull out the metals. This minimizes sudden increase or jump in heavy metals and won't harm the kidneys, or at least minimizes.

The second effective method is the oral disodium EDTA, but there's a trick (seems the practitioner were not that observant on this either) that minimize the impact of minimizing heavy metal serum. The key is to dissolve only a small pinch EDTA in a glass of water (at the very least!) or about 250 mg of disodium EDTA (preferable) per liter of water.

You might be wondering why the sudden infection increases of a calcium EDTA initiate such responses in Urinary Tract infections.

Actually there are two reasons for this that is not well described (don't see any literature on that or in the internet), but has been my own experiments and observations:

1. A sudden heavy metals, chelated or not, increases in blood serum levels allows bacteria growth easier than if the metals were attached to tissue. The reason is simple: oxygen serum levels are higher than the tissue and free radicals are also hence higher and bacteria and microbes will fluorish, at least initially.

2. Calcium gets dissociated to become a free Calcium ions as EDTA attaches to heavy metals, the Calcium ions is freed. The problem about excess calcium ions is bacteria, mycoplasma, tend to grow at an accelerated rate in rich blood calcium serum levels. It becomes a food for them. This is actually the major reason why infections are experienced and people feel bad doing a calcium EDTA injection or calcium EDTA infection drips.

3. The present Calcium EDTA injections are way too agressive (whatever you are doing) and I don't seem to get any positive feedback from the injection approach, while the slow drip IV are too expensive, and can introduce infections during the IV process.

The only middle path out this dilemma is whatever concentration, amount per injections and frequency should ALL be reduced by at least 1/2. That means if concentration is x%, then a reduction is seen at x/2%, and if the amount is xx c, then the modified amount should be x/2 cc, and if the injections are carried out at x times per week, the newer frequency is now x/2 times per week. If resultant x frequency after dividing by 2 is exactly equals to 1, then it is carried out once a week, if it is below this to .5, then it becomes once every two weeks, and vice versa. A laxative, bentonite, high sea salt drinking water, AND citric acid drinks can help in an event of EDTA injections. There's a trick on this that needs further description.

The laxative lowers the bottleneck by the various organs of limited heavy metal capacity to remove the chelated heavy metals via the urinary tract, intestinal tract, and the sweat glands. Laxative speeds up heavy metal clearance. Unfortunately calcium clearance and free calcium ions created is still very high during and immediately after calcium EDTA injections pushing an unnecessarily pressure on the kidneys in terms of calcium overload and bacteria overgrowth from the calcium ions. Therefore a 2 tablespoon lemon juice plus 1/2 teaspoon baking soda in 1/2 glass of water done every 3-6 hours should reduce the sudden increase in blood calcium ions. It is this very reason why I'd rather pursue disodium EDTA oral chelation method, but not by tablet or capsule forms, but by greatly diluting the component in water, to increase the percentage of absorption of EDTA into the blood stream. As you know disodium EDTA is an astringent, limiting its own absorption along the intestinal tract if the concentration of EDTA is too high, and hence why it should be dissolve in a water. Astringency effect reduces both the absorption AND greatly increasing loose stools or cause a diarrhea effect, which can be good at times for detoxification, but its effect on chelation in the blood is greatly limited, yet it is still effective if heavy metal chelation exists along the intestinal tract, which can occur whenever EDTA injections are used. The disodium EDTA has the added ability to chelate excess calcium that is also created from the Calcium EDTA methodology. Thus disodium EDTA can be used either alone or in combination with the calcium EDTA injections.

I have had 12 treatments for far. About 3 weeks ago I started getting UTI with protein in my urine.

Kidney clearance is bottlenecked from free Calcium ion clogging up and bacteria grows whenever the medium is rich in calcium iodS AND high heavy metals created during the Calcium EDTA chelation process. A bacteria already bounded to heavy metal would more or less bound itself to calcium, especially the fungi (mycoplasma and mycobacterium) and tends to spread (reproduce) hundreds of times more quickly if they were allowed to circulate around the blood all at once. Hence, it is not surprising UTI results and a lemon juice plus baking soda mentioned before, to keep a very high citrate in the body being vital BEFORE and AFTER te Ca EDTA is actually done. The citrate attaches quickly to the free metal Calcium ions thus reducing the calcium clogging and bacteria growth especially the mycobacterium, responsible for autoimmunity. A urinary tract infection can also be reduced, but in my case were completely cured with just one single dose 1-2 teaspoon of sea salt in one glass of water. However, excess calcium serum issues is not addressed, and hence only citrate (lemon and baking soda remedy) is done.

This is WHY blood banks add the sodium citrate (a resultant reaction of baking soda and citric acid) component to the blood, as free metal calcium causes blood clots, and causes blood to be infected rather easily. If only calcium EDTA was initially added, the blood becomes quickly inflected if the citrate were not there to quickly chelate the calcium. Actually disodium EDTA buffered properly would do a much better job in chelation of heavy metals and reducing calcium. It is most dramatic if the same blood is given to a patient would eventually cause heart attack or even a blood clots as the calcium component causes blood clots. Hence a simple remedy of just citrates may just be a very simple solution to protect against blood clotting to blood recipients, but it may be just as important to me to just take citrate to reduce not only of calcium buildup in the blood, but also reduce blood infection, kidney infection and to some extent urinary tract infection prevention by reducing excessive calcium ion buildup in the blood. This is the basis of my entire lemon and baking soda remedy and to some extent apple cider vinegar and baking soda remedy just the same. It is this reason why these remedies are so important for a whole range of diseases, as it reduces bacterial and mycobacterium buidup in the BLOOD by reducing excess calcium buildup in the first place.

Once you understand my pet theories of this whole chelation process than I can answer briefly the questions posed:

1. What remedy can I use to stop the chronic sinusitis? I have not started oil pulling yet. Do you think I should start OP?

Oil pulling is only done BETWEEN brushing of teeth. The oral cavities is one of the many organs that can remove the heavy metals. This might help the sinusitus. Stopping the sinusitus, is best helped with 1000 mg x 3 times a day of vitamin C sodium ascorbate (or with ascorbic acid mixed together but not alone) and preferably dissolved in a full glass of water to reduce the problematic acid base crashes as it goes into the digestive system.

2. Do you think OP removes heavy metals faster than the 15 min IV CAL EDTA treatments? Is there any advantage to OP over CAL treatments?

The problems is NOT about the speed your liver, kidneys, intestines, sweat glands, oral cavities (via oil pulling) has limited capacity to remove the chelated heavy metals. The other problem is the excess calcium that is created for which the body has no clearance to rid of that. It is this reason why some people feel bad from calcium EDTA chelation. The problem therefore exists that the chelation is TOO FAST for the body to handle and the calcium ions is created to fast LEADING TO blood infections especially the kidneys. If you want best speed without the associated problems, then it appears to be only EDTA suppositories, or the EDTA chelation pull method. The Disodium EDTA is BOTH a push AND pull method, and in the meantime, the calcium EDTA is the push method. Why that word exists is simple: you push the heavy metals onto the kidneys or intestines for example, creating a problem then and there as it must past through those organ. Extreme pushing would no doubt destroy damage the kidney especially when calcium ions are actually clogging at the time where you need to clear them the fastest. So in the order of safetiness, effectiveness and speed for non emergency chelation (as opposed to heavy metal poisoning where IV can be considered), it appears to be as follows, suppository EDTA, disodium EDTA orally diluted in plenty of water 250 mg per one liter, and finally oil pulling. Since this is not a race horse, the suppositories, disodium EDTA, and oil pulling can be done at the same time, but my greatest fear is the EDTA injections from the calcium ions being created and some excess heavy metals that can initiate bacterial overgrowth as it exists in the blood serum in very high amounts. But this problem was already addressed previously.

3. Do you think that the CAL EDTA treatments are contributing to the UTI?

Since I don't make money on anything, and those who push those therapies might be a sales people in some more than one way, and based on my own experience and feedback, this can not only lead to UTI, but also kidney problems. This is already explained very clearly in the begining of this email.

4. If any technique for removal of heavy metals can result in UTI do I keep doing the treatments? How long will it take for the cycle of UTI's to pass? If I continue the OP or CAL treatments what can I do to control UTI without antibiotics?

It might be the calcium AND the heavy metals increase in serum. Sea salt 1 teaspoon in one full glass of water once a week will reduce the UTI cycle. The kidney infection will be reduced with a calcium clearance, using the lemon and baking soda mentioned.

5. Can OP be done in addition to CAL EDTA treatments to speed up the clearing process? If so what would be the side effects?

Yes, but ONLY if done BETWEEN brushing of teeth and sufficient rinsing of mouth thereafter. And only if a lemon and baking soda is done twice a day. (Worth repeating again: 2 tablespoon of lemon juice plus 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in AT LEAST 1/2 glass of water, taken once in the morning and once before bedtime on an empty stomach).

6. Is there any reason why CAL EDTA/OP would cause protein/blood in Urine?

Yes, high urinary protein is a result of bacteria buildup as bacteria and hence high urinary bacteria. A precondition of this is high heavy metals and especially high blood calcium, to cause this problem. Your kidneys seem to have limited clearance of either or both heavy metals and calcium ion buildup.

7. How precisely do you make a saturated solution of baking soda? How much solution do you use and how much peppermint? How is the remainder of the solution stored? Should the peppermint be put in the total solution or should it only be put in the individual serving when you do a mouthwash?

Try two tablespoon of baking soda in a glass of water. This pretty close approximation. The peppermint's is to be put onto a oil pulling to be done, I would try anywhere between 3-7 drops of peppermint oil in one tablespoon. I never memorized the optimum peppermint to be added, however a clue is if it feels too hot from oil pulling use, I would obviously need more peppermint oil.

8. Since I experience anxiety what is a safe and gradual way to do OP so that I can adjust to it and minimize herx without having panic attacks?

I would try a ridiculously small amount of oil pulling (how about 1/4 teaspoon of oil?) between brushing teeth and do it only 1 minute after adding a couple of drops of peppermint oil. Other website advocated too much use, effectively killing off the remedies from undue side effect. My guess is they are too enthusiastic, didn't try it themselves, or a highly unlikely, but funny conspiracy to destroy the remedy of oil pulling by overdose. The exactness of the amount of anxiety pretty much really depends on the observer's feeling how how much constitute an increase in anxiety. My level is closer to 1 tablespoon, people with high anxiety might consider 1/4 teaspoon). But whatever the amount precautionary brushing between the teeth, lemon and baking soda, and peppermint oils are used regardless of the anxiety level. My preference has been the bare minimum of 5 minutes to be sufficient. The standard of other website is 30 minutes, but that's too long. It only takes 5 minutes to get most of the heavy metals from oral cavites anyway and I personally don't see any more needs. Other personal feelings is that sesame seed oil is NOT my favorite since they sometimes use huge steel drums to extract the oil and the oil may acquire undo heavy metals from the stainless steel drums, which might be high in nickel. I would much prefer a simple refined sunflower oils or even olive oil. People without gallbladder IS contraindicated however if they insist to do it, then granulated lecithin one tablespoon is taken immediately after oil pulling to help oil clearance or excess oil buildup in the body.

9. I see a lot of Baking soda is recommended. Does this interfere with blood pressure?

Most people with high blood pressure actually is due to acidosis, constipation, high sugar intakes and eating oily fatty foods from french fries, potato chips, cheese, pizza, salami sandwiches, bologna, late night snacks, heavy meals in the dinner time, the use of common TABLE SALT and other nasty habit as being the major cause. A high sodium retention can only occur in those situation as the body is completey stressed out desperately maintains sodium to protect its alkalinity. Sodium if you remember your high school chemistry is an alkaline metals. Thusly, I can even cause most people to go into a low pressure just by giving sodium alone if the following remedies were done: 1 tablespoon of sea salt plus 1 tablespoon of baking soda in 1 glass of water. This will initiated a diarrhea response causing a lower blood pressure. On the other hand I can cause a high blood pressure, but causing the person with just 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 tablespoon of any low boiling temperature cooking vegetable oils (not coconut oil as it is very high temperature). The body will get stressed and becomes instanly acid, and starts to sodium retention.

Therefore, a more better formula if you can get all the materials, and is a perfectionist is ideally 2 tablespoons of lemon juice plus 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda and 1/8 teaspoon of potassium bicarbonate in at least 1/2 glass of water. The reason why potassium was removed from the remedy is that people can't get the potassium and that the potassium is ALREADY THERE in the lemon juice and in the apple cider vinegar remedy, potassium is there too. Hope this clears up this problem. People keep asking me this again and again.

Generally very sensitive people just the baking soda would be better initially, if done only for the first two weeks, then they can upgrade themselves to acv+baking soda once the body have sufficient bicarbonates in their body.

As to the wait, it can be done without the wait. Oil pulling is preferably done BETWEEN BRUSHING OF TEETH ONLY and it is done 5 minutes should be sufficient for heavy metal pulling.

11. Does OP remove friendly flora or intestinal enzymes? Can OP cause candida growth?

If it is done between brushing of teeth and only 5 minutes, only heavy metals are removed without affecting both friendly flora OR intestinal enzymes. That's the real beauty of oil pulling done for 5 minutes and between brushing of teeth. Nevertheless, I can't stress enough that baking soda and lemon/baking soda and acv is used, or that peppermint is added into oil pulling to minimized the heat during the pulling. Toothpaste companies have used peppermint oil mostly for a long long time, so it appears they knew about this problem too.

12. Are there any know drug interactions from using OP and baking soda? I use saline inhalers, norvasc for BP, sometimes nexium and xanax for anxiety. Currently on Bactrum antibiotic for sinus. I also take Bovine extract, enzymes and herbal supplements.

Improper oil pulling is what creates the problem with or without other medications.

13. Is it ok to do the baking soda, ACV and water drink and then do the mouthwash with ½ tsp Baking soda, ½ cup water and 1 or 2 drops of peppermint oil and then brush my teeth and eat my meal? (no OP with this). How long should I wait before eating?

Baking soda, if taken first and 30 minutes times is allotted before eating. People's preference for the number of drops of peppermint oil varies so I can't say the exactness of oil, but some people including me may use more than 1 or 2 drops. The issue is whether heat for felt or not and it should be cool enough to kill the viruses more effectively. This is one other reason why pepperimint oil should be added more. It is more feeling that adding more peppermint oil will kill more viruses effectively as the menthol contents react and kill off the viral proteins. That was mentioned in the classic book, "The Practice of Aromatherapy".

14. I take something called Seacure Hydrolyzed white fish supplement 20 minutes before eating. Is there a problem taking this after I get the ACV/BS mixture down?

The apple cide vinegar should be synergistic with the protein introduced from whichever dietary fishes. The acetate portion of the vinegar seems to help with protein and amino acid utilization and detoxification of the liver.

15. The 2TP of ACV and ½ Tsp baking soda mixture is strong going down. Can this be put in a quart of water and taken throughout the day instead of in ½ cup of water?

You can put ANY amount of water to dilute this to reduce the strong tastes. However, it should be used before the day is out otherwise such diluted solution may spoil.

16. You mention OP might deplete minerals and a supplement should be taken once to twice a month. Since it is difficult to know what minerals are being depleted, what mineral supplement can you recommend?

Yes any general mineral supplement would be sufficient, but the preferential supplements should be in softgel form or if tablet form it should dissolve in a glass of water within 15 minutes. If not, the tablets or the supplements is entirely useless. The tricalcium phosphate and magnesium stearate (wax) added prevent the absorption of the minerals and companies know that, but they are not going change their ways. This is softgels are preferred, but if need be grinding those giant tablets to powdered form and dissolve in a glass of water increase their bioavailability. I have noted for many times of desperate parents trying to raise zinc levels in autistic children for years unsuccessfully by zinc supplementation, until it was learned that the powdered form or at least grinding the tablet to powdered form did raise the zinc after years of unsuccessful supplementation. So the problems of bioavailability more than the form or kinds of mineral.

17. Metabolic blood testing showed beginning stages of chronic kidney disease. Can Oil pulling help this? CAL EDta injections pass thru the kidneys and excrete through the urine. If Oil pulling is used will heavy metals still pass through the urine?

Baking soda remedy alone and getting urinary pH to 7, and drinking 1/4 teaspoon of REAL sea salt will be helpful to the kidney, but Calcium EDTA should be discontinued until the kidney is NORMAL. Calcium EDTA is contraindicated in event of kidney infections, high urinary Proteins, or even IBS. In simple words: no calcium EDTA injections should be performed if this is the base (which it is).

18. What natural remedy can I use to help build up my kidneys to avoid further deterioration?

Yes stop the Calcium EDTA first. See 17. Treat the IBS and kidneys first.

19. Does all this ACV or Baking soda hurt the kidneys? How long should one keep up the ACV and Baking soda?

Actually baking soda is very kidney friendly and so is the 1/4 teaspoon of REAL SEA SALT (NO table salt!!!!!) in one liter of ALL drinking water. I have an aunt completely cured of kidney infections after taking baking soda ALONE for only three days. She was scheduled to have her kidneys removed on the third days. However that remedy was totally insufficient (my aunt hardly listen to me anyway) and a sea salt should at least be added to the drinking water. However in even of Calcium EDTA therapy, calcium clearance may be needed. In this case a lemon and baking soda is preferred as the citrate will remove the excess calcium too.

Hopefully this should clear up some of the misunderstandings associated with OP, EDTA, UTI and kidney infections! "

SCALP ISSUES

06/23/2007: BP writes: "I think that I may have a heavy metal problem and I also take levothyroxin for hypothyroid. My hair is more and more thin. I also have a strange almost crawling/tingling feeling on my scalp and it is also itchy at times. I would like to know if I can take iodine internally or if painting would be better and I am also curious about the heavy metal cure and the lavendar and tea tree oil. I would like to know specifically what, how much and how often I should do each"

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "BP: A more direct way to deal with thyroid problem is the iodine and vitamin A (which is related to thyroid function too). Usually natural forms of iodine are easier to deal with, such as kelp capsule supplements, 1-3 times a day, 5 days out of a week, and vitamin A 2 or 3 times a week. The amount of iodine the body actually requires is actually quite large necessary to reverse the thyroid, so I would imagine, using iodine tincture as a mouthwash to get rid of bacteria and bad breath such as 4-8 drops of iodine in a glass of water so kill the bacteria is a more viable method, along with the iodine foot painting. Iodine has a cleansing effect by removing bacteria attached to body's organs, such as glands and may cause temporary acne, but is should be of a short term problem. Once the body has sufficient iodine, then the thyroid issue should be reduced.

A heavy metals problems can be dealt with by usually by taking chlorella supplements 5 days out of 7 days which results in minimum problems of a flare up and reduces heavy metal buildup. Certain lead, can be removed I think with some oral EDTA and some iron, by drinking green tea (no sugar, no fructose, no milk). Other chelators such as cilantro (chinese parsley), small handfuls taken twice or three times a week is helpful.

One interesting fact I find is a small pinch of disodium EDTA added to a glass of drinking water, can reduce the free heavy metals from the urine by attaching them to the EDTA, so that they won't be reactive or accumulate in the body. Most free heavy metals have a charge and sticks to cell walls inside your body and the EDTA reduces that charge and allowing the body to rid of easier, thus reducing the body's free radicals.

As to the scalp problem, a lavender and tea tree oil applied generously over the head 2 or 3 times a week (leave it overnight before removing them) should get rid of fungus issue, but I to solve the root cause of the problem, 2 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar plus 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda taken twice a day, should increase the body's pH, and the scalp problem should reduce over a matter of two weeks. Borax used as a shampoo can deal with the matter quicker, by doing the shampoo to 3 times a week as borax also have strong antifungus properties.

To make a borax shampoo preparation, in 1 glass of water, 1 tablespoon of borax dissolved and using that as shampoo should be sufficient."

CHLORELLA AND CILANTRO

05/31/2007: PD writes: "Why do some not suggest chlorella as if it causes metals that are in hiding to come out and deposit in a worse location? A lot of holistic doctors say chlorella and cilantro work well for removing metals. Some say it causes the metals to be displaced and metals are not eliminated properly and could actually make them go into areas that would be worse than where they are hidden. The metallic taste I had is gone thank goodness. I still am kind of wondering why it happened. If it is from having a copper overload, what exactly should I do to keep copper from accumulating? I think it was just something in the pudding though maybe too much artificial things. Im not too sure though. Thank you for helping me!"

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "It is easy to tell whether chelators work or not, if you have a heavy metal kits for urine, it shows up. But when removing too much the metals increase too much load for the body to remove. This is why chlorella is used for only 4-5 days out of a week, since the body's ability to rid of heavy metals has a limited capacity. This has worked well in autistics that were caused by mercury vaccination poisoning, so I would know. It chelates because industries use them to remove heavy metals in chemical solutions. Whenever the sugar free pudding is taken certain artificial sweeteners raise the body's acidity allowing metallic taste also."

CHLORELLA AND COPPER

05/20/2007: PD writes: "Hi, I need your help figuring out whats causing a metal sour taste in my mouth and on my tongue. It happened after I ate some sugar free pudding that consisted of vanilla and apples in a gel that had nutmeg and cinnamon in it. Its very strong. It has been a few days since and I still have a metallic taste in my mouth. I know its the pudding because it only happened immediately after eating it and it tasted a little metallic. Do you think I will be okay? Could this be a reaction to an ingredient or metal poisoning? What should I do other than what I have done. I have brushed, gargled with peroxide and listerine, brushed my tongue, I even drank and swished liquid chlorophyll. Please help me figure it out I will try anything. Thank you!"

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "The metallic tastes if it is pudding usually they are high in copper and bromine. The bromine reduces the body's iodine. A bad batch of pudding or cocoa can even be high in cadmium. If the copper theory is a correct one, than a zinc supplements will displace the copper. If bromine theory is a correct one, then the iodine kelp should displace the bromine issue. Or 2-4 drops in 1/2 glass of water using iodine tincture as a mouthwash can also displace the bromine. In general, chlorella supplements taken taken for a couple of days, 5 days out of a week should reduce the heavy metal buildup thus reducing the metallic taste by chelation. You also did not mention using oil pulling to remove heavy metals, or even eat some chinese parsley which remove heavy metals too. Getting the body sufficiently alkaline can also reduce metallic taste as it acts as a weak soap allowing the body to rid of some metals easier. Sometimes the body cannot utilize the copper buildup in the body and taking 1000 mg of sodium ascorbate vitamin C or rose hits can increase their bioavailability reducing the metallic taste at the same time. Taking granulated powdered lecithin one tablespoon a day makes the metal more soluble in water, and helps remove free heavy metals also"

ANY SUPPLEMENT THAT HEPLS EXCRETE EXCESS COPPER

PD writes: "Okay, so I guess I can use chlorella. Is there something to keep copper from building up if someone has copper overload? Or are you saying chlorella helps that? Any other supplement that helps excrete excess copper?"

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "Zinc supplements displaces copper as it is antagonistic. Chlorella chelates most heavy metals by grabbing them, green tea also chelates certain iron and other metals, but it is done differently, and the effect is quite fast if you use this as a green tea mouthwash, but it does more effectively with iron usually. The key is not to use milk or add sugar in green tea, or else it won't work. Copper rich foods is found in cocoa, defective water filter and old faucets, chocolates, acidosis can raise the body's copper level, vitamin C sodium ascorbate can utilize them and help stabilize them somewhat. Frequently people with metallic tastes I found quite frequently to have acid urine and acid saliva, after taking artificial sweeteners and goes away when drinking plenty of water which often flushes out everything. Magnesium supplements lowers the level of toxicity of metals more so by protecting the body from it. If metallic tastes are allowed to run it course, without doing anything it leads to immune suppression, which can manifest itself with all kinds of disease once the immune barriers are down."
