[SIDE EFFECTS]  12/16/2009: Shannon from Ottawa, On writes: "I had an ultrasound done about a month ago, that showed a kidney stone in each kidney, around 4mm. They were not causing any pain. I then went home to research kidney stones as i didn't know much about them, and found myself terrified to find that they are associated with horrible pain, worse than childbirth!

I came across this website and decided to give it a try. What I did was squeeze some fresh lemon juice (approx. 8 ounces) and i drank it over about an hours time. I also had a couple spoonfuls of Olive Oil with my dinner. I drank about 1 liter of water in the couple hours following this.

Felt nothing at first, then about 4 hours later got bad stomach cramping and had diarrhea. Was also nauseous. Cramping remained for about an hour. Then had urge to pee and went. Didn't see anything.

No idea if this did anything for my stones...but i guess it didn't agree with my body lol. Will update to say if it worked or not!"

12/17/2009: Shannon from Ottawa, On replies: "3 days later and did not pass any stone or gravel etc"

12/18/2009: Josée from Toronto, On replies: "Kidney stones suck.. I had mine for two weeks now, on and off pain its horrible. Tried the olive oil lemon juice combination and yuck... was nautious all night yesterday and all day. Still have the taste of olive oil in my mouth that I cannot get rid of.

i thought you had to put 2 ounces of olive oil!

yuck!!"

[YEA]  12/11/2009: Bill from Capecod, Ma writes: "Hi. 53 yr old male. Got my first stone out of the blue on Sat. 12/8. Had no idea what was going on, pain was excruciating but stopped after 4 hours. Thought maybe a stone, but when pain stopped I didn't know for sure. No pain at all Sunday or Mon. am. Around 3 pm Mon. pain started again, more gradual then pretty sore. Called my primary-sent me to ER. IV killed pain, CT scan said 4MM stone. Go home and drink, with percocet for pain. Drank Mon night, all day Tues, probably 2 gallons, all morning Wed. no pain, no stone passed. Found this site and said what the hell. Mixed and drank the Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Lemon Juice, 2oz,each at 2:30 Pm. Kept drinking water all evening and through the night, whenever I had to get up to urinate. Got up Thurs. 5:15 am, urinated (what else) had breakfast, still no pain no stone. About 6:30 am had urge to urinate, after having gone 15 mins. earlier, out pops stone, completely painlessly!! I have no idea if it was the mix or the 3 days of water, but whatever it was it worked. I am probably the most skeptical person you could find re: home remedies, but as someone else said, give it a try, what do you have to lose (except a stone!)"

[YEA]  12/11/2009: James from Buenos Aires, Argentina writes: "My wife had 2 very bad kidney stone attacks, both times landing in hospital.Tried to find something on the net and landed here. After reading the proposed cures I decided to get her to try olive oil and lemon, as it was the treatment that had the most positive answers. I mixed her same parts olive oil, any brand, and lemon, just following the general instructions. Lots of water after the drink.

The results were amazing, she passed a gelatinlike thing which we suppose was the stone and got instant relief.

After 5 days she started to look green when she saw the olive oil, but kept taking it 2x a week for a month. We have no proper way of thanking all of you, the result was a resounding succes. Thanks"

[YEA]  12/06/2009: Catherine from New Hope, Pa writes: "Lemon Juice and Olive Oil worked

I noticed that I was getting lower back pain for no reason, and it kept getting worse. I was having problems getting to sleep because of the terrible pain. I thought that it could be kidney stones, so I went to your site to see if there was a treatment. I gave it a try and was delighted when the pain subsided. I'm still drinking the Lemon juice/olive oil, and everyday I'm feeling better. Thank you for this wonderful site."

12/03/2009: Brandon K from West Memphis, Arkansas, united states writes: "hey i just found this website and i want people to know that this has been more helpful to me than anything or anybody else i have contacted about kidney stones. i have had stones since 2005 and i am suffering from the pain as i type. i'm sitting on a heating pad. its helping a little, but after reading all the info you can bet your bottom dollar when i get off work today i will be stopping by the store to get me some oliver oil and lemon juice and giving it a try. it sounds like to me it is going to work. other sites also have suggested 3 to 4 apples a day for a week and then the lemon juice and olive oil for 2 days after to clean the system completely out. i dont know i'm willing to try anything. i do not wish kidney stones on my worst enemy. i have more respect for him than that. i was raised by a drill sergeant and was raised to show no pain or emotion. but the first time i passed a kidney stone i cried like a baby because i have never expericened that kinda pain. but now i know the pain when it comes on. but i will try the lemon juice and olive oil and keep the forum informed on how it works. thanks for all the input that everybody has done. its helped me alot. peace and may god be with us all.. brandon"

[YEA]  11/11/2009: John from Fairhaven, Ma writes: "Another satisfied customer here, 50 y.o. male. I woke up yesterday morning with excruciating pain centered on the lower right flank of my back. I was also not able to urinate as I normally would and the pressure kept building up. After googling a few pages I was able to find the Earth Clinic site and with over two hundred Yeas for the Olive Oil & Lemon Juice treatment I decided to give it a try. I mixed Two Ounces of Extra Virgin Oil with Two Ounces of store brand Lemon Juice concentrate which I was able to keep down. I also took two over the counter Naproxen Sodium pain killers and drank two eight ounce glasses of water.

Within a half of and hour the pain had subsided somewhat although I still couldn't urinate. Throughout the course of the day I took several Hot showers focusing the hot water on my right rear flank. Additionally, I would jump up and down and shake it all about vigorously to dislodge the stone which eventually allowed me to urinate a bit. As the day progressed I would continue to drink more water (some with Lemon Juice added) with the result being that the pressure would build up, the pain would increase and I would return to the hot shower and jump about until I was able to relive myself.

At about 6 PM I drank another 2 Ounces of Olive Oil and 2 ounces of Lemon juice as I was convinced the treatment was working. Approximately a half hour later I threw up. By 8 PM my ability to urinate (almost normally) returned to my great relief and the pain had virtually disappeared. At bedtime I took another two OTC Naproxen Sodium pills just to be sure and over the course of the night I woke up several times to urinate, each time more freely than the last. I woke up this morning pain free and have taken one more shot of the Olive Oil/Lemon Juice mixture just to make sure I'm all cleared out.

This treatment absolutely worked for me and I am very thankful to have found out about it. THANK YOU!!"

[YEA]  10/30/2009: Kim from Bethlehem, Ga writes: "I used to get kidney stones all the time but by age 50 I was tired of going to hospital being sent home medicated for pain and paying a small fortune for the "treatment". then I learned about squeezing 4 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice and mixing it with an equal amount of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. This is to be swallowed all at once and followed by a large glass of water. Usually within 24 hours, the stones will come out on their own while urinating, sometimes broken down into a little pile of what looks like sand. Take this concoction at the first signs of (what is for many of us) the all too familiar lower back pain."

[NAY]  10/27/2009: Jeffrey from San Jose, Ca writes: "I took the Olive Oil/Lemon Juice treatment for my kidney stone. I wish that I could say that it has given me any degree of relief at all. It has not. I tried it for 3 days hoping for any diminishment in the pain as an indicator that it was starting to work. I blended 2 ozs of each three times a day. Easy to do. Fairly easy to swallow. Certainly cheap enough. But there was not a drop in pain at all. Maybe the size of my stone(1.5 cms) was also factor in the failure of this remedy. I don't think that I saw a single stone that was as large. Still after 3 days you would think that there would be something of a change after all the positive testimonials that I read last week. I have ordered an online product as a last ditch remedy before I submit to ESWL."

10/29/2009: Miguel from Carson, California replies: "i had a UTI about a month ago and took antibiotics for it. the discomfort went away after a few days. about four days later i began to feel discomfort in my lower right abdomen. i have no health insurance so i did some reading online and came to the conclusion that i developed a kidney infection due to the UTI not clearing up completely. i began taking antibiotics for this and it seemed to start to clear up. then last night i began to get short, stabbing pains in the upper right area of my groin. i did more reading and learned that this may be a sign that a kidney stone could be working its way down the urethra. that the sharp pain was the urethra pulsating as the stone moved down...causing the sharp pains. the pains happened about every three to five minutes and didnt last more than a few seconds. i did the "jump and bump" method to try and help it move along. after almost an hour the pains stopped..so im guessing the stone is in the bladder now.

my question is..can this really be a kidney stone since i've had no other sympton such as pain in the back or chills or other symptoms associated with kidney stone passing? since im not even sure if this is a stone or not..i'm having doubts about getting started on the lemon and olive oil method.

one thing i've noticed is that almost everyone here were already in pain when they turned to the lemon and olive oil method. has anyone started using this before any pain set in? if so were you able to pass the stone without any pain at all?

if i do have stones they are more than likely struvite stones since all this happened soon after i had a UTI. will the lemon and olive oil method work on these?"

11/10/2009: Kathleen from Lynbrook, Ny, USA replies: "Your story mimics absolutely mimics mine. Had all the typical UTI symptoms. Doctor diagnosed an infection in office but days later, called that the lab found blood in urine with no bacteria. I was advised to see a gyno. No problem there. Problem solved a week later.....kidney stones."

[YEA]  09/29/2009: Junk from Louisville, Ky writes: "A huge "YEA" to this remedy,

2 oz olive oil and 2 oz. lemon juice for Kidney Stones/Pain.

If you are reading this try it, it works like a charm.

I had kidney pain/stones and in severe pain for 3 weeks and was desperate, severe pain for three weeks.

Although I completely doubted what the simple and safe olive oil and lemon juice mix could possibly have to do with your kidneys, with the many positive ratings I decided to try it.

I drank about 1.5 oz. olive oil and 2 oz. of fresh lemon juice mixed, very important to "mix" so it wont taste too bad.

Results: I felt a little nausea about an hour later.

Then a strange creepy feeling in my gut about 3 hrs later, it felt like "Alien" in my kidneys, I even felt something moving in my good kidney on the other side.

Then I had strange repeated urges to piss.

I didn't piss a stone that I know of, but my chronic 3 weeks of severe kidney pain disappeared ! I could barely get out of bed the day before, and the next mourning was pain free !

Since I took only one dose and had "miraculous" results, I will definitely repeat in a day or two to finish the job.

If you have pain anywhere near Kidneys, TRY THIS FIRST.

It WORKS MAGIC ON KIDNEY STONES !!!

It is basically salad dressing, how it has such an effect on your kidneys I don't know, but trust me it works !

Beats the heck out of paying the ER for painkillers and a surgery!"

[BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS]  09/23/2009: Brenda from Livermore, Ca writes: "How many times should I take the lemon juice and EVOO for the kidney stone issue?

Been taking the EVOO and the lemon juice (2 oz of each mixed together). How many times per day seemed to work for people? My stone was a left renal stone lodged way up in kidney. Was scheduled to have surgery last thursday, however, got really sick so couldn't do the surgery. Would much rather pass it on my own. I took the concoction Saturday (morning and night) then Sunday (morning and night) and Monday three times and Tuesday Morning only. I have small bits of gravel (very very tiny) coming out in strainer, and on Monday the pain was severe. Haven't had pain up until this point, so maybe the stone is rollin on down and out? Any advice how long I need to take it? Supposedly I have at least a 7MM stone. Doctor resisted my theory it was stone (I only had bleeding when I exercised, no pain until this past Monday), and sent me for all kinds of cancer tests. As LAST RESORT, he sent me for CT scan and was surprised to find kidney stone. Please advise how long I need to take the stuff. It's been cleaning out I think my gallbladder too, so for the last two days been in bed and bathroom only. Kind of frustrating when one works for a living."

[BETTER BUT NOT CURED]  09/12/2009: Emile from New York City, Ny writes: "So far so good... I've been struggling with a stone for the past two days now. Didn't want to admit it at first, too many bad memories of my agonizing trip to the ER 4 years ago. Soon though, the pain in my groin was accompanied by that familiar ache in my lower back...Panic set in. Dug around on the web for an hour or so before I found this site, (kept seeing sites that were CHARGING $$$ to give up their great kidney stone home remedies) and began to get discouraged, thinking I was in for another trip to the ER WITHOUT health insurance.

This afternoon, before I even found this site I picked up a nice filet of Sole for dinner and ended up buying 7 lemons to cook it with! I had read about asparagus as a natural diuretic and also bought some rather dubious looking "kidney health" pills. Anyway, cooked the sole with lemon, white wine, shallots and butter, and ate a whole bunch of asparagus. Didn't help much, but then again I wasn't expecting miracles. Then, found thid site and decided I may as well cut up the remaining 4 lemons and drink it down with some EVOO. NASTY to drink, actually gagged a bit on the EVOO, (didn't really measure, just dumped in a shot glass or so)...laid down and tried to read, felt a little bit of stirring in kidneys groin...about 30 minutes later had a massive pee, and no pain at all!

30 hour after that pee I feel like I have to go again, and sitting here typing, I am having a bit of discomfort in my right marble.(sorry :) And the "I have to pee but nothing will come out" feeling is back. :( Guess I need another dose."

[YEA]  09/12/2009: Eric from Greenville, Sc writes: "The 2 oz lemon and 2 oz olive oil works. I tried it 2 hours ago and captured the stones just now. No pain.

I took some lemon with water the first night after the excrutiating pain without knowing what it was and I was well the whole day. The second night I tried the lemon but went to the ER. They gave me a lot of pain medication, idetified the size (4 mm) and sent me to the urologist. He recommended the ESWL treatment and I did it. I would have preffered to do the lemon and olive oil treatment first. I use to sell chemicals to prevent calcium oxalate deposits in paper mills and citric acid (a component of lemon juice) was used very often. There is science behind it."

6mm stone and I couldn't believe that this really worked on it. I went to the hospital 2:00PM yesterday they did a CAT scan and told my I had a 6mm (1/4") kidney stone. Felt like I was having labor pains & sick to my stomach couldn't keep anything down, one minute I would be sweating the next I would be freezing, absolutely could not be still, excruciating pain, it started about 6:00AM that morning in my lower left back moving around to my left side then to left front then it just stopped. I had one about 3 years ago a 2mm one, so I figured that I knew what it was. When it didn't move for 4 hours I went to the hospital, they put an IV in gave me some pain & nausea meds. did the CAT scan and sent me home with my little screen pan to tinkle in and watch for stone. They said I might pass it and I might not since it was that large. I had to take pain meds. every 3 hours to keep the pain down. I saw this web site this evening and mixed me up 2oz lemon juice and 2 oz olive oil (gross), I had to hold my nose to drink it, I also drank 4-10oz glasses of water right after. Within 2 hours I passed the stone it was 1/4 inch oval. YEA! Thank you so much for this web site I'll be back and I'll tell all my friends about it."

[YEA]  08/18/2009: Vernatod from Banks, Oregon writes: "My adult son was suffering from a kidney stone causing blockage resulting in continual pain and difficult and painful urination. Due to a job change and some paper work mix up he is temporarily (we hope) without health insurance and I think he would be close to death before he would get medical attention. Anyway, I discovered your web site and encouraged him to try the lemon juice/olive oil remedy. He took two ounces of lemon juice with two ounces of olive oil two or three times about eight hours apart. About 24 hours after the first dose something changed a bit and although there was still pain, he was able to urinate more freely. After two days, he could tell that the stone had moved a couple inches and on the third day he passed the stone without further pain. Of course we are not completely sure that this was the result of the remedy, but I will surely try it myself if the need arises. Myself and three chidren have all had kidney stones in the past and had them removed by doctors. Those removal procedures were very painful themselves and I will avoid them if possible"

[NAY]  09/04/2009: Mitchell C from Nashville, Tn Usa replies: "I've been using Lemon Juice/Olive Oil combo for 2 months now and was sad to see my x-ray this past Monday reveal the stone has not moved in over a month! It has reached only about 1/4 of the way down my left ureter, and just seems to be stuck. It is less than 5mm but it won't go! My urine specimen revealed NO blood cells, and I have had only a little bit of pain every so often. I've had stones before this, but this is a very strange time. I've ordered some Chanca Piedra tincture and plan to try that... who knows. I am very discouraged. I'm self-employed, and having had stones before, I am in a PRE-EXISTING, EXCLUSIONARY STATUS according to my health Insurance company. So ANYTHING I do, whether diagnostically or procedurally I have absolutely no coverage. My Urologist told me the other day that he would give me 3 months to see if anything passes, and after that he recommends doing a cystoscope/laser removal, leaving me with a stent for a while... "because since you have no insurance, that's the cheapest alternative to ESWL"... what a guy!"

[YEA]  08/09/2009: Crissi from Dalls, Tx writes: "I used the lemon juice/olive oil remedy for kidney stones. An hour or so after the pain set in I drank a mixture of 1/4 cup Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil and cheap lemon juice concentrate (the kind tht comes in the plastic bottle shaped like a lemon). I had to add 1/4 cup of orange juice to balance the acidity (it was too much even with my nose plugged) and 2 ice cubes because the lukewarm temperature was distasteful to me. I followed this with about 16 ounces of purified water (reverse osmosis). The pain resumed. About 2 hours later I did the "bump exercise" from this website. http://www.jumpandbump.com/
I followed the directions and after about the 10th set of "bumps" I immediately felt relief and the urge to urinate. I passed a small, soft, almost mucousy mass about the size of an eraser and then more smaller pieces the next time I urinated. I have felt perfectly normal since. I think that maybe the oo/lemon juice mixture worked on breaking down the stone and then the exercise helped move it down more quickly? I don't know for sure but I felt like I was in active labor, with pain wrapping from my kidney to my abdomen and within hours of ingesting the remedy and moments of completing the instructions on the previously mentioned website I was finally able to release a respectable amount of pee and have felt perfectly normal ever since!!!"

07/27/2009: Joanbaloney from Gardiner, NY writes: "will olive oil/lemon juice mix help kidney stones that are still in kidneys? I've read many of the YEAS for the olive oil and lemon juice remedy for kidney stones, but they all seem to discuss starting the remedy after the stone starts to work its way down the ureter.

I passed a small stone a few weeks ago with excruciating pain. I continued to have discomfort in my left kidney area so I went to get it checked out and they found I have one stone in each kidney, 2-3mm each. So far they're not trying to get out, but I sure would like to get rid of them!

My question is, if I start with the 2 oz each olive oil/lemon juice remedy now, is it likely to help move them from the kidneys or do I need to wait until I feel the pain symptom of one starting down the pipe, so to speak, before I start drinking the concoction?"

[YEA]  07/24/2009: Shawn Ng from Singapore writes: "Lemon + olive oil = Its works

Yea... I woke up on 13/7/09 and felt severe pain at my left lower back. I was on my way to exercise and had to return home because of the pain. At midnight the pain became unbearable and I went to the A&E. They tested my urine and suspected me of having kidney stones. I was then sent home and given two boxes of pain relief and asked to see a specialist ..appt fixed at two weeks later.

Because of the long queue , i couldn't wait any more, I was in deep pain. I saw a private specialist the next day, and was given a x ray and CT scan immediately. That cause me s$500. The urologist confirmed from the scan that I had a 3mm stone causing me the pain.

I was asked to go back and drink a lot of water and continued with the pain killers and wait for the stone to pass out..

I am at a loss..don't know what to do... medically it doesn't seem to help me...I was also worried about the high cost of surgery. I search the web for information. I came to this site, and tried out the lemon juice and olive oil cocktail.

After taking a few doses (once a day) .... the pain is greatly reduced... few days later the pain is gone.I also drink apple juice to soften the stones.

I did pass out some sandy particles and feel that my urine flow is much stronger and light coloured now. I begin to increase my intake of water daily and now feel so much better. I already stop all the medication.

A very sincere thanks to you guys and gals for sharing such a valuable information.

Try the lemon juice and olive oil cocktail if you have kidney stones...If u are afraid at least try one OZ lemon and one OZ olive oil ...just try out..

May all sentient beings be free from pain and suffering....
