[YEA]  09/12/2009: Eric from Greenville, Sc writes: "The 2 oz lemon and 2 oz olive oil works. I tried it 2 hours ago and captured the stones just now. No pain.

I took some lemon with water the first night after the excrutiating pain without knowing what it was and I was well the whole day. The second night I tried the lemon but went to the ER. They gave me a lot of pain medication, idetified the size (4 mm) and sent me to the urologist. He recommended the ESWL treatment and I did it. I would have preffered to do the lemon and olive oil treatment first. I use to sell chemicals to prevent calcium oxalate deposits in paper mills and citric acid (a component of lemon juice) was used very often. There is science behind it."

6mm stone and I couldn't believe that this really worked on it. I went to the hospital 2:00PM yesterday they did a CAT scan and told my I had a 6mm (1/4") kidney stone. Felt like I was having labor pains & sick to my stomach couldn't keep anything down, one minute I would be sweating the next I would be freezing, absolutely could not be still, excruciating pain, it started about 6:00AM that morning in my lower left back moving around to my left side then to left front then it just stopped. I had one about 3 years ago a 2mm one, so I figured that I knew what it was. When it didn't move for 4 hours I went to the hospital, they put an IV in gave me some pain & nausea meds. did the CAT scan and sent me home with my little screen pan to tinkle in and watch for stone. They said I might pass it and I might not since it was that large. I had to take pain meds. every 3 hours to keep the pain down. I saw this web site this evening and mixed me up 2oz lemon juice and 2 oz olive oil (gross), I had to hold my nose to drink it, I also drank 4-10oz glasses of water right after. Within 2 hours I passed the stone it was 1/4 inch oval. YEA! Thank you so much for this web site I'll be back and I'll tell all my friends about it."

[YEA]  08/18/2009: Vernatod from Banks, Oregon writes: "My adult son was suffering from a kidney stone causing blockage resulting in continual pain and difficult and painful urination. Due to a job change and some paper work mix up he is temporarily (we hope) without health insurance and I think he would be close to death before he would get medical attention. Anyway, I discovered your web site and encouraged him to try the lemon juice/olive oil remedy. He took two ounces of lemon juice with two ounces of olive oil two or three times about eight hours apart. About 24 hours after the first dose something changed a bit and although there was still pain, he was able to urinate more freely. After two days, he could tell that the stone had moved a couple inches and on the third day he passed the stone without further pain. Of course we are not completely sure that this was the result of the remedy, but I will surely try it myself if the need arises. Myself and three chidren have all had kidney stones in the past and had them removed by doctors. Those removal procedures were very painful themselves and I will avoid them if possible"

[NAY]  09/04/2009: Mitchell C from Nashville, Tn Usa replies: "I've been using Lemon Juice/Olive Oil combo for 2 months now and was sad to see my x-ray this past Monday reveal the stone has not moved in over a month! It has reached only about 1/4 of the way down my left ureter, and just seems to be stuck. It is less than 5mm but it won't go! My urine specimen revealed NO blood cells, and I have had only a little bit of pain every so often. I've had stones before this, but this is a very strange time. I've ordered some Chanca Piedra tincture and plan to try that... who knows. I am very discouraged. I'm self-employed, and having had stones before, I am in a PRE-EXISTING, EXCLUSIONARY STATUS according to my health Insurance company. So ANYTHING I do, whether diagnostically or procedurally I have absolutely no coverage. My Urologist told me the other day that he would give me 3 months to see if anything passes, and after that he recommends doing a cystoscope/laser removal, leaving me with a stent for a while... "because since you have no insurance, that's the cheapest alternative to ESWL"... what a guy!"

[YEA]  08/09/2009: Crissi from Dalls, Tx writes: "I used the lemon juice/olive oil remedy for kidney stones. An hour or so after the pain set in I drank a mixture of 1/4 cup Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil and cheap lemon juice concentrate (the kind tht comes in the plastic bottle shaped like a lemon). I had to add 1/4 cup of orange juice to balance the acidity (it was too much even with my nose plugged) and 2 ice cubes because the lukewarm temperature was distasteful to me. I followed this with about 16 ounces of purified water (reverse osmosis). The pain resumed. About 2 hours later I did the "bump exercise" from this website. http://www.jumpandbump.com/
I followed the directions and after about the 10th set of "bumps" I immediately felt relief and the urge to urinate. I passed a small, soft, almost mucousy mass about the size of an eraser and then more smaller pieces the next time I urinated. I have felt perfectly normal since. I think that maybe the oo/lemon juice mixture worked on breaking down the stone and then the exercise helped move it down more quickly? I don't know for sure but I felt like I was in active labor, with pain wrapping from my kidney to my abdomen and within hours of ingesting the remedy and moments of completing the instructions on the previously mentioned website I was finally able to release a respectable amount of pee and have felt perfectly normal ever since!!!"

07/27/2009: Joanbaloney from Gardiner, NY writes: "will olive oil/lemon juice mix help kidney stones that are still in kidneys? I've read many of the YEAS for the olive oil and lemon juice remedy for kidney stones, but they all seem to discuss starting the remedy after the stone starts to work its way down the ureter.

I passed a small stone a few weeks ago with excruciating pain. I continued to have discomfort in my left kidney area so I went to get it checked out and they found I have one stone in each kidney, 2-3mm each. So far they're not trying to get out, but I sure would like to get rid of them!

My question is, if I start with the 2 oz each olive oil/lemon juice remedy now, is it likely to help move them from the kidneys or do I need to wait until I feel the pain symptom of one starting down the pipe, so to speak, before I start drinking the concoction?"

09/04/2009: Mark from Moojoo, Tn replies: "I've seen your comment on Earth Clinic and was wondering what response you received please? Does this remedy work on stones still sitting in the kidneys? Thanks

[YEA]  07/24/2009: Shawn Ng from Singapore writes: "Lemon + olive oil = Its works

Yea... I woke up on 13/7/09 and felt severe pain at my left lower back. I was on my way to exercise and had to return home because of the pain. At midnight the pain became unbearable and I went to the A&E. They tested my urine and suspected me of having kidney stones. I was then sent home and given two boxes of pain relief and asked to see a specialist ..appt fixed at two weeks later.

Because of the long queue , i couldn't wait any more, I was in deep pain. I saw a private specialist the next day, and was given a x ray and CT scan immediately. That cause me s$500. The urologist confirmed from the scan that I had a 3mm stone causing me the pain.

I was asked to go back and drink a lot of water and continued with the pain killers and wait for the stone to pass out..

I am at a loss..don't know what to do... medically it doesn't seem to help me...I was also worried about the high cost of surgery. I search the web for information. I came to this site, and tried out the lemon juice and olive oil cocktail.

After taking a few doses (once a day) .... the pain is greatly reduced... few days later the pain is gone.I also drink apple juice to soften the stones.

I did pass out some sandy particles and feel that my urine flow is much stronger and light coloured now. I begin to increase my intake of water daily and now feel so much better. I already stop all the medication.

A very sincere thanks to you guys and gals for sharing such a valuable information.

Try the lemon juice and olive oil cocktail if you have kidney stones...If u are afraid at least try one OZ lemon and one OZ olive oil ...just try out..

May all sentient beings be free from pain and suffering....

[BETTER BUT NOT CURED]  07/24/2009: JJS from Walla Walla, Wa writes: "My wife started to have exscrutiating pains and having gone the the hospital for a severe UTI ten days earlier just to have the same terrible reoccurring pains after finishing her anti biotic.

Second trip to the ER and an appointment with a urologist later it was determined by a ct scan that a 5mm stone was making its way down the left uteror. Was prescribed Flowmax and still had hydrocodone from the uti.

The hydrocodone did little to nothing for this pain, she was writhing and pacing our hall for relief, it was abundantly clear further doctors visits wouldn't yield anything but a pat on the head and a hope it will pass in time.

There had to be relief somewhere, found this site and the ingenious feedback for different tinctures and remedy's.

this being day 5 of this fiasco I am happy to report that taking 2oz lemon juice concentrate and 2 oz Extra Virgin Olive Oil with nose pinched has stopped her pain completely.

She did throw up the contents of her stomach... We tried coke, Heineken, watermelon, tonnes of water, but it ended up with her vomiting cause the pain wouldn't subside.

Just to be safe after throwing up I gave her an table spoon of lemon juice concentrate on her emptied stomach and since she kept that down for an hour loaded her into a hot bathtub and gave her a pain pill.

The pain pill relaxed her enough to sleep in the tub for awhile but... this was about hour three since taking the tincture and an hour after vomiting, the contents didn't look oily oddly enough it looks as if she absorbed enough of the lemon juice to do the magic as this morning shes utterly pain free... just tired.

Gave her a shot glass of the tincture (1 oz each) shes kept it down, which is easier today since theres no pain (duh) lol.

So far. So good. Hoping to see the stone very soon but the RELIEF she experienced this morning is the first relief in days and if your going crazy with this sort of pain do anything.. ANYTHING to take this and keep it down and get comfortable."

[YEA]  07/19/2009: Boyd from West Melbourne, Florida writes: "lemon/olive oil cure

Woke up last week and discovered blood in my urine. No pain but the copious blood was startling. Two days later woke up with severe pain in left lower back. Found myself hyperventilating and exhibiting diaphoresis. At this point knew I had a stone, the pain was similar to what I experienced before passing a stone in 1989. The pain was unbearable, I resorted to drinking several litres of purified water, but only passed blood tinged liquid.

Finally I passed two rice sized particles, did not think they were stones since they did not look at all like what I excreted in 1989. Immediately felt better but was still passing lots of blood urinating. Woke up on day three of this ordeal with serious back pain and the inability to void. Desperate, went to this site and started taking the olive oil/lemon juice concoction. Retired to the bed for two and a half hours, felt a "kick" in my lower back. Went to the toilet and voided three more rice size particles. Pain returned, unfortunately, and tried another four ounces of the "cure". Had to urinate an hour later and passed two more rice sized granules. This time, however, there was no blood in the urine! Felt immediate relief which has lasted until today - a week later. Still voiding normally and am optimistic that I've dodged another bullet, or at least a stone! Good luck to my fellow sufferers, give this remedy a try, I'll be eternally grateful I looked up this site on the internet."

07/14/2009: Carrie from Sheridan, AR writes: "I have been suffering from kidney stones for 14 years! My first one occurred while I was pregnant with my first child, and then more came thereafter. I take Magnesium daily and my urologist prescribed another medication, but I still have stones in my kidneys. One stone on my left side decided to make a move. So, here I am several months later. The past week the pain has been pretty bad, along with spasms. The stone has made its way down to the opening of my urethra, but will not come out! I decided to try the two most popular remedies from this site when I found it. I first tried the apple cider vinegar, because I didn't have any olive oil. Nothing really happened with it, except for a severe tummy ache! The second day my wonderful husband got some olive oil and I drank that concoction (I must say it went down a whole lot smoother than the ACV!). I'm still having a little bit of discomfort and spasms in my kidney. Third day....another dose of olive oil and lemon juice. I can feel the stone wanting to come out! I'm wondering if it will with it being so low? Will the olive oil and lemon juice still work on it? Help! I'm almost ready to go to the doctor...."

07/15/2009: Joy from Middlebury, IN replies: "I learned a long time ago from Lee DuBelle that you must drink a lot of apple juice to soften stones before you try to pass them. If you have an active infection from the stone, you should take Vitamin C to bowel tollerance or enough to create a fever in order to fight off the infection as well. The apple juice softens the stones to cotton batton like consistency and they pass easily that way. I went to the emergency room once with a kidney stone and after that I researched natural ways to pass the stones. Whenever I feel one coming on, I simply drink as much unsweetened apple juice as I can (organic raw is best but any works) until the stone and gracel from forming stones pass."

07/19/2009: Carrie from Sheridan, AR replies: "I ended up in my urologist's office the next day. I could no longer stand the pain. I have always passed all of my stones (several, I might add). This one was lodged in my ureter and it was the size of a small butterbean(1.5 cm). I went in for lithotripsy the next day. I was in horrific pain immediately following the procedure, but I am much better now. I will probably try the lemon juice and olive oil remedy again, but will only do it if I feel pain in my kidney."

[YEA]  07/12/2009: Scooter from Knoxville, TN writes: "Yea! This is the second time I have had to use the lemon juice/olive oil mixture. I used ita couple of years ago and passed several stones. I started having problems a few weeks ago with stones and started using the mixture again. I think I have passes 4 or 5 stones this time on my right side. I must be getting used to the pain because it doesn't hut as bad as my first one more than 15 years ago. It seems like I have a problem about every two years or so. I am going to drink a mixture of the lemon juice/olive oil once a week just to keep myself cleaned out."

07/08/2009: Mitchell from Nashville, TN writes: "Found out I had a small stone in each kidney 1 1/2 weeks ago (4-5mm). I 've had them before over the last 10 years or so... even to the point of 3 lithotripsies. It seems that each time I have a stone I look online to see if there is anything new. I've fallen for a couple of miracle treatments that supposedly "DISSOLVE STONES INSTANTLY"!. I prefer using a natural means of dealing with them, all in an effort to avoid another lithtripsy (or worse). I hear so many conflicting remedies, and am hoping to someday find the one that works for me. My doctor wants me back in for an x-ray in about 3 weeks or so to see what and where. I decided to try the lemon juice/olive oil (only have evoo right now) and can't say that there's been any change yet. I have some pain and darkened urine at times, but... I plan to stay with it at least until the doctor's visit. I'm also doing a mixture of unfiltered organic apple juice/hydrangea root, marchmallow root, ginger root, uva ursa, which I drink about a cup of 4 times a day (along with a lot of water). Seems to make me feel better and definitely keeps urine flowing . Last night before bed I gulped down about 2 ounces each freshly squeezed lemon juice/evoo and this morning I woke up not feeling that great. Strained my urine and found what looked like mucous of some kind, not a stone?! I was wondering if anyone has experienced this and what it might be."

[YEA]  07/05/2009: Gail from Pottersville, NJ writes: "Olive Oil & Lemon Juice for kidney stones: A resounding Yea for this remedy. I woke up early 4th of July morning with excruciating pain in my right side and my back. I knew it was a kidney stone passing because I had them twice before. Waited until 6am to wake my husband up and take me to the ER. They took CT scan and confirmed 3mm kidney stone at the edge of my bladder (and another one in the kidney). They gave me IV pain meds in the ER and Flomax to open the uriter (tube leading into bladder). They gave me a prescription for oxycodone for pain. When I went home I waited until 3pm to take the oxy. but mistakenly took the Flomax again (its supposed to be only once a day). Realized this at 4pm when the pain was not subsiding at all. Took the oxycodone but then went to the web to see if there was anything I could take to help this all along as long as I had overmedicated on the Flomax. I saw the olive oil and lemon juice and decided to try it. My husband mixed 2 oz. light olive oil (not EVOO) with 2 oz. freshly-squeezed lemon juice and put it in a small jar. That was good so I could remix it before I took each sip. Finished that (held my breath while drinking) and then drank 10 oz. of purified bottled water (which I got from a health food store). I laid down and went to sleep until 6pm. I woke up, went downstairs, smiled at my husband for the first time since this episode started and then had a sudden urge to urinate. I saved my urine so I could strain it. It came out really fast, hard and a lot (not like the little bits from earlier in the day). When I strained it, lo and behold my kidney stone was in the bottom of the strainer. Oh happy day!! So bottom line, it took 1 1/2 hours to pass the stone after drinking the olive oil and lemon juice. Now keep in mind, the stone was just at the edge of the bladder so all it needed was a "push." I firmly believe this remedy is what did that. This is my third stone. The first one passed in about 5 hours and the second one took 5 days. So all in all, this one passed pretty quickly. P.S. The stone was the size of a beebee and had a pointy hook on it. Big yea for this remedy. Thank you all. I will definitely use this when the next one pops out (ugh!)"

[YEA]  06/28/2009: Purduerocks2 from West Lafayette, IN writes: "Remedy for kidney stones: 2 oz lemon juice + 2 oz olive oil, followed by 10 oz water.

I am 24 year old male PhD student. I had a kidney stone 6 years ago. I was diagnosed with a 4 mm kidney stone about 10 days ago, in my left kidney. It was quiet for a week and then a week later when trying to pass into the bladder, started creating problems and hurting like hell. I had to take hydrocodone to relieve my pain. Luckily stumbled into this website and for some reason believed that it will work.Tried the remedy once a day for 2 days. Unlike many others who stopped getting pain after they took the concoction, my case was different. I still got pain during the night and had to resort to the pain killer. On follow up, the doctor told me that I had two days to pass the stone otherwise he would refer me to a urologist. The third day, I tried the remedy twice, once in the day and once before going to bed. Still, no change and I got pain during the night. I was a pretty disappointed and thought I should give up on it. The fourth night, I mixed about 2.5 oz of each ingredients and drank them one hour before I went to bed. I had also walked a lot that day, that also helps. I had the best possible sleep, didnt even wake up once, no pain at all during the night. When I woke up at around 8 and peed through the strainer, there it was! The 4 mm stone was out!!Thank you Earth clinic and thank you everyone for sharing their experience. I am really grateful to everyone in this forum and the person who suggested this remedy :)"

Lemon juice and olive oil remedy (about 8 dosages) didn't get it out. I am wondering if it is not calcium oxlate stone, but it could be struvite stone? I haven't had an UTI infection, so not sure if my stone could be struvite. However, I read that to dissolve the struvite stones, the urine has to be acidified. Does anyone know if lemon juice acidifies the urine? Same with ACV? Thanks for any input."

[YEA]  06/23/2009: Jerry from Grand Rapids, Michigan writes: "YEA, it works!!!! I've been in constant pain for 2 weeks, w/ one trip to the ER as I couldn't keep anything down, Not even pain killers. I've been scared that it was too big to pass, as I was told it is 3 cm, about 1". Called today and found it's 3 mm, about 1/8". Nurse had "misspoke" the size while reading the CT report. So I tried to pass/dissolve w/ this formula. I started at midnight as I could take the pain no longer.

I took the 2 oz Extra Virgin Olive Oil blended w/ 2 oz Fresh Lemon juice @ room temp. {it blended nice & smooth} Went DOWN OK & stayed w/ only a mild feeling of nausea. So I laid down to let it work drinking small sips of warm water to clear the oily taste from my mouth. After 15/20 minutes I felt a "warm" feeling go thru my kidneys and the PAIN started to dispel. In one hour the pain was GONE. At 1:30 I could stay awake no longer & went to sleep. The first time I slept thru till morning in weeks, PAIN FREE.

Breakfast as usual, oatmeal w/ honey & cinamon, was really enjoyed w/o the pain. Noon that day I really had to pee Bad and I caught a small white "thing" about 1.5 mm. Soft thing that I squished into the strainer. Stone ??? I don't know. BUT the terrible Pain is Gone!!!! I said "terrible" I am NOT pain free. It feels like I have been "Roto rooted" thruout the kidney area. Probably from that "thing" pulling free for weeks. SOOO, I will take another "dose" of Extra Virgin Olive Oil tonight just to make sure. It will be 48 hour since the first set as I find it hard to believe this can be healthy doing very often. (though if the PAIN came back I might do it oftener}

THANKS for the website and tips.

Hints:: Fresh Squeezed Lemons may have properties the are helpful. Everything at Room Temp makes it go down easier and stay down. {microwave may change propeties} Brisk Blend & Drink from the blender & it goes down easy. One Gulp and don't hold in your mouth.

Room temp. water helps keeps it down, cold water may spasm stomach & bring it up. I took this on an empty stomach!??? May have worked better, faster ???? I'm a fair size person 200#, 2 0z worked for me, you may need more or less per size??? I have Galbladder stones and they stayed strangely quiet thru the cure ???? Now, 36 hrs into the cure they are starting to rumble again. Hence, 2nd time around cure encouragement, maybe, just maybe it'll help them. Will I do this again??? YES daily if necessary!!! If you are in PAIN try it !!!!!!"

[YEA]  06/19/2009: Emmbrooke from Cartersville, Georgia writes: "I am 25 and have had kidney stones since I was 18. I recently had a urinary tract infection for which I was taking antibiotics. Well, a week after I was done with the medicine, I felt some similar symptoms coming back. I thought it was just another UTI. The next day I started having pain in my lower back on the left side. Of course, having kidney stones, I knew what was to come. I had lost my job the week earlier, thinking my insurance had been cancelled, I went online to see if there was a home remedy I could try. Then, I found this website. Of course, I was thinking there was no way this could work, but after reading one success story after another, I thought I would at least give it a try. I mixed 2 oz of lemon juice with 2 oz of extra virgin olive oil together with a wisk, then poured it into a shot glass so it would be easier to drink. I had to hold my nose to drink it, and the after taste was horrible. I didn't have a stomach ache like a lot of people had said. I continued to have some slight pain in my back. I took some ibuprofen and that helped while I was waiting (and hoping) for the lemon juice to work it's magic. That was 2 days ago. This morning I woke up, feeling much better than I have in the past couple of days. I went to the bathroom for my morning pee, but it was just normal. About an hour later, I was taking a shower and washing the privates, and felt something rolling around.(I know it sounds gross) I looked at it and it looked like a little brown stone. I made sure to save it, and after I got out of the shower and got online to see what they actually looked like. I had never actually seen the ones I pased before. It looked exactly like the pictures. I am a firm believer that the lemon juice and olive oil worked for me. I will deffinetely be using this from now on. I still had a small bit of pain, but nothing like what is usually accompanied by the passing of a kidney stone. This really does work, I am so glad I found this site."

Last week I had trouble urinating. I had to go frequently but little came out. About every 2 min. I waited the night through and woke up with a pain in my lower back. I went through the day with tylonol and searched for the closest clinic late that night. They were all closed except for the E.R. I chose to wait it out till morning. I again woke up with excruciating pain in my lower back and side as well as lower abdominal pain. I also was still having trouble urinating properly. I went into the doctor and did lab work on my urine. The doctor said that I definatly have kidney stones with all the symptoms that I had. I don't have health care so I elected to not get the CT scan done therefore I do not know the quantity or size of my stones. He gave me oxycodones for pain and I would have to pass them on my own. The pain killers worked wonders during the painful experience but it had been nine days and only blood had come out. I then started to read this article about home remedies. I seen that everyone on here or atleast about 85% of the people had success from the lemon and olive oil. So I mixed up 2oz. of lemon juice and 2oz. of olive oil and poured about half of it in a shot glass and took it down. I had pain still for about five hours and a new stomach pain that was in a new place and it hurt really bad now too. After five hours the pain all went away and I was just waitng till it came back like it had all ten days. I went through the night without pain and finally in the morning when I woke up that is when the pain had been the worst I had none. That was today and I am amazed by how it worked that I am still waiting for the pains to kick back in. But for now I am so happy I found this site.

Thanks so much for everone who posts their feedback it really gave me the courage to test my skepisism. I hope that I am cured. Thanks!"

06/08/2009: Keri from Hudson, Florida writes: "My doctor said I have a 2mm kidney stone and I took the olive oil and lemon juice starting yesterday. I have had 2 doses of it so far. Just now when I went to urinate in the strainer there was what I would call white mush (so sorry to be graphic), sadly I didn't save it and it got down the sink-could someone please email me and tell me if this is my kidney stone disolving? I would love to hear from anyone that has had this experience. PLEASE email me, instead of responding to this board. I am new to this site, and I don't know how to get to my post to see my responses. I hope to hear from some of you, thanks Keri"

[BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS]  06/06/2009: S. Lewis from Oakley, CA writes: "Hi- I'd like to give a "Yeah" on this 2 oz. lemon juice and 2 oz.olive oil thing with a severe caution and possible correction. I was past 48 hours of a horrible kidney stone case and so I found this home remedy on the 3rd evening. As soon as I mixed 4 ounce mixture and drank it I felt really 'full'. Later it became kind of gaseous and horrible and after 1 or 1 1/2 hrs I deliberately 'expelled' the rest of this heavy mixture. The "Yeah" part is that the next morning when I woke up the kidney stone was gone, thank goodness!! But, I was left with 2 days of the worst stomach you could possibly imagine and 'expelled' more of this heavy mixture here and there on it's own. So how about backing off to 1 or 2 TBS of each, instead of oz? Please be careful as the remedy was just about as bad as the condition and I felt it my deed to warn you as I wouldn't wish as stomach ache like this on my worst enemy, if I had one!"

06/04/2009: Nova from Elk Grove, CA writes: "Have had terrible pain in back for 3 months - even went to ER one night but since I was having gastritis/reflux problems they didn't bother to look at my kidneys. Fast forward 3 months and went to Dr for what I believed was a urinary tract infection. Dr did an ultra sound and a CT scan. Sure enough 4 stones lit up. He told me to go home and drink as much water as possible and it would take 2 weeks to pass them. Luckily I found this web site and began the olive oil and fresh squeezed lemon which I followed with a lot of water. Within 5 days I had delivered the stones with NO PAIN. After delivering them I took them out of the strainer and put them in a jar. I didn't think they were the stones because I expected them to be dark but they were an off white color. I stuck my finger in the jar and with my fingernail I pressed on one. It was soft!!! I thought, this can't be a stone - I've alway heard they are hard. Well, I left the lid off the jar and in the morning they were as hard as hard as a rock.

As a side light to this experience I have found that the burning in my stomach (gastritis) returned when I stopped the olive oil and lemon. I went back to taking it today and I'm not burning. I will see if it works tomorrow and the next day. Now I'm wondering if my stomach is not producing enough acid and the lemon juice is fixing that matter. Time will tell.

Thank you for this web site as my experience with my kidney stones was not painful. I would like to handle this gastritis with something as easy as lemon and olive oil. Right now my doctor prescribed a medication that I looked up and it does liver damage and is for gall stone relief (I don't even have my gall bladder!). Go figure!"

06/15/2009: Nonni from Cleveland, OH replies: "Nova, whether you passed stones or what the doctor calls "organic matter" this is still a good sign. You definitely don't want sediment clogging up your kidneys. Do your back pains feel any better since passing this?"

[YEA]  05/20/2009: Jim from Calgary, Canada writes: "I'm probably the biggest skeptic in the world and when my wife found this website with the "lemon juice/olive oil" solution to dissolving kidney stones, I wasn't convinced. I followed her insistance and choked down the mixture and I am extremely happy I followed her advice.

I was diagnosed through CT scan and ultrasouncd to have a 6 mm stone in my bladder, that had been causing pain for five days. I was perscribed Demerol and Flomax and told there was nothing else to do but wait it out!!

After mixing 2 ounces of real lemon juice and 2 ounces of extra virgin olive oil, I drank that, followed by an eight ounce glass of water. I followed that over the next day with lemon drinks of 2 ounces of real lemon in 8 ounces of water.

Within 24 hours, I was able to pass the stone with no discomfort at all."

[YEA]  05/10/2009: Mark from Troutville, VA writes: "Amazing! This worked and worked quickly. I have had several stones in the past and this is the first thing that really worked. Drinking a lot of water or cranberry juice in the past did nothing but make more pain and pressure. This worked great...I took some every 2 hours or so and passed several stones. The only warning is not to use extra virgin olive oil...I ran out of the other and tried that. I couldn't hardly swallow it. So, be sure to use regular olive oil."
