I tried it and found that i had more energy during the day, had less of an appetite, and fell asleep faster at night!! i love it! the remedy i found was every morning, a half hour before breakfast, as well as right before bed at night, drink a tablespoon of honey in one cup of boiling water with a teaspoon of cinnamon. It has only been four days, but man, what a difference!!"

2. Can Maple Syrup or Mollases be substitued? (& again what type)

Sweating from deep in your fat is when you give up your toxins. That is where your toxins are stored and this site gives little credience to this. The reason folks bring back carts at WalMart is that they are so fat that they need assistance to shop. They put their big bellies in the cart and away they go. Obesity is not about over eating, it's about toxins. Once I learned this, the inches began to shuck. Lost a lot of weight but mostly inches. Clean your bowels, clean your liver, clean your lymph.

JACKIE'S MIRACLE BREAD RECIPE

[YEA]  10/09/2008: Jackie from Grand Rapids, Minnesota writes: "This bread really does fill you up and keep you from snacking. this is the best tasting recipe for it that i've found. 2 cups nonbromated unbleached white flour--1 cup spelt flour--bought both at the healthfoodstore. 1/4 cup toasted wheat germ grocerystore brand in cereal ailse--1 pkg. rapid rise yeast--1-1/2 cups of warm water--1/4 cup brown sugar--1 tsp honey--1 tsp salt--1/4tsp ground ginger-- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon--2 tbsp canola oil--3/4 cup dried fruits, dark or golden raisins, apricots, or pineapple, or a mixture. also 2 handfuls of raw millet from health food store. i measure out all the different flours wheat germ and millet and dried fruits in separate bowls. i measure the brown sugar,honey, salt, cinnamon, ginger and oil together in another bowl. heat 1-1/2 cups water to 110 degrees, i use a thermometer.in a large bowl empty 1 pkg yeast and add the warm water, next the sugar, salt and oil mixture, add 2 cups of the white flour and beat to make a batter then gradually work the rest of the ingredients in, the dried fruits last. knead on lightly floured board 10 min, then let rise in greased bowl in warm place til double. i warm my oven slightly only few minutes and use a greased 4qt covered kettle, it conducts the heat. takes about 1 hr. punch down , divide in half and roll into loaves and place in greased loaf pans.let rise until double ( i use the oven method) remove from oven and preheat oven to 375 degrees. bake about 40 minutes. makes 2 small loaves. i doubled the recipe today, and made 2 large loaves, just realized i used 2 cups of water instead of 3, so that's why it didn't take so much flour, lol when cool, i slice it up and put it in freezer bags and freeze it. since i found this my desire to eat between meals has dropped to zero. my abdominal/ hip girth is going down. i feel so much better. i have more energy and better mental clarity. my mood is better too. i have a slice with each meal and i'm able to reduce portions without pangs and 1 slice around 8 or 9pm with a cup of green tea and then i don't snack at midnight when i get home from work. you must try for yourself, it's a miracle."

I was overweight as a child and after starting to drink Lemon and honey tea (juice of ½-1 lemon, little honey and warm water) every morning my whole system has changed. My weight has dropped and I never had a problem with it since. I cant remember the last time I had a cold or flue. Another thing that she told me to do was: When a person feels a cold or flue coming on, to use the juice of 3 lemons and add 5-6 big tablespoons of good honey, mix it well and drink it. I know it sounds horrible, however I can swear by it. I newer got sick."

The attacks started due to taking digestive enzymes for 2 days and then going off them. The attacks began the next night with coleslaw, sausages, and saurkraut ..but continued for the next 2 weeks pretty much whatever I ate. In my worst attack I practically crawled to the computer to earthclinic.com. The 1/2 cup lettuce cure came up with 2 yeas. Sent son running to store for it and 20 mins. later after eating the 1/2 c. I had complete relief. As one writer speculated that it stimulated the liver to produce digestive enzymes that would stop the body from calling on the gallbladder to produce digestive bile.. So for the next 24 hrs. I ate nothing but iceberg lettuce -lots of it - and slices of organic apple. The next day I tried out eating whatever I wanted which had caused attacks throughout the prev. 2 wks. (except the cabbage/sausages -bad memory!) Even McDonald's failed to give me an attack. I am so thrilled with this cure of course!

Hearing once recently that digestive enz help people lose a lot of weight, I wonder if the stimulation of the liver a couple times a day with particularly iceberg lettuce (as it's supposed to work the best rather than other lettuces) would be a natural weight loss cure as well? I know it seems to make less of the slight puff around my ankles -more definition. So it might also help with fluid retention. As well my new pretty set wrinkles of 6 mos. ago have almost completely disappeared within a few days of ingesting 3x per day atleast (vertical ones beneath my eyes -not the crow's feet). Try it and I'd love to hear your feedback as I'm a personal trainer and would love to see if it helps people lose weight -at least it brings down the glycemic index of each meal you eat it with some."

I lost a total of 22 lbs and have kept it off no problem. I have done shorter periods on the lemonade and found that only going at least 21 days resulted in permanent weight loss. The first week is really just your body getting rid of water and toxins so you'll gain that weight back if you stop at just one week. The longer you can remain on the program the greater your detoxing and weight loss results will be. My eyes went from permanently bloodshot to bright white while on the lemonade. I had a ton of energy and no brain fog. One thing to note, if you suspect you may be someone with very low histamine levels this may not be for you. I have low histamine levels (histapenia) and I believe this diet lowers them ever further. I became very short tempered and testy during certain points in the fast. You take the juice of half a lemon, real genuine maple syrup grade A,B or C, (not the fake kind. 1/10th of a teaspoon of cayenne pepper. You mix that in with 10 oz of water. You drink this anywhere from 6 to 10 times a day. You don't eat anything else. The only other thing you want to take is an herbal lexative tea, and a salt bath. Drink the herbal lexative tea every night before you go to bed, then the salt bath every morning when you wake up. The recipe for the salt bath is 2 teaspoons of sea salt mixed in with a quart of luke warm water. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time before you leave the house, because after drinking the salt water mixture you will be going potty for about 2 hours. I'd buy the booThe Master Cleanser Book by Stanley Burroughs. This book explains the process and answers all your questions. You have to go on the diet for atleast ten days. I really gotta say, it cured my acid indigestion, depression, and all kinds of other things that were wrong with me. I'd reccommend it to anybody.

If you're diabetic you would use Molasses instead of the maple syrup. Just research it first, then go for it."

To her credit, rather than gasping, or blushing or getting affronted, Aunt Mary replied, "Absolutely." So the old man pointed to his little old wife and said, "Would you believe that she used to weight over 300 pounds?" Then the old lady took over. Apparently she'd been very heavy, but she stumbled across a weight loss secret that worked wonders for her. According to her, if you mix 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar (preferably the "light" rather than the "dark" kind -- but I've only been able to find the dark) and two tablespoons of honey in 1 quart of warm water (warm to dissolve the honey) and drink the mixture over the course of the day, the pounds just fall off. It worked for her, and for numerous friends of hers, and now she tells everyone she meets who she thinks might benefit from the info. I don't know if this works, but I'm giving it a shot -- after all, an extra quart of water per day certainly won't hurt, and ACV isn't bad for you. I'm finding the taste very unpleasant, but a few sips every hour or so is enough to get the whole quart down before the day is over. I don't know if this is easier or harder than the 2-3 tablespoons in a glass of water before meals option, but for those with irregular meal times and locations (like me), gradual consumption from a quart water bottle over the course of the day is an easy answer. apple cider vinegar (1/2 cup),
juice of two fresh squeezed lemons,
maple syrup (to taste), and
cayenne pepper (as much as you can stand) is a great weight loss combo.....

Go on a fast for one day, only sip this "lemonade" the second day, only liquids and this lemonade the third day, chicken noodle soup and the lemonade (or cabbage soup) the fourth day -- add fresh veggies, not carrots. And the fifth day, one regular meal and the lemonade, and you can be anywhere from 10 to 15 pounds thinner, and feel great!

I used to weigh 289 pounds, I now weigh 135 pounds... and no one believes I am soon to be 47 years old... I also give my hubby the same thing, but substitute black molasses for the honey as he is pre-diabetic. Gives him instant energy and helps him digest his meals and he feels less sluggish,... I love ACV!!"

How to Make Lemonade
2 Tbsp lemon or lime juice (approx. 1/2 lemon)
2 Tbsp genuine maple syrup (not maple flavored sugar syrup)
1/10 Tsp cayenne pepper (red pepper) or to taste
Water, medium hot (spring or purified water)

Combine the juice, maple syrup, and cayenne pepper in a 10 oz. glass and fill with medium hot water. (Cold water may be used if preferred.) Use fresh lemons or limes only, never canned lemon or lime juice nor frozen lemonade or frozen juice. Use organic lemons when possible."

OBESITY IN CHILDREN

My grandmother would do everything she could to keep our family fed and and clothed. She would buy good food, but also some not so healthy choices. Like hot dogs by the pack, and soda by the Liter, because she felt it was cost efficient. So we would normally end up having to buy food that would last the whole month, which included pork, hams, corn dogs, and etc...

If your a child being raised in a crowded home, you usually have to eat what's served on your plate regardless of nutrition. Well what's good for the goose is not necessary good for the gander. Just because Sean is 16 and is a growing boy who play football, doesn't mean 10 year old Sherry can eat a pound of potatoes smothered in butter and a huge sloppy Joe.

I was overweight most of my life. I used to be 180 pounds when I was 16, now I'm down to 145. It's all because I change my life style. Growing up I was mentally depressed. When you are depressed you tend to eat more, because your trying to fulfill an emotional need with food, but all it does is lead to weight gain. Also not having healthy choices leads to bad health. We also eat when were bored, if you having nothing to occupy your mind having some food is one of the first things that tends to go on the I do list.

When I was a little girl I was sheltered and wasn't allowed to do much in the way of having a social life. My guardian was overly protective and gave me a lot negative self talks. I couldn't go to the neighbor's house because their were boys there, but my brothers could go just about anywhere they wanted and could roughhouse all they liked. Play sports, have friends, and participate in after school activities.

I came from an African American family. My family couldn't understand why I would eat so much and they would ridicule me because of my weight and size, and to this day their are lot of emotional scars left behind. I dread gaining and weight and I am constantly trying to get down to 125. It was all ignorance and I suffered alot for something I didn't cause or couldn't help.

The point of what I am trying to say is that children who are overweight cannot help because parents and guardians simply are not giving them right choices. It pains me to see older and younger alike who are in the category of obesity. I want to tell people so badly that the food choices they are making is what's causing this epidemic, as well emotional problems."

English Name: Tropical Periwinkle
It is a perennial herb, erect, much branched. 70-80 cm high. Leaves alliptic to obovate, rounded retuse or mucronulate at apex acute at base. Flowers in 1-4 flowered cymes. Calyx segments subulate. Corolla whitish or pinkish. Follicles 2-3 cm long, pubescnt.
Parts used : Leaves and roots

The plant contains very precious alkaloids ' vincristine' and 'vinblastine' which are used in allopathic medicine as anti-cancer injections. The herb leaves are very useful in controlling the diabetes. The herb leaves are mixed with other herbs to get good results."
