Dave~ I've had a rash on my leg for about a month; about 4x7 inches. It literally appeared overnight was very itchy. I tried ACV and also tried Coconut oil with no luck. I finally went to the Doctor and he prescribed "nystatin - Triamcinolone Acetonide" ointment. That was two weeks ago and I just renewed the prescription. The itching is considerably better but the rash is still very red and ugly. I'm going on a cruise next week and I'd given up all hope of being able to wear shorts. Perhaps out of desperation, I tried your cayene pepper and coconut oil paste last night. I applied it to the rash and put a large gauze pad loosley over it. When I woke this morning, there is absolutely no itchng and the rash is about 50% GONE. I'll try another application today. THANK YOU

Wow. This is great stuff. I had an allergic reaction to benzoyl peroxide. I had used this as a treatment on my face (my entire face) for a couple of days, then broke out into a dry, itchy, red, swollen, hot, bumpy rash. My 1st thought was benadryl & aloe & moisturizer, but they didn't help much.
I came across this post & finally decided to give it a shot (rather than go to a Dr.& have him give me a cortisone shot or some type of meds with possible side effects. I had ACV at home already, so I decided to use that too after I bought the CO & Cayenne. I washed my face with a bar of 'H20plus' soap then blotted on ACV (burned like.... ), then used a mixture of CO & Cayenne on my entire face (putting plain CO around & over my eyes). I woke up this morning & the rash is 75% gone! (1nite, 1application! ) It even cleared up the acne that I was trying to get rid of with the Benzoyl Peroxide. I am amazed. This really works... & fast too!

Do you have a ratio of pepper to oil? And it sounds like it would burn with the pepper...does it?

Colostrum

We tried a low histamine diet along with about $1000 of supplements and creams, even a trip to the beach in February! A week at the beach helped a lot, but we couldn't stay there forever, and I was praying for a miracle.
Fast forward six months...Our miracle came in the form of colostrum. We ordered the expensive stuff off amazon and it started working very quickly. Within a week all the sores and rashes were starting to heal. She also got her energy back and I got my little girl back!
She can now survive off the cheaper colostrum, but for ease of use, we order a spray version and she takes it every morning. We went on vacation and forgot the colostrum. After three days, she started getting tired again, so for now, it's part of her life indefinitely.
Part of the long version of her story is how this reaction started.
She has fought eczema since birth (elbows, knees), but after discovering fresh, grass fed cow milk, it all went away. She gained weight and her skin was so smooth. Years later, however, in my overmothering efforts, I started making fermented foods: sourdough bread, kefir, pickles, probiotics, and feeding the kids lots of grass fed beef gelatin. It's suppose to be really good for you right?! Well, it was great, for me and the rest of the kids! But it sent my eleven year old into histamine shock! The short list of what we tried involved most of the remedies here on earth clinic.
I didn't realize what was going on at first, but when I (out of desperation) gave her a Benadryl, she cleared up quickly. Researching further, I found histamine intolerance information and light bulbs started going off. Life is better now. And the colostrum has allowed her to enjoy her childhood again!
I pray this review truly helps another as this website has helped our family so much!

Also those talking about ascorbic acid should be aware that it often comes from corn. The majority of corn in this country is genetically modified. If you want grandchildren then do not use that stuff on your kids. If you want to get through life without having organ damage then you should avoid it too.

I was sick for over a year, had many tests and even a food allergy test scratch test and blood test and then my ND told me those tests were only 50% accurate, I had a rash off and on and just general itchy skin, blurred vision, dizziness, nausea weight loss, brain fog fatigue, weakness, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, and wheezing, I thought I was on my way out in fast order, The elimination diet was suggested and I did it, Elimination diet is just rice, chicken, turkey lamb, all vegetable except night shades, I was also allowed onions and garlic, of course water and olive oil blueberries and pear that is all I ate for two weeks then I reintroduce one food at a time wheat for 1/2 day and see how I feel then back on the diet for 3 1/2 days then soy 1/2 of day, then back on diet for 3 1/2 days then dairy, corn , sugar, citrus etc...this diet helped so much to figure out the cause of all my symptoms an it is best to stop all gluten for at least six months to really see a turn around . I also did a long term gentle parasite cleanse with colonics. These things all turned my life around . I would suggest elimination diet to anyone suffering with rashes.

Hi R. The sad truth of the matter is that the medical industry is just that. It has become an industry for SOME. Not ALL. The fact that they don't know the simple solutions and cures is of no surprise. MOST medical doctors do not know anything about nutrition because it is an elective while they are in school, so they don't bother. They only know what the so called nutritional guidelines (designed by lobbyists and lawyers a.k.a. the food pyramid), says to do. Not the destroying effects of the sugars and grains.

My husband has had a rash since the tornadoes of 2011--we thought it was a reaction to that dust. He also got a lung infection, so dr put him on antibiotics--rash appeared then. So, onto steroids, rash got worse. He's tried every inhaler for copd, everything give him/exacerbates the rash. Pharmacist said redman syndrome. Poor guy, he's so miserable. Any suggestions? Oh, he won't take any supplements. Just won't. So, I have to prepare foods that will fix it, or lotions, etc. Thanks.

I went to look and it said redman syndrome is from a reaction to a certain antibiotic and even children get it, causes a rash, chills, fever, pain , and redness around neck. It talked about high dose IV of Benadryl which is an anti histamine, that would stop an allergic response.
Maybe baking soda would help, it stops allergic reactions. I use to take it when I was freaking out from something I breathed or ate or touched.

Hi Gert from Someplace, please go to itsan.org and read about topical steroids and steroid inhalers and red skin syndrome. From your post it sounded like your husband's problem started before he used any steroids and the steroids made him worse. I hope he is not using any still. For some people they cause an eczema-like reaction and the only thing you can do is stop using them and allow your body to naturally detox and heal. If the antibiotics caused problems then look into probiotic foods - yogurt and fermented vegetables. Good luck!
