HORSERADISH CURED MY SUN DAMAGE/ MELASMA. I have sun damage/ melasma on my forehead and while IPL worked great on my freckles, it did not work on this. I also tried hydroquinone to no avail. What did work (and I think it has been aided by significantly improving my diet, exercise routine, quiting marijuana, and taking msm, vitamin c, fish oil, multi-vitamin, antioxidants, and licorice as recommended by this and similar sites) more than anything and relatively fast was horseradish. I had had the redness for two years and then started putting an all natural horsedadish on it and it has almost gone in just months.

It scared me at first because I put it on 3 times for twenty minutes in a 36 hour period and it got so much darker and stayed that way, so I cursed my decision and fate. However, it peeled off within two weeks, similar to a sunburns peel (and close to what IPL does to freckles) and was lighter. Since then I experimented with the best way to administer it, and I know the goal is to just irritate the skin enough to get it to peel. For me with fair skin, I now cake it on the affected areas and leave it for an hour and fifteen minutes or so and then wait a week while it peels.

I recommend starting slowly by doing it once for fifteen minutes and then waiting a week or two to check the effect, Slowly increase either frequency or duration until you know what it takes to get a peel and then go with that. Although it burns fairly painfully to leave it on longer, I prefer one long dose because it's such a pain to put the stuff on and have it on your skin. Just go slow, and trust that it will work, for which I am so grateful to this site and other natural sites for turning me on to. Good luck.

Hello! Ok, i promised myself that if i found something that worked at curing my melasma that i would tell as many people as possible so that they can benefit too. Well, I HAVE!!! I honestly cannot believe it!! and it is largely due to the many people who have posted their solutions on this site. I'll give you a bit of background to my personal problem. In Sept 2008 i began the birth control pill for the first time in almost 10 years. It was to clear up an acne problem that i had developed in my 30's (I'm now 34). Come January 2009 (peek of Australian summer) i started to see brown dots on my cheeks. By the end of March they turned to dark brown pathches across my cheeks and a slight moustache looking shadow above my lip. Nothing would cover it. Not even the amazing Jane Iredale makeup. I did endless research about laser treatments but because i have dark skin naturally i was scared of the possible side effects. Last week (literally 1 week ago) I came across this site and a couple of others which related the pill to high levels of copper in the system which can lead to the melasma (high levels of copper is also found in pregnant women). This is what i chnaged from that moment onwards and the results have been AMAZING! Truly! The melasma has lightened and shrunk by abut 50% so far.

- Went OFF the pill!
- Took 1000 mg of vitamin C daily
- Took 1000mg of ZINC daily
- Used bleeching serum nighly on face (as perscribed by Dermatologist).
- Spread HORSERADISH (yes, that's right!!) from my local grocer as you would find in a jar. I've been rubbing a small amount on my melasma and leaving it to dry for around 20 mins. I've done this 3 times so far and I honestly believe this has been the key ingredient to the fading of my melasma.
- USED 30+ SUNSCREEN DAILY!!!! ever since beginning this process. I was not doing this before. I will now be using sunscreen on my face every day. This is also a crucial step in the process. Don't use bleech etc.. and then go out in the sun as it will only get worse.

I was in tears a week ago. I felt like I had these permanent tattoos on my face. I've woken up this morning actually 'looking' for the melasma because i can't see it the moment i look in the mirror. Before it was all i could see when i looked in the mirror.

I hope this worked for you too! AND THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HAS POSTED THEIR ADVICE!! A combination of a few solutions has truly been a miracle for me.
x

FIRST I WANT TO THANK THE GAL THAT FIRST POSTED THIS INFO...U ARE A GODSEND ! I HAVE SUFFERED WITH ACNE AND MELASMA FOR OVER TEN YEARS. I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING OUT THERE, SPENT THOUSANDS ON USELESS TREATMENTS, AND HAVE FOUND THAT SOMETHING SO SIMPLE AS HORSERADISH HAS ENDED THIS AWFUL CHAPTER IN MY LIFE ! THIS STUFF BURNS A BIT, BUT IS INCREDIBLY EFFECTIVE AT ELIMINATING ALL BROWN PATCHES INCLUDING ONE THAT LOOKED PRECANCEROUS...IT JUST FELL OFF ! I AM TRUELY AMAZED AT HOW FAST THIS STUFF WORKS.

I HAVE BEEN PUTTING IT ON AT NIGHT AND LET IT DRY WHILE I READ OR WATCH TV. I WOULD LIKE TO LEAVE IT ON ALL NIGHT BUT AFTER IT DRIES IT WILL FLAKE OFF AND GET ALL OVER YOUR PILLOW/BED. SO WHAT I DO IS KINDA GROSS, BUT IT WORKS...I STAND OVER MY SINK AND GENTLY WIPE IT OFF WITH A DRY WASHCLOTH. I DO NOT WASH MY FACE ...I WANT TO LEAVE WHATS LEFT ON MY FACE ON ALL NITE LONG, ONLY WIPING AWAY THE EXCESS DRIED HORSERADISH. DO NOT RUB, ONLY WIPE GENTLY. I TRIED DOING THIS TWICE A DAY BUT IT WAS TOO MUCH...AND I BURNED MY SKIN A LITTLE....SO ONCE A DAY IS SUFFICENT.

I STARTED USING THIS ABOUT THREE WEEKS AGO AND ITS ALMOST GONE...AND I HAD IT ALL OVER MY FACE.IT WAS REALLY REALLY DARK TOO. I HAVE ALSO HAD ACNE MY WHOLE LIFE IT SEEMS, AND HAVE NEVER FOUND ANYTHING THAT HELPS. I HAVE CYSTIC, AND REGULAR ACNE.I WAS SO SURPRISED TO NOT HAVE A BREAK OUT WHEN I GOT MY PERIOD. SO I HAVE BEEN EXPERIMENTING WITH IT ON PIMPLES AND CAN BELIEVE WHAT IT DOES. THIS STUFF DRIES IT UP IMMEDIATELY !

I AM SO IMPRESSED WITH MY RESULTS I AM NOW PUTTING IT ON MY ARMS WHERE I HAVE LOTS OF SUN DAMAGE AND A FEW SPOTS THAT I AM WORRIED MAY BECOME CANCEROUS. WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW HOW THAT GOES. I HAD A SIMILAR AGE SPOT THAT LOOKED CANCEROUS ABOVE MY EYEBROW. I HAD ONLY BEEN USING IT FOR ABOUT TEN DAYS WHEN THE WHOLE THING JUST CAME OFF, LIKE A SCAB ON A WOUND. WOW !!! THIS STUFF BURNS AND STINKS BUT IS SOOOO WORTH IT ! A MIRACLE PRODUCT SITTING ON YOUR GROCERS SHELF FOR ONLY A FEW BUCKS. TRY IT U WILL BE AMAZED TOO. BE DILIGENT AND DO IT EVERY NITE UNLESS U HAVE BROKEN SKIN...THEN U SHOULD WAIT TILL IT HEALS. I USE REGULAR CREAMY STYLE...NOT THE EXTRA HOT.

I've had dark blotches on both sides of my face since I was pregnant 27 years ago. I've spent so much time and money without any possitive results. I have been washing my face with baking soda and using horseradish nightly for two weeks, not only has the color lighten but the big blotches are breaking up into smaller sections. I can now apply light make up and cover my blotches. I give a big thumbs up to horseradish.

how do you tell what sort of melasma you could possibly have as i have been on gse for a month now and have no noticable results and have also tried the horseradish mask 3 times a week and only gotten a red face maybe i'm treating the ailment the wrong way. please let me know some sort of input and updates to your own experiences as i'm not having much success and the frequency that got you your results

Hi Fernanda, Could you tell me how old your melasma is and what kind of diet you are taking? GSE largely helps by alkalizing your blood and killing parasites, yeasts, fungus etc but if your diet includes sugar products, refined carbohydrates etc. the effect of GSE decreases. Also, you have to stay on it longer (take it only with water without mixing into any kind of juices)

thank you preet for getting back to me. as for my diet i eat pretty healthy althought i eat lunch out everyday because my work keeps me on the road and i am currently using gse straight, no longer mixing with amything and waiting it out to see if it makes any difference. are you familier with the horseradish mask as well and how long should i keep using gse as the health food store said a short time only because of the cleansing affect no good for long term. thank you again for your responce.

To Fernanda:

Hi Fernanda, Its good that you are eating healthy but here is what you have to do if you are not doing it already!

1. Avoid all Sugar, Dairy
2. Avoid all refined foods

Your diet should be rich in green foods to alkalize your blood. Search for candida diet and follow that. Also, could you tell me what kind of GSE you were using and how many drops per day?

You dont have to avoid all the foods for a lifetime just for few months until you control your candida. have you tried colon cleanse etc.?
I'll be happy to give my feedback to you!

hydrogen peroxide for melasma

A dermatologist diagnosed me with melasma and prescribed a cream to use for a month and he said it would only partially help. And that after a month of the cream I would need a chemical peel to lighten the spots. Well of course I did my own research. I found this site and tried the hydrogen peroxide. I just dabbed a cotton ball with hydrogen peroxide on my spots. In 3 days they are 90% lighter. A day or two more I can tell they will be gone completly. Thank you for this site. It has saved me time, money, and prevented possible pain.

I'm very glad I found this site. The reason I took a chance is that no one was trying to sell a product. I suspect that no one here has stock in a hydrogen peroxide company! Either way at $1 a bottle, I figured, "what the heck".

Before leaving on a trip, I bought a new bottle of peroxide (3%). I know it is photosensitive (that's why they put it in a opaque bottle) and susceptible to losing potency. That is why I bought a new bottle. I used it a few days and within a couple of days I got results. I didn't use it for the 4 or 5 days I was gone but I noticed my skin got MUCH better. While I was on my trip, the dark dead skin sort of peeled off in the shower. Now, I have clearer skin that appears to be getting better.

I should note that I tried Obagi and was somewhat pleased with the results but it took some time and noticed that the darkness would return. I don't know yet what the permanent results of peroxide will be. I have found some people recommend a stronger solution but I don't know how that will work. The 3% solution made my skin feel itchy for about 2 minutes but it felt as though it was stimulating cell growth (that may just be my perception).

I am a male between 30-40 years old.

Thanks for the information and the website.

Hydrogen Peroxide is wonderful. I tried hydrogen peroxide to brush my teeth, and it is very good, my breath is clear and my teeth are shining! and I have melasma on my cheek, I just tried several days to apply it on my face and I found the colour faded. I love this one.

I have been taking MSM and various suppliments such as zinc and Vitamin E for 6 months. However when i started using the Hydrogen Peroxide twice daily along with White Daisy Extract creams (Aloette or Garden Of Wisdom which is 1/4 of the price) it made a dramatic dirfference. Thanks for your wonderful advice. Unbelieveable that something so common could work!!! Eva

I tried the Hydrogen Peroxide for Melasma: I've done 5 treatments, 20 minutes on the affected areas and it has substancially faded. I have it quite bad on forehead, cheek area, upper lip. I have also done the glycolic peels, Tri-Luma cream, etc. with no results. I am amazed this is working, and trying to determine if I can continue this to control the melasma.

I read about hydrogen peroxide. Actually it blocks blood supply to the area of treatment that's why the area appears to be faded. I don't think it's permanent lightening!!

You should be careful since you can damage deeper skin tissue with this approach.

Better would be use a combination therapy I.e. triluma plus monthly peels. that would eventually work for you, if not in six months then in 2 years. But if you absolutely protect your face from heat and light and don't cause any irritation eventually all pigment will deplete from the dermis and your melasma can disappear. It takes patience. Just because creams have not worked doesn't mean they won't work. If only you keep using and keep protecting, eventually melasma will go.

I have started to use H202 on the brown sun spots on my left cheek after reading on Earth Clinic that it would fade them. Last night was the 2nd night. I took a cotton ball and soaked it in h202 and then held it to the area for about 15 minutes. Can report that after 2 nights they look like they are fading. Will report back.

04/08/2008: Lisa from Santa Fe, New Mexico writes: "I've read all your suggestions and thoughts about melasma. I must admit, this is the most feedback I've seen thus far! I too suffer from this disgusting patchy face look. I have it on my cheeks, forehead and upperlip just like most of you. I've tried creams, OTC and prescription, the only thing that faded was my money! I've tried Apple cider vinegar and currently trying a cream with "tepezcohuite" a mexican remedy. So far its been 3 days and I know I must give it some time, I wanted to wake up and see instant results but thats dreaming. I plan to give it 4-6 months of fair trying. I'll keep you posted on how its working for me. if all else fails, I'm interested in the hydrogen peroxide remedy. Has anybody heard about laser tx? I'm getting desperate that I'm thinking about that route. I'm at my wits end with melasma. I feel people are concentrating on my melasma rather than me"

My aunt had melasma. She started doing Kapalbhati pranayam and the melasma reduced within a few weeks and went away completely in a couple of months. In India, yoga master Ramdev Baba's style of doing kapalbhati Pranayam is the most popular. Here is the link to see how it is done:

http://knowyoga.org/tiki-index.php?page=Kapal Bhati Pranayam

If you do it, do write back in a month to let us all know if your melasma has faded. Good wishes! (I do kapalbhati everyday for other health benefits and like Ramdev Baba says, it seems to cure all problems.)

To Laurence from Granger, Indiana:

Yes Laurence, I and my aunt (my mom too, and a whole lot of other family members) do kapalbhati regularly.
(Swami Ramdev's yoga is currently a big craze in India, and he has millions of followers).

When we started doing, we did it for 2 minutes at a time, and three-two times per day. So you can do it multiple times, but always on an empty stomach (about 3-4 hours after you last ate). As we got more accustomed to doing it, we increased the period gradually...eg. now we are able to do kapalbhati for 20 minutes each time, twice a day. However, doing 20 minutes per day once (or 10 minutes twice a day hence 20 minutes totally per day) is also enough.

Please take care to do kapalbhati (forceful exhalation) with medium force--it should be more forceful than normal breathing, but not so forceful that it makes you feel giddy.

Good luck! When you get results, please post back on earthclinic about the success. Kapalbhati is a Master Pranayam that cures multiple problems...so if it helped you in any other way, other than melasma, please write feedback on that also.

I started doing Kapalbhatti Pranayaam 4 days back. Yesterday, i found this post on net and was really happy about it as it increased my hopes. You must be knowing that Melasma is a very depressing condition.

I would like to know how long did your aunt have Melasma and where all? Was it in the superficial layer of the skin or had it moved to inner layer too?

Please answer whatever you can, i will be very grateful... I will also keep posting if i see any improvements.....

Vedika,

You are lucky you are in India as you can view Aastha channel for indepth information on yoga and pranayam (see Ramdev Baba's yoga programs).

To answer your questions....
1. My aunt had melasma on her cheeks (I dont know where else she had). She had melasma for almost 2 years, and it was quite prominent. I think it took her around 6-8 months of Pranayam to completely rid herself of melasma.

2. I suggest you do 10 minutes of Anulom-vilom pranayam after doing Kapalbhati.
Ramdev Baba says that when you do Kapalbhati and Anulom-Vilom pranayams (the master pranayams) daily, it will regenerate the entire body in 9 months, and rid you of all diseases.

Good Luck, and please update on what helped you finally, onto this website, as it will help many others.

Dear Sumita from Ohio,

1. I have no personal experience of curing melasma, so I cannot answer about specific techniques to be used. But yes, my aunt was cured of melasma by doing pranayam (Kapalbhati, anulom-vilom)
2. If you want to learn how to do, use search terms like 'Kapalbhati, Baba Ramdev, yoga' in Google and you will get excellent videos on the same.
3. A fast track way of starting on pranayams will be to do the 'Art of Living Basic Course'. I believe they have an upcoming course session in Ohio too:

Hi Sumita,

Answers below:

1. What was the reason for ur aunts melasma (BCP, Pregnancy, stress?
Answer: menopause, stress

2. Is she still doing pranayams and is her face still completely clear?
HER FACE IS COMPLETELY CLEAR. SHE HAD MELASMA ON CHEEKS, NOW HER CHEEKS ARE CLEAR AND GLOWING.

Yes, she drinks 2 glasses water in the mornings on an empty stomach and does pranayam and yoga. she does this for atleast 30-40 mins first thing in the morning. When she started benefiting from all this, she got really enthusiatic and would often repeat the pranayam and yoga in the evenings...always on an empty stomach (3-4 hours since last food intake)

3. Does she or did she avoid sun and take precautionary measures while in the sun? If yes what?

Answer: She doesnt particularly avoid sun, nor does she spend substantial time in the sun.
She uses Lacto calamine as a suncreen {it has natural ingredients, forms a physical barrier against the sun (not a chemical barrier), and is a good treatment for scarring and pigmentation)

4. Any diet changes that she made?
Answer: She always had a very clean diet. She is vegetarian, eats loads of fruits. She is quite diet and health conscious.

5. Did she do anything else too like dietary supplements or something?
Answer: She eats chyawanprash daily. She underwent some treatment for managing menopause and related discomfort such as hot flashes.

6. Were these two the only pranayams she was doing?
Answer: Like I mentioned above, pranayam and yoga as taught by Baba Ramdev. Ramdev teaches a set of 5 pranayams (google search will show the 5 pranayams), that he says will cure any condition in 9 months. She did all these 5 pranayams, plus yoga. I mentioned only kapalbhati and anulom-vilom as Ramdev says these 2 are the master pranayams and if you cant do all 5, then do these 2.

There are good yoga CDs by Ramdev available online. You can find them by doing a google search.
Good Luck!
I highly recommend the Art of Living basic course, for a fab detox for the body and mind. This will really prepare your body and mind for quick healing.

I've been on this forum before and am happy to report that I've made progress with my melasma battle - and I really wanted to share with you all (as it's completely because of you guys and all your fab posts)!

My melasma originally started on one cheek. After two years, I started noticing it developing on the other cheek. I was on the contraceptive pill and made the decision to come off it (I'd been on it for 8/9 yrs).

Last summer was particuarly difficult as the marks were so dark that they couldn't be covered. Cover-up made them look grey. Then I started noticing tan patches appearing on my forehead - nightmare.

I decided not to use any harsh chemicals on my skin - I truly believe these mask the problem and will only make your skin sensitive and susceptible to further problems.

I invested in a high factor (40 ) sunscreen/make-up, which I always wear - rain or shine.

I increased my water intake and made sure my diet was full of fruit and vegetables.

Initially, I tried Grapeseed Extract 1000mg, Grapefruit Seed Extract (which I found made me feel sick with the taste), MSM 1000mg, Zinc 100mg, Vit C 100mg. I think I probably needed to start off with smaller amounts because I started to feel really unwell and felt my health was suffering. Plus, I saw no change in my skin. Although I should point out I was still on the pill when trying these.

However, a couple of weeks ago I visited this site again and saw someone mention kefir. I did some reading and thought it was worth a shot. I bought some grains on the internet and started making kefir (daily) - which I turn into a smoothie or pancakes.

Well - after only two weeks my melasma looks like it's fading. It can now be covered with make-up. Even better, I spent the day in the sun and it isn't any worse.

Even my husband has told me my skin looks smoother and brighter - result. I'll definitely keep this going. I'm also going to introduce Grapeseed Extract and MSM again - (slowly this time) to see if I can speed up results.

So thank you for posting about kefir - it's brilliant stuff. If anyone has any other advice they could give me that would be great.

I'll keep you all posted on the results.

Hi Sarah, Thank you for your post! It has been a little over a year now since u've last posted, has Kefir helped reduce your melasma any further? Please update us on your progress, good or bad I'm sure we'll find it helpful! I started drinking Kefir about a month ago and have grown to love it bc of all the benefits it offers. Unfortunately, a week ago my grains got contaminated and died. :(. I've ordered new grains and can't wait for them to come! I drank Kefir for 3 weeks straight and tho I did not yet see any major improvements on my melasma, overall I felt that my skin was nicer. Not sure if it's my imagination, but it does look like my melasma has gotten darker again from this past week w/o the Kefir! Btw, I was using it as a mask every night for 4 days before the grains were contaminated. I loved it as a mask!!!! Tightens and moisturizes the skin! Again, please updat us w your progress when u have the time. We'd love to hear from you!

Hi Sandra, I've been reading your posts of frustration over melasma. I too, have had melasma all over my cheeks for quite a few years now- about 5. I have tried apple cider vinegar and hydrogen peroxide and creams that claimed they'd get rid of them. Not only were they expensive, they didn't work! Well, I saw changes when I went raw and drank green juices for about 9 months but still it was there- just reduced. I had hoped it would clear it all up because it was such a cleansing diet but no such luck.

A little over two months ago, I started making my own kefir from the living grains which I've written about here on EC. I started because of reading about all the benefits which sounded unreal because it lists a long array of them. Well, I have found so many of the benefits to be true. Among them, one of the most profound for myself was that almost all of my melasma is gone and my skin is amazing. If you google kefir and melasma a lot of info comes up about it! It might interest you to do that. At any rate, I just thought I'd share this info w/ you since I can feel your frustration. Just remember it won't work overnight although I have to say it was only about 2 weeks into it that I started to notice its disappearance! Best to you, Lisa

Do not use Hydroquinone...it fades everything away...puts you on top of the world ....then comes back darker and more...Devastated me into depression....now trying msm, vit c, zinc, magnesium, potassium and aloe juice...Hopefully works as I'm at wits end...also going to start grapefruit seed extract...we will see...I have nothing to lose at this point.

Thank you so much for your info! I used hydroquinone too and made my melasma even worse! Now I have horrible dark patches that can't be covered with heavy foundations. 😞 I am devastated, I feel ugly, I don't want to go out of the house, do you think msm may help? Have you tried it topically too?

Again thank you so much!

Has anyone found something to fade their melasma as I too have horrible brown patches on my face. I have been using murad Lightning system and I alternate it with his resurgence line. it did help a little. I also have been using glocolic peel I ordered from Walmart. Idk what else to do to get rid of this off my face. It's so embarrassing just looking for anything that will help

hello Kerri,

Yes, do not use hydroquinone.

my melasma faded to the point where I do not need make up anymore simply by ditching grains, sugar and dairy (3 months).I simply eat meat, veggies and fruits. I use mandelic acid 25% which is made of almonds during winter, and it helps, and 50SPF sunblock.

You need to address your gut and kidney-glucose, heal inflammation.

Good luck!

After briefly reviewing this condition/thread/post, it seems appropriate to consider trying the natural remedy of Black Cumin Seed Oil both topically & internally for this Melasma condition.

BCSO contains the fallowing profile of natural antibiotics:

thymoquinone (TQ) 2-Isopropyl-5-methylbenzo-1,4-quinone, thymohydroquinone (THQ) and thymol. A teaspoon of BCSO plus a spoon of Milled Flax Seed would be major beneficial to clearing bad bugs and debris from both small & large intestines.

hi kerri, this all the same plant just different names

petty surge, milk weed; radium weed, wart weed.

I have used this many times you only need to squeeze a drop or two from the stem of the plant then simply rub it on to the area you want to treat do not use more and do not get it near your eyes, if you put some on in the morning you can you can wash yourself that night without it making any difference to what you have treated. all ways try in a small spot first, as it is possible that too much could burn a little, don't let that bother you, it will take up to a week to start to see the result.you than can use more if need be. its magic no more blemishes no more skin cancer.recently I had black patches on my arms caused by listing to doctors and taking asprin, I started using ozone an found that if I applied ozone to a black patch within about a week I would simply rub the spot and it it gradually dissapear never to return. I have not tried it on cancer spots as yet; as dont have any. (as yet). good luck, john.

I've stumbled across this website by chance - thank goodness. I like most of you have been suffering the devestating condition of pigmentation and melasma for over 5 years. It has ruined my self confidence, my social life and my ability to enjoy normal life.

I have tried all the creams, serums, 'beauty' treatments, microdermabrasion, lighteners, brightners, lotions, potions , peels and worst of all Laser and IPL - IPL made everything so much WORSE to the point that now make up doesnt cover it. It just looks like I have big dirty patches on my face.

Since reading all the natural remedies I have stocked up on Vitamin C, MSM, Grape Seed extract, Hydrogen Peroxide and have ordered a product called Meleston off the web.

I pray one or combination of these will give me some result - I will be happy if it just fades somewhat.

Reading about all of you who have been living with this too is such a relief (not that you are suffering but that I am not the only one)

Thank you all for your information and I will keep you posted on my progress

Maz

This is in response to Maz from Sydney, Australia re: Melasma.

I have melasma around my mouth. I've spent a ton of money trying to get rid of it. I finally found a solution that works for me and I gathered it all here on this website. In addition to my multiple vitamin I started taking 2 Vitamin E, 1 Pantothenic Acid, a Vitamin C and a Zinc. I also purchased a cream recommended ________ that has niacin in it. Since I cannot post the name brand you can email me at [email protected] and I'll give you the details.

Hi Leslie, thank you so much for your reply. It's fantastic to hear of another success in getting rid of this awful melasma. I will definitely try the vit E, zinc and Pantothenic Acid. I'll also drop you an email for the cream.

I'm still scrubbing away at my face with the hydrogen peroxide and taking the supplements. I am looking at my face so much that its hard to tell if there is anymore fading since yesterday.

Thanks again for the tips

Best Wishes
Maz
