That was really interesting Steve. I had read some on the subject a few years ago, but this has renewed my interest.

I think I will attempt to get rid of the electromagnetic fields in the bedroom first, as so much time is spent there. It certainly can't hurt, and might be of great benefit.

It seems like being conected to the earth would be a very good thing as well. Really interesting stuff. Thanks for sharing it! ~Carly

I have to say that using an earthing or grounding mat in bed at night and at the computer and tv has really helped me. I have been chronically ill for many years and I am making improvements now where before I was either staying the same or getting worse no matter how hard I tried to get well. Buy the sheet -it's worth the money. To start out my husband helped me make up a mat to sleep on. I could see the first night it had made a difference, but I waited about two weeks before I ordered the bed sheet. I LOVE it. I also bought some mocassins with no plastic or rubber for outside, as we live in the desert and you can't walk barefoot outside here.

I still use the homemade mat at the computer and tv.

My emotions are steadier, calmer, my mind is clearer and I can read again. My muscle strength is coming back slowly. I sleep like a ROCK. I fall asleep suddenly and wake up at 5 or 6 am, where before I wanted to stay in bed all day. I awake lying on my right side, which was always a no-no due to reflux, but that is GONE now. Whether its helped my snoring, I'll have to ask, but my sleep is so sound now I can't be doing too much snoring.

I will never stop earthing as long as I live. They will have to tear my earthing sheet out of my cold dead hands, because I'll be trying to take it with me!

Miracle cure for my high blood pressure! "Earthing" or "grounding". Google it. I have tried everything, including medication for 3 years! Today it is down to 128/68! Normally it would be about 175/90 even with medication, no sugar, low carb diet, lots of magnesium, and on and on. I have had no medication for almost 24 hrs. This is so amazing. There is a lot of info about this on the web. All I did was walk around outside barefoot this morning, and sit with my bare feet on a cement patio for about an hour. It actually changes the viscosity of your blood from "ketchup" to "wine" and it flows so much better through your veins so your heart is not working so hard! I am just blown away by this! Be very careful if you are on blood thinners or aspirin therapy, it could go too low! Be careful and check it often!

I do grounding or earthing as you call it.. walk around barefoot outside or I plant my feet in grass for half hour for my hbp.........Now I live in NY and it does get cold in winter so that is an issue..

I am just in awe that you can do this for an hour .. is this an hour a day??

For trouble getting a good nights sleep, try "earthing" or "grounding". Do a web search using either of these terms. There is a lot of info out there. This is so amazing. It works, and also gets your blood pressure down!

I haven't used this myself, but a lot of guys swear this works. This way to cure foot fungus was used in soviet army. Early in the morning take a walk on a grass while it is still wet, barefoot, and do this for a week. Fungus will be gone. This works on early stages of fungus. Scientific explanation for this is simple: As the water evaporates, a part of it makes ozone, which fights fungus.
