Here's what you will need: Hydrogen Peroxide 3%, Q-Tips, Band-Aids, Bag Balm, Nail File
Day #1. I cleansed the area around the mole with soap and water, then I dried it off. Next, I gently used the coarse side of the nail file to roughen up the mole - again do it gently. After that, I applied a thin coat of ___ (antiseptic balm) around the base of the mole to about 1/2 inch in diameter out from the base to keep from burning my skin with the HP. Next, I soaked a Q-Tip in Hydrogen Peroxide and applied it directly on the mole and held it there until it started to whiten and bubble a bit. It will sting a little at first, I must admit. Repeat these steps 6 times throughout the day and leave the mole uncovered if all possible to speed up the healing process. At night before going to bed, do the entire set of steps again, this time applying a band-aid at the end.
Day #2. Same as Day #1
Days #3, #4, #5: Let the mole rest and keep the area clean. Do not do anything else to the mole.
Day #6: I noticed that the mole had formed a hard, crusty top cover to it (DO NOT PICK IT OFF), so I DID NOT use the nail file this time. Instead, I applied the ___ and then HP as I did in Days #1 & #2, repeating the process 6 times throughout the day and then once again at bedtime with the band-aid.
Day #7. During my morning shower, the hard & crusty mole fell off, leaving a dark pink spot with a small crater-like hole to it. I applied ___over the entire area now...and will keep doing so until it's completely healed.
As with any health advice, please keep in mind that your results may vary from mine. I only offer this a possible solution to your mole problems.

Yes, food grade would be best. I believe that's what the OP, Kristie from Oregon, was referring to regarding the 3% she used.

I make sure that the surface of the mole was smooth by filing it down with a nail file and i applied a layer of vaseline around the area then i applied the peroxide with a cotton ball several times untill it was saturated and white .This does burn quiet a bit, but so did the the other treatment I had tried.I applied the peroxide sevearl times during the day and after I let it dry I applied aloe vera from my plant to the area to help with the burning..the next morning I noticed that the mole was less than half the size and it had turned black so I knew it working..With-in two days of using this method it was completed gone on a small patch of dry red skin and I have treated that with aloe vera..I wish I would of known about this 20 years ago..I feel more confident now that I have removed those ugly moles from my face and the cost has nothing really things that I already had at home.I have a couple of small flatted areas that I will work on next..I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to remove stubborn moles in a hurry

I dipped a q-tip in 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide and applied it to the nevus only for a few seconds and then mopped the excess with the dry end of the q-tip. It burned a little, especially on later applications. I applied liquid vitamin A a few minutes afterwards to decrease the burning and promote healing. I did 3-4 applications over a period of a week. It fell off completely after a week and has not returned. My wife was very impressed. I'm not recommended this approach, but simply reporting my personal experiment. I've been experimenting with Bill Munro's inhaling approach for a little over a week. It appears to be working well. My energy has just about doubled and I'm breathing much better at night.

THANK GOD!! WOW! I'm still shocked it worked and it took only a WEEK!!! How is this possible that people don't know about this and a truth so simple is not known by everyone is beyond me.
My story and how I used Hydrogen Peroxide 3% to cure my skin cancers: Over the period of two years two cancerous growths appeared on my face (nose); one of them was growing very slow the other one faster. Then in less then a year another one appeared on my face as well - on the side of my nose very close to my eye. That one was growing at an alarming rate. All those growths hurt with unusual intensity when touched and had tiny veins but they were not moles. They were kind of the color of my skin except more red and at times really red. I applied just about every fruit on them I could think of with what seemed no effect. I was getting worried and felt helpless. I begged God to help me and I searched a lot. I found this great site and read that there have been reports that Hydrogen Peroxide cured melanoma. I was going to try the eggplant and white vinegar remedy, but was worried about the fumes from the vinegar being so close to my eye. So I decided to try the Hydrogen Peroxide first. At first it didn't seem to have any effect at all. I was getting so worried by that point because the spot close to my eye was growing even faster and by then it was about 5 millimeters in diameter and just few months ago it was a tiny spot. In my helplessness.
HOW I USED IT:
I took a cotton swab and soaked it in Hydrogen Peroxide and kept rubbing the cancerous growth with the Hydrogen Peroxide soaked cotton swab until the growth was soaked in the Hydrogen Peroxide and was white. It stung badly, but I didn't care, I just wanted these things gone. I was so desperate, my eyes watered every time I looked at the spots on my face. After the soaking of the growths I applied cotton soaked in Hydrogen Peroxide on them. NOTE: when soaking the skin with Hydrogen Peroxide make sure you don't do it to the healthy skin, because even though it is more resistant to getting white and soaked with the Hydrogen Peroxide, it will also get white after a while. If healthy tissue gets white like that, let it air out until it regains its normal color. So do the soaking to the unhealthy tissue only or as close as you can get. After soaking and making it white apply soaked in Hydrogen Peroxide cotton ball on the growth and when the cotton gets dry, wet it with more Hydrogen Peroxide. How it worked was: the soaked cancerous growth after a while formed as crust much like what happens with a normal sore. The strangest thing is I see no scars it flattened it out like it was never there..IN A WEEK!!! Even the fast growing one!! I'M STILL IN SHOCK. I tried SO many things. THANK GOD. THANK GOD!!!

In my previous email to you, I forgot to mention:
1. I stopped drinking tap water and started drinking purified water when I was doing my Hydrogen Peroxide therapy.
2. I tried applying the Raspberry Skin Cream well known to cure skin cancer to the cancerous growths on my face for weeks, but it didn't work for me - I noticed no difference. I have heard the Raspberry Skin Cream worked well for many people after about two weeks.
3. Also I forgot to mention when I started my Hydrogen Peroxide I also started using air purifier that is running 24/7 in my bedroom.

I remove moles all the time with iodine. The few that have been resistant, I've finished off with Hydrogen peroxide a couple times a day. Note...one on my back got huge (sticking out ) after I started using iodine. I think the iodine caused mole to start ejecting from body from the base. It took awhile but finally totally went away also.

I am 18 years old and i had a mole on my cheek 5mm in diameter and slightly elevated. I wanted it desperately removed since i got it(5 years old), so when i was 15 i went to the dermatologist to have it removed. The dermatologist performed a shaving of the upper layer and then an electrocauterization(pretty painful). She told me to revisit her in 15 days. Well i went there after 15 days and guess what, the mole was still there.
She told me to come back in 3 months time because it was summer and she couldnt repeat the surgery again due to the sun. Because it would make my mole worse. I watched it over the summer getting a bit better. The swelling had gone away and it was a bit lighter. So i went to my dermatologist some days before the school started. The same procedure except for the shaving occured and i must admit that it was much better than before. The swelling went away after 1 month but i realised than not only the mole was there, under my skin this time like a big sun spot, but it was formed like clusters of small moles that looked like a melanoma, a condition also know as pseudomelanoma. In the following year i went to several plastic surgeon and all said that they couldnt remove it without leaving a very visible scar. I was so depressed, i had tried everything. From internet remedies such as lemon juice to expensive creams containing hydroquinone and other harmful chemicals only to leave my skin swelled.
I kept fighting my mole desperately till on month ago. I was doing a project on chemistry for the school. My research at that day was on oxidisers, so i came across hydrogen peroxide. That molecule was so fascinating. So i decided to research more on it. As i was searching a came across some articles about hydrogen peroxide and moles. I told my self, here is someting i havent tried yet. I searched on google and i found here at earth clinic may testimonials about mole cures and hydrogen peroxide. I was so amazed! It could even cure melanoma! So after extensive searching i decide that i should give it a try!
I went at the pharmacy and bought 3% hydrogen peroxide.
I then went home and soaked a piece of cotton a little bit bigger than my mole and kept rubbing it on the area for 10 minutes. Then i rinsed the area with water and applied a cotton soaked with aloe vera juice. I did this for 3 days 3 times a day and kept a cotton soaked with aloe juice overnight. At first hydrogen peroxide seemed that it did nothing but after the second application the area started to bubble and at the second day it started to sting. As i woke the third day a scab had formed. I decided not to mess with it because it would increase chances of scaring. After 9 applications of hydrogen peroxide for ten minutes then aloe(as much as the cotton soaked with aloe stayed wet) and then overnight applications of aloe i stopped using hydrogen peroxide. I kept using aloe overnight though until day five. Then i started applying petrolium jelly on the scab as often as i could, sometimes overnight to minimize scaring as i works like silicone sheets which are very costly(i also used petrolium jelly on the area everytime i would bath). 3 day ago(15 day after the treatment with hydrogen peroxide started) i woke up and noticed i had little to no scab and that at the place where the mole was i had skin which was a bit pink. I was stunt! I said, wow it actualy worked! And here i am 18 days after the first application completly healed :D. I am very thankful for earthclinic because it changed my life my this remedy!

I have a flat black mole between my fingers. I used generic brand 2% iodine bought in Walmart for $3ish. I put 1 drop of iodine around 6-8 times a day, randomly. I did not cover the mole. I did poke & scratch the mole before applying the iodine. Which means poking & scratching 6-8 times a day. After 2 days the mole began to scab. After 4 days the scab began to peel. I stopped iodine at that point. I didn't think anymore iodine can penetrate through the scab. After 10 days, the scab has completely peeled off but some of mole remained. Will have to do this again to completely remove the mole.
Pro: iodine method works.
Con: it takes time and effort. Also, the skin around the mole where the iodine spread became dry and discolored. See pics. I suspect with time, it will revert back to normal skin. This method will not be good for the face.

I'd really like to understand if it's safe to use Lugols 15% on moles? After reading up here I did try to apply on a cotton bud but found it almost impossible to get the stuff out of the bottle! Also, someone said to use Vaseline around the surrounding area but that made it impossible for the iodine to "stick" at all. In the end, I had to try to get some on my finger and dab directly but that resulted in iodine touching a lot of surrounding skin. Would really appreciate more detail on how to use the stuff and whether 15% lugols is okay (undiluted) every day. It did not sting at all BTW. Want to use daily on foot moles and raised breast moles and breast mass. Please help someone - need more guidance to get this right.

The 15% undiluted Lugol's will work better than the usual 1,2, or 3% solution of Iodine.

Either you need to pour it into a larger-sized bottle. Or you need to get Q-tips as opposed to trying to use your home-made cotton buds. My smallest 10 ml-sized bottle has an opening of approx. 10.5 mm, and it still works very well with my store-bought Q-tips because the latter ones are only 6 mm in diameter.

In my experience, if you work with Iodine, there is no need to use Vaseline, as Iodine, or Lugol's, will evaporate or get absorbed trans-dermally in less than 2 days, without causing any damage to the surrounding skin. The only exceptions are nails. Wear protective gloves as Iodine permanently stained one of my toenails many years ago.

Other than protecting your fingernails, I see no issue here. The excess Iodine will evaporate in 2 days or so, and despite your worries, the spilled over Iodine, or Lugol's, will not harm the surrounding skin.

If it did not sting, then it failed to work. This is where you need to gently rough up your mole. If you have thin skin, or if you have an open wound, the 15% Lugol's will sting!

There have been many who ended up with small scars after they used an emery board, and or nail file. I suggest you play it safe, be gentle on yourself, because the more damage you do to yourself, the more likely it is that there will be a small scar after it heals.
The trick is to break the skin, without actually damaging your skin.
Conversely, if you fail to break the skin, the more likely it is that the mole will remain, despite your time, effort, stress, anxiety and fears in trying to eliminate it.

Iodine removed a scarey mole on my neck. I was really worried that it was a form of skin cancer as it was blistery looking, itchy and would turn reddish. I applied Iodine once or twice a day and almost immediately it sort of turned brown and dried up like a scab. Eventually after about 1 week it just flaked off. Iodine definitely works with no pain at all.
