Reverse Osmosis Water

Posted by Sam (Commerce Twp, Michigan/USA) on 02/21/2009

Adding minerals to Reverse Osmosis Water: Since R.O water lacks any minerals, is it still necessary to add a liquid mineral to R.O water if one is taking a good quality mineral supplement- in pill form.

Also, I have been taking Apple Cider Vinegar, (2 teaspoons in 16 oz water),but since it is acidic, should I be adding baking soda to bring the ph up to 7-8 or doesn't it matter?

The first time my sister was pregnant she tried every product she could find for constipation. During her second pregnancy I suggested she drink seltzer water. I had read about it in a magazine. I also had cravings for seltzer water during my last 2 pregnancies and never had any problems with constipation. She told me she didn't like the taste and couldn't drink it. A few weeks later she let slip she was mixing it with juice and was actually regular for once.

Sinus Infections

After months of a sinus infection I found that drinking a full glass of water from a copper cup first thing in morning to be beneficial. It cleared my sinuses overnight and finally the skin around my nose started to heal after 3 days. However, one has to be persistent with this treatment - at least a month - otherwise it comes back if not all bacteria is cleared out of the body. Please make sure to eat healthy - as many have observed before too much milk, fried food and extremely spiced food can cause imbalances for the liver and set up liver stagnation (TCM). This in turn may lead to headaches and the liver cannot filter all bacteria if it is overtasked (which is one of its primary functions).

INSTRUCTIONS
Buy an Ayurvedic copper cup or any pure copper vessel - make sure it is absolutely clean (citron juice and salt will clean it naturally). Fill with water in the evening and leave over night. Drink first thing in the morning. Copper water is a natural purification for the body and kills harmful bacteria - without ever causing resistance or harmful side effects. Check the internet for more information.

Hi Karina, Thank you for this good information. I wonder if I can use a copper electrodes instead of silver one to make colloidal copper instead of colloidal silver. Do you think it will work to clear the infection? Because water poured in copper vessels will dissolve some copper ions in the water. Did you use distilled water or any water?

Sparkling Water

Posted by Wieas (London, UK) on 06/11/2014

After 20 plus years of an addiction to Diet Coke I stopped drinking it about 6 months ago. I wanted to find an alternative drink which would be healthier. I started with plain tap water but got bored of that after a few weeks. I missed the fizz too much!

Then I found bottles of sparkling spring water with a hint of lemon and lime flavour in my local supermarket. It's described on the label as:- 'Lightly carbonated lemon and lime flavoured spring water drink with fruit juice and sweetener.' Because it's got the word 'water' in it I've been convincing myself that it's healthy. Have I been kidding myself?

The ingredients are as follows:

Carbonated spring water, Lemon Juice from concentrate (2%), Citric Acid, Flavouring, Preservatives (Potassium Sorbate, Dimethyl Dicarbonate), Sweetener (Sucralose).

Your opinions on it would be gratefully received. Thanks.

Dehydration and rehydration occur over a period of time. You can't just add a lot all at once and expect your body to agree with the transition. Start with an extra cup of water with sea salt in the morning when you wake up . Then add more a few days later, until you are drinking half your body weight in ounces of water a day with added sea salt. If you drink 1/2 hour before you eat, it will allow your body to coat the stomach to prepare to allow in the acids to digest food. Over a period of time you will need to add balanced minerals. If you are in balance your body will not produce histamine, because histamine is a dehydration signal.

hi anon. I have only been using the water cure recently and I'll take your advice. I'm noticing the front of my for head hurting a bit like its pulsing; is this because of the intake of too much salt? I got my blood pressure checked by my gp and he was happy with it. anon what minerals should I be taking further down the line?

thanks for replying

There is a brand ( N.. ) of minerals that makes full spectrum minerals on amazon. There are also liquids I haven't used that others use to get the right balance. Pulsing is a sign of circulation , I got that on the forehead from another mineral as it came into balance. If you have high blood pressure, don't use table salt. If you are hyperthyroid Iodine is supposed to be bad, as far as brand or type of salt .....research

Hi, my understanding is that you should drink half you weight in ounces a day. You split the total into pints, and drink one pint of water with a pinch of sea salt 30 minutes before each meal. Then add another pint upon awakening and before you go to bed. Here's my routine (I weigh 152 lbs):

Upon rising: 1 pint

Before breakfast: 1 pint

Before lunch: 1 pint

Before dinner: 1 pint

Before bedtime: 1 pint

Splitting into pints over the course of a day makes it much easier to consume the needed amount of water.

Good luck -- the benefits of the Water Cure are almost too numerous to list!

I drank a lot of water and then found out I didn't eat enough salt. Most minerals come in salt form or through plants that absorb them from soil salts. I read the water cure book and added too much salt too soon and my ankles swelled up badly. Too much water when you are not used to it can be bad too. Your body needs some transition time. I love Dr. Batmanghelidj books because he has so many body diagrams to explain how the salt and water begin to affect dehydrated systems. A dehydrated body can take up to six months for all the systems to come into balance. Proceed with caution with anything you add to your body or environment. Too many brazil nuts (selenium rich) can make you out of balance and sick. Blessings, charity

Water Filters

Posted by Ginger (Montreal, Quebec) on 12/11/2011

IS MY WATER FILTER SYSTEM CONTAMINATED BECAUSE THE CITY HAD TO REPAIR A BROKEN PIPE?

Saturday I was ringing my Parent's doorbell (I live in the duplex above their's) noticed a paper in their mailbox. (just delivered as I saw the man putting them in mailboxes across the street). It was a "Notification of Aqueduct Service Interruption", stating that they were going to cut the water supply "shortly" to conduct an emergency repair that this work would last all day long that arrangements should be made to have enough drinking water for the household while the water service is temporarily cut. It also stated not to be alarmed as following the repairs the water may be "colored"-to let the faucets run. Also they advised to not drink water from the faucet for 48hours then wrote to boil the water for one minute! And if one had any questions to contact the Engineering Dept. on weekdays. Ahem, this happened on Saturday so there was no one to ask any questions!! Not only was I upset because I DID NOT receive a notice in my mailbox, but that the water was shut off right after delivering this paper, my Parents I were not able to be prepared for this situation, i.e., to fill up some bottles, basins etc. with emergency water. In my home, I have an under counter water filtration system (installed under the kitchen sink), with a CBR 210 water filter cartridge contained in a housing. I recently installed a new filter. I would like to know if my filter is now contaminated as a result of this - does anyone know? Should I be boiling the filtered water? Also, I am peeved that I did not get a notice in my mailbox- the man delivering the notices just put one in my Parent's mailbox! (not that I would have even known about it as we do not get mail on weekends so, I don't check the mailbox! But, it just so happened that I was outside the door at that particular moment.... Not that it made a difference anyways! :( as we were without one drop of water for many many hours! Anyways, I have experienced some "Life Lessons"! This water service "interruption" made me feel very Grateful, for all that I have! We take for granted that we are so fortunate to be able to turn on the faucet at any time to have water..... While millions of others in the world have no water at all! And also, I need to be "prepared" and always have some emergency bottled water in my house! (also, just wondering.... Is this how other cities inform their citizens that the water is to be shut off, i.e., within 10 minutes!! ?)

Thanks for any comments and replies to my question!

WARNING!

Desparate enough to try anything. After reading through some of these posts I decided to try it. Hasn't been long enough to tell if it works... That being said I continued to read on through the posts, and I feel compelled to tell you that there is such a thing as water toxicity. You must be careful not to force too much water on your body. It can kill you, so just pace your self and don't drink more than you are comfortable with. Good luck, hope you all are feeling better.

After reading Dr. Batman's findings and the transcript of his interview, I immediately got into Water Therapy. After I began to drink 2 liters of water a day with about a teaspoon of added crystal sea salt (non refined), I found that on the 3rd day my skin felt soft and supple. I shower in hot water (not warm) on cold mornings and that used to dry my skin to the point of terrible itchiness all over the body including my butts and I either had to satisfy myself (satisfaction = a scratch for every itch) or I had to apply mosturizing cream all over my body. I could see dry dead cells fall of my chest and abdomen area every time I removed my banian or T-Shirt.

I no longer have any visible dry and/or flaky skin and the skin feels smooth & supple. My butts feel very soft to the touch. My skin now glows and is radiant. I guess I am done with moisturizers (no more of harmful chemicals to be rubbed on my skin). Also, I sleep better at night.

Water therapy cured my sinus congestion. I seemed to have gotten a sinusitis after a bad cold 3 months ago. Tried the tomato tea and aple cider vinegar but they were good only temporarily. After about 3 weeks of apple cider vinegar my nasal congestion was worse. Somebody posted a water therapy cure in my egroup and I remembered this. Tried it and it really worked! After 4 days of water therapy I'm breathing much more freely. Just concerned about those who haven't found a cure yet.

I have had severe IBS for 6 years. Before that time I could eat anything, never a stomach problem and my health was excellent. Since then I have tried every diet there is with the results that if I eliminated anything acid including citric acid which is in a lot of drinks and foods I could get by but I was still severely affected by IBS. Just one week ago I decided to try only drinking bottled water because I suspected my tap water even though we have a filtration system. I have not felt this good in 6 years. I am able to eat things (chocolate) that I haven't eaten in years. I have not been able to eat any fruits, any juices, most vegetables, in the last 6 years. I have not started to put all of them back in my diet yet as I am taking things slowly but this has been a HUGE improvement. The water I have been drinking is from a natural spring but nothing expensive (64 cents a gallon). Drinking bottled water has also improved my husbands health as he has had a skin irritation for several years that doctors could not diagnose. We both thinks it's the chlorine in the water system. By the way it isn't just the water in Florida causing the problem because we both had our health problems begin in Delaware where we also had a water filter on the tap.

I've suffered from a bad knee most of my life. If it isn't bone on bone, it sure feels like it. While nothing really helps, when I do not drink plenty of water, the pain and swelling get real bad when I stand or walk for any duration. Have been taking ACV/bs for 2 weeks now and so far no relief. But it is working on my Blood Pressure so I'll keep taking that. I just need a new knee.

Response to Renee with bad knee:

I have osteoarthritis in both knees. It was crippling. I resolved this painful condition by doing the following daily or regularly, depending:

1 - ACV in water with baking soda (cures almost everything)

2 - Oil pulling, 1 tbsp sesame seed oil for 20-30 minutes (removes toxins, cures almost everything)

3 - 64 oz filtered water daily with sea salt, 32 oz first thing in morning

4 - Turmeric spice, 1/2 tsp daily in cereal, soup or other food (inflammation, antioxidant, antimutagenic, pain, arthritis and joint ailments, numerous cures)

5 - Rosemary Tea (arthritis, joints, inflammation, pain, relaxation)

6 - Astragalus (antibiotic, fatigue, osteoporosis, antioxidant and more, USE PRECAUTION of 3 weeks on, 1 week off)

7 - Coconut Oil (internal-external uses, antiviral, antifungal, eliminates parasites, fatigue, numerous cures)

8 - Healthy diet (NO to wheat, dairy, soy, beef, sugar, refined salt, additives, prepared foods; YES plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables daily, organic fish and chicken; nutrients; minerals)

9 - Sun Gazing http://solarhealing.com

10 - Grow your own garden vegetables and herbs, if possible, or buy them fresh locally.

This regimen should relieve the pain within a week. You will also relieve many other conditions and remove them altogether if followed for the rest of your life. Be sure to read about them before doing these or other treatments. Understand what causes an ailment, as well as understand why the cure works. This is what has worked for me when diagnosed with arthritis, asthma, sinusitis, bronchitis, bacterial infection (deadly), infected teeth/abcess, overweight, nerves, flexibility, depression, poor vision, poor circulation and many other conditions too numerous to mention here. All have been cured with this regimen within 6 months.

This is what works for me. Start slow and add treatments as you read about them. You will come up with your own program that works for you. Never give up. Earth Clinic is where it all began for me, and the place I always return for answers. They have been a blessing and miracle in my life. The answers are here.

My husband and his father consistantly drink a gallon jug of water a day. If they didn't have grey hair, you would not know they were older men because they have NO wrinkles (husband 60 looks 35 w/o grey; father-in-law is 82 but looks 60). My husband brushes his teeth -1 times a day. And unless he is eating too many sweets (rarely) or too much meat (Texas BBQ lover), his breath does not smell. He has no detectable plac and no cavities; he's never been to a dentist and has all his teeth firmly lodged in. His teeth stay NORMAL white; His skin is never dry and, like his father's, Is a golden canvas of soft suppleness. He's visited the doctor 2 times since he was 25 (peanut allergy symptoms). He attributes his good health to the fact that he was breastfed, a low sugar eater, And that he drinks copious amounts of water (Any kind; doesn't matter to him). Also, I noticed, after finishing his last bite at a meal where he drinks 1.5 - 2 glasses of water, he swishes this teeth with a last swallow of water. He and his father have been doing that since I've known them.

I, on the other hand, have rarely drunk over 3 cups of water a day and it now shows with my skin being constantly dehydrated, dry, itchy and lined. My teeth have suffered as well. Needless to say, I'm FINALLY following his footsteps and my skin, breath, and teeth (I'm oil pulling too) has greatly improved.

Hi Cat,

I am impressed reading about your husband and his father`s water therapy testimonies. You wrote in 2011. I hope to receive a reply from you even though it is already 9 years now. I just began water therapy. I take 1.5 liter water one hour after my morning workout. You mentioned your husband and his father take 1 gallon daily which about 4000ml. I am puzzled as how to incorporate such a large amount in daily schedule especially because I always try to keep a gap of 1 hour before and after meal in order not to dilute the gastric juice to ensure proper digestion of food. Please would you be able to tell me their daily schedule of drinking water from morning to night and the amount they drink each time. Looking forward to your reply. Thank you in advance, Cat.

Caution is the first word I feel led to say. Water must be added slowly as with anything and also one must add balance of salt~ minerals for that water to wash away as it comes through the body. Minerals hold water in place . If you want to use lots of water read Dr. Batmanghelidj work on water and salt Water and minerals do have amazing affects on our bodies and it takes about 6 months to properly rehydrate and remineralize a dehydrated body. Blessings, Charity. Ps....I learned this all the hard way.

I first got GER...D 5 years ago at age 75. The Dr. wrote GER on the paper, the clerk added a D to make it match the TV commercials. Was prescribed Nexium, took it for two weeks while researching acid reflux on the web. I concluded that acid is necessary for proper digestion. A Dr, Spreen wrote that the problem is low acid, especially for older people, he recommended juicing some ginger and taking a teaspoon a day. I found the ACV info and tried it with some success. I tried raspberry vinegar, it helps also. I tried Betain HCL pills and Twin Labs super enzyme caps with food, if it is fatty two pills work well. putting any vinegar on food helps me. Some people dip bread in fancy vinegars. Dr. Batmanj??? cured everything with water while he was in jail. If I have an acid attack during the day I start drinking water and keep on drinking it until the pain stops; it has always worked, sometimes it takes three half liter bottles. The LEF site claims Limonine cures some people.

I've been a vegetarian for many years. And although I'm not 100% vegan, I rarely eat dairy (except yougurt). I get plenty of exercise and I don't smoke and I rarely drink (red wine once a month). In spite of all this, I have been suffering from CFS for the last 7 years. Through diligence and hard work, many of the symptoms have slowly faded away. Recently, I got one of Kevin Trudeau's books and in that book he talks alot about the wonders of apple cider vinegar and pure distilled water. I've also researched this on the net and it all seems to be true. So for the last two weeks I've been drinking 8 full glasses of distilled water everyday and I've been taking 2 tablespoons of vinegar a day. I've noticed some obvious improvements. The most significant thing that I noticed is that I no longer have such dry skin and my scalp isn't flaky anymore. Also, it seems I'm sleeping better and I don't crave sweets has been lessened. Nonetheless, in spite of all the good news, I've been experiencing something that's totally unexpected and very unusual. I'm constipated. I've never had a problem with constipation. Even in my worst days with CFS I was never constipated. But now, every other day it seems I'm struggling to get something to come out. This is really baffling to me because I'm drinking more water than ever before and I have more energy, yet I'm suffering from constipation. Do you know what may be causing this?
