How to Take Apple Cider Vinegar for Asthma
Ideally, find a high quality organic and raw brand of apple cider vinegar. Most larger grocery stores carry this now, as do virtually all health food stores.
The amount needed to help asthma varies quite a bit. Some of our readers need as little as 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar daily to be free of symptoms. Others require as much as 2 tablespoons twice a day to be symptom free.
Start with less and increase if you need to. Apple cider vinegar can be added to water or juice. Some add honey to the vinegar and water. Local honey is ideal as it is another natural remedy for asthma.
Side Effects of Apple Cider Vinegar for Asthma
Apple cider vinegar can cause side effects in some people. Some find it causes heartburn or a stomach ache. Headache, dizziness and diarrhea are other side effects that have been reported. If you start out with a teaspoon twice a day and work up from there you are less likely to experience side effects. Always monitor your symptoms and make sure a new remedy is agreeing with you.
