Cranberry juice is a popular natural solution to bladder infections. For some, cranberry juice is an adequate remedy. Cranberries prevent bacteria from adhering to the bladder wall.
Drink 4 ounces at least 4 times daily of pure cranberry juice for an acute bladder infection.
Make sure to read the label on the juice to ensure that cranberry juice is the only ingredient. Many cranberry juice brands contain other juices, sugars and artificial sugars, including sucralose.
Cranberry capsules are a good alternative as they easy to take and there is no concern about added sugar or artificial sugars.
