I decided to remove my mole on my face using apple cider vinegar. It worked of course, but there is still a little bump where the mole use to be. Should I keep applying the ACV or will it fade away also?

After reading and watching everything on the net about home removal of moles I decided to embark on my own home experiment. I have three raised ones on the right side of my face near my ear. The more I read the more I realized my "moles" are not ordinary moles but sebborhic keratosis. I'm day 20 in on this experiment with ACV. Initially I just applied an ACV Q-tip on the moles a couple of times per day, but after about 10 days I started sleeping with an ACV soaked cotton bandaged to my face. This has definitely helped speed up the process. The SK is still there, but much flatter. During the day I've been applying a bit of castor oil mixed with baking soda to it. It leaves my face a bit gritty feeling but I didn't want to smell like ACV at work. The castor oil/baking soda seems to help soften it up.
I'm encouraged and will continue with this treatment, and wanted to share with the rest of you to encourage you to remain patient. Depending on the size of the mole or SK it's probably not going to clear up in just a few days.

I've had a mole on my face for as long as I could remember! It was tiny and unnoticeable when I was a child but grew bigger and darker as time went on. I've always hated it ever since I got teased about it throughout middle school and high school. I've been so insecure most of my life so I decided to just get it over with and get it removed. I was about to set up an appointment with the dermatologist when I came across this apple cider vinegar method. I thought, "why not?" doesn't hurt to try right? I purchased a brand of ACV with 5% acidity and began applying it on 2/20. I first put chapstick around the surrounding skin and later, vaseline. Then I got a q-tip and soaked it with Apple Cider Vinegar and applied it on the mole after I "roughed it up" a bit using my finger nail. I didn't let it bleed though! I taped a cotton ball soaked with Apple Cider Vinegar on it and kept repeating the process. I had school and work so I didn't get to do the process consistently. I noticed that it got much flatter after each day and my mole was pretty raised! Over the course of the treatment, I decided to just scrape the mole with an emory board, apply vaseline over surrounding skin, and apply Apple Cider Vinegar every half hour or so using a q-tip. I didn't tape anything over anymore, just simply rubbed Apple Cider Vinegar with a q-tip for 10 mins straight and left it alone for about half an hour. Long story short, the mole was half off by earlier yesterday and I know I probably shouldn't have done this but I peeled the rest of the mole off (which, of course, caused bleeding) but I cleaned it up and the skin around it doesn't look too bad thanks to the vaseline. There is now a small crater where the mole used to be and it's really whitish. I'm hoping it'll get better with time so I'll update later!

Okay so it scabbed and the scab peeled off today. The hump of the mole is still there... Now my mole is flesh colored with a white ring. Ugh!!! I will continue with the vinegar into next week, if it doesn't get better... I'm calling the dermatologist!!!

Ive been using ACV on two raised moles on my face. I began treating them on monday night. I scratched them with a needle, covered the surrounding skin with vaseline, then soaked a cotton ball in ACV and taped one to each mole overnight. When I woke up, I removed the cotton balls and noticed they had both begun turning black and had got flatter. During the day on tuesday, I scratched both moles again with a needle and massaged ACV on them (using a cotton bud) for about a minute. (i did this 4 times). I then repeated the overnight process (did this for 3 nights)
It is now thursday night and my moles have shrunk, are black and are scabbing slightly. When I went to apply more ACV, the burning pain was too much and I decided to leave it for tonight. Instead I massaged them with warm water and a cotton bud and they started scabbing over. I dont think they are ready to fall off yet though. Anyway, I decided to apply tea tree oil to my moles before going to bed tonight, in hope that this will help them heal, dry up and scab off finaly. Was I right to apply tea tree oil or will this just make it worse? also, I have been avoiding leaving the house because they look quite awful right now, what can I do to make these scabs fall off asap!?

Hi, I have used the garlic & Apple Cider Vinegar method multiple times, but once the mole is removed, it always returns again! I dont want to say it's a mole but black raised skin always reappears to where I applied the acv(it's bigger than the original mole also). It seems like it's pretty loose skin, but it becomes soft and loses its hardness and scab like qualities as it heals. I have been applying vitamin E on it and my mole came off about 3 days ago, but should I keep applying vitamin e on this "mole" to see if it heals? Thanks!

Last thursday I started applying cider vinegar (just normal cheap one from supermarket, it actually only says cider vinegar on the bottle) on my 2 raised and big moles on my face. First, I did what everyone said on this website, soak a piece of cotton wool and taped it on, but it wasn't very accurate and Apple Cider Vinegar dripped or wasn't perfectly placed on my mole. Even though I put vaseline all around my mole it still burned (not too bad, but very uncomfortable) SO since then I have just been using a cotton bud, soaking it in Apple Cider Vinegar and dabbing my moles and holding it on for about a minute or until my arm aches! (still with vaseline around my moles)as I am on my holidays this is very managable for me. I have being doing this a few times throughout each day. It is now Wednesday (6 days) and so far one mole is very sore, it has shrunk and is black and I think it's scabbing. I really do hope it falls off as others had said. The other mole is similar but hasn't made as much progress. Layers of the mole has come off in the shower though :) Around the mole the skin is pink and soft. I feel quite disheartened as it's on my face but perhaps I need to give it more time. I will update on any progress. ANY ADVICE FROM ANYONE? Should I keep adding Apple Cider Vinegar OR should I just leave it completely dry so it scabs?? Thank you in advance :-)

So i tried this, and it did remove my mole, BUT it wasn't completely off, so now its a big scar with tiny moles under the skin, but atleast it worked ! :)
Can I remove my other mole by doing this process SLOWlY, (like maybe weeks or months depending) and only dab it in the daytime when I am awake and can continue wetting my mole with ACV ? Can I also do this on a FLAT MOLE without getting a scar ? Help pls ? Has anyone tried this on a small flat mole, and was not scarred ??? Thanks in advance ! xD

I recently used Apple Cider Vinegar on a mole of mine on my hand, which scabbed up and revealed a "crater" like hole, which eventually healed. I kept tissue soaked in ACV on the mole at all times for about a week. I repeated this process on another mole of mine but replaced the tissue more often and upped the concentration. At first it reacted as the previous mole did but then a little of the moles outer layer fell off, revealing a small brownish crater. My skin was irritated by the ACV as with the previous mole. The crater is brownish in colour with a black spot around the middle. I think the brown area is the base of the mole and the black is the true root, which appears to be very deep. I stopped with the ACV because the skin irritation was too great, and I thought that the brown would go away, so I coated the mole and skin in honey to speed up the healing process and soothe the skin. Two days after I stopped the wound is healing but the crater is still brown and very large, as if I unearthed a much bigger mole below the surface. It appears very deep. My question is, should I keep going with the ACV and risk damaging my skin, or should I let it heal, leaving me with a much bigger mole? Please help!
