My son had molluscum and then my daughter contracted it as well. With my son, they were on his side and spreading, no help from the doctor. The ACV worked well for him. Swabbed over them each evening and covered with large bandaids did the trick - gone within a week. My daughter had them on the backs of her legs, knees and bottom. The ACV was too harsh for her skin. After more research I tried using iodine. I used Liqui-kelp and Postassium iodide ( ran out of the liqui-kelp and had the other on hand). I put a few drops, rub it in and cover with bandaid that the pad is soaked in Iodine. It worked great for her - they were gone within a week of treatment. Bear in mind that the bumps get ugly and look irritated, then turn black in the middle and then they go away.. For both of my kids they left pock marks but you can't see them unless you are up close. They are both molluscum free. Hope this helps!

Blessings~

This is seriously the most horrrendous thing I've dealt with. I cry literally every day because of this. I feel gross and less confident as I have it on my genital area. It sucks. I was prescribed imiquimod which is like aladara and it worked. But I had a few more bumps so I went to the doc to have her scrape them off. She did. The a few days later I saw more pop up. This virus is terrible. I still have been using imiquimod. I tried ACV a couple nights ago and it seemed to have made some smaller. So I'm going to continue this tonight. I really hope this is the answer for me. I can't deal with this anymore. I've literally thought about just offing myself. But, hopefully this ACV will work. I hate having to deal with this.

I found this site after my son was diagnosed with molluscum on his face. The dr recommended CompoundW. However, I decided to try to ACV treatment and I cannot be more happy with the results.

I used a piece of a cotton ball moistened with full strength ACV, held in place with a bandaid. After the first night, the molluscum spots already showed signs of dying- the center turned black. We continued the treatment almost nightly for about three weeks. The area does become irritated and reddened, so we either cut the ACV with water, or only did the treatment every other night. Within three weeks they were completely gone, and only red marks remained- these lasted a few weeks but are now mostly gone and I expect will fade completely.

One excellent discovery: my other son had a plantar wart on his toe so I decided to try the treatment on that as well, and within the same amount of time his wart was GONE. We had had trouble with warts in the past and had a heck of a time getting rid of them-- months and months. I wish we had known about the ACV before.

I am amazed that my son's doctor had never heard about it.

I would like to share my experience with this thing. I had to put a real fight to get read of it and through trial and error figure out what works and what not.

I had it for very long 7 month, first couple of month I did not do anything about it bc there were just two small pimples in my bikini area and I was not sure what it was. At that point I kept shaving and that was a huge mistake bc it allowed it to spread all over my private area. So lesson # 1 - whatever you do - DO NOT SHAVE!!! .

I went to dr and once I knew what it was, also started reading about to see what works best. I tried following remedies that did not work for me at all - Zicam, Emued, tea tree oil. Zicam & Emued just did not do anything at all. Got really bad burn from tree oil that I had to treat with antibiotic ointment, molluscum remained.

Finally I figured out system how to fight that thing:

#1 go to dermatologist every two weeks to have all visible molluscum freezed. Note to tell your dr not to be too careful and actually get them pretty good. Treat every single pimple with cotton swab and hold it down a little longer. After my first visit, my dr was very careful and just touched them slightly, it burned them, but not completely, so on my second visit I asked her to go at it, and she held down each pimple for at list 5 sec with cotton swab. That worked much better and in about week all pimples she treated were gone. Don't worry about scarring. Yes it will look bad for about a month, but now, few month later scars are almost not visible and I am sure in few months they will be completely gone. You will not get real "scars", it looks more like skin discoloration and it evens out with the rest of the skin during just few months. So if you apply freezing method correctly it works!

#2 The problem for me was new pimples kept showing up. In between my visits to dr every time when new ones showed up, I treated them with ACV - used paper towel to make a little pads, soaked them in ACV and taped over night. Then in the middle of day I tried my best to do the same for about another hour. In between, applied Polysporin ointment to reduce irritation (my dermatologist told me not to use Neosporin bc it might actually help spreading molluscum). While applying ACV treatment few things might happen - 1) pimple might turn black - this is a best case scenario bc after that it just dries out and falls off 2) it might turn white - all gross stuff is raised to the top. In this case I squeezed it out to the point when it starts bleeding (that means all molluscum is gone), apply Polysporin and then continue with ACV until it scabs. NOTE!!! Have to be VERY careful when doing this not to touch anything else bc it would spread like crazy. I wore gloves and constantly applied alcohol on it and in area all around it to make sure nothing is getting infected. My advice to buy big box with disposable alcohol swaps. Open bunch of them before you start, and throw away every swap after you treat each area. I would go thought at list 20 swaps for every molluscum treatment.

So to summarize -

1. go to you dermatologist to freeze it off. Don't be discouraged if it's not all gone after first or second treatment. Keep going until it all gone. It took me 8 visits.

2. Use ACV in between your visits

3. Treat irritation from ACV with Polyisporin ointment.

You will beat that thing!!! Don't listen anyone who tells you just to leave it alone, bc it will spread!!!

Good luck!!!

I wanted to post my 11 year old son's experience with Molloscum Contagiosum. He had it for about three months on his upper thigh before I realized (and confirmed with pediatrician) what he had. I read many, many hours on the internet for what to do and agree with ACV as a first course of action. I do have a caveat. ACV will burn the skin and my son's problem was the larger pox were surrounded by tiny ones, which many people don't mention. So I freaked out when I did the ACV and then more seemed to pop out! I kept applying the ACV and I cleaned out the larger pox as some people have posted. Then the ACV began to redden his skin so I switched to CLOVE OIL. I applied clove oil to the entire area affected (always with gloved hands and q-tips) and covered it with a cloth bandage and taped it on. He smelled like a Christmas cookie. After three weeks his leg has some scabs but no new pox. I also gave him TAGAMET (Walmart generic). I think we will be in the clear soon. Here is a quick breakdown of what I did following what people have already posted:

1. apply ACV to large pox -- don't freak out if more come out just keep treating them; once a large pox is cleaned out apply triple antibiotic ointment for a couple of days to avoid infection

2. if skin becomes irritated and you have cleaned out the larger pox switch to 100% Clove Oil

3. give generic Tagamet, I used the dosage of 30mg per kg of body weight, which seemed a little high for his 105 lbs. so he took 1000 mg - 1200 mg (5-6 200mg tablets daily)

I hope this helps.

Our 4 yr old has MC on his eye lid and under his eyes in clusters can you put ACV that close to his eyes? they are right up close to lower eye lids? Would dabbing ACV all day and just leaving it without a cover work? He has had this since Feb 2012 and doctor wont do anything because too close to eyes and doesnt want to take the risk.

I was so frustrated after my 4 year old got molluskum on his arms, chest and legs. Dermatologist had nothing to offer except a bill. After trying several creams ordered online and even salycilic acid wart remover which was painful and didnt work I discovered ACV. I used it full strength and just rubbed each spot with a soaked qtip a couple time a day. It's been about a month and they are almost completely gone. Wonderful painless and cheap.

We tried the Apple Cider Vinegar for my 4 year old. She has been dealing with MC for at least a year. Her older brother had it first and his went away with in 6 months. Hers however would get infected. And a few weeks ago when I noticed they had started spreading "down below" I decided I needed to try to get rid of them. I used those small circle band aids and applied the Apple Cider Vinegar right to the pad on them then applied the band aids to her spots. All it took was 3 applications overnight and removing the band aids during the day. The majority of her 30+ MC had died. I gave her a few days of a break and then we tackled the remaining 6 or so spots over two more nights. It is amazing... For the first time in a VERY long time she is spot free!!!! It has only been a week since then so I can't tell you if this is a cure. But even if it isn't and some spots come back, I now have a way to treat them before they spread. One tip I would give is to give Tylenol over it as well if your child complains that the treated spots are itchy or burn a little. Just one dose of Tylenol did the trick and my kiddo had no problems sleeping. I'm so happy I found this website!!!

Hi. My son had mc from age 13 to 18 months, and we were able to successfully get rid of them. We tried waiting them out (really bad idea), Zymaderm (phase II included), and liquid nitrogen and failed previously. Waiting them out only made it worse - they kept spreading, Zymaderm prevented the spreading, but the bumps did not go away, and liquid nitrogen was effective in killing the virus, although you have to take multiple trips to kill newly formed bumps and stay ahead of the newly forming bumps. Do not bother with duck tape. It may prevent the spread, but that is about it.

To successfully get rid of ms, use the following steps as recommended by my dermatologist:
1) Go to your dermatologist or pediatrician and get your child diagnosed with mc.
2) If the doctor says to wait them out, it is time for you to take action. You have to remove the white sac that contains the virus by popping the bump like a pimple. Do this without rupturing the sac and exposing more virus to the skin. This will hurt, and will cause bleeding. Cover with band aid if desired. Wear gloves or wash your hand very thoroughly because the virus may spread to others. Wash area with rubbing alcohol. Wash all clothes, towels, blankets, and bedding.
3) Repeat step 2 with new bumps daily until they are all gone and no new ones form.

MC is a virus like chicken pox. Your child will eventually be able to fight it off by making antibodies. I also looked online to find remedies and am now responding to forums with what I found actually works. Hope this helps.

I was very pleased to come across this information. When my eldest was about 4 she suffered this condition and I waited as the Doctor suggested, for it to go away on its own. Well it spread considerably from her legs and on up her tummy and was quite unsightly, causing distress even for a 4 year old. It took about 9 months to disappear. That was years ago, but when I noticed some spots on my son's legs a month or so ago I had a look for some alternative solutions to waiting.

The ACV treatment worked after just 4 treatments. I washed the area carefully, wearing gloves as it is contagious. Then I surrounded each spot with zinc oxide to protect the surrounding skin, soaked a small cotton ball (the size of my little finger nail) in ACV diluted to 50% with water, squeezed it out then placed it over the spot, then covered the affected area with a band-aid and left it over night. In the morning we removed the band-aids and allowed the skin to be uncovered for the day and then repeated the treatment again the next night. The bumps were noticeably reducing after 2 treatments, and on the 3rd day had developed a little black spot in the middle. I didn't try to squeeze them or anything, just repeated the treatment, and then by the look of the spots which were pretty much gone, stopped the treatment, and now there is no sign of any spots. I would happily recommend this procedure to anyone, but caution you that the ACV is acidic, so the zinc oxide to protect the unaffected skin is useful, as is the dilution of 1:2 so it is not too strong.

Clove oil worked in a couple days and doesn't hurt or damage the skin. Did the ACV and it worked okay, but just hurt my 2 yr old too much. Tried zymaderm, didn't work. Tried clove oil applied directly too spots (my bottle was over 8 yrs old so I applied direct, but probably dilute with carrior oil if new(some say their oil is strong enough undiluted to blister. So be careful, don't get it too strong). It should only be a mild tingle if anything when applied. First the spot gets a little raised and inflamed around it. Then the horrible little spots get a dark spot in the center within a couple days of 2 applications per day and fall out. Killed them dead. Finally something that works, if I had only known at the beginning, he would have only had 15 spots to treat not 50. Clove oil, who knew.

After noticing some small bumps on my 6 year daughter's left side, I took her to the doctor. Like most of feedback on this site, her pediatrician told us what it was, and that the only thing we could do was to let it run it's course.

Well after about 2 months, it only got worse... Her skin was red and raw (probably from scratching) and several more bumps appeared. After doing some research, I came across the thread on this site, and decided to give ACV a try.... Well it worked... Each night for about a week I cut up a cotton ball into 4 small pieces, and put some ACV on each piece. I used waterproof bandages to secure them in place, and let her sleep with them on. Then in the morning, I would remove the bandages... Over time, the bumps turned white, then black, then scabby, then one by one all the scabs fell off. Her skin is still healing from the ACV and bumps, and I'm using Neosporin and Vitamin E oil in the morning and evenings to help her skin heal, however she's certainly on the road to recovery.

I would just like to post the progress I have made with my 6 year old to cure her MC with ACV. She has had them for over 10 months. The dermatologist said they would go away on their own, but could spread since she has eczema. I am a nurse and appreciate alternative or homeopathic medicine. The dermatologist told me that they could burn each one of the MC off, but it will hurt and they might come back. After hours of research, I decided to try the ACV suggesstions. I just wanted to post what I did. It took over a month, but all of the MC are gone!

1. Apply Zinc Oxide to all skin surrounding the MC to protect it from the ACV. ACV will burn and dry skin out, so keep it off healthy skin as much as possible.

2. Soak cotton ball with ACV. Cut small pieces to cover the MC. Apply soft roll gauze, then coban over the whole affected area, and leave it on over night. Take it off in the morning and shower. Be sure to use a new towel with each shower and do not rub the MC, just pat dry or air dry. I did this for 2 nights. The MC appeared to be wet and white. Some of them turned black also. I let the skin air out when no treatment was on the skin.

3. After all of the original MC were dead, there was an outbreak of all of the ones that must have been dormant. I treated them by dabbing a ACV soaked Q-tip on each one, 3 times a day, until they turned white or scabbed. I also added a cup of the ACV to the bath water once a week throughout this whole process.

4. I used Triamcinolone cream to the reddened areas of healthy skin that was damaged by the ACV.

5. After all the MC were obviously dead and dry, I began to put Vit E oil directly to the areas to help the healing process. These MC can leave awful purple scars. I did this twice a day for a week.

6. The skin was extremely dry after the treatment and my daughter wanted to scratch all of the time. After I knew the MC were all gone, I began to put Eucerin cream to the dry skin twice daily.

7. All of her MC are gone and the skin is nearly healed. I bathe her in Aveeno oatmeal bath once a week and keep the area moisturized.

This may not work for everyone, but it did for me. It took a little over a month, but I cannot see one MC anywhere. She has some scars, but I think they will fade. My advice about this treatment: be patient, do not pick them as I saw them spread when my daughter scratched, do not get ACV into open areas or on good skin, expect more to appear after the start of treatment, and be persistent.

My 6 year old daughter has had this for a few months on her left side. At first I thought it was skin tags but I quickly changed my mind when the tags were spreading into different locations. Like any good mother I turned to Dr. Google and discovered that she has MC. I have not taken her to the doctor but have started treating her with ACV for the last 2 days. She has about 30 bumps - most of them on her upper thigh, a few on her torso and just a couple on her inner arm. I apply 2-3 cotton pieces at nite and so far it looks very promising. I also give her a bath in a cup of ACV for about 30 min. She doesn't seem to mind. I also keep the bumps that are red and look like they are red and raised covered with a baindaid that has been treated with antibiotic cream. This seems to work well and usually within 12 hours the bump has opened up and the bump looks MUCH better already. We have had a couple of very infected bumps and this is why I'm doing this - mainly to prevent this from happening - and to prevent other bumps from forming. She is tolerating it well but doesn't like to take the bandaids off in the morning. I'm hoping we don't have to do this for a very long time because the adhesive of the bandaids is very irritating. The spots we have treated so far have all turned black though. It's not a pretty sight with all the redness, bumps and black spots. however - I'm hopefull we'll be seeing the end of this soon.

About 2 yrs ago I noticed my oldest son had some small bumps around his shoulder area. Didn't think much of it we live in South Alabama so bug bites are very common. I went on life as normal BATHING MY KIDS TOGETHER.... After a few more weeks I noticed that my oldests bumps had spread & a friend suggested that it might be MC. I had no idea what that was so I took him to the Dr & same story as the other people. However he did tell me that it was highly contagious. My heart sunk knowing that I had already exposed my two other kids to the virus. My sweet baby girl showed signs about a month after seeing the Dr. Hers however were between her legs up high. She has battled over a yr now. It has been painful for her and heartbreaking for me. I asked the dr everytime we visited if there was anything we could do to stop the progression. You see where hers are they multiply like crazy. I finally got sick of hearing "just let it run it's course". My baby was getting scarred in a delicate place & not to mention the pain.

I turned to the web & found out about ACV. Now it was not an easy task getting my 5yr to let me put the treatment in this very sensitive place. My oldest was game & was willing to do whatever it took. My youngest 3 has one on his behind & one on his arm but after watching my daughter's reactions was not too happy to let me try the treatment on him... We solidered on. After the first round the biggest of my daughter's bumps are gone my oldest son's have all gone & baby boy made it only 2 days so more is needed there. Baby girl is going to need more treatments as well. But I must say the information i've received here has been invaluable. I hope that a mom somewhere reads this & gets help for there baby's before 1 & 1/2 yrs passes with no help.

#1 don't allow legs to rub together at all!

#2 make sure the area drys completely before dressing

#3 don't poke or pop them!

#4 let them see the progress so they maybe more willing to go along with the treatments

#5 pray over those suckers!

Im a 23 year old sexually active male. I noticed 2 bumps on my penis 1 week ago and immediately thought it was warts (HPV). I went to see a doctor at a planned parenthood and she told me it was not warts, definitely not herpes, but looked characteristic of Molluscum with the dimple in the center, however I left undiagnosed and she recommened me see a dermatologist. SO I essentially paid the doc to give me a new disease to google. I decided to forgo the dermatologist due to the wait periods before appointments and because I have read that their treatments are mostly ineffective or take too long to work.

After finding Earth Clinic, I have a newfound hope that I can rid myself of these molluscum. By the way this site is EXCELLENT!!!

I found an article on the web from a dermatology journal (there is a good amount of jargon in the article, so it may be difficult to comprehend for those unversed in medical or biological terms. I myself am a college graduate and have grown accustomed to reading scientific articles, so it was a good informative read for me.)

http://dermatology-s10.cdlib.org/92/reviews/molluscum/diven.html

I learned that the virus only exists inside of the papules (bumps), it is thought that this is how MCV evades detection from the immune system. As I began to learn more about the disease, I felt more empowered... Knowledge truly is power! You'll notice in the article that it lists several treatment options, with evisceration of the lesions being the most effective method. The article also gives details on effectiveness of other treatments.

...Back to my story, so a day or 2 after seeing the doctor, I noticed 2 more bumps on my penis. The bumps are scattered with two on the top side of my penis and 2 more on the underside. I decided to start ACV treatment since I havent been officially diagnosed with MCV and since there are only 4 at the moment, which is easily manageable. I used small pea sized pieces of cotton, soaked in ACV, and taped them to the lesions with band aids. I only do this overnight as I sleep, and after two days, 3 of the 4 have turned dark grey and look a bit scabbed. The 1 bump that has resisted the treatment is very small compared to the others and may not even be MCV at all.

Now, I work fulltime, outside and sweat alot, so I was next concerned with auto-innoculation or spreading of the virus. I read somewhere (possibly on EC) that you can cover the bumps with fingernail polish to help prevent spread. I use fast drying clear fingernail polish and dab it on the bumps with a Q-tip, being sure to use a new swab for each bump, and never dip a swab in the polish after touching the bump.

My routine is as follows for ACV treatment:

1) clean the area with soap/water

2) wipe areas with rubbing alcohol, then peroxide, then alcohol again, then iodine.

3) Next I take the small cotton ball soaked in ACV and tape it down directly over the bumps. Then I wrap my penis with bandaids (2 or 3) to secure the taped cotton balls.

4) go to sleep

5) wake up, remove bandages and note progress

6) clean areas with alcohol, then peroxide, then alcohol, then iodine.

7) now Im ready to cover the bumps since I have to go to work and want to prevent spread. I dab the nail polish directly on the bumps and let dry (I like to give it at least 2 coats). This may sting a bit, even more than the ACV, but to me its worth a few seconds of pain, after the polish dries you cant tell its there.

8) When I get home from work, I wipe the areas with nail polish remover, then take a swower. I use paper towels to dry off my genitals and dry the rest of my body with a towel.

*Helpful hint, try to avoid getting any of the chemicals in the urethra, because it will burn!

I have my fingers crossed that I dont have any new bumps come up, but like I said it has been a week since I noticed them. I will not resume sexual activity until I have gone at least a month without bumps.

I am also taking vitamin C to help boost the immune system. This will be helpful in the case that I have to pop the bumps myself. The article that I referenced says that after popping the bumps and draining them, a massive immuno response occurs due to the injury from popping the bump (this is good), which will then kill any remaining virus partices in the lesion. This makes sense because the virus is sitting, undetected in the bump, but as soon as you puncture the skin, your body will react and the immune system will "investigate" whats going on at the injury site, and the immune system will then be able to find the virus that was previosly undetected and destroy it!

I will have to provide an update sometime soon, but I am currently remaining positive in thought and suggest that you do the same as well. Stressing the disease will not make it go away, so why stress it? Learn as much as you can on the subject and it will feel less devastating as you realize that this is just a puny little coward virus that our bodies are well equipped to destroy!

Apple Cider Vinegar for Molluscum Contagiosum: 5/24/12 My son of 3 yr was diagnose with MC two month ago the doctor told us just let the MC to take its course and it will go away in about 6 to 12 months. My son started with one bump on his stomach and then two on his arm. I decide to treat him with ACV. I bathe him in water and two cup of ACV and dip makeup pad in the ACV and tape the pads to the bumps overnight. After the first bath and over night pads; the next morning they were white and the second morning the bumps were still white. But on the third night half of the bump on his stomach was turning black and fourth night it was completely black. On the fifth day my son complained that it was hurting him when I place the pads. So I stop putting on the pads with AVC but continue to bathe him in ACV. And today is the ninth day and this morning I notice the bump on the stomach fell off. I decide to put antibiotic cream on the area to keep it clean. I am still waiting on the two bumps on his arm; hopefully it won't be long before the fall off.

I wanted to thank you all for your tips that you place in this website- it has help my son so much.

My 4 year old daughter had 3 wart-like bumps- 2 in her armpit and 1 just under on her rib age. I took her to the dr to see what it was. It was diagnosed as Mollescum Contagiosum. He said it would take 9 months to over a year for it to go away. I read about ACV, we tried it... I used a makeup remover pad, cut a piece the size of her bump, dipped it in ACV and put on the bump. I covered it with a waterproof bandage (sticks on all 4 sides, keeps the ACV pad in place) overnight.

After 3 nights of treatment, the MC bumps were scabbed over, the ACV also damages the healthy skin around the MC so I was going to take a break from applying the ACV and 2 days later the scabs came off by themselves and the MC was completely gone! I am thrilled that it didn't take months to take care of this!

I am happy to report that after two weeks of painful treatment and a little bit of doc's help, no new ones are in sight anymore.

Don't abuse the ACV treatment - I burned my skin so bad that the skin fell off and bleed. fortunately I am a healthy person so one day later the wound healed and two days later the skin came back - with white bumps inside.

The doc squeezed it out, without nitrogen as I requested.. it is looking good now.

However, I am still scared of the virus might be still there so every other day I wrapped myself with ACV or spray my whole body with ACV before shower.

The thing is, it is not sexual transmitted disease - I seriously believe that I got it from the Jazzuzi/sauna/gym. Just so from now on I will never use towels provided by hotels/vendors.

Question: Two weeks ago I noticed two bumps on my left crotch. 1 week later, it became 10. I was panic so I went to the dermatolist... he froze the 8 bumps wihtout saying it would spread.

Two days later. 10 bumps became 40. It went to my vagina and left butt cheek.

Desperately searching the internet for cure, I decided to try Apple Cider Vinegar .. and keep a journal here for your all.

Day 1: Soaked cotton balls with ACV and sealed with waterproof tap. From 9pm till 12pm the next day. Areas show no bumps now surfaced 20 small white puz filled ones ( does that mean it is working? ). The others are just read and round.

Day 2: Saturday so I am spreading it with ACV all over my body, and tape all the enlarged areas the whole afternoon. Nothing changed - no black/brown- only white and red.

Question: does spreading ACV all over my body preventing the spreading of virus?

I don't know where I got it from. I went to the Korean Sauna a month ago. Went into the Jacuzzi - could it be where I got it?

My daughter had molluscum bumps on her knee and elbow. Each site had only about 10 bumps, but at 7 years old she was uncomfortable with how they looked and didn't like her friends asking what they were. I asked the pediatrician about them and she said it was mollescum and that it was a virus that just had to run its course, sometimes getting much worse than better.

I turned to EarthClinic, as I do for everything(! ), and once again ACV seemed to be the trick. We put it on by dabbing with a cotton ball about 3 times a week and within a month they were gone. I think with an even more regular treatment they would have been gone even faster! Love love love what ACV has done for us!!

Hi Moms! Your post caught my attention as I have 2 little ones battling this stubborn virus :( Our son is 5 and had three on his stomach for about 6 months that never evolved until we moved to a damper climate and then all h-e-l-l broke loose. He has been to a dermatologist twice now for beetle juice treatments and it was looking promising, only 10 or so bumps, healing and no new ones until this last treatment. He woke up earlier in the week with large crops all over his knees, all over his legs, arms even top of his hands and ears... Impossible for me to treat individually, so what do I do? I want to try the ACV but he is so ridden with them can I just rub it on his body with a make up pad? I feel so bad for him and am worried kids will start to notice and tease him or not want to play with him. Our little girl is 3.5 and she has a few on her lower trunk/groin area but they seem to have responded well to the beetle juice as I haven't noticed any new ones anywhere else on her body. I am desperate for advice and reassurance this too shal pass, so hard to see them go through this.

How now been using ACV for a week. It works GREAT. I usually see results after keeping it all night. The bumps will either

1. turn white, enlarge, and then turn into a dark red scab,

2. Get a black dot in the middle of them and then start to subside, or appear to open up and then scab over. I have gone from probably 30-50 bumps to 15 to 20 in a week. Some of these are new ones just like others have said. I've been hitting hard as soon as I see them. I'm also using Zym----x once or twice a day. Not sure if it is doing any good but it's easier to apply then the ACV. I also soak in the tub with a cup of ACV every morning. I think this is also helping.

I just wanted to say, "thank you all for commenting". I have had two of these for two years and finally got up the courage to ask my gynecologist for help. He says he can treat them, but that they may come back. I am married, and while my husband is completely understanding, the body image issues that I have had to work through have prevented me from being close to him. I am going forward with the ACV prior to my appointment in 4 weeks. I have never commented on anything before this, but am truly grateful for the advice and support as I no longer feel alone and abnormal. May we all find relief.

My 7 year old was diagnosed about 12 months with MC by our local doctor. Yep the same story as most of you, he said leave them alone they will go away within a few months, not very contagious. The couple that started on her arm have now turned into about 100 all over her arms, top of her legs and on her tummy. So happy I found this website and started on the ACV. Been applying it for about a week now, they haven't disappeared but are going red and some have a scab on them so we are hopeful that before school starts they may be On the way out. I dab on the ACV with a cotton wool ball then wrap her arms, legs and tummy with cling wrap then tape it with medical tape. This is more practical than band aides as she has so many. I do this at night and leave the cling wrap on for about and hour or so, any longer and it gets to hot and sweaty for her as currently wet season here very hot, humid and wet perfect conditions for MC and is quite common here with the kids. Once again thanks for all the great info and tips on this site!
