Good lord, i'm so relieved! I thought I just had a little ingrown hair on my bikini line -but it turned into an extremely painful knot the size of a grape after a couple days. I was so scared. The third night I was in so much pain I couldn't sleep so I stayed up soaking it with a hot pack and wash cloth and searching the internet for info on how doctors lance boils. ...I will try anything before I do that... and I found this site (God bless you) and I started taking the turmeric this morning at 8 and by 6 that evening I was able to gently poke it and drain it! It's still really tender but at least I can walk a little easier. Hopefully I'll be able to make it into work tomorrow...

Hi my name is Linda I live in Cali. I am only 24 years old. I got my first boil, well first 2 3 months ago OMG it was hell i missed a week of work and still was not better. It was so gross.. I have never seen so much pus in my life, the fist 2 boils were on my rear end and were the size of golf balls.. I did re- search and bought boil ease, that worked and boy was it messy the next day gross! Any how i did not know that the pus cant come in contact with other skin which it did. of course it spread and I got many many pea sized ones that i handled better, I looked in the mirror and looked at my bod i thought gross all these scars I have to do something.. Well I recently like 4 days ago from 4/2/08 started Turmeric at first with tea, then i was like 4 get this I started taking tea spoon full with my downer a good drink. I normaly see more boils coming when others heal, but no new ones thank GOD! I will now use turmeric daily i carry it in my purse and sprinkle it on the food i eat daily it is an antioxidant and cleans the blood so im sure it will do me no harm I the boils i had are healing rather quicky. I did put drawing salve the black stuff on them and cover with a band aid over noght this helps too.. the day i got one close to my labia is the day I started turmeric and that one is nearly gone Thank GOD! I also use antibacterial soap and hand sanitizer frequently! I cant wait till they all heak so I can tend to the scars.. I plan to use turmeric for the rest of my life!

I justed wanted to thank Earth Clinic. I just recently started experincing boils in my most private ares. I already knew the healing powers of tumeric that is why you will always find this seasoning in my cabinet. It also brings out the flavor in most foods. Anyway soaking in a bath of epson salt also releives the pressure of a boil. I have started my tumeric regimend as of 20 min ago. I have no doubt it will work. I believe most cures of ancienct illness not produced by man can be cured naturally as we have everything we need here on earth. Boils have been an acient illness dated back B.C. they were considered a curse. I am aware that they could be a sign of a blood disorder too. It is very important that peole drink or eat cranberrys which help the cylcle and purification of blood flow. Onions and garlic raw are also helpful. Turmeric & Emu Oil took my cures to THE NEXT LEVEL! I've read all feedback regarding cysts and I've been SOOO excited to share what I've stumbled across. Thanks to all of you, taking Turmeric capsules has helped tremendously, with respect to size, frequency, pain and draining. I've found my ULTIMATE CURE (or at least as close as I'VE EVER COME!) Ok, first, based on everyone's emails, I ran out and purchased Turmeric. Took 3 capsules. Felt relief within an 2-3 hours. Took 2 more a couple of hours later, woke to find my 4 cysts greatly reduced in size. Kept this routine up for 5 months, but twice had massive cysts. Large enough for me to consider going to emergency for removal, but I'd been through that excruciating path before, so I just increase my Turmeric dosages to almost 8 capsules a day, made a paste from the contents of the capsules mixed w/water. Relief in 24hrs. Last week, I had 3 new small cysts and 3 recurring, red, huge, painful cyst in my groin area. I was in so much pain, I called off work, as I could barely walk. My boyfriend, God bless him, was so worried, he searched the internet to find me additional relief and stumbled across Emu oil, which penetrates all 7 layers of skin and purports to increase the efficacy of anything it's combined with. He overnighted a bottle of pure, unrefined Emu oil. So I cleaned the cysts w/an Antimicrobial Solution. Opened up one Turmeric capsule, mixed in a few drops of Emu oil and applied to the cysts and surrounding areas. I Covered it with surgical guaze and swallowed 3 Turmeric capsules and went to bed. Within 2 hours, the 3 biggest ones broke open and the 3 remaining diminished to almost nothing! Your turmeric remedy for boils was interesting. I wish to share some home remedies from India.

1. By applying the juice of garlic or onion on the boil to draw it out.
2. By applying turmeric powder.
3. By applying a cumin seed paste.

Diet: Well-balanced, vegetarian, yogurt, boiled food.
Avoid: White wheat flour, all meat, tea & coffee, oily, spicy & sour food.

A pinch of turmeric is taken with a glass of warm milk before bed to treat dry cough. I guess turmeric powder could be taken this way or added to vegetable soup when boiling to make it easier to consume.

Noticed a boil trying to start on my face, so i read your feedback and decided to try it. But instead of drinking it with water i went and bought some in pill form. I took 450 MG. That was last night, i woke this morning to a bump not as bad as the day before and i could tell it looked much better just overnight. THANKS EVERYONE!!!! I say use it!! IT WORKS!! I read your recommendation about the cure for staph being turmeric. I tried it and it worked. I used it in conjunction with a wet poultice of green clay. It cleared up the boil in 3 days and although 3 other little ones popped up, they never developed and disappeared on their 2nd day. We used this remedy after going to the doctor and getting antibiotics for a staph infection on my young son's leg. He took them and it went away but it came back on another leg a few days after we finished the treatment. The doctor said he had treated about 300 cases of staph in the past few weeks alone. He thought maybe the heat was causing the outbreak. Finding the turmeric was a wonderful stroke of luck, as I did not want to use antibiotics again, so I appreciate you posting this remedy. I have since found out that fresh turmeric root juice is a common remedy for staph on the Big Island of Hawaii, where staph is rampant, and with further research I have found out that turmeric is a potent healer of many ailments. I had a boils breaking out on my wrists and hands (weird)... I found your cure using turmeric and tried it starting on Monday. It took a couple of days taking turmeric in water, but they are going away! I think I will continue to take this for a week or so and then stop. Hopefully that will put an end to the outbreaks. I suggest that women supplement this spice with yogurt containing acidophilus. I have heard that too much turmeric can cause yeast infections. Thanks so much for posting this great cure.

The turmeric in water 3x a day worked great on my boyfriend, who was experiencing his 2nd large boil on the face. The boil started to go away after the first day (he did make it burst with iodine though). I made him stop taking the turmeric after 4 days because I started to experience a terrible burning after sex! It went away after I washed carefully. I doubt people will connect the dots and see turmeric's "side-effect", so I thought I'd mention it. But it is a fantastic cure for boils.

I am not from USA but from India where the climate is quite hot and humid through out the time. I have had cases of boils which used to swell to the size of golf balls, break and after the puss flows out, the pain subsides. the hard core would still take a few days to go off. I had a boil on my buttocks which was painful and grew in size and broke. Barely had the pain subsided another appeared and a third smaller one came up. These were also growing in size and promising to be painful. It was at this time that i happened to search the web and found this site of natural cures. I tried this for 3 days and now one has disappeared, the second ones core is fast diminishing and almost gone.

I had several small boils over the summer due, I believe, to the heat and sweating. I ended up on antibiotics for one that was quite bad. Just as that one cleared up, another started. I did not want to go on antibiotics again, so I decided to look for something natural and came across your site. I figured since it had just started, I could give it a try for a few days, and if it didn't clear up, then go to the doctor. Before I managed to stop and get the turmeric, another two more cropped up. Now there were three to deal with. I used 1tsp of turmeric in hot water, allowed to steep for five mins, then strained and drank as "tea." Overnight I noticed that the boil seemed to have stop getting any larger, and the pain wasn't as bad. None of the three ever broke the skin, they did form the fibrous knots (as most boils do), but those are now starting to dissolve away. I have been drinking the turmeric tea for two weeks, three times per day. A few small boils also cropped up under my arms (where the first one was) only to be gone within a day or so. I believe the turmeric fought them away as they cropped up. None ever became inflamed or broke the skin. I did take acidophilus tablets three times a day also, as there were comments about the turmeric possibly causing yeast infections (which is what the antibiotic did when I had to take that... one reason I didn't want to go back on it.) The turmeric was great, and I am going looking for it in pill form to continue this supplement. thanks!
