I used lemon juice to treat pink eye. I read about a number of natural cures, and in the end lemon juice won because it's what I had on hand. My 16 mo old daughter had been fighting a case of viral pink eye for a few days and I was starting to show symptoms as well. I diluted approx. 1 teas in 8 oz of water. I found this to sting only for a few seconds. I treated myself and the signs of pink eye onset were gone almost immediately. I also snuck into my daughter's room and dropped the diluted lemon juice in her eye several times while she was sleeping, and applied it several times throughout the day today. Her eyes is almost completely healed and I am confident she will be back to normal tomorrow. Thanks!

When my 7 month old came down with pink eye from a toy at wal mart, I was searching everywhere on how to clear it up and i found several different ways but i was looking for something that wouldn't harm a baby. Then i found the lemon juice and the tea bags so while she was sleeping i cleaned all the crust off her eyes and put the lemon juice diluted with warm water of course on her eye and then put the tea bags on her eyes and when she woke up 5 minutes later she was perfectly fine
