This advice works for me. I only recently found this blog. Moles are something I thought I was doomed to have the rest of my life. Since giving up artificial sweeteners, wheat, and corn my body has been growing these things like crazy. Their favorite spot in underneath my breasts. I have been using vinegar as a topical treatment and taking 500mg of niacin, 100mg of B-100, and 50mg of Zinc. My order of DMSO just arrived and I will begin using it today. This is day 6 in this regimen and I am happy to report there are two moles drying up and flaking away from my skin without any scaring, soreness, or mess. I had no idea.

For two months I treated a growing, crepuscular mole on my forehead with a sodium bicarbonate paste. It completely disappeared and my daughter photographed the evidence.

Vitamin E

Moles: I applied Vitamin E (I used the capsules, broke them and applied) and kept covered for a little over a week. The mole is gone!! I was hoping it would have been more healed by my trip, but it did that the day AFTER I returned home. Just my luck. lol After 2 weeks it is still healing but much better. With make up it's barely noticeable. I am now trying it on another mole, but I will do it less aggressively.

Anti-Dandruff Shampoo

I've used anti-dandruff shampoo first for a small fungal spot on my shoulder. I soon found it's great for all kinds of skin issues, though should be used sparingly on sensitive areas like the face. I've successfully treated acne, rashes, and a lifelong redness I had under my nose. I suggested my dad try it for his awful roseacia (not sure how to spell) on his forehead, and in 2 days the bumps were gone. They haven't come back yet, 3 months later. Redness of the skin will persist for a couple days. Basically, the salisyllic acid removes the top layer of skin and destroys any bumps very quickly.

Method of use- I take a pea sized drop on my finger tip and apply to a small area like lotion. You will get used to how much you can use based on skin sensitivity. My dad put maybe 1/8 of a teaspoon on his forehead (including some scalp as he is balding). When I used it under my nose for redish skin, I got my finger wet before putting a small drop (half a pea) on my fingertip. This made spreading a small amount easier, and diluted it to some extent. It almost developed suds/bubbles from the shampoo, but not quite. I consider this the greatest discovery! My doctor told me it's good for fungus on the feet and toenails, bearing in mind that toenail fungus is often unlikely to permanently vanish. At least you can keep it from spreading and ruining your ability to wear cute shoes! Good luck!

Castor Oil and Baking Soda

This seems to work for most skin issues such as skin tags, moles, warts, even skin cancer (removes the lesion/roots but does not heal the cancer):

Mix Castor oil with baking soda. Make into a paste, like tooth paste. Dab on the lesion and cover with a band-aid. Continue doing this until lesion fall off. Be patient. The area will heal without any scaring. Edgar Casey first recommended this procedure decades ago. When you remove a lesion with acid you will normally leave a scar. Baking Soda is alkaline and safe to use. My kitty Fonzie has a lesion on his forehead. We have been dabbing this mixture on his head when we can catch him. No band-aid. It is now just a tenth of what it was. Making a video of this and will post after the lesion is gone and his fur has grown back. I've used this on myself and it has always worked well.

Apple Cider Vinegar and Garlic

Apple cider vinegar/garlic paste worked in eliminating my flat mole the size of a pencil eraser!!! After trying horseradish for two weeks, and apple cider vinegar alone for two weeks, I was frustrated and worried. The mole changed and a red circle surrounded it (I didn't use vaseline but should have in hindsight). It looked worse than ever! I decided my last attempt would be the acv/garlic paste which I applied 3-4 times a day (just applied it with a q-tip and let it dry on). At night I soaked cotton pulled off a q-tip and rolled it into a tiny ball the size of the mole and covered it with a bandaid. In the morning I removed it with cotton soaked in peroxide. A scab started forming by the second day and the whole thing fell off in two weeks. Once I was sure it was fully scabbed, I stopped the acv/garlic paste and just waited patiently for it to fall off. I've since applied coconut oil everynight and the red circle is completely gone, All that is left is now is a tiny little line that is fading each day. I am so happy and relieved!!! Thank you all for sharing!!!!

I personally haven't tried the dandruff shampoo on my moles but I have had really good success using acv. I used the kind from my kitchen on one which worked with a little burning (not bad). I used organic acv with mother on another mole and it worked without the burning. I swear by it and now have a lot of people using to get rid of their moles! A note about dandruff shampoo, I suggested to my sister-in-law that she use it for rosacea and it worked like a charm! She uses it twice per week. Good luck!

I have the same question. I've been trying it since the post showed up. Have we been tricked?(If so, at least it didn't do any harm!)

Anti-Dandruff Shampoo

Because this remedy will help many people and is the best of all, I like to give more help how I use it. I take a needle and scratch the center of the mole not healthy skin. Usually there is a little bleeding. Then I apply a brand of strong anti-dandruff shampoo daily (3 times per day usually). It scabs after second or third day. I keep applying the shampoo until the scab falls. Before you answer if it works or not please make sure that you follow my remedy. Thank you.

BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS

I used the shampoo but just rubbed it on my mole which is near my eye, the moles got smaller but the skin around it is real burned but at least its decreased. This method works if you apply it carefully.

What do you mean my scratching the mole? Just scratch it once then put shampoo on?

Apple Cider Vinegar and Garlic

Apple Cider Vinegar and Garlic combined cured my mole.

I had an mole which resembled a pimple, flesh colored, raised, not to big.so I decided to try the method of removal with garlic, I taped garlic on the mole for 1 hour in total, then removed and let the mole air out for a while, then I cut the mole with scissors (it didn't hurt, just bled a little) waited for the bleeding to stop, than held organic apple cider vinegar on the mole for 20 minute intervals about 4 times,

Day 1
mole first swells, turns black

Day 2
Mole is black and hard, skin around mole is irritated
mole falls off during sleep

Day 3
Skin is healing, a tiny scab, flat,

the skin around the mole was very burned and irritated it looked discusting, but it's healing really fast by constant cleaning, and application of vitamin e (from first aid kit), triple antibiotic ointment(polysporin or neosporin will do), white and black spruce pitch salve (which is proven to have healing, antimicrobial and anti-cancerous properties) and healing oils seems to be healing quite fast, but not yet healed, this is my 4th day.

Bag Balm

Bag Balm and a bandaid will take off hanging moles and most warts in a few days. A bandaid only for protecting your clothing from the bag balm. My mother is from the south and she has been using it longer than I have been alive.

Hydrogen Peroxide

I found this site a little over a week ago - and I'm glad I did! I cured my very first mole with Hydrogen Peroxide in a week.

Here's what you will need: Hydrogen Peroxide 3%, Q-Tips, Band-Aids, Bag Balm, Nail File

Day #1. I cleansed the area around the mole with soap and water, then I dried it off. Next, I gently used the coarse side of the nail file to roughen up the mole - again do it gently. After that, I applied a thin coat of ___ (antiseptic balm) around the base of the mole to about 1/2 inch in diameter out from the base to keep from burning my skin with the HP. Next, I soaked a Q-Tip in Hydrogen Peroxide and applied it directly on the mole and held it there until it started to whiten and bubble a bit. It will sting a little at first, I must admit. Repeat these steps 6 times throughout the day and leave the mole uncovered if all possible to speed up the healing process. At night before going to bed, do the entire set of steps again, this time applying a band-aid at the end.

Day #2. Same as Day #1

Days #3, #4, #5: Let the mole rest and keep the area clean. Do not do anything else to the mole.

Day #6: I noticed that the mole had formed a hard, crusty top cover to it (DO NOT PICK IT OFF), so I DID NOT use the nail file this time. Instead, I applied the ___ and then HP as I did in Days #1 & #2, repeating the process 6 times throughout the day and then once again at bedtime with the band-aid.

Day #7. During my morning shower, the hard & crusty mole fell off, leaving a dark pink spot with a small crater-like hole to it. I applied ___over the entire area now...and will keep doing so until it's completely healed.

As with any health advice, please keep in mind that your results may vary from mine. I only offer this a possible solution to your mole problems.

Good Luck!

Bloodroot Paste

I used bloodroot paste to remove an eraser size raised mole on my lower back. I have had this mole for 37 years. While the process is not for the faint of heart, it really does work. The whole process took approx. 1 month, but if you follow the instructions, it is pretty amazing. Now, all I have is a little pink spot where the mole was and this is only after 1 week. I would not, however, recommend using it on your face. In the beginning, it is alittle painful. I think this area would be too sensitive.

Garlic

I had a couple of small moles on my face which were (at least to me) unsightly. Especially during the winter, when my tan went away. I decided to try some remedies that i found online. Applying honey to the mole didn't do anything for me. Neither did eating a lot of potassium. So i decided to try garlic. I got one of those bowls with a masher and mashed up two little Garlic peaces. When they where all mashed up, i got a Q-tip, and rubbed the inside of the bowl. (with the garlic still in it) I then took the Q-tip and placed it on one of my moles, and in just one day, it fell mostly off. I still have a small portion of the outer ring, but hopefully that will go away too. Otherwise, clear beautiful skin was discovered under the mole. Hope this helps. God bless you guys.

Garlic

I tried the garlic remedy for a mole on my face after researching all over the web, and reading about such success stories. I'm on day 3, and I have already noticed a difference in the size. The mole currently appears to be a flat scab, and I am hoping it falls off soon. I have taken the advice of only using a piece of crushed garlic which covers the mole, and the use of lotions and such to prevent burning. I've only been leaving the garlic on for about 10 to 15 minutes at a time, since it is a facial mole. This seems to have been enough time.

Bloodroot Paste

Moles and Bloodroot: Sorry you having trouble with Cansema (bloodroot). I have used black salve off and on for about l0 years or more; mostly on actinic keratosis on my back. I never found it to be as painful as many of those who write in have. It is just every once in awhile (for the first few days) it feels like someone has yanked a string, controlling a bunch more strings under the area where you apply it. The itching from the bandaid used to cover it is as bad or worse for me because I have a problem with adhesive tape. About 3 or 4 days after initial application, the surface area scab was ready to come off leaving an shallow ulcer behind. I never had any problem with it healing or discoloration, but then I don't see my back as easily as you do your face. Your loss of pigment is probably not a lasting problem and will correct itself. Personally I would consider a small sunken area a blessing and much less of a problem than the results of a lot of post surgical patients I have seen!

The String Method

My friend (an RN) removed a large mole on my back by tying cotton thread around it and slowly cutting off it's blood flow. She'd tie a new thread, slightly tighter, every few days or so. After three weeks it came off. This was absolutely painless, the only thing that bothered me was my clothing rubbing on it so I kept a band-aid over it. It was quite large and got bigger and turned purple as it died. I'm sure a smaller mole would come off in less time.

Moles - for Bernadette in London: I think the H2O2 is all you need to get rid of the mole and probably what did the job on your first one. I've taken off several just by applying and scraping with a Q-TIP wet with the h2o2 morning and night for a week or so.

Garlic

I am surprised by the number of posters here who keep garlic next to their skin for hours at a time. Of course it causes redness and/or burns! When you do use garlic on your skin, don't leave it on for more than 15 mins. Any longer than that and you may get a burn. Take it off even quicker if you feel stinging. Taking about 10 garlic cloves, and steeping it for about 1/2 hr in olive oil, drain the cloves out and you've got yourself Garlic Oil! Which is just as effective and not so burn-y. Good Luck everyone!

Horse Tail Hair

My husband had a mole in the center of his forehead. It bothered him that he looked like a unicorn. So I remembered when I was a little girl that I used to hear my Grandma speak of different remedies, for different ailments. The one that I never really believed was the one about the horse hair to remove a mole. So one day my husband and I was out and about and seen a man on a horse. I asked him could I have a piece of his horse's tail hair. He knew immediately what I wanted with it. My husband said he wouldn't believe it until he seen it. So once we arrived home I tied the hair around the mole. Every morning after, I would awake before he would to see the results. 3 days later I noticed the mole and the hair was gone! I told my husband to pay extra attention to his face when he went to wash up. When he realized the mole was gone he was so excited.

Ted's Mole Theory

Ted, I am intrigued by your theory that moles are fungi protected by melanin. It makes sense that they grow and shrink and puff out! I recently burned one off in less than a day of using garlic clove mixed with ACV. I also used black walnut tincture for 5 days prior with no noticeable results. After less than a day I pulled the round bandaid off and it was blistered so I stopped doing anything. I poked it with a pin and realized it wasn't attached. I squeezed pus out for a day and then it dried up and rubbed off quite easily in four days, and the remaining scab five days later. I had some success with castor oil and baking soda on different moles but they came back. I think it's different for everyone and every mole because possibly every mole is a different fungus protected by melanin so it makes sense that they can't be destroyed all the same way! Also, I am very lethargic and have swollen lymph nodes and tonsil cruddies as well as over 350 moles all over my body so it makes sense that I'm full of viruses or funguses!!! Any good foods to eat? Goji? Garlic? Onion? Potassium rich foods? I heard that warts and moles can be a sign of potassium deficiency, but some people think moles are just the hangy dark ones so I'm not sure if they meant flat ones as well. Have you heard anything on this? Once again I'm very intrigued by your ideas please update me on any helpful information.

Try adding 1/2 tsp. baking soda to each litre of water that you drink. I started drinking 3-4 litres per day to help alkalize my PH to get rid of a 3 year battle with MRSA. Not only was the MRSA gone within a few days but it never came back and I noticed several other "side effects". One of these effects was that my moles started shrinking from within days. I added extra virgin coconut oil to my diet a couple of times a day and most of my skin blemishes were gone within a month with no sign of their previous existence.

On the tough moles, I am adding 5% lugol's iodine right now. It has been three days and they are hard and dry. A patch of scab from one fell off last night to expose pink skin so I think it's working. I'll keep you posted on how it turns out.
