This is surprising....by the second or third day of use for red raspberry tea (at what should be the end of my menstrual flow). Flow is gone. I only use the rrt to end my period. Maybe I should try it for reduction of heaviness.

I am 41 and was bleeding quite heavily (over 30 mls/day) for almost three months. Red raspberry tea worked within the first two days. I made a giant pot in the morning and sipped throughout the day. By the end of the second day, the bleeding stopped. I previously tried a.c.v., vitex, molasses, etc., but this seemed to be the only remedy that did the trick. I have continued to drink it since and so far, so good!

I'm a chiropractor specializing in fertility, pre-natal, and pediatric care. I always have this tea here in the office because of its healing and soothing effect on the female reproductive system. I recommend it for menstrual cramps, any cycle irregularity, during pregnancy, and general uterine health. It's a miraculous ancient remedy used by native cultures for centuries. For those who haven't tried it, it's like a mild black tea in flavor and naturally a little sweet. Try drinking it right before and throughout your next period and see how soothing it is for yourself. I usually drink a cup every day and maybe two during my period.

Raspberry Leaf tea is considered the "women's tea". It helps with adrenal glands, and contains iron, calcium and various vitamins. Somehow it helps with the uterus. During menstration it has been amazing how it takes away cramping for me quickly! I also use the tea bag after I am done and put it on my face, and it tightens my pores! During pregnancy I always drink Raspberry leaf tea. It is quite expensive from the natural food store. So, I learned to make my own. I take the leaves off the plants, rinse them off with water, and let dry. Once dry (1-2 weeks) I crush them and store them. I then use them like any tea. It is now a great free beverage I share with my kids too!

OK, I read all your postings. I've been menstruating for 21 days now, and usually only have 5 days. So I got some Raspberry Tea, put 2 Tbsps. of Blackstrap Molasses in it (a little heavy, but tolerable) and ACV in grape juice (not a highlight of my day). Here's to hoping it works. I'm trying to get pregnant, so the 3 week period is not helping. I'll keep you posted.

to slow down a heavy flow drink red raspberry tea. Make sure the tea is the color of blood very dark and drink a 6-8 oz cup with honey if wanted or needed for sweetness. It works every time.
