I started taking Boron caps instead of using the Borax. Is there a recommended dosage? Thanks.

Hello Art. I am 70 and have osteoporosis. Not knowing how to find a doctor to work with me on a natural approach, I am very interested in your write up about melatonin. How/where do I find high dose melatonin? Obviously over the counter is only 5 mg. I would really appreciate any direction you could share.

Thank you!!

Ted's Remedies

Dear Ted, My mother is a moderately active 79+, frail and tiny lady. She has over the years become slightly bent (which now I understand is dowagers hump). She has been on high BP medication for sometime now.

For many years she had been complaining of pain in the lower abdomen. Scans and clinical examinations showed no problem. She was put on painkillers and she was also put on Vitamin D3 supplements that on testing had become acutely toxic.

Recently a BDM test was prescribed. The report shows her to be acutely osteoporotic with a T score of (-5.7)

He has prescribed Bonista that is a Ranbaxy drug administered in a sub cutaneous injection through the same kind of pen like device as in the case of insulin/diabetes shots. I think its Teriparatide and the popular brand in the US is called Forteo. It is some hormone based therapy to be self administered for 18 months. I have got to know that it does not suit all and may have serious side effects. Don't know if this is true. Am mailing all the details to you simply to give you the complete picture and also to take your opinion regarding the same. She is on high BP medication.

I am giving her SBL's Biochemic salt 'Magnesia Phosphorica' 6x - 4 pellets - four times a day. She is also taking half a cup of freshly extracted juice (unboiled) of Tinospora cordifalia stem as well as leaves (Giloy), a tablespoon juice of fresh Ocimum sanctum - Indian basil (Tulsi) and 1/3rd cup of fresh Aloe Vera gel. And three four curry leaves and some fresh ginger. Besides this she is also taking two tablespoons of Unsulphurated organic Blackstrap Molasses and Brag's organic Apple Cider Vinegar with the mother. She is a complete vegetarian. Her T score is very low. Is there something that we can do to help her? Also, I wish to know that nothing in the list of what I am giving her could harm her in any way. Would be grateful for your response.

Thank you.

General Feedback

Hello Beni, How do sign up to your post to read more on osteoporosis. Where can I purchase the pepino melon or find stores around Arizona that sell it? In what amounts do you eat it in and how often? Unfortunately, I am not in an area where I have any room to grow it from seeds. But, would like to buy it from any local sources. Thank you!

Borax

Borax for arthritis/osteoporosis:

Hi Ted, I'm reaching out to you in desperate need of your advice regarding the Borax protocol. Please allow me to start by giving you a brief overview of my current health condition. I'm a 65 years young woman who lives a conscious lifestyle and works out daily by lifting weights, power walking, and a lot of cardio exercise. Below please find some of the health concerns I'm trying to overcome at this moment.

  • High Blood Pressure- which has forced me to take the only allopathic medicine that I'm currently taking Benicar (40mg) along with Amlodipine Besylate (2. 5 mg). I take 1 tablet of each medicine daily in the morning. Besides those two, I use supplements like Vitamin C, Vitamin D3, Magnesium, Fish Oil, Niacinamide and I take my first urine in the morning. I believe that I developed high blood pressure due to the intolerance for many years to certain foods like dairy, red meats. chicken, sugar, coffee, and preservatives found in canned foods.
  • Heavy Metals- A naturopath doctor in NYC told me that I have heavy metals in my body and I think that is the reason why sometimes I feel pain in my knees, elbows, and fingers.
  • Eczema- My skin is chronically dry-it itches all the time.
  • Postmenopausal osteoporosis.

I learned about the Borax treatment and decided to take it after much research and consideration, first following the mild formula of Dr. Rex Newham (1 tsp / 1 Lt of water) to continue later on with the dose you suggest. I was able to take the mild solution for 2 weeks (Monday through Friday at lunch time) sadly having to stop at the beginning of my 3rd week. On a separate note, I would like to let you know that I practice urine therapy; however, I suspended it during my 2 weeks of treatment.

The first 2 days of my treatment my blood pressure went up for approximately 30 minutes going back to normal eventually. Unfortunately, the second Monday of my treatment my blood pressure went up to 180/70 accompanied with a strange buzz in my head. I monitored my blood pressure constantly that day and it was only after a couple of hours that it went back to normal. I got scared by the reaction so I suspended the treatment all along. I am very sad to have had to stop the Borax treatment because I was starting to feel better. I was hoping to get rid of osteoporosis once and for all and the pain on my knees so that I can start running.

About one week after discontinuing the treatment I had a extremely painful arthritis flare up on my left hand with inflammation, swelling, stiffness that lasted more than ten days. Ted, what should I do to safely continue with the Borax? Do you recommend me to continue with my urine therapy while taking the treatment?

Also what do you recommend to controlled the huge appetite I developed while taking the borax? I look forward to your reply and thank you so much for your commitment to helping others.

Kind regards.

All this since I stopped exercising in the last 3 or so years. I am getting back to it, but I need some help fast for my teeth! Thank you for your suggestions!!

Have any other readers experienced these documentable benefits from Pro Bono? I am not familiar with the product but it sounds promising?

I looked up the nutritional label on Pro Bono and it is different than this list. I do not believe Pro Bono is the product being referred to here based on the nutritional label I saw. If anyone knows what P_____ B______ is please share it with us, so we too can recover. Thank you so very much to anyone that is willing to help us. Best Wishes.

Thanks Bill for sharing this excellent article! It's good to know that there are things we can do to prevent or reverse osteoporosis. The article is not technical and very readable. I am a 65 year old female who eats a low animal protein diet, and I'm taking vitamin D, Borax, molasses (magnesium, calcium, vitamin B6), and use progesterone cream. Looks like I need to add strontium and folic acid. Thanks again!

Hydrogen Peroxide
Posted by Angel53 (North Vancouver, Bc, Canada) on 09/21/2011

Back in November 2008 I fell and broke my right arm. When the doctor went to set it, he found out that I had Osteoporosis in it. Do you know if taking Hydrogen Peroxide Food Grade whould help build up the bone to be strong and back to normal? When I came home from the hospital (after having an operation to remove a Cancerous tumor in my head) I started taking the Hydrogen Peroxide Food Grade. I took it for about 9 months. When I went to the Neurologist to have a scan I found out that the brainwaves in my head had "returned to normal". When I had the tumor, my brainwaves always were sharp - now, they are round and smooth.

I continued taking the H2O2 but at 6 drops 3x a day. To my horror, after taking it for about 6 months, the back of my hands got all red and thin skinned (super sensitive). Would bleed very easily. After a year and lots of expensive medication, I finally got my hands back to normal condition. My question: Do you know if Hydrogen Peroxide would help me with Osteoporisis in my arm? I have a permanent metal bar in the arm because of this. Thank you.
