After just 3 days of cider vinegar and honey drink my complexion had taken on a much healthier glow and I felt brighter. Trying to loose weight and can't see any change there. I find it a really nice warm winter drink.

About 2 months ago I started to take apple cider vinegar. I mixed it with water and sipped throughout the day. After a few days I noticed that the oil build up around my nose disappeared and that my skin definately looked better. I stopped for about three weeks and about one week into the break my skin began to get oily again. I have started taking it once more and within 6 days my skin is healthy and the oil is gone!

To Amber of Greensboro, NC. She used the vinegar on her skin. The trick is to intake equal portions of acv and honey mixed with water. Take 1 tsp. of mixture in an 8 oz. glass of water 2X day. Do not use on the skin. Also, the honey helps to neutralize the acid in the vinegar so that it doesn't cause any side affects to internal organs.
I may buy an 8 oz jar of honey, pour it into another container, then fill the honey jar with acv and mix the 2 together (shake well)and the remedy is 1 tsp. of mixture in 8 oz. glass of water 2x day.

First I want to say that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SITE! I discovered it 2 years ago and I swear that everything I've tried (with a few twists of my own) has done wonders for extremely gorgeous skin, energy level and overall health. One thing that I can accredit the many compliments I receive on my skin is ACV and VCO. I religiously do is tone my face with ACV twice a week (have been doing so for 2 years now). The first two times it felt like my face was on fire and I couldn't bare it, but I figured to take away the burn by adding something soothing to it to help balance it out. I add a teaspoon of pure honey and a tablespoon of half of a mashed banana and then about 3 or 4 drops of ACV. I dab it on my face with a cotton ball then I smear it all over the face as if I'm softly rubbing it in. I can still my feel my face tingling a bit and a light sensation (kind of like a noxema sensation), but it doesn't burn anymore and the redness isn't half as bad and normally goes away shortly after washing off. My skin is to die for after I wash it off. I moisturize my face with VCO. People (even strangers) always ask what I use on my skin.

ACV cured my bladder infection! I drink two tabelspoons in 80z of water. The worse I feel the more I take. Thanks!! It also is a great exfoliator for my face. I just put it on a cotton ball and rub all over my face.

I have been using apple cider vinegar for about 16 years. My mother first read it in a readers digest at a doctors office. My dad had a rash on his hand that traveled up his arm. The doc perscribed a cream that he used and didn't work at all. First my mother tried white vinegar and it helped a bit. Then she bought acv. The rash disappeared in 2 days never to reappear. I started using it for dry, rashy skin myself and it works. I brought it over to a friends place with superficial inflamitory acne. Suprisingly after 4 treatments within a 12 hour period the fluid under the skin has diminished to almost non existent levels. She says it is a miracle. I am Suprised that this is working so fast. Usually it would take a day or two. It really works for almost anything to do with the skin. I am now going to consume it for all the reasons on this site. Use it and enjoy.

I started taking two tablespoons of ACV with the veil of mother with a quarter teaspoon of baking soda twice a day about two months ago. I notice a better skin tone, better digestion, and really just an over all better sense of well being. My body is definitely thanking me for doing this!

When my skin looks "sad" and needs to be revitalized, I put 3 drops of apple cider vinegar on a clean face and pat it for 30 seconds or so. The next morning, I glow!

Hi, Pina!
Thank you for your reply. I am using Eden brand organic apple cider vinegar because this is the only brand available in our country (UAE). I couldn't find Bragg's here in supermarkets but only online and it is so much more expensive than Eden. I thought brand doesn't matter as long as it is organic. I use organic honey as my facial wash because I noticed all facial wash I used makes my skin so tight and so dry. I was hesitant to continue using this but I saw mild peeling on my face maybe it's the ACV removing the dead skin so I am now again using it. This time I now diluted my apple cider with more water, the water I use is mineral water (bottled water) and not from faucet. The bottled water I use is the same what I drink because of the low sodium content compare to other bottled mineral water in the store. I feel like I just destroyed my skin but I am giving ACV toner another chance. I am just impatient with the scars. It looks like it is either not working with ACV or it works very slow on my skin. I don't know why ACV is not working faster on my skin compare to you and others. Maybe I will give ACV another week and if there is no changes, ACV maybe not for my skin. Thanks.

Was drinking apple cider vinegar really effective on you? Even if a person has acne-prone skin?? Your reply is well appreciated, thanks in advance :)

I am soooooooo happy I found this site. I have always known about Apple Cider Vinegar but never knew about the benefits for the skin. I'm 45 yrs old and 3 years ago I started having skin problems and discover a very expensive product $400.00 that worked wonders on my skin!!!! (better had) Many people thought I was 30 yrs old. Due to the price I was no longer able to afford the product and now my skin looks like crap!!! I purchased the natural avc some months ago and after a week my girlfriend noticed my skin but I stopped, bad decision.
I am now starting my Apple Cider Vinegar facial again and I hope my skin gets better. Also I have VERY BAD facial hair on my chin area that I have to pluck daily, I have waxed also and use the medicine product that removes the hair but the hair returns if the product is not in use. Not only do I have the ugly hair issue but the plucking has left scars on my neck and chin. Will the cider remove the dark spot too? Someone please help me with this hair and dark spots on the chin issue. I am African American with brown skin so the scars show. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

I got a hickey and had to get it removed for a job interview. Well I had tried putting toothpaste on it, and while that works for bruises, which a hickey is essentially, it didn't work as fast as I liked. So I came to EC and saw that ACV worked for bruises and rubbed some of the raw unfiltered ACV on my neck and laid a rag soaked with it on it for a half hour. It seemed to make it fade a little, and faded quite a bit more by the next day. Still, it didn't make it disappear but I was happy to see some difference I could attribute to ACV.

ACV is very strong. it is similar to a chemical peel on skin - it removes the top layer and also increases blood circulation to the skin. so redness is normal - but it should go away after about 30 minutes.
try diluting the ACV 1/2 and 1/2 with water. if you still get this symptom - you can try a miracle whip facial: spread miracle whip (contains vinegar and other ingredients) on your face in a thin layer. leave it on for 10 minutes. then rub your face with your fingertips and little balls of stuff will come off. keep rubbing til no more ball of dead skin and miracle whip come off and then use a warm damp washcloth to steam your face. wipe your face clean and use cold water to splash your skin.
also it would probably be good to do clay masks. you can get bentonite clay at the health food store and some grocery stores under the name of indian healing clay. this will clean out your pores and also take off the top layer of dead skin.
i have had the best luck with using sandalwood powder to clean my skin. you can buy sandalwood powder very cheaply at indian grocery stores - it is called chandan. what i do is wet my face and hands and apply a small amount - 2 or three damp fingers dipped into the powder - onto my wet hands and massage it onto my face and neck. then i apply a warm damp cloth and steam my skin for a minute - and then wipe it off and rinse with warm and then cool water.
afterwards i apply a tiny amount of virgin coconut oil or jojoba oil

WOW! I have come to love the wonderful product of ACV. I have had severe allergies and sinus problems since I could walk. Chronic bronchitis, sinusitis, tonsilitis (they have lonce since been removed), rhinitis, etc... I have always taken prescription medication. However I am 8 mos pregnant and have not been able to take anything but over the counter Tylenol products. For the past 3 days I have been down and out with a severe sinus migraine, congestion and pressure. Nothing worked and I am sleep deprived! Adding these symptoms to 8mos of pregnancy spells MISERY for sure. I was desperate so I hopped online and what do you know? I found the same product that cured my husband of his pesky wart will also clear my sinuses. I only wished I found this info sooner! I took 1 tbsp of ACV with 8oz of water and downed. Then I made a mixture and put it in my veggie steamer (ACV is also a great residue cleaner) and sat over it for about 5mins. Everything started to clear up within the hour. I then rinsed with saline solution and I can breathe out of both nostrils! My headache is almost gone and the pressure almost nil! Oh and by the way the ACV steam bath is great for oily skin. I noticed a difference immediately after the face bath. I was then curious to see if this was a known rememdy for acne/skin problems and sure enough it is!!! In fact, Earth Clinic was the first hit.
I am amazed that such a simple, inexpensive product can do so much. Thank you dearly for this site.

External use of ACV cured sun spots. Some spots form a scale and after a few weeks fall off. Another use, wish had known sixty years ago, a few minutes before shaving, apply apple cider vinegar to the whiskers, then apply the shaving cream and the whiskers are softened, really makes a difference.

Apple Cider Vinegar cured the acne beneath the skin and made pores appear smaller, also added a glow to skin. WONDERFUL! I used ACV as a toner to my face twice daily for beneath the skin acne and enlarged facial pores and I saw a fantastic difference in 3 days. There are only a few visible pores left, only seen when I stand close enough to the mirror to see my breathe. I also have a glow to my skin that is unbelievable. I've always loved my skin but didn't always treat it with love an care--but now seeing it glowing and healthy I am intent to add ACV to my diet for internal cleansing too. Thank you God for ACV!!!
