I found this website when looking for cures for my daugher's warts, she has several on her hand. We taped small pieces of banana peel to each wart every night and two are gone, two are getting much smaller, so I'm positive they will disappear. I can't remember how long it has taken, but I would guess at least 1 month. We would forget several nights too.
Also, I found the rememdy of ACV for toe fungus and have soaked my foot every nite for about 1 or 1-1/2 months. The toenail isn't completely grown out yet, but this new growth is looking very clear, so I think that worked and it will grow out clean.
Thank you for cheap and easy remedies.

My 5 year old daughter had a nasty cluster of 3 warts on top of her foot. We tried to freeze it off and it didn't work and only mad her cry with the pain that was associated with the procedure.
We were very reluctant to go the doctor because we knew that they would want to try to cut it out and to a 5 year old that was tramatic.
We happened to mention to our friends that she had some warts and they directed us to this website. We thought that we had nothing to lose but to try the banana peel treatment because it was only a harmless banana peel. So I cut up a banana about an inch by inch size and tape it onto the warts with some bandaides to keep it still. Note, before putting the banana peel on I would wipe another piece onto warts to try to saturate the area.
After the first night you could see that it started to work because it raised and soften the warts. We changed the banana peel the next day and by the time she was ready to go to bed one of the three warts fell out! We changed the peel that night and the remaining two warts came out but some partial of remaining so we did it one more night and everything was gone! Therefore, a total of 3 days and the warts were gone and my little girl did not have to do to the doctor and go through cutting them out. We did do additional follow up treatment for about a week or so and put some antibiotic oitment to heal void that the warts left behind.
Awesome, awesome way to get this warts out painless and fast! Just give it a try, its only a banana peel and it won't hurt you to try....you'll love the results!

So, call me a skeptic. I developed a plantar type wart on my thumb and a raised one pinkie which were both extremely irritating. I had tried OTC "freezing" at least three times, and the garlic method, which cleared up my son's warts, but neither worked. In fact, they made them worse!
Figuring, it couldn't hurt, I tried the banana peels. I cut a small square of the greenish part near the stem of the banana, and held it on with waterproof adhesive tape overnight. I removed it the next morning, and although they looked all waterlogged at that point, as the warts dried out I noticed that they had all these black spots.
I didn't use the bananas every day - - rather about 2 times a week at night, whenever I remembered (and had bananas!) After about 4 times of using the "treatment", the warts had turned nearly all black and were drying up. I filed them down, and used the banana again. As of this AM, the smaller one on my pinkie is gone and the one on my thumb is now smooth and flat, but still a little discolored. I figure another day or two, and it, too, will be completely gone.
Try it. You won't be disappointed!

We have battled a series of plantar warts on my daughters finger for about a year and a half; we had what was initially a single wart that subsequently progressed to a group of warts frozen off at a dermatologist's office four times. My daughter says this is very painful. I'm not really a believer in "old wives tails", however, someone in passing told us about the banana peel thing. We've taped a piece of the banana peel on the warts for three consecutive nights now and most of the wart is gone. There was marked improvement after the very first night; the next morning the wart had turned a blackish/brown. So I have to say, this method seems to work, so far...Even if it comes back partially, this method is certainly a lot less painful!

I first tried ACV for my senile wart (that's what the doctor called it), and although it started to go black, it got extremely painful. I believe I have a rather high tolerance for pain, but it got unbearable one night when I woke up and my arm was throbbing. I then switched to Iodine, but found that too harsh as well. Last try was the banana peel - and oh how I wished I had of tried this first!!! Within two days it was black and gone and only a wound remains - and best of all - no pain! Thanks for such a great site!

Banana peels worked miracles on my plantars wart!
i am sixteen and have had a plantars wart on my foot for about a year. it was very small at first and i thought it was a callus for about eight months, until my aunt suggested that it may be a wart. i scheduled an appointment to have it looked at, but was terrified about having it cut out after googling the procedure. i came upon this website and was so excited with the success everyone else has had, so i decided to give it a try.
after three days i noticed a huge difference and canceled my doctors appointment. after about four days my wart turned blackish-brown. now it has been a little over a week and i no longer have ANY PAIN, and the wart is very small, with pink skin starting to surface. i am so grateful to this website and all of the inspirational success stores! you have saved me much stress, worry, money, pain, and recovery!
my method:
-first i used a foot scraping blade i bought at the drugstore to remove the hard outer skin that had formed. (this did not hurt, make sure to soak your foot first)
-next i cut a piece of banana peel and taped it to my foot with medical tape
thats it!
-a few days later i repeated the scraping process

My 14 year old son has a couple of large warts and quite a few smaller ones on his hands that he was really embarrassed about. We had tried different chemist remedies but nothing had worked. I came across this site (which is AMAZING) while looking for a burn cure, and searched for wart cures. I was sceptical about the bananna peel cure, and so was he, but we tried it and while they did not turn black and drop off, as lots of other people have experienced, they have nearly gone!! Thanks so much for this wonderful website - I have told lots of my friends about Earthclinic here in New Zealand and we all think its awesome!!!

I tried the banana peels for foot warts and I am soo happy to report that it worked!! I've had the warts for years and never did anything about them until recently when they grew and it became painful to take a step. I looked on this site and first tried the ACV which was messy since the tape wouldn't stay on. Then as the pain increased I finally tried the banana peels. At first the warts became very bulgy and white. I guess it was sucking them out since a cluster was revealed that I thought was only one wart.
Recipe: I cut the banana peels to small squares and taped them on with masking tape then I put socks on to hold them in place
I used them religiously around the house for about 3 maybe 4 days. Then I went out of town so I couldn't use this remedy. When I came back I realized that the warts not only had stopped hurting but that they were now little black dots! I will continue the treatment for a couple of days more just so all the warts are completely removed =)

I have been dealing with what the dermatologist has called flat warts on my face. I remember when I was in highschool I had something on my chin that resembled a pimple and I recall finally jsut ripping it off and it did grow back but eventually went away then approx 7 years ago I got another on e then a few more and they were located on my face near my chin and my nose. I have tried everything from freezing to aldera cream, to tea tree oil and castor oil and nothing has seemed to work. Yesterday I read all of these different testimonials about banaanas and the peels so I thought lastnight hey what the hell it cant hurt. so I put the peel on the two spots and much to my surprise this morning when I got up the one on my chin is alot smaller and the ones on my nose seem to be shrinking also. One night and the difference is noticeable. All i can say is my prayers have finally been answered: No more Dermatologist and spending all that money for nothing.

After reading all the posts in this forum, I decided to give it a try and walk around with this magic bananapeel under the soles of my foot. I have been suffering from warts for over 10 years now and despite the fact that the original one's aren't there anymore, in general - they are highly persistant & replaced by new ones all the time.
My method: Cut small parts from the peel and rub this firmly over/into the wart. After this I cut small 1cm x 1cm parts, put them on it and stuck it to my foot with some bandaids or tape. I would do this every night before going to bed and keep them on afterwards. I also wanted to let them ventilate a bit, so after showering i.e. I let them breathe for an hour orso, after which they were again annoyed by my new fruity invention. So: I wore them as much as possible, e.g. shopping, running, training, movies etc.
My result: After doing this for one week straight, the result was that the warts seemed to react in some way. It was not very clear, partially because there was lots of hard skin and the banana peel left some black color here and there... but despite this is noticed that they were annoyed and some of them started to shrink a little.
After this week, I went on vacation to the seaside for a week - where I didnt use any banana for any other purpose than my milkshakes. Upon return I did it for 2 more days, after which I had an appointment with a wart-expert in the dermatology department in the hospital. She took her scalpel and gently scratched the excess skin off (no pain, don't worry) and she started laughing! "I think this approach of yours is doing the trick; they are disappearing!" As indicator she pointed at the lines on your skin (like a finger print) that were now no longer going around the wart, but followed a normal path over it - indicating that the normal skin structure came back.
Not all of them are completely gone, but from the five I had on my 2 feet, at least 3 have virtually disappeared and two are 'on the way' as she said.
Like many, I was quite sceptic at first, but after reading the overwhelming amount of positive feedback I thought: What the heck!
> PEOPLE: IT DOES WORK!
Maybe the Potassium did the trick, I don't care... but after years of literally walking around with this nuisance, and going to the doctor for the cryo therapy (freezing them) I believe for the first time this will be the cure for it!
Thanks a lot for all the feedback - and sorry for my extensive report, but I just wanted to be as precise as possible as it might help somebody in the same position as me. As soon as everything is gone, I will make another post to let y'all know.
Greetings,
Peter

Banana Peel most definetly works. I put the peel on my six year old son's foot that had warts on them every night with a bandade over top to keep in place. Seven days it was gone. Turned black and fell off. Hasn't returned. Put the remedy in my recipe box and share it with anyone that has warts to be rid of. Thanks for the site I refer to it often. Allison

re: Banana Peel for plantar wart. For those having suffering with plantar warts: After five years of suffering through laser surgery, Cantharadin, salycidic acid, etc., none of which helped, I was cured within a month using banana peel every other night with Aldara on the alternate nights.

Wanted to let you know that about 2 months ago, a painful wart showed up on my right thumb. Of course I picked at it which made it worse. Okay--it doesn't take me too long to learn so.....I peeled a banana, placed the peel on the wart and secured it there the first night. Within an hour I had extremely uncomfortable shooting pains going up my arm and into my neck. It was close to being unbearable and I was unable to go to sleep most of the night. Around 4am it began to subside and from that time on, all pain vanished and the wart disappeared within 10 days. For me, painful but effective.

Banana Skins worked for me.I had many stubborn Plantar warts on my feet including a cluster the size of a table spoon.Medical Acid and nitrogen freezing did nothing as well as two other internet cures however the essential oil did agrivate the warts. I tried the banana and they are dissappearing fast(3 weeks) They may be dead now but I am not taking any chances so keeping up the bannana peels at night. I tape them on with duct tape and cover with socks to hold in place. No Pain lots of gain. It worked for me.
