My 9 year old daughter developed two warts: one on her toe and one on her finger, both near the nail. I decided to try the banana peel remedy. The one on her finger came off in three days. The one on her toe, which had been there for several months came off in five days leaving a little sore indent where it had been. She has no pain at all. Amazing!

Had planters warts for 6 plus years. Had them cut out by family doctor, that did not work, tried every home remidy I found on this computer. Banana peels taped to them with furnace tape seems to have killed the little beggers. Banana peels for 5 days, to me is seems unreal, a miracle that my feet don't hurt seems they are just smoothing over. Have pictures if I could figure out how to get them to you.

I can't even tell you how much this works. I had warts on my fingers for 3+ years to which I saw many doctors who couldn't get rid of them. I was just shy of laser surgery when they realized they couldn't do it because my nails would never grow back. Finally, my dad told me to try the banana peel. One week later, they were all gone and I had over 10 of them. My doctors had done absolutely everything including the painful surgery and a skin cancer cream to keep them from spreading. I urge you to try it. Be vigilant in your efforts doing it every morning and night. I also had to file the wart down at each dressing, but I can't even explain to you how happy I am it worked.

My husband is a doctor who tried 3 times to freeze the wart on the bottom of my foot. But it just made it bigger and more sore. In the past year I've used salicylic acid, burning and scraping to no avail. I've been in pain most of that time. Three days ago I read about the banana treatment. My husband laughed at me and said, "maybe you should try magnets, too." But I did it anyway. I used duct tape to hold the banana skin to my foot. In 24 hours that wart was dying. In 48 hours I was pain free. My foot is finally healing. I am so grateful. Even though my husband makes a living by burning warts off people, I told him it would be malpractice if he didn't recommend this treatment to his patients. It's easy and fast.
To the few people for whom this treatment didn't work, maybe what you have is not a wart. Have your doctor check to make sure it's not a mole or a cancerous skin patch.

I found this website when looking for cures for my daugher's warts, she has several on her hand. We taped small pieces of banana peel to each wart every night and two are gone, two are getting much smaller, so I'm positive they will disappear. I can't remember how long it has taken, but I would guess at least 1 month. We would forget several nights too.
Also, I found the rememdy of ACV for toe fungus and have soaked my foot every nite for about 1 or 1-1/2 months. The toenail isn't completely grown out yet, but this new growth is looking very clear, so I think that worked and it will grow out clean.
Thank you for cheap and easy remedies.

My 5 year old daughter had a nasty cluster of 3 warts on top of her foot. We tried to freeze it off and it didn't work and only mad her cry with the pain that was associated with the procedure.
We were very reluctant to go the doctor because we knew that they would want to try to cut it out and to a 5 year old that was tramatic.
We happened to mention to our friends that she had some warts and they directed us to this website. We thought that we had nothing to lose but to try the banana peel treatment because it was only a harmless banana peel. So I cut up a banana about an inch by inch size and tape it onto the warts with some bandaides to keep it still. Note, before putting the banana peel on I would wipe another piece onto warts to try to saturate the area.
After the first night you could see that it started to work because it raised and soften the warts. We changed the banana peel the next day and by the time she was ready to go to bed one of the three warts fell out! We changed the peel that night and the remaining two warts came out but some partial of remaining so we did it one more night and everything was gone! Therefore, a total of 3 days and the warts were gone and my little girl did not have to do to the doctor and go through cutting them out. We did do additional follow up treatment for about a week or so and put some antibiotic oitment to heal void that the warts left behind.
Awesome, awesome way to get this warts out painless and fast! Just give it a try, its only a banana peel and it won't hurt you to try....you'll love the results!

So, call me a skeptic. I developed a plantar type wart on my thumb and a raised one pinkie which were both extremely irritating. I had tried OTC "freezing" at least three times, and the garlic method, which cleared up my son's warts, but neither worked. In fact, they made them worse!
Figuring, it couldn't hurt, I tried the banana peels. I cut a small square of the greenish part near the stem of the banana, and held it on with waterproof adhesive tape overnight. I removed it the next morning, and although they looked all waterlogged at that point, as the warts dried out I noticed that they had all these black spots.
I didn't use the bananas every day - - rather about 2 times a week at night, whenever I remembered (and had bananas!) After about 4 times of using the "treatment", the warts had turned nearly all black and were drying up. I filed them down, and used the banana again. As of this AM, the smaller one on my pinkie is gone and the one on my thumb is now smooth and flat, but still a little discolored. I figure another day or two, and it, too, will be completely gone.
Try it. You won't be disappointed!

We have battled a series of plantar warts on my daughters finger for about a year and a half; we had what was initially a single wart that subsequently progressed to a group of warts frozen off at a dermatologist's office four times. My daughter says this is very painful. I'm not really a believer in "old wives tails", however, someone in passing told us about the banana peel thing. We've taped a piece of the banana peel on the warts for three consecutive nights now and most of the wart is gone. There was marked improvement after the very first night; the next morning the wart had turned a blackish/brown. So I have to say, this method seems to work, so far...Even if it comes back partially, this method is certainly a lot less painful!

I first tried ACV for my senile wart (that's what the doctor called it), and although it started to go black, it got extremely painful. I believe I have a rather high tolerance for pain, but it got unbearable one night when I woke up and my arm was throbbing. I then switched to Iodine, but found that too harsh as well. Last try was the banana peel - and oh how I wished I had of tried this first!!! Within two days it was black and gone and only a wound remains - and best of all - no pain! Thanks for such a great site!

Banana peels worked miracles on my plantars wart!
i am sixteen and have had a plantars wart on my foot for about a year. it was very small at first and i thought it was a callus for about eight months, until my aunt suggested that it may be a wart. i scheduled an appointment to have it looked at, but was terrified about having it cut out after googling the procedure. i came upon this website and was so excited with the success everyone else has had, so i decided to give it a try.
after three days i noticed a huge difference and canceled my doctors appointment. after about four days my wart turned blackish-brown. now it has been a little over a week and i no longer have ANY PAIN, and the wart is very small, with pink skin starting to surface. i am so grateful to this website and all of the inspirational success stores! you have saved me much stress, worry, money, pain, and recovery!
my method:
-first i used a foot scraping blade i bought at the drugstore to remove the hard outer skin that had formed. (this did not hurt, make sure to soak your foot first)
-next i cut a piece of banana peel and taped it to my foot with medical tape
thats it!
-a few days later i repeated the scraping process

My 14 year old son has a couple of large warts and quite a few smaller ones on his hands that he was really embarrassed about. We had tried different chemist remedies but nothing had worked. I came across this site (which is AMAZING) while looking for a burn cure, and searched for wart cures. I was sceptical about the bananna peel cure, and so was he, but we tried it and while they did not turn black and drop off, as lots of other people have experienced, they have nearly gone!! Thanks so much for this wonderful website - I have told lots of my friends about Earthclinic here in New Zealand and we all think its awesome!!!

I tried the banana peels for foot warts and I am soo happy to report that it worked!! I've had the warts for years and never did anything about them until recently when they grew and it became painful to take a step. I looked on this site and first tried the ACV which was messy since the tape wouldn't stay on. Then as the pain increased I finally tried the banana peels. At first the warts became very bulgy and white. I guess it was sucking them out since a cluster was revealed that I thought was only one wart.
Recipe: I cut the banana peels to small squares and taped them on with masking tape then I put socks on to hold them in place
I used them religiously around the house for about 3 maybe 4 days. Then I went out of town so I couldn't use this remedy. When I came back I realized that the warts not only had stopped hurting but that they were now little black dots! I will continue the treatment for a couple of days more just so all the warts are completely removed =)
