I use 35% H2O2 in a dropper bottle for dosage in water. It is quite common that a few weeks after filling, the rubber on the bulb gets sticky, distorted and falls apart. Is this common? Is there a "special" dropper I should be using? Thanks!! Jeff

Jeff, I had into the same problem until I purchased a new dropper and now keep it in the refrigerator. I hope this helps. I bought my dropper at the pharmacy of our local Kmart. Good health to you and yours.

My rubber plunger on the dropper would always balloon or melt. Now I just keep a dropper on its side, next to the bottle, and use it exclusively for the h202.

I am new to this and kind of confused about taking Hydrogen Peroxide.

1. When you are talking about putting the drops in your glass of water is it the straight 35% food grade or the diluted 3% H2O2? If you use the 35% by drops in your drinking water why dilute it to 3%?

2. We have well water, do I have to use distilled water to mix with and drink?

3. Is it okay to mix it with more water then 8 ozs at a time? I drink a lot of water and was wondering if I could mix it in the bottles I take to work. If so, how much can I put in a liter bottle with ice, and is ice ok to use?

4. Can I drink it throughout the day as I sip my water or is it better to drink all at once in a smaller glass?

As you can tell I have a lot of questions and am very excited to start using this.

I love this site and very happy I stumbed onto it. Thank you very much for putting this information out there for us.

I use food Grade Hydrogen peroxide. THe 35% is way to strong, so it must be diluted. Must be taken on an empty stomach. I like to take it before I eat. Then I can eat after 30 minutes. If you take it after you eat you have to wait 2 hrs. Once I forgot and got an upset stomach. I take it 3 times a day if I am sick. If I would remember to gargle with it at the first sign of a sore throat, I wouldn't get sick.

You can see it foam up, just like when you put the regular peroxide on a inflamed cut. I try to gargle for at least one minute 3 times a day.

Good luck

i have been making my own 3% from 35% for five years. i take orally 10 to 15 drops as the severity of my cold, i feel dictates. Empty stomach is a must. Do not try otherwise.

i wonder if anyone ever made restrictions/comments for child use? i have a friend w/ 5yr old who has nagging nose drip, etc, partially w/ allergy. i want to know if anyone read about age restriction and quantity. thanks.

I have not tried this therapy yet I'm only researching right now but I read you can make a nostril spray out of it.. That might be ok for a child. But go read and find out how to make it.. The 35% food grade has to be reduced to 3% than mixed with distilled water in a spray bottle.. I'm going to try myself!

I have a question here regarding using Hydrogen Peroxide food grade 35%. I have got this product from a health food drug store, and I want to give it to my mom who is 73 years old, and she is suffering from arthritis on her both knees. I would appreciate if someone give me a direction how to use Hydrogen Peroxide.I know I should start it slowly by giving her 1 drop a day twice. Does she need to take it on empty stomach or not? what will be the side effects?

Thanks,

Hi

There are several ways to use h2o2. Internally, it is a powerful stuff. Start slow. Always on empty stomach. Externally, one of EC posts suggest to rub the knees with regular h2o2 (3%) several times a day. I could not find easily that post.

Magnesium is also great. Applying soaked towels with Epsom Salt solution on knees will also help. Rubbing with regular milk of magnesia is also an option. Things will take time.

H2O2 and ES can be taken in baths, see http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1614147#i .

One of my posts in EC https://www.earthclinic.com/remedies/hydrogen_peroxide6.html#GF offers a lot of links to h2o2 articles. Its content is basically the same as http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=1586256#i , but the later as a chart for the number drops in water. In the articles you will find good info.

Charts are just guidelines. Amount x is relatively not the same for a person of 100 pounds than for a person of 200 pounds. Level of weakness should be considered. With h2o2 less is better than too much.

There might be some detox symptoms. If too strong, reduce concentration to a comfortable level and increase it later.

IMO h2o2 is great. But I would strongly like you to consider alkalizing protocols. And better nutrition will also help. Improving nutrition and alkalizing may remove the causes.

Unsulfured Blackstrap Molasses is also a good source of alkalizing minerals. In meals just replace regular sugar with it.

Good luck and god bless people helping their parents.

Hydrogen Peroxide dilution

I've been hearing so many great things about H2O2 that I decided to buy a bottle of food grade peroxide. My question is how to dilute it. It's a 4oz. bottle. On the back of the bottle it states "contains 12% aqueous solution of food grade hydrogen peroxide". I know you can't post brand names but the company looks to be o-w & company and it's in a red and white bottle. I have one more question. After diluting it can I put it in a water jug "clearly marked of course"? Thanks to anybody who takes the time to answer my questions.

My wife and I have been using the food grade h2o2 for 3 days now and feel an amazing amount of energy. You can tell that it is doing it's job of cleaning up the mess inside. The correct way to dilute it is: 1 oz 35% h2o2 mixed with 11 oz distilled or other pure water (not tap).

Start with 1 drop of this new mixture (3%) 3x a day and move up a drop every day until you hit 25 drops. Then you can begin to taper down when you feel or see results. We started right at the middle mark though (we're just crazy) and wouldn't recommend others do that, but we're feeling great already and look forward to better health. I would also recommend to take a few days off of it every month.

Joe

Hi my name is Dan,48yrs old. I have been taking the Hydrogen Peroxide Food Grade (HPFG) 35% for acouple of weeks now. I'am up to 16 drops 3 times aday. I've been using water distilled its been hard because of the taste. I reed in a book I have that I could use Milk, so from this point on I've been using milk and it has really help me drink it. But at around 19 drops I caught a COLD started out as a sore throat and went into my chest. I don't understand how I got this because the HPFG is suppose to kill viruses and everything else specially at 19 drops 3times a day. Any answers on why I got sick at this point in the therapy. 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide

I drink a glass of either combination; 4 oz of Aloe Vera juice, fruit juice 2oz or Distilled water 4oz and 2-3 oz of fruit juice and add various amounts of 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide..I use a dropper so it's about 20-40 drops depending on ?

Lately i have been using about 40 drops every morning and sometimes take my vitamin regime with the liquid ( alfa lupoic acid, vit D, Vit E, salmon oils, multi vitamins, acai chews, vit c chewable, B "50", Glucosamine& Chondroitin. Then eating later about 11am or noon

Is this a good thing?
If I was to get pregnant would this be a good thing to continue?
I am very prone to yeast infection so this is when I started this 35% h020 drinking.

Side effects of oral H202

I have been taking my daily dosage of food grade H202 for the past couple weeks with good success. The only hiccup I had was a herx reaction on the 3rd day that went away within a couple of days. I usually take my H202 around 11 am, since by this time my breakfast has been digested very well. I made the mistake this past weekend of eating a HUGE lunch, I mean the gut busting, miserable feeling, jeans popping kind. I waited the usual 3-4 hours and took my dosage. BIG mistake. Within an hour I got nauseated and queasy. By 1am that night I had sharp stomach pains and symptoms that basically replicated a stomach virus (this is what happened with my first herx reaction). I believe this was because I still had food in my stomach from my lunch and the peroxide was reacting to it. So be warned...make sure you have an empty stomach before your dosage. I should have waited at least 6 hours after that big of a meal. It is not fun :( But all in all I am having a good response to the H202 in general. Just respect it.

I started the H202 orally as of 12/12/2009. I use 3% diluted food grade and distilled water. I have systemic candida so I started at the absolute lowest dosage of 1 drop 1X daily. I have increased it by 1 drop each day. As of this morning I have an upset stomach, achy body, fatigue and low grade fever. My stomach is what bothers me the most. It feels like someone is stabbing me in the stomach. I know all about the herx reaction and I planned on it but not so quickly! I've only gone to 3 drops 1x daily! My question is this...is there something I could be doing to speed up the process. I don't want to quit because of all the health benefits. Do I need to decrease it or keep going and maybe it will rectify itself? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, you just have to work through it.

I suggest you first do a "mini" colon cleanse for 7 or 10 days. Start your date with a Salt Water Flush (wait two hours before you go anywhere).

Google for the recipe. I personally use half of this amount, and it works very well. During this period make sure you are eating high amounts of fiber. My favourite is organic brown rice (make it 70% or so of everything you ingest during the day days).

Then try the peroxide treatment again(I have no experiences with that one, so can't comment).

Does use of H2O2 internally create harmful free radicals? I read this on a website that this is true if taken for general, long term health. They stated it ought to be used for cancer and other immediate serioius conditions.

Does H2O2 Increase Thirst? I just started taking drops of 35% Food Grade Peroxide diluted to 3% in water. I am taking 6 drops 3 times per day, on day 4. I noticed on day two that I woke up with cotton mouth and have been extremely thirsty ever since. Nothing seems to quench my thirst. Is this normal while taking H2O2? I have never had this problem...in fact, I used to have to force 8, 8-oz glasses of water down my throat every day, now since being on the H2O2 I am drinking 12-14 glasses of water and still feel like I have cotton mouth. Please let me know if this is normal? Thanks!

WARNING!

Storage of H2O2 35% Food Grade (Caution)

Dear friends:

The following information comes from a commercial company but I think is useful for all of us:

"In recent weeks I've been having conversations with a fascinating man in the mid west... Mr. Grotz has dedicated the last 25 years of his life to, as he puts it "spreading the good word about hydrogen peroxide".

But not without a lot of personal experimentation and research, first... Here are a few tidbits from our conversation that I thought no one who is dealing with or handling hydrogen peroxide should be without, and I hope you'll find them useful.

1. Never store 35% Food Grade H2O2 in soda bottles or other containers that can be mistaken for water or drinks. In the 2 cases of death by drinking pure 35% H2O2 that came up in our discussion, both occurred when storage containers were in the home food refrigerator or freezer and were NOT MARKED AS 35% FGH2O2.

2. If you ever DO ingest, or are in the presence of someone who ingests 35% FoodGradeH2O2, DO NOT LET THEM LIE DOWN. Make the person remain sitting upright or standing NO MATTER WHAT. This is because the peroxide will bubble up and release gas from the stomach. If the person lies down, they will suffocate. In both the cases of death mentioned above this is exactly what happened. This is most likely because the pain caused in the stomach is strong enough to cause the person to want to lie down and curl into a ball.

3. If you remain upright, then you will feel awful, and your stomach will hurt a lot. but you will live and have no long term ill effects.

How is it that Mr. Grotz would know this information and know it is trust- worthy, you ask? Let me tell you. It turns out that Mr. Grotz has not only read over 10,000 medical papers on the uses of hydrogen peroxide, he also took matters very much into his own hands in this instance.

Believe it or not, he actually tested this theory on himself. He drank some 35% FGH2O2. Not a lot, but some. By remaining upright he survived the experience, with only a temporarily strongly upset stomach and not other ill effects. Personally, I would strongly advise against this form of testing, myself!

More recently, a woman called him when someone in her household drank 35% FGH2O2. She was in a panic. He gave the instructions to make sure the person remained upright. The woman called back the next day to thank him. She had followed his instructions, and the "victim" had survived drinking 35% Food Grade H2O2.

While these instances of people accidentally drinking pure 35% Food Grade H2O2 are rare, it is certainly worth knowing what to do in the event that it happens. The best way to avoid this kind of crisis is to keep all pure 35% Food Grade H2O2 well labeled, in containers with child proof caps (must be either squeezed or pressed down while turning to open).

It is recommended to keep 35% FGH2O2 in the freezer; but if you have young children you should seriously consider a locking freezer unit that is NOT the home food freezer.

It should be noted that in all the incidents I know of, the persons who actually drank the 35% hydrogen peroxide were over the age of 16. They were not children who could not read. That is because hydrogen peroxide looks just like water. In the freezer it will not freeze, so perhaps it could be mistaken for vodka or some strong form of alcohol.

In any event, drinking pure 35% hydrogen peroxide CAN kill a person; and is always at the very least an extremely uncomfortable experience. So store it safely, locked in a commercial freezer and well labeled to avoid potential danger to everyone.

It's true that hydrogen peroxide breaks down safely to water and oxygen, and isin that sense and in very weak dilutions is completely non toxic. However, strong solutions of hydrogen peroxide are caustic oxydizers. Having the right information makes all the difference."

Best regards.

Luis

Makittle: Always check the MSDS sheet for data on any corrosive, toxic, or dangerous chemical or substance.

http://msds.fmc.com/msds/100000010225-MSDS_US-E.pdf

This covers very well any range the H2O2 strength will be in if degraded.

"FOOD GRADE" is of course supposed to be 35%.

It must be kept out of the light if in a translucent bottle! That's why those small (about 250-500 ml) H2O2 pump sprayer bottles sold in drug stores are a dark brown plastic.

Check your freezer with a thermometer A deep freeze separate freezer will be colder than an icebox (kitchen) fridge-freezer.

FREEZING POINT: -15°C/6°F (20%); -22°C/-8°F (27%); -26°C/-15°F (31%); -
33°C/-27°F (35%)

One way to tell if the H2O2 is slightly decomposed but perfectly usable (after all, the small spray bottle stuff is only 3%) is to measure the specific gravity, but you would need a hygrometer for that:

SPECIFIC GRAVITY: 1.07 @ 20°C/4°C (20%); 1.10 @ 20°C/4 C (27%); 1.11 @
20°C/4°C (31%); 1.13 @ 20°C/4°C (35%)

Simple test is to dilute a few drops about 5:1 or 10:1, then drip onto a wetted toothbrush head.

Just as people who use it for this will attest, it will bubble and fizz as it encounters some enzymes on the brush head that break it down fast.

I have been using the 35% food grade for many things, drinking water, although I only seem to get 2 glasses a day in, brushing my teeth with it and baking soda, mixing it with acv and applying it to raised skin spots on my face and also for skin tags on my neck. I also spray up my nose before bed and add a couple drops to the water in my cpap machine. I have only been using it about 10 days.

My question is this, I am leaving for Florida on vacation in a couple of weeks and am wondering if it is safe to pack the 35% in a little blue dropper bottle in my suitcase for the flight? I would call the airline. It may be banned, especially in that concentration. H202 has been used in bomb making, and they could potentially have dogs sniffing that stuff out at airports (just speculating on that point; I really don't know). If it's banned, I wouldn't chance the ensuing hassle you'd get in these high-security times. Call the airline for the definitive answer.

I do not think that flying with 35% hydrogen peroxide is allowed, and in fact, if they find it in your luggage, you could get in serious trouble. Do a search for the MSDS (Material Data Safety Sheet) for 35% hyrogen peroxide. I think you will find that it is a Hazmat substance because it is so corrosive. I would also call the airline or airport to make sure of what the regulations are.

Use FILTERED water, no chlorine. For this peroxide to work, it needs to be mixed with pure, clean water. Make sure u read about the quantities of EACH. Don't do a couple of drops into quart of water. There is a monthly regiment and dosage to mix. I left mine in the bathroom. My teeth are bad. Month later took mouth full, tasted funky, and had scum on top. Stupid me. Swallowed some and it gave me the runs. Follow ALL instructions. This is NOT the 2% u buy in store. It does recommend distilled water. Don't see any difference

Question is, would inhalation help hi BP etc instead of drinking it? Would be interested to know also if anyone takes ACV & bicarb too as spacing all these things out to take on empty stomach is very difficult to do 3 x a day and not mix the two.

Dear EC or others knowledgeable, when I went to my local health food store and asked if they carry food grade HP, they said "it is food grade but we only carry it in 3%". They read the label to me on the phone. That product is 8-10 times more expensive than the 3% HP sold in other retail shops that also contains no additives. What to do? Just not sure how the 3% FG one is different than the 3% HP without stabilizers in other shops?

About a year ago I accidentally overdosed on H2O2. I Accidentally put 1oz 35% H2O2 into about 10oz of juice making it about 3.5% and chugged it down, within moments I realized that it was not the colloidal silver that I had thought it was. Of course it made me quite ill and I threw it all up. I then called the poison control center to see if I was going to need medical attention (it is a very good idea to label things well). We decided since it was diluted somewhat that it would probably not burn holes in my stomach. I felt quite sick for another hour or so then went on to feeling really good with the only side effect being that I was full of energy.

I first got interested in H2O2 as I was using it in my hot tub (1-cup 35% to 600 gallons of water) as an alternative to chlorine. When I switched to H2O2 we noticed that instead of the normal after hot-tub fatigue we were coming out feeling very energized. Apparently it absorbs through the skin and put extra oxygen in the blood. I have also been taking 7-drops 35% H2O2 with a glass of water on a regular basis as an effective energy drink for several years without any side effects except an increase in energy. I have been using Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide 35%. Brian

I have been using food grade HP for a few days now... But I am really sick to my stomach.... And am ready to give it up .... I am up to 24 drops three times per day.... And yesterday I said I cannot take another dose..JUST SO SICK ALL DAY LONG!! Nothing except the nausea..No other signs of a healing crisis... Not vomiting... But I am just wondering if the HP can be mixed in any type of juice..Such as cranberry juice, orange juice etc.. I see mixed reviews on the topic... And I saw aloe.... Watermelon acn be used? Either of those do not interest me... Can anyone help ...?? I am ready to give this up.... But truly need to continue as I am trying to rid myself of several ailments... And truly wish to continue as I am convinced HP is WONDERFUL.... And I know I can benefit from it.... Thanks for any advice in advance...

I think you need to cut back on your dosage. Don't be in such a hurry. Stay with the dossage you can tolerate and then move up very gradually. I got up to 20 drops 3x per day and that's all I could tolerate, that was without juice. Now I'm gradually going back down to a 5 drop maintenance level, so it takes a little longer, that's ok. I have type 11 diabetis. I believe in this tx and please don't quit, I've noticed some small changes, and look forward to no more colds or flu. Tom

How did you get so quickly to 24 drops when you use it only for a couple of days? Remember start of with 3 drops 3x per day and then increase by 1 drop per day. When you go to quick start over again, when you dont feel well try breathing deeply in and out 8 times or so after you taking it. All the Best

You stated you had been doing hp for a few days and you were up to 24 drops. You should go back and read the procedure for building up slowly the amount you drink. You should not be at 24 drops until at least day 15. If the amount is to much for you back down until you are comfortable and then increase the dosage slowly.

You said you had been on the h202 for a few days now and are sick to your stomach. It sounds to me like you went too fast. It took me approximately 50 days to get up to doing that many drops 3 x per day. I would suggest going back to the beginning and starting over. Try just 3-5 drops 3 x per day. The following day increase 1 drop with your morning dosage and if it makes you feel sick drop back to the previous day's dosage. I found I had to stay at the same dosage for 2-3 days before I could increase it. My problem was I could barely stand the taste of the stuff. Good luck!

I cannot advise you on how to tell if the HP you are taking is making a difference to your condition, but you can test the solution to ensure that it is active. With a 3% solution you can perform some domestic bacteria killing and see (and or hear) the fizz (that's how you can tell it is working). Some simple ways to do this are spray or pour some onto a used dirty cleaning cloth or into a small tub and let your toothbrush sit in the solution.

Don't ingest any of the 3% solution - that is far too strong. Only test this strength domestically, to get an indication of the actual effectiveness of your HP.

I have been doing the h202 inhalation method for about 2 months now. I spray about 3 or 4 times per day, each time about 6 shots. It seems I can breathe deeper when I am working out than previously. I have been taking the ACV for a little bit more than 3 months. I just added the baking soda this week, I read about it over the weekend. I have been doing the h202 therapy food grade in water for 57 days. It took me 50 days to get up to doing 25drops in about 10oz of water 3times per day. It is really horrible tasting stuff but I am not experiencing the metallic after-taste you are, except right after I drink it. It is kind of a pain because you need to time this stuff. They say drink the h202 1 hour before you eat or 3 hours after you eat.

Here is the schedule I have been using. I drink the h202 and the ACV at the same time around 7am. I don't eat breakfast I drink some protein about an hour later. Around 11am I drink the h202 and ACV again (not mixed together) just 1 right after the other. It will make your stomach a little queezy but it doesn't last long. I eat lunch around 12 or 12:30. I drink the last h202 around 5-6pm and eat an hour or so later. I am doing the ACV only twice per day with 3tablespoons in 8oz of water with 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda. The results I am having are as follows: some part of this makes your skin look really good, quite glowy and youthful. It is making my arthritis worse so I am hoping that is a good thing and it will hopefully subside as I keep doing the therapies. The h202 makes me rather hot feeling and when I workout I sweat more than I ever have before. I hope that is toxins coming to the surface. I feel like this is ridding my body of unwanted toxins that probably have been accumulating over the years. I am 52 and got arthritis of the spine (osteo) in about '03 and I also have it in my right knee and right shoulder. So, in all my research on this sight I decided to try natural remedies to see if I could cure myself of my various ailments. Not a fan of Doctors or the pharmaceutical industry here. I have never tried an arthritis medicine that worked for me, they just upset my stomach really bad and cost a fortune.

Oh, one more thing, I have always had severe allergies in the spring. The pollen here in Memphis April and May is a killer. This year I had absolutely no allergy problems during that time. Usually I stay loaded up on allergy meds till it gets really hot. I am getting ready to add drinking borax in water throughout the day. Trying to rid my body of the metallics which I hear can be a major contributor in arthritis. Anyway, that is my take on this stuff to date. If I can find a natural cure for something that ails ya', I'm all for it. Hope it helps someone out there.

Also look into making yourself some bone broth for your arthritis. Our vet said it's one of the best things you can give your dog, and after doing some research on it, I found that it helps arthritis by pulling the collagen out of the bones. You just boil the bones with some vinegar or lemon juice until they start to fall apart. I start mine in a regular pot, and then put it in the crock pot before bed, and let it go for 4 to 7 days. I make soup with it using a vegetable use as part of the base, as well as give it to my dog with has arthritis in her back and elbow dysplasia. She's doing quite a bit better, and I'm afraid if I didn't start giving her this, she would be so bad off we'd have to put her to sleep. She absolutely loves it!

Hi All health-seeking friends

I have been introduced to HP recently..Today I had 3 drops of 35% Food grade HP in 250 ml of water. I have been feeling a bleachy taste in my mouth since morning and also having some acidity.

I have some questions

1) Shall i start taking ACV with Baking Soda also in addition to HP - If so , the how much qty of ACV and how much baking soda and what should be the time gap between taking HP and ACV ?

2)- I have Silver fillings in a couple of my teeth. Will the silver fillings react with HP (when I drink or gargle)and cause any problem ?

3) I am all excited but would like to ask if inhalation method is better than drinking it in distilled water

Can any one please advise. Shall be grateful for a quick response.

Dear Sumeysh:

I tried the drip protocol but I couldn't go on because of stomach disturbing. Then I started inhalation and this worked for me, so far. Besides, it is more comfortable, you can take your little spray bottle anywhere with you. Remember, it is also great for cleaning your hands avoiding flu contagion (by the way, it is a good idea to shot your ears too).

You HAVE to mix the 35% with 10 parts distilled water! To make it 3%!

At 35% its too strong and will not be good to use that way!

So mix 1 part H2O2 with 10 parts distilled water.

Distilled water because it has only hydrogen n oxygen.

I'm advising from 3+ years of using H2O2 as an inhaler with exceptional results.

Only use FOOD GRADE H2O2 also.

Be well

TUESDAY, your mixture is wrong. The easiest way to get from 35% to 3% is add 2 tablespoons of 35% peroxide to 12 oz of distilled water. For folks that use a nebulizer and want appox. 1 1/2% then just add 1 tbsp of 35% to 12 oz of distilled water. 2 tbsps = 1 fluid oz. Hate to rain on your parade, but your 3 years of use was at 3.5%, not 3%.

Dilution Rate H2O2 50%:

Hello everybody,

I have been reading about H2O2 for some time and so purchased (through the cleaning company I work for - no questions asked) 15 litres of 50% H2O2 (Oxy Bleach)and am wondering how I can dilute this to get 35%. I have thought about adding 15l of H2O2 to 1.5l of distilled water and wonder if this is correct.

I have read that it is vitally important to add the H2O2 to water and not the other way around and that at this strength (50%) anything other than water added or spilled into the H2O2 (like paper or metal fillings etc will cause an explosive effect.

BTW, the seller assures me the product is food grade and the label lists only H2O2 + water and the Product Safety data Sheet (PSDS) mentions no satbilizers either.

Fyi; it will not cause an explosive effect. No worries. You'd have to have high % H2O2 with contamination levels added during process of making it and then expose it to open high heat flame. So, you'd really really have to try to cause an explosion to take place. And that would be counterproductive to any healing properties and just an all around bad idea.

Hi Mike! There is a lot of confusion on this topic. When they say never take 35% or 12% or whatever percent, what they mean is IT MUST BE DILUTED.

Only preservative free H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) should be taken into the body, because the preservatives can be bad for you. Having said that, the next issue is the concentration, and 3% dilution seems to be as concentrated as you ever want to inhale or ingest.

So, the idea is only preservative free H2O2 which is the food grade, then make sure it is diluted down to a non-dangerous level.

I have a few questions about using 35% Hydrogen Peroxide Food Grade. In the past few years I have had some health issues and not sure if it is safe for me to do this. Last year I just found out I was type 2 diebetic and iam on metformin and they have me on high blood pressure meds to use as a ace inhibetor so the kidneys dont get messed up and Iam also take meds for high colestoral. And 2 years ago I had to have surgery for diverticulitis and they removed 8 inches of my large intestants. And then last year I had to go back and have surgery again because i had what they called a surgical hernia and they put a hernia patch in my stomic right around the belly button area. I know i have read that it wasnt good to do this treatment if you have ever had a transplant like liver or heart or etc... Due to the fact this is a foreign object in your body and the H2O2 treatment might harm you. Is this true? I just didnt know how this might react with the hernia mesh in my stomic with it being a foreign object. And also is it OK to do the treatment with my diebeties on medication or should i quit taking my meds to do this. I guess this is all and I hope I can do this treatment but I dont want to start til I find out if it is safe or not. Thanks And God Bless all

First of all however, I'd like to say thank you to Earth Clinic for what I feel is one of the finest sites of it's kind on the web, if not the finest. And thanks to all the contributors for the wealth of information to be found here.

Now to the question(s). Ted I have read hundreds of posts on here, and I've come up with too many different dilution schedules for H2O2 to count. I've pretty much gotten the point that to dilute the 35% Food Grade H2O2 to a 3.0% solution it should be 11 to 1, or 11 oz. distilled water to 1 oz 35% food grade H2O2. Here is where the problem begins. You had indicated that a .45% solution is what you recommended I believe. Is this correct, or am I in error? Also, when talking about taking drops I understand what drops are, but in how much distilled water, a bath tub, or an 8 oz. glass. Just taking drops without knowing the of the volume of the medium you're putting them in doesn't make much sense......:) Some folks are talking about using drops of 35% food grade in 8oz of water, some in 16 oz. of water, some are putting drops of 3% H2O2 in God knows how much many ozs. of water. I'm starting to get overwhelmed here you understand. :) I'd really appreciate your guidance.

I want to thank you for all your posts, and recommendations. I have COPD/emphysema from 40 odd years of smoking, which I haven't done for going on three years now, but I'm paying the price. Oh, and by the way, thank you for the Emphysema "CURE". You know I'm a firm believer in the power of posititive thinking, and a positive attitude (Dr. Wayne Dyer ). It's just that the medical community sees fit to simply tell you to "try to exercise, do breathing exercises, and prepare to die"! I'm not quite ready to go that route yet, I've got things to do and places to go! You in particular have given me hope, and the chance to see some light at the end of the tunnel so to speak, and I can't thank you enough. I've decided, a little late I know, that getting the "ol" body cleaned out and back in running condition again, is what I need to do. So, I'm currently doing the ACV and baking soda, the colloidal silver, the lecithin for fat emulsification, the cayenne pepper for circulation and heart health, the DMSO and the MSM to dissolve the tar in the lungs, and all the Vitamin supplements and trace minerals the body will take, but I'd like to start doing the nebulizer with the H2O2, in combination with taking it internally. Should I use a different concentration for the nebulizer than I do for the drinking water? Should I use 35% food grade H2O2 for the drops in drinking water, the 3.0% H2O2 for drops in the drinking water, or the .45% H2O2 for the drops in the water, HELP? With your guidance here I might just regain my sanity! .........:)

P.S. Just a side note for anyone that is taking the same, or similar type regimen. A chemist from Sovereign Silver, where I purchased probably the best colloidal silver on the market today, called and advised not to take the MSM within an hour and a half of taking the colloidal silver, because the MSM will bind with the silver if I were to do so. I appreciated that info immensely, and the fact that they would take the time to go to the effort to call to provide this information. Also he advised against using DMSO to act as an injector to get the colloidal silver into the lungs faster. However, he did say that using the recommended dosage for colloidal silver in a nebulizer would be a great idea and very benefitial. Just thought you might like to know.

Answer to Gary from Lakeside about Food Grade Peroxide

For internal use you must use FOOD GRADE H2O2. 3% solution from the counter is not necessarilly food grade. If it has stabilizer it is not food grade. The best way for internal usage is food grade distilled water and maximum .05% solution.

Can anyone tell me how to dilute 35% HP down to 0.45 percent? And/or from 3.5% to 0.45 percent? I've just tried to work it out and my head hurts lol! The reason I'm asking is that I have pet rats. Pet rats are very prone to tumours and although I have not had any problems yet, I would like to be have the correct dosage to give my babies if one crops up. Thaaankyou! lotslove Glenys

My parakeets used to get tumors, till I switched all food to Organic ONLY. Pesky pesticides cause tumors. Lugol's food grade Iodine is the best. Iodine eats cysts & tumors. I have even used on outside squirrels, I have the best before & after pictures of one girl covered in Tumors and now Tumor free, Bunny greets me every morning for an organic unsweetened banana chip. The neighbors use pesticides like crazy.

I'm curious about any negative long or short term effects that hydrogen peroxide may have on my body. I'm taking 35% with distilled water in this program:

Day - Drops - Times-A-Day - Total Drops

01 - 03 - 03 - 09
02 - 04 - 03 - 12
03 - 05 - 03 - 15
04 - 06 - 03 - 18
05 - 07 - 03 - 21
06 - 08 - 03 - 24
07 - 09 - 03 - 27
08 - 10 - 03 - 30
09 - 12 - 03 - 36
10 - 14 - 03 - 42
11 - 16 - 03 - 48
12 - 18 - 03 - 54
13 - 20 - 03 - 60
14 - 22 - 03 - 66
15 - 24 - 03 - 72

I'm up to 14 drops, however, I have some pain just below the spot where my heart beats and on the lower-left lumbar region. Should I be worried, or will this go away?

As a scientist, here's a fact very few people realise about any chemical in concentrated or dilute form.

All chemicals are just as powerful in concentrated or dilute form. It does not matter if the chemical is an acid, soap or detergent. The actual molecule of the chemical does not break down or change when diluted. The only thing that changes is the number of molecules that will be in solution compared with the number of water molecules. That's why a dilute solution of Hydrogen Peroxide will perform just as well as a concentrated solution.

Now, let's clarify this.

Hydrogen Peroxide is an "active" molecule (chemical) and attacks anything it comes in contact with. It tries (and succeeds) in transferring its additional oxygen atom to anything it touches and this changes the structure of the item it touches.

Pure oxygen is very corrosive and if Hydrogen Peroxide touches a living organism, it changes the structure of the organism to a point where the organism dies.

If a very dilute solution of Hydrogen Peroxide touches a colony of bacteria, even though there may be only one molecule of Hydrogen Peroxide for every 10,000 molecules of water, this still equates to hundreds of molecules that will touch a single cell of bacterium. This will kill the cell.

The Hydrogen Peroxide will also have an effect on any skin it comes in contact with but since the solution is weak, (only a few per 10,000 molecules of water) the active molecules of Hydrogen Peroxide will soon be used up.

Only some of the surface cells of skin will be damaged but since these are dead (outer layers), the skin will soon recover. If a strong solution of Hydrogen Peroxide is used, more of the skin cells will be damaged and this is where the danger lies. This applies whether the solution is taken internally or externally.

To sum it up: A weak solution is just as effective as a strong solution (at the microscopic level) and will continue to be effective until it is used up. That's why Hydrogen Peroxide is so dangerous (effective).

If HP causes whatever it touches to oxidize isn't that bad for your body? After all oxidation is part of the human aging process which is why we take antioxidants to fight free radicals and oxidation. Aging is the result of free radical oxidative damage. So my question is what effect will consuming HP have on your internal organs etc...?

The difference is between oxigination and oxidation I think. Oxidation is bad (like rust or ferric oxide) whereas oxigination is good (like oxy rich red, red blood). Hope this helps.

To help provide a clarification or a way to relate Dr Mitchell's point on peroxide strength, is imagine this with relation to vodka consumption, when making a vodka tonic.

You have 25ml of vodka mixed with 100ml of tonic water.

In another glass, you have 25ml of vodka with 200ml of tonic water.

Guess which one has more vodka in it? both! They both have the same amount, 25ml of vodka. Ie. they both will get you drunk just as quick lol.

Per 100 ml of the mixed solution it is weaker, but when you are consuming the whole glass each time, it is the same amount of vokda in either glass. Same concept applies with peroxide.

Taking Hydrogen Peroxide with other with prescription meds:

I have been looking at this site for several weeks now and just want to say I am very impressed with all the information I have found. One question I would like to find is does anyone know if it would be dangerous to the the Hydrogen peroxide therapy if being on other prescription drugs. My mother in law has been doing the food grade hydrogen peroxide in her water starting with 3 drops 3 x a day and increasing her way up by a drop till she has reached 25 drops. She is doing this treatment along with her chemotherapy and lots of other medicine she is on for liver cancer that came about after her breast cancer she is still on 25 drops and it says for serious cases to stay at 25 drops for awhile. So she continues to do this but is afraid to do the 3x a day so is only doing it once a day could it interact with her medicine or chemo, and her doctor does not know she is trying this treatment. But also want to let people know since she has started this treatment with the peroxide she feels much better we are waiting for her next tests to be done so we can if it has stopped the cancer in its track keeping our fingers cross any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks Earth Clinic for this site.

TO TASHA FR. OHIO, PLEASE SEE THE BOOK CALLED, " FLOOD YOUR BODY WITH OXYGEN", BY ED MCCABE

PLEASE TELL YOUR MOTHER TO STAY ON FOOD GRADE 35% H.P.! SHE WILL RID HERSELF OF HER DISEASE NATURALLY, AS LONG AS SHE STAYS ON H-202, FOR 3-5 MONTHS, OR AS LONG AS NECESSARY TO IRRADICATE HER BODY OF INVADING DISEASED CELLS.

However, Be Aware, first you want to take the H.P. with distilled water ONLY! Take the H.P. one hour before meals or medication, and one hour after meals and medication. DO NOT TAKE THE HYDROGEN PEROXIDE ALONG WITH ANY OTHER SUBSTANCE OR LIQUID!!!!!!!!!!!

AGAIN, PLEASE FOLLOW THE ABOVE INFO!!

PEOPLE WHO DO NOT HEED THE ABOVE STATEMENT, WILL SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES..., IE, ADVERSE REACTIONS!! THE BODY WILL GO THROUGH A CLEANSING REACTION WHEN TAKING THE H-202 ORALLY, AND WHEN YOU MIX THE H-202 WITH OTHER SUBSTANCES, YOU ARE ASKING FOR TROUBLE!

MUCH SUCCESS TO YOU,

Was lucky enough to find 35% H2O2 @ my local health food store and it came with a handout from the manufacturer that might be helpful.

Uses for 35% food grade Hydrogen Peroxide

Note: 35% H2O2 is highly concentrated and extremely strong. KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. If it is spilled on skin, wash immediately in cold water. Do not allow it to touch the eyes, if this happens, wash & rinse thoroughly with cold water. Store 35% H2O2 in the refrigerator or freezer.

HEALTH NOTE: Food-borne illnesses from fruits, vegetables, meats, fish & poultry due to bacteria, fungus or parasites are a little publicized problem. Soaking in a solution of 3% H2O2 can help kill these bad guys & also help remove pesticide residue that lingers on produce.

To make 3% H2O2, mix 1 oz. of 35% food grade to 11 oz. distilled water (preferably) or filtered water.

Vegetable Soak: (in place of bleach) Add 1/4 cup 3% H2O2 to a gallon of cold water. Soak light leafy vegetables 15 to 20 min. Soak thick skinned fruits & vegetables for 30 min. (apples, cucumbers, tomatoes, etc.) If time is a problem, you can spray with straight 3%, let stand a few minutes, rinse & dry.

MORE PERSONAL USES FOR H2O2

Athlete's Foot: Soak feet 10-20 min. each night in 3% H2O2 until condition is in remission.

Bath: 1 cup of 35% H2O2 to a full bathtub for a detoxifying bath. Note: try not to use this after 6-7 pm, as the increased absorbed oxygen may keep you awake.

Douche: Add 5 to 6 tablespoons 3% H2O2 to 1 quart distilled or filtered water.

Enema: Mix up to 6 tablespoons (Maximum) 3% H2O2 to 1 quart of distilled water.

Mouthwash: On arising, rinse mouth with water, then gargle & wash mouth with 3% H2O2 swishing for 1/2 to 1 min..(Note: a dash of chlorophyll adds flavor & effectiveness.) Helps prevent colds.

Nasal Spray: 1 tablespoon of 3% H2O2 added to 1 cup of pure water. Spray into nasal passages to relieve congestion.

Cheers

Taken from the (old) files of oxytherapy.com (Site now defunct).

THE AUTHOR OF THIS ARTICLE IS UNKNOWN!

Using 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide: (H2O2: - Internal)

Use the dosages listed in the chart with 5 oz. of distilled or purified water. When reaching higher dosages more water may be used.

Take on an empty stomach, 1 hour before a meal and at least 3 hours after a meal. If your stomach gets upset at any level, stay at that level, or go back 1 level.

Note: Candida victims may need to start at 1 drop 3 times per day.

Dosage Schedule for undiluted 35% H2O2

Day - Drops - Times-A-Day - Total Drops

01 - 03 - 03 - 09
02 - 04 - 03 - 12
03 - 05 - 03 - 15
04 - 06 - 03 - 18
05 - 07 - 03 - 21
06 - 08 - 03 - 24
07 - 09 - 03 - 27
08 - 10 - 03 - 30
09 - 12 - 03 - 36
10 - 14 - 03 - 42
11 - 16 - 03 - 48
12 - 18 - 03 - 54
13 - 20 - 03 - 60
14 - 22 - 03 - 66
15 - 24 - 03 - 72
16 - 25 - 03 - 75

For more serious complaints stay at 25 drops, 3 times per day for 1-3 weeks. Next graduate down to 25 drops, 2 times per day until the problem is taken care of. This may take from 1-6 months. Don't give up!

When free of complaints you may taper off by taking:
25 drops once every other day, 4 times
25 drops once every 3rd day for 2 weeks
25 drops once every 4th day for 3 weeks

Possible Reactions to H2O2:

Skin eruptions, nausea, sleepiness, unusual fatigue, diarrhea, colds (in head or chest), ear infections, boils, or any other method that the body uses to emit toxins from the body! (The toxins have been rooted out by the use of the H2O2.)

This is the natural way for the body to cleanse & the natural cleansing will be of short duration, as you continue to maintain your program. Above all, even if you must decrease the dosage, continue the program, don't give up.

If you get a cleansing reaction, you may want to increase the dosage to hasten the cleansing. A cleansing is the effect of the body of bacteria dying off, or various forms of poisons being released through the eliminative organs of the body, i.e. skin, lungs, kidneys & bowels.

Remember: When H2O2 comes in contact with virus & streptococcus, it will liberate free oxygen.

This may be happening in your stomach. If your stomach feels uneasy, it is only the H2O2 seeking out the virus & streptococcus to destroy.

Cheers

Hello. I've used H2O2 for several years now. I purchase mine through Guardian of Eden. (yes, be patient with shipping sometimes- its worth it)

With extra oxygen in the body, the body is able to perform much better, heal itself, and kill off invaders. Everyone is severely lacking oxygen intake and this should be a daily supplement for a lifetime. Let me elaborate.- Oxygen content 75 million yrs ago was 50%. A sudden drop due to volcanic and meteor disasters greatly contributed to the extinction of the dinosaurs. Until the mid 19th Century, the oxygen level decreased only slightly more to a level of 38%. With the advent of the industrial revolution in the late 1800's, which brought on massive pollution and car exhaust, by the 1950's the oxygen level in our atmosphere dropped to 21% - IN LESS THAN 100 YEARS!. THE OXYGEN LEVEL ONLY DROPPED 12% IN 75 MILLION YEARS!! The oxygen content today is estimated at less than 17% !! This factor alone, is a major reason of so many degenerative dis-eases. OUR BODIES REQUIRE MORE OXYGEN.

Only purchase 17% or 35% Food Grade H2O2, with a dropper bottle. To make 3% H2O2 from 35%, mix 11 parts distilled water with 1 part h2o2. (11 ounces to 1 ounce). Or, what I do is keep a dropper bottle and add drops to my glasses of water. Do NOT mix this solution with anything else, including taking vitamins!!
Start off slow! H2o2 is very strong and can be very dangerous! Start with one drop in a glass of distilled or purified water 1-3 times the first day, then move up one or two drops each day, BUT do NOT exceed 20 drops!

I also recommend ___ minerals, sea salts, and magnesium baths, which I personally use. (not a rep)

[This information is not medical health advise and I am not responsible for any persons who experience ill effects. These recommendations are based on trial and experience of many, and should not be taken as a substitute for medical advise]] (I wish I didn't have to say that)

To the lady who said her fish died from the local tapwater. The most likely reason is that she changed the water early in the day or at a time when the local authority had just put the daily dose of chlorine in the water and it was more concentrated than later in the day when it would have been more diluted . Changing the fishwater later in the day would make a difference.

If you run the cold water for a few minutes to flush out the heavy metals then put a bit of fresh water salt into it and let it sit for a few hours or days (if you are that patient) you can prevent killing future fish. also tossinn a cap of hydrogen peroxide into a 5 gallon thing of it if the change is needed imediately will promote the good bacterias growth!! itrs safe and the fish will love it mix it before you toss it in!!

Hi, I just found out if you use h2o2 in drinking water, it should be distilled water because h2o2 will bind with any chemical or mineral in the water and could become toxic. I found Guardian of Eden online sells small as well as large quantities of 35% food grade h2o2 I think as small as 1 pint or quart. I can't imagine getting a few drops out of a gallon jog without spillingso i'm going to buy the smallest size. I'm really scared to handle 35% food grade but am determined to give it a try. Seems diluting the 35% in distilled water myself is the only way to go to be sure there are no contaminants. Also learned it should be taken on an empty stomach 3 hours after eating. I'm learning something new everyday.

I have been a user of 12% and then 35% peroxide for 10 years. I have met every cold and flu, at the onset of symptoms, with a single "dose" of a peroxide dilution. With 12% I used 1/8 teaspoon per 4 oz of any non-carbonated drink. I used 3 drops of 35% peroxide in 4 oz of fluid. (With repeated confidence gained, I stopped needing to measure and just poured.) Take this on an empty stomach at the onset of symptoms and sickness is kicked in the butt. Symptoms never return. If I woke up in the morning sick, then I would redose like this every ten minutes until symptoms disappeared. Usually this came about after three doses and then an instance of throwing up. But symptoms would always clear and I could go about my day as if nothing bad visited me. These grades of peroxide will not burn the skin badly. In fact, if you have any growth on your skin, it is possible to use them full strength to kill any bacteria or fungus on skin. Wet a q-tip and apply to the spot. Yes, your skin will become white and there will be a simple stinging, but this is not to be feared. This will last for a limited amount of time and then clear. For example, 30 minutes. But you can practice diluting it and applying some to your skin to get a feel for it. This has been my friend for ten years and it has never hurt me.

3- Would anyone recommend using it at my cocker spaniel ears to get rid of the wax? They are very prone to ear infections because of build up of wax.
