This tasted fantastic. 20 minutes after drinking my sinus really feels like it's starting to drain. I suggest drinking it with as much hot sauce as you can handle.

Hi, I have suffered for years with chronic Sinus disorder. For a long time I've been using Goldenseal root, which works great if you use it at the first sign of a sinus attack/flare up. I wasn't able to catch this last one in time, and I'm very near to having an infection. The last time I had an infection I tried the apple vinegar in water, which didn't help for more then a few minutes This time I tried the Tomato tea. I didn't have any juice at 1:00 AM so I tried tomato soup. Added the garlic in powder form. Within a half hour my nose stopped running (the bad kind of running, when you lean over and it pours all over the floor), my throat stopped being scratchy, my face stopped being itchy and the post nasal drip down my throat stopped. I was able to sleep. The symptoms didn't come back for about four or five hours! When the symptoms came back they came back 100%. This time I bought some of the tomato juice and tobacco sauce. Something about the tobacco sauce made the tea work faster, within minutes my symptoms were gone! I'll swear by this remedy.

Worked better than any of the OTC drugs I have taken. I have had this congestion for two weeks. I just made my first tomato tea and drank it. This is the most relief I've had since I became sick. Pretty amazing.

Yesterday I had been suffering from an acute sinus infection for at least two weeks. I finally decided to go online to see if there was such a thing as a "natural" cure. I found this site after I did a search and was interested in what I read about a simple but skeptical sounding "cure" for it called Tomato Tea. Normally I can not stand anything remotely similar to the taste of tomato soup, but after suffering for what seemed like forever, I was willing to try anything! So I copied down the ingredients, went to the store to get the exact ingredients, and went home to make it. I used a garlic press to crush the garlic, I found that it took about two to three cloves to equal a teaspoon. And I used a whole teaspoon of hot sauce, I used Texas Pete. And heated it up after adding the other ingredients. I was amazed at how tasty it actually was. (I guess the fresh garlic made a difference in the taste.) After about an hour after consuming the "Tea", I noticed that FINALLY my sinus were draining, and I was able to clear out the infected mucus. Today, I made another glass and am happy to say that after a long time of suffering, I am on the quick road to recovery. Thanks to the wonderful person who suggested this cure! Sincerely, Margaret.

I've tried it four different times; it really works. I hate tomatoes, but this taste pretty good, like spicy soup. I've spent a small fortune on over the counter medications that usually didn't work as advertised. Try it, if it doesn't work, well you drank something that is healthy for you.

In my opinion, there is no magic in using the tomato juice--it is the raw garlic that has the antibiotic properties. Press several cloves of garlic through a garlic press into a strainer or tea ball, pour boiling water over and steep for several minutes. Remove strainer, add honey and lemon to taste. Or, if you prefer, omit the honey and go with the hot sauce.

I've been taking dayquil, nyquil, and every runny/stuffy nose reducer i could find, searched on the web and found this site with the recipe. Made it and an hour and a half later I can breathe out of both nostrils and there is no drip, consider me amazed!

It did clear up my sinus somewhat. I used tomato puree, didn't have the juice and I use minced garlic. I made mine like a soup. It did start to clear up the sinus a little after a number of spoonfuls. I started at 12:38pm and now it is 1:02 pm. Still feel stuffy but not as bad before using the remedy. I think will be good to use with my Flonase. Thanks!!!

It worked although it cleaned my nose sinuses (after 1st dose of tea) and not my frontal sinuses yet. I think probably the most active ingredient is Hot pepper, since there is new natural cure discovered last year "sinus buster" which is based on hot pepper substance from 2 kinds of peppers.

I have had a persistent sinus infection for over two weeks. My doctor put me on Amoxicillin. I took that and many over the counter remedies including a cough syrup and nasal spray the Doctor recommended and still I felt no relief. I looked on the web and came across this tomato tea remedy along with others. This one seemed to be the least likely to do my body any more harm if it was a hoax which it was not. I was afraid it would give me heart burn. which I can say it did not. I used a 1/2 a can of tomato soup and garlic salt instead of crushed garlic. I left out the lemon juice as I had none. Later I found I had a lemon drink powder and added a bit of that to the second drink I had to make. With the first sip I felt my sinuses open up and I found the drink tolerable. The lemon flavor gave it more bite and the concoction seemed to do a better job then without the lemon flavor. This is Amazing that it works so well so fast. I could feel my sinus's opening up more and more. Many Thanks to who ever came up with this remedy.
