Having been diagnosed with angina, I have been looking for natural remedies to help. I was very fortunate to come upon the research of by Drs. Wilfrid and Evan Shute and the Shute Institute for Clinical and Laboratory Medicine, London, Ontario, Canada.
The brothers discovered natural vitamin E could treat angina as well as most cases of heart trouble. They were relentlessly persecuted by the pharmaceutical and medical community for their discoveries, which is why they opened their own clinic, where they helped thousands of heart patients.
Use Natural Alpha Tocopherol (Vitamin E). I tried mixed tocopherols and had no success, but using only D-Alpha Tocopheryl acetate, I had rapid results.
Their protocol for angina is as follows: 450 to 1,600 IU if systolic pressure is under 160. Otherwise start on 150 IU for four weeks then 300 IU for four weeks, particularly if another hypotensive drug or agent is used.
I am currently taking 400 IU of D-Alpha Tocopheryl acetate twice a day (800 IU total daily) and my heart pain has disappeared!
Some of the Schutes' materials are free online. Please look up the Drs. Schute for more information about their use of vitamin E for angina and heart diseas
