[NAY]  01/16/2009: Lori from Kapaa, Hawaii writes: "I have had sinus congestion for the past several days real bad. I decided to try the 50/50 Peroxide/Water mix and squirt in each nostril. It burned like people said on your site and my nose started running like crazy, but it did NOT clear up my sinuses. Actually it increased the pressure in my sinuses so much that I did not sleep well at all, had a sinus headache, and my cheek bones hurt. I would not try that again."

10/30/2009: Joe from Wichita, Ks replies: "If using H2o2 burned your nose... you used too much. You should have only used about a tablespoon of 3% hydrogen peroxide to 8 ounces of water."

[YEA]  04/07/2008: Sarah from Baltimore. MD, USA writes: "My husband had been struggling with a sinus infection, he started taking 5 drops of hydrogen peroxide in a glass of water a couple times a day. The second day we doubled the dose and a few minutes later a ball of disgustingly yellow and green mucus came out flying from his mouth... I mean flying. It was pretty impressive. The nest of the infection was gone. Thanks HP!"

08/05/2009: Jim from Madison, Wi replies: "I hope you are not puting 5 drops of over the counter HP in a glass of water and drinking it. You can have some bad side affects from that. It is not recommended. However, I am glad that you feel better. If people are going to injest HP, they need to only use 35% Food Grade HP. Do lots of research before using and make sure you are sure of what you are doing... it can be fatal!"

[YEA]  01/15/2008: Larabelle from Dallas, Texas writes: "I have a neti pot and for sometime had been using distilled water, salt, and baking soda but tonight that did not work. My sinuses were aching and it is 11pm. I have to be up for work at 4:30am. I need my sleep because I am a registered nurse and my unit is always busy. Anyway I immediately came to your site to see what other remedies I could use. You may ask why did I not seek out one of my doctors to write an antibiotic prescription for me. Well, good question as a nurse I see repeatively people's kidneys damaged as well as yeast overgrowth due to antibiotics and I refuse to become one of the many with those conditions. Also I have found that alternative remedies found on this site work soo much better and faster. So anyway I decided to try 1/2 hydrogen peroxide and half water. IT WORKED!!! THANK YOU EARTH CLINIC FOR BEING HERE WHEN I NEED YOU!!"

[YEA]  12/25/2006: April from Guyton, GA writes: "I mixed about 6 parts water with 1 part hydrogen peroxide (the regularly available kind). I hung my head upside down off the side of the bed and had my husband squirt a little bit of the mixture into each nostril with a dropper. It DID burn, but I kept it in there as long as I could stand it, moving my face around to move the mixture through my sinuses. A few minutes after sitting back up, the mucous starting coming out of my nose and throat. I blew my nose for about 10-20 minutes and coughed up some mucous. It isn't pretty, but it worked. I did feel flush for several minutes afterward, too. That little bit of discomfort is worth the relief."

[YEA]  07/26/2006: Sam from Boston writes: "I have been suffering with my sinuses for last 6 months and i just came to realize i had sinusitis few days ago when i came to this website and i had my acid reflux (GERD) from last 6 years. I am living healthy lifestyle and eating fruits and vegetables and everything is in right balance but i was so confused what was wrong with me. I went to eye doctor first and then he told me to see my primary care physician, and he gave me painkillers first and then i was visiting him regularly and we did CT Scan as well. He was not able to see my sinus issue. So then i realized i have not cleared my nose properly in last 3-4 months, then it hit me and i was like damn-- i had sinusitis and doc had no idea that i was suffering from this unbearable pain. To come to the point, i used just hydrogen peroxide yesterday and holy cow i feel much better it is not all cured yet but i am grateful that if i had not come here to this site, i would have never known. And i am also taking apple cider vinegar with honey and it is helping a lot as well. Earth Clinic i want to thank you from the bottom of my heart."

It burns if you have an infection but it works great! Cures a sinus infection every time! If you have drainage, gargle with the same mixture and it will dry up the mucus in your throat."

10/30/2009: Joe from Wichita, Ks replies: "No, it burns because you're using too much peroxide. If it burns, you're using too much. Shouldn't use a 50/50 mix, you can some serious damage in your nose(mucus membrane, nerve damage etc.) If it burns into your teeth.... think about it..."

I can breathe easier and and my nose feels fantastic. MY head doesn't feel blocked up so i am definitely a believer."

It has totally healed my nasal membranes and I no longer get sinus infections, and I very seldom have to do any type of sinus flooding anymore. My sinuses feel great! I first started documenting my discovery on the Internet in 2003 and I've developed full documentation about "Upside Down Sinus Flooding" at http://home.bellsouth.net/p/PWP-upsidedown
The documentation contains warnings about the risk, to the Eustachian Tubes and Middle Ears, from flooding the nasal passages with any liquid. Those wishing to try a sinus flooding with Hydrogen Peroxide, Baking Soda and Kosher Salt should first check with their doctor."

[YEA]  02/21/2007: Richie from Newport, NC writes: "I have been taking pain killers for four(4) months now, have noticed mucus was becoming very thick and amber in color. being a person who pays attention to what comes out of my body, I became alarmed. I do not not like the idea of taking prescriptions, but at the time this was my option. Anyway, long story short; found your site, agree with most of your cures, but I also know that one size does not fit all. I tried most of your sinus remedies, paid attention to what ingredients were working, and found a simple technique to drain sinuses early morning w/little prep work. Turn on hot water, grab coffee cup, put 1 tsp sea salt, 1/2 tsp H202, small amount of hot water( enough to make paste out of sea salt) take q-tip, dip in solution until saturated, put in nostril , tilt head back and inhale deep. This will make you cry, but your sinuses will drain immediately. I suppose, just based on my own exp. that when taking meds, the binders in the meds that can't or don't get broke down find something else to bind to in your body. For me, it has been my mucus. Which also lends me to believe that the cure is worst then the disease, because we don't know how long these things can stay in our system or what else they are attaching them selves to that can become problematic over the course of your life."

[YEA]  02/08/2007: Shannon from San Diego, CA writes: "The Hydrogen Peroxide and Salt remedy mentioned really helped! As a vegan, I rarely get sick more than once a year (I agree with the feedback on the site that links dairy and preservatives to a number of ailments). I was born asthmatic and never given any help other than rescue inhalers. Which means that I have very weak lungs; and in turn that every sickness I get goes straight to my lungs. This season I had already had two sinus infections which resulted in both massive chest congestion and my first ever eye infection. When I woke up 2 days ago with that familiar sinus pressure and lung congestion I was definitely frustrated. My last sinus infection was so severe that I went to the doctor and got antibiotics (something I haven't done in years). I was determined not to have to do that this time. I stumbled upon your site and found a remedy that I could make from items I already had in my home. After combining the hydrogen peroxide and salt with boiling water and sticking a towel over my head for 15 mins to breathe in the steam, one sinus completely cleared. I repeated the process but didn't get the same result on the other side. However, when I woke up this morning, I could breathe out of both nostrils with a very minimal amount of congestion! I'm very excited! In addition, I'm going to try oil pulling with sesame oil today to see if it helps clear some of the mucous from my lungs. I look forward to further success!"

[YEA]  10/25/2006: Mike from Newton, NJ writes: "After suffering for three days with my twice/yr sinus infection and not getting any sleep, I wandered into the computer room @ 2am and did a search for a homemade remedy. I grew up visiting a grandmother who NEVER had a medicine in her house. It was always a 'concoction' that usually tasted horrible, but worked like a charm (ie. fresh cracked pepper in a shot of brandy before bedtime when you had a head cold. Tell that one to child services, but it put you out and you woke up without any symptoms! 100% better than Nyquil) Anyhow.....since it was so early in the morning and I couldn't find a eye dropper without waking the rest of the clan, I improvised with placing 3 TBS of peroxide, 3 TBS of salt in a bowl (don't use stainless steel, trust me!) and added boiling water. With a towel over my head for 15 minute, it work wonders, enough to let me go to sleep....until 6am, when WHAM! I awoke to the cool rush of air that hit my now clear sinuses!!!! I actually felt the pop and the rush it was so intense. I will never suffer through a sinus infection, that usually went into my chest for a few weeks, again!

God bless everyone who posts these remedies and I look forward to seeing if my recent BP reading of 150/102 will decrease with a little apple cider vinegar! Can't go wrong with Mother Nature."

06/05/2009: Sandra from Walnut Cove, North Carolina USA replies: "I read your remedy for sinus infection. I NEED HELP!!I have had a severe sinus infection since Dec.08, believe it!! I have gone to the doctor every 2 week for months. They have put me on everything. There is nothing else they can try. I have had a CT and I have seen a Ear, Nose and Throat doctor. He said that I have a deviated nasal septum and bone spurs. He also gave me medication that I have been taking for 2 months. He said that I need surgery. I have just had 5 major spine surgery's and I can't handle any more pain. I feel I having trouble breathing and the drainage is so bad I get sick on my stomach and I am using tooth ache and ear ache medication all day. The dentist said that I don't have a tooth in my head that hurts. I know have an ear infection in both ears. If you have any more advice that would be helpful please let me know. I am going to try this remedy right now. Give a little prayer. You don't know of a doctor that can repair nerve damage. I now have an implanted pain pump just to keep the use of my legs from nerve damage where the disc in my lower back went out. I have plates in my back from my neck to my tail bone. If you have a remedy for back and leg pain let me know or anyone that you may have come in contact with that has the same problem.email me please. Thank you for the information. 06/05/2009: Tavora from Brooklyn, NY replies: "Sandra - have you considered oil pulling for the sinus infection? A lot of people say ACV works. My aunt has terrible sinuses and since childhood has had to breathe thru her mouth in order to take in air. Her sinuses are so poorly congested. About three mths ago - I introduced her to oil pulling and almost like magic!....she's like a completely different woman! She can breathe through her nose!! Who knew such a simple treatment could be so effective??!

In the meantime for the nerve pain - DRINK A GALLON OF WATER A DAY! I'm not a heavy water drinker but water acts as an electrical conductor and aids greatly in smoother neural communication. I would also recommend a high quality fish oil supplement - liquid is better than gel capsule to support your brain and spinal cord......take 1 Tablespoon/day of lecithin granules (to help restore the myelin sheathing around your nerves and "pull" any toxins out of your system - since you have a lot of metals placed in you already - see Ted's response on LG)......take magnesium (eat kale, spinach or pumpkin seeds - they are HIGH in magnesium/calcium - this also helps with pain reduction and healthy nerve communication) and last - flaxseed oil - this will help in lubricating your nerve cells so you have better synaptic functioning. I have tried them all (except the granules - tooks capsules instead but am switching over) in addition to oil pulling and have had significant results in both managing and diminishing the pain/nerve shocks and pinching. Please let me know if any of this helps. If you have any questions - feel free to email me. God Bless You! :0)"

06/05/2009: Rena from Mineral Bluff, Georgia replies: "Hi Sandra from Walnut Cove,

I suffered with a sinus infection for nearly as long as you, mine was for 14 months. I tried many remedies on this site that would help, but it was always still there. Yes I would get temporary relief but the only thing that finally made it go away is when I listened to Ted from Bangkok. Take the high doses of vitamin C, it really worked to get rid of my infection.

I found that the ascorbic acid really upset my stomach at high doses, but not as long as I don't go over 4,000 MG, but 4,000 MG was not enough. So I combined it with another vitamin C called Reacta-C, and took another 4,000 MG for a total of 8,000 MG spread through out the day (I Did Not Take All At Once). I am a 48 year old woman, and weigh about 155 LBS, and this is the limit I found for me. It took me about 3 days to be able to open up and breath through the night. I continued to take this high dose until I felt the infection gone, and did the high dose for an additional 3 more days to be sure it was gone.

One of the best remedies for bone pain that I have found is cod liver oil, again in the beginning I went with high doses until I felt the pain subside, then I went at the recommended doses. To me, high doses was about 2 Tbls in the morning.

You asked for prayers, you got it, Peace, Rena."

06/07/2009: Kelly from Nashville , TN replies: "Sandra,

Many times sinus infections are the result of fungus. You can try 1 drop of lavender and 1 drop of tea tree essential oils in a mug of steaming water. Use a towel as a tent and breathe in until there is no more steam or you can no longer smell the oils. Make sure that you use 100% pure, high quality oils.

There is also an easy remedy for ear infections using garlic mullein oil. If you would like to email me I will give you the name and number of a clinical aromatherapist in Greensboro, NC that can help you with both infections. I would rather she explain the ear infection procedure as I am not as familiar with it as she is."

[YEA]  08/07/2006: Hardy from Inverness, FL writes: "Hi Everybody, my name is Hardy and i was suffering from an off and on sinus infection for about a year now! First i uses Flonase for about 6month, it helped and gave me relief but did not cure anything, and that at the price of about $90.00 a bottle! Then i went to a specialist who gave me a checkup and recommended Neil Med Sinus Rinse, also very good and helped BUT again did not cure anything! He recommended a CAT scan next and since i have to pay for it cash i waited . So far i spend about $1000.00 on my sinus problem and still have it. then i found THIS WEBSITE, and after reading all he recommendations i decided to go to the grocery store and fix my self a solution of the mentioned items. So here is what i did and it had an UNBELIVABLE POSITIVE EFFECT! at the cost of less then $1.00 !!!

1 Cup of boiled (Purified) water,
1-1/2 Tablespoons of Hydrogen Peroxide,
1-1/2 TBS Apple Cider Vinegar,
1-1/2 TBS Sea Salt,
1-1/2 TBS Baking soda

i stirred the whole thing until it was dissolved and did as somebody else on this board recommended: Head upside down with a Dripper into my nose so that gravity can do its job and it can flow into the sinus cavities, and BINGO! It stings a little but you can really feel that there is some action going on in the sinuses :) as soon as i stood up i had to all kinds of mucus running out my nose. I repeated it again before i went to bed and when i woke up this morning i was thrilled about how good i felled! Needless to say i did it again and plan on using my solution a few more days to make sure that what ever Bacteria or Fungus is in my sinuses is DEAD. This mixture works miracles and although all the ingredients have cost about $6.00 the amount needed is about $0.25 worth and not $1000.00 like i already spend. beside the financial part, this is the first thing that actually helped to cure my sinus infection. Please try it you will be VERY HAPPY you did! Hardy"

[YEA]  04/19/2009: MBW from Boston, MA replies: "I Just tried this about two hours ago, and immediately the pressure in my face and head got extremely better. My nasal passages, ears and everything else effected became around 80% better. I did it once again about 20 minutes after that and plan to do it before bed, but so far i can breath so much more easily and i'm far more comfortable than i was before i tried it. I suffer from sinus infections far too often for up to two to three weeks. I did this remedy a day or two in and it worked! It does sting/burn but only for up to 10 seconds."

[YEA]  05/21/2009: Marie from Clawson, Michigan replies: "WOW!!!! Yes it clears your sinus cavities right up. I tried it without the baking soda, not recommended. The burning was strong, I beleive the baking soda stabilizes the vinigar. BUT IT DID WORK RIGHT AWAY!! .... ;o)"

[WARNING!]  09/02/2009: Emily from Denver, Co replies: "BAD NEWS!!!! This was horrible!!! WARNING, STAY AWAY!!! I have used sea salt rinses for my sinuses many a time with my netty pot, and I love those, but I started getting a wicked sinus infection and thought I'd look up some other remedies to knock it out before it became full-blown. I had a root canal and then was in LA (all the smoke from those fires really killed me), and knew it would be a humdinger! Looking at this recipe, I thought maybe they meant teaspoons instead of tablespoons, because tablespoons seem really excessive. I'm glad I used teaspoons, because I might have passed out had I not. I followed the directions, let the mixture cool to room temperature and filled my netty pot and poured into my right nostril very slowly. Instantly I felt horrible pain in my sinuses, chest, throat and ear. I thought my ear was bleeding! I really did. I started jumping up and down and running cold water on my head because I was in so much pain. My dog and boyfriend came running to my aid, but I couldn't even find my words to tell him what was wrong. The worst part is the ear pain lasted for a full five minutes, my throat hurts worse, my ear still feels achy, and my sinuses feel just as bad as they did before!! I say stay far, far away from this deadly concoction. I'll stick to hot tea and 1c water to 1tsp sea salt in my netty pot from now on. That was the worst!"

[YEA]  04/18/2006: Deirdre from Port Chester, NY writes: "though not prone to chronic sinus infections like many others posting here, I have had a couple of doozies and know what they feel like and how bad they can get and how long they can drag on, and I know the signs of the beginning of the onslaught. Over the past weekend seasonal allergies seemed to have kicked another one into full swing, I had a headache for three days, so bad that my TEETH had started to really hurt, and the mucus coming out when I blew my nose was dark green to brown; it was NOT headed in a good direction. I sensed a trip to the doctor sometime this week (IF I could even get an appointment), and with no health insurance, that just wasn't in the budget. But I knew this wasn't going to clear up on its own, so I found this site online, decided to try something home-based to see if I could nip it in the bud, as I prefer to avoid antibiotics whenever possible. Wasn't sure about the ratios/portions in some of these listings, so here's what I tried, winging it on my own. It POSITIVELY WORKED!!! Within less than a half hour, my headache was gone, the sinus pressure was gone, I was breathing through my nose, I ended up with a good night's sleep for the first time in almost a week, and my teeth no longer hurt! The discomfort level of the solution was minimal (it is uncomfortable to put liquid up your nose, for sure, and it DOES sting/burn just a little bit), the ease of procuring the ingredients and making it was amazing!

I found I wasn't sure how much of each thing I needed, so I ended up with way too much, but here's the recipe I used, you can figure out how to scale it down:

1 cup boiling filtered water (tap water run through my Brita filter)
3 Tablespoons Natural Sea Salt
3 Tablespoons 3% solution Hydrogen Peroxide

I boiled a kettle of water to make sure I killed off anything in there that might get me a WORSE infection, poured out 1 Cup into a measuring cup, stirred in the sea salt until it dissolved, then added the Peroxide, stirred it up, let it cool down to just warm. I sterilized a child's medicine dropper (holds 1 tablespoon of liquid) with rubbing alcohol, and then used that to suck the solution up from measuring cup. I then leaned over the arm of my couch with a towel under my chin and on the floor (this IS a little messy), so that my head was hanging upside down, and then gently squirted a full dropper into each nostril, one at a time, gently shaking my head to move it around, held it as long as I could, then sat up, let it finish dripping out, and GENTLY blew my nose. My left nostril was the real culprit this time, so I did the procedure on it twice. The whole thing took less than 15 minutes to prepare, cool solution and administer, and I felt almost instant relief. Within a half hour, after GENTLY blowing my nose several times, I felt 100% better! I was still a little skeptical, but when I woke up this morning, I felt great! I don't know what it is that makes this solution work, but it does! It probably didn't hurt that I also made sure to take some vitamins, drank a half a gallon of grape juice and had chicken soup for dinner - liquids and vitamins in your system surely help your body combat something like this. It's also important to note that I was very careful to make sure that everything I used to prepare this remedy and put it into my sinus cavity was STERILIZED. The morning after I still have some slight congestion and have had to blow my nose a few times, but the mucus is almost clear, I can actually GET IT OUT, and there is no headache or toothache - AT ALL. Hope this helps someone else, I feel SO much better, and I had been looking at what I knew was another week to ten days of worse misery."

[YEA]  Penny from Fresno writes: "Clean out a medicine bottle with an eye dropper. Put one eye dropper of 3% hydrogen peroxide, one pinch salt, one pinch baking soda, and purified water. Shake well. More hydrogen peroxide can be added if a little discomfort is not felt (some is normal). Next, get down on knees putting head on floor and put a little in each nostril and keep in there awhile, making faces to move it around, move head, etc. to move it around. This has stopped a severe sinus infection I had dead in its tracks AT ONCE. I learned it online by a man who does a much more severe version of this, so you can make it stronger at will, but start weak like I mention. Just a normal medicine bottle. Never put the straight peroxide into the nose! It must be very diluted, so one eye dropper per bottle. It should sting just a little bit. Some say a TEEEEEENNY bit of cayenne in the formula works wonders too."

[YEA]  Dani from Savannah, GA writes: "I have had a sore throat due to my sinus congestion/drainage for 4 days now. I assume it is due to allergies. I never had this problem until a few years ago, and it happens several times a year. I always end up at the doctor with a sinus infection and bronchitis. I'm tired of taking antibiotics, so I found this website and thought I'd give it a try. I tried 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp baking soda, and 1 tsp hydrogen peroxide mixed in about a cup of warm water. I layed on the couch and used a bulb syringe to squirt up my nose. I won't lie-when it flushed my sinuses and ran down my throat it did burn. Immediately after, I could breathe from both nostrils. It took a few minutes to quit burning, but it works. My nose began draining lots of mucus that was trapped in my sinuses. I gargled with milk and that soothed it. I also did the gargle recommended on this site for a sore throat-10 oz warm water and 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper and drank a shot of it also. This also immediately soothed my sore throat. I'm really amazed and relieved after days of feeling terrible. This really works and I'm very grateful to everyone who posted these remedies !"

HYDROGEN PEROXIDE, SALT AND BAKING SODA

I actually feel like a person again! I can't believe this!! The last 3 months have been absolutely miserable and I have had no success what so ever getting rid of my sinus infection.Amoxocillin does nothing neither does Augmentin 850. My sinus problems started about 15 years ago when I ended up with a deviated septum as a result of years of snorting drugs and I have had major major sinus problems ever since! I am going to repeat this wonder cure a couple of times just in case. Thanks again!"

Well since nothing worked I thought I would try the opposite and got a flexible ice pack I had in the freezer. I rested it in all different places on my face and eyes. I can't believe how much better I am feeling. My swelling went down and I am breathing well too. I think my sinuses were so inflamed that the ice was just the trick I needed. I am sooo happy now."

IODINE

[YEA]  04/26/2009: Bev from Long Beach, CA writes: "Iodine for Sinus Pain:

Wonderful information on this site.

In Nov 08, I caught a cold and had terrible sinus. The cold cleared up but periodically my right sinus cavity would close and cause horrible pain. This area was on the right side of my nose about an inch down from my eye. I started using nasal irrigation and peroxide and water spray directly in my nose. This helped but I never seemed to be completely cured. The pain would start on the side of my nose, go around my eye, down my cheek to my teeth then into my neck and around the back of my neck. It rendered me useless. The addition of my favorite beverage, Chardonnay, would bring it on until I stopped having any. In searching this site, I read about Iodine (clear from Rite Aid) and painting it on certain areas of the body so I tried it on the side of my nose. I started doing this several times a day and last night was the test. I had my wine without any pain. I will continue to use Iodine until I'm sure it has cleared up. Who would have thought this would cure me. Thank you very much to everyone for your additions to this wonderful site."

LACTOSE INTOLERANCE

1 YEA

[YEA]  06/30/2008: Gloria from Toronto, Canada writes: "Sinus Infections and Ice cream: I do not know about the various brands of ice creams and their contents. However, my body is lactose intolerant and whenever I give in to consuming ice cream [of the homemade variety,no less], in a few minutes,I feel the nasal clogging. Has anyone been tested for lactose intolerance? Sugar and other foods that do not agree with my system affect my sinuses adversely."

11/05/2008: Stephen from Dallas, TX replies: "That doesn't sound like Lactose intolerance, that sounds like a milk allergy. There is a difference. I am a milk allergy sufferer and if I eat anything that contains milk, I get congested and alot of times end up with a sinus infection. Most people I know with lactose intolerance have no problems eating ice cream."

05/18/2009: Debbie from Malvik, South Trondelag, Norway replies: "I have a tendency to disagree here. Lactose could be only a part of your problem. Sounds like you have a problem with all sorts of sugar, not only milk sugar (lactose) Candida Albicans springs to mind, with all it's complications. Have the same problem myself, stuffy nose whenever I go anywhere near sugar!"

05/18/2009: PS from Atlanta, Ga replies: "Sinus congestion after dairy consumption is not too unusual. I have experienced and read about dairy and its tendency to cause sinus congestion. For this reason I do not eat dairy on a regular basis. I can definitely feel a difference after a few days of eating yogurt, milk, or cottage cheese. My sinus are full and drain down be back of my throat. I have often thought this is also why my sister is constantly blowing her nose and coughing up mucus. She drinks more than her fair share (even organic) of milk."

05/18/2009: T from Maryland, USA replies: "My son used to have chronic sinus problems. We went through the mill for several years with ignorant doctors and needless medications blindly prescribed because the fact was they hadn't a clue (they insisted he had asthma, then seasonal allergies, then sinus infection, etc. etc.). I didn't feel he had any of those; they just didn't fit. When I finally cut milk from his diet, voila! No more sinus problems. In his case it IS the dairy. Other sugars don't cause him any problems."

LIGHT BULB THERAPY

2 YEA

[YEA]  03/17/2007: Josh from Orlando, FL writes: "After reading the Lightbulb therapy and thinking it was crazy I tried everything else to get rid of my severe congestion. I finally consented and as the heat was applied to my sinuses (I guess??) the congestion cleared. My congestion has been so bad that no amount of neti pot salt water rinsing (with Peroxide or Col.Silver will even penetrate). So this was a relief and hopeful."

[YEA]  03/04/2007: Angelina from Apeldoorn, Netherlands writes: "This is a cure I got from my mom. With a lamp without a lampshade and easy to handle place a handkerchief or similar cloth over your face and use the now turned on light bulb (careful!! only adults should do this) massage your sinus areas until the heat gets too much and then wait a while and start again. Make sure you don´t go outside or catch cold or wind and do this for several days until symptoms disappear. She never had another infection again."
