[YEA]  11/16/2008: Robbin from Chesapeake, Va: "WOW This really does work. I have been sick for a week and my throat felt like there were rocks in there every time I swallowed. I tried honey and tea, Sore throat spray and cough drops, but after the first 3 sips of the ACV in warm water with honey It felt better. I'm a believer. Thanks for this valuable info."

[YEA]  11/03/2008: C from San Diego, CA: "ACV for sore throat in a 3 year old

my 3 year old (who has a cold) woke up in the middle of the night complaining of a sore throat, i immediately gave her apple cider vinegar w/ a little bit of raw honey and a couple pinches of turmeric. i gave her 3-4 teaspoons of this concoction and she said it went away and went back to sleep. when she woke this morning she said her sore throat was still gone!"

[YEA]  10/18/2008: Elizabeth from MEMPHIS, TN: "WOW! Didnt believe that ACV thing would work! Nothing personal...I'm just a cynic by experience but honestly must say that I have just finished my first round of "sipping" and the ACV and H20 for acute sore throat has already greatly relieved the pain, unclogged my ears, and I can actually feel my nasal passage opening! I've tried at least 5 different OTC products and all I felt was dehydrated and light-headed. My throat hurt so bad that everytime I coughed a it felt like a tree the size of my fist was trying to emerge from my stomach! AND NOW...100 percent improvement from even an hour ago!

I am super grateful! I may even try to eat something later!"

[YEA]  10/15/2008: Andrew from Mesquite, NV: "I had Sore throat, congestion in my nose and cough. I use to gargle with salt water for my sore throat and didn't work as well as. The last time I had sore throat, I tried HALLS cough drops and that worked really well. Now, they don't work on me anyone. I don't know why. So I tried the APPLE CIDER VINEGAR, it worked well on my sore throat and did clear my nose, but its not working on my cough as well. I hate the taste. I'm happy with the result."

[YEA]  10/09/2008: Parminder Singh from Brampton, Ontario, Canada: "Apple Cider Vinegar and Honey in water cured my sore throat instantly! I'm surprised how well it worked. I can breathe again. Thanks bunches, dudes!"

09/20/2012: Chandan from Panchkula, Haryana, India replies: "my remedy for sore throat is hot lemonade mix with honey as it relieves the pain quickly. this is an effective sore throat remedies"

[SIDE EFFECTS]  10/07/2008: Leslie from Jamestown, NC, USA: "I tried the 3 T ACV, 3 T Honey, and 8 oz warm water to cure my sore throat. This was a bad idea for me. I am pregnant, so my gag reflux is ultra sensitive. I tried drinking it first, but it really started to nauseate me, so I decided to gargle. As soon as it hit the back of my throat, I threw up."

10/30/2008: Tammy from Eugene, Oregon replies: "i am gargling/and drinking 1 teaspoon to 7 oz. ACV for sore throat by drinking it can it make your urine turn very yellow? has helped very little :("

[YEA]  10/04/2008: Jen from Vancouver, Wa: "I mixed 3 Tblspns of ACV and 3 Tblspns of Honey with 1 cup of warm water. After just few sips, I could feel the difference in my sore throat. It was completely gone by the time I had finished the entire glass."

[YEA]  10/01/2008: Julie from San Diego, CA, USA: "Wow! It works! I drank ACV last night. I used 1 cup of hot water mixed with 3 table spoons of ACV and 3 table spoons of honey. My sore throat is gone. I didn't see the revised ACV recipe (16oz water with 2 tablespoons of ACV). But I will ask my husband to try that. He has been coughing for 2 weeks. Cold medicines only helped with sinus problem but coughing is still pretty frequent."

EC: Actually, for acute conditions like coughs and sore throats, the usual dosage of ACV (2 TBS to 8 oz of water) will probably work better. The revised amount (2 TSP in 16 Oz of water) is good for daily maintenance, pH balancing and anti-aging.

[YEA]  03/14/2009: Marie from Portland, Maine replies: "OMG - I am a believer! I have had a miserable sore throat for three days! I am just now sipping for the first time, Apple Cider Vinegar (3 tsps) Honey (3tps) and warm water (8 ounces) and I am already feeling some relief! I am also starting to sweat a little. I'm so glad I found this site!"

[YEA]  09/25/2008: Erica R from Miami, Florida: "Apple Cider Vinegar cured my Sore Throat in a day. I gargled Apple Cider Vinegar about 6 times a day, and also drank 3 tablespoons of it in water twice a day. It really does work. I wasn't sure it was going to work, but decided to give it a try. My sore throat was much better each time I took it, and gone the next day!
Highly recommended!"

[YEA]  09/21/2008: Roger from Warrenton, Virginia: "I have had a sore throat on and off for 2 weeks. I got the usual for my doctor, antibiotic and decongestant. Three days ago I was back in as it had come back worse than before. All he did was change the antibiotic and told me to continue to use a salt water gargle. I have hardly slept since as my throat was so sore even to swallow. I happened to come across this web site early this morning and tried the ACV and honey in warm water treatment.
It worked GREAT! I used 3TBS of ACV and 3TBS of organic honey in exactly 1 cup warm water. I was nervous at first as I have GERD and IBS but it went down with no problem. My proof is in my current condition: throat pain is virtually gone and I have coughed up more crud than in the past week of taking muciinexD!!!!"

[YEA]  09/16/2008: Benita from Atlanta, GEORGIA: "I had a very severe sore throat. I tried the ACV with honey & garlic and it helped a great deal. I added lemon juice to the mixture for good measure. Also when, I had "the runs", I used Tumeric and it was almost working immediately. So this is a YEA for home remedies."

[YEA]  09/14/2008: Rachel from Boston, Massachusetts: "I tried the 3tbs ACV and 3 tbs honey in a mug of warm water, and let me tell you, I almost threw-up the mixture, but once I had downed it all, my throat felt 100 times better, Thanks!"

[YEA]  09/10/2008: Beki from Norman, Oklahoma: "I love eating spinach and vinegar anyway so when I saw it was a cure for my sore throat I was thrilled and it worked. Thanks so much."

[YEA]  09/04/2008: Lucy from Exshaw, Canada: "I've had a sore throat for a couple days now. It was so bad that I couldn't eat sleep or swallow comfortably. I took today off work in hope of getting better for a planned weekend hiking in the Assiniboine area. I really didn't want to cancel the trip so I looked for remedies on the net. I found this site and gave the ACV a shot. I've just drank a mug of the stuff and it is noticeably better. I think I might be in good shape for tomorrow! Thanks for all the comments!"

[NAY]  08/25/2008: Lacey from Willoughby, Ohio: "i tried the 8 ounces warmed over pickle juice. couldn't even make it through the whole glass, i drank about 4 ounces. i waited about 10 minutes, nothing, still sore. so i moved on to the 3 tbs of acv and 3 tbs of honey in hot water. i drank 8 ounces of that stuff. let me tell ya. there is no getting over the taste, i had to choke it down... it didn't cure my sore throat it only made my belly hurt!"

08/25/2008: Joyce from Joelton, Tn replies: "The best way to use ACV/honey 50/50 is to just swallow l/2 to l tsp very slowly every l hour or so. Another thing I use early on for sore throat is listerine or other mouth wash and hydrogen peroxide 50/50 gargle every hour from early onset of initial soreness."
