I have used the mushroom chaga on my cat who was full of cancer and it worked. The belly of my cat was full of lesions and had no fur left on her belly. She was very thin and looked as if she was just days away form deaths door. I bought a can of fish and started mixing powered almond seed into the fish, and fed it to the cat everyday. Within a month the lesions were gone and her fur was starting to fill on her belly. She is completely healed now and back to full health.

Colloidal copper and pure aspirin, cured my dog's cancer. 3 different vets said he would die anywhere from 3 days to 3 months and wanted to do chemo on him and of course charge me a lot of money to kill him with it. So instead I used colloidal copper and pure aspirin, in days he picked up and in a few weeks was playing like a puppy, he is 11 or 12 years old and never wanted to play before.

Hi, can you please give us more information about this cure that you used for cancer? How much colloidal copper and aspirin did you use, did grind the aspirin and add it to cc? How often did you give it? How long has it been since you started this protocol? Thank you in advance.

You can make colloidal copper 2 ways, one the same as colloidal silver, or put pure copper wire in glass pot of distiled water and a pinch of citric acid, simmer 6 hours and use a parts per million tester that I bought at home depo. buy pure aspirin at health food store or animal feed store, it has no cemicols in it like the aspirin you buy at the grocery stores. I than took a gallon of distilled water added about an ounce to get about 10 parts per million. than I put it in the dogs dish and he drank it when he was thirsty, abot 2 weeks of doing this and now he plays like a puppy. Best is go to and where I got it from, u tube, Power of colloidal copper, by Tony Pantalleresco, he has the best cures of anyone I have found.

Did you make your own colloidal copper and aspirin mixture? Did you feed it to the dog or apply it externally? Please give more details. How long had the dog been sick?

An update on curing my dog's cancer, 3 vets said he would be dead in 3 days to 3 months, it has been over 3 months now and he is just fine.

I just used colloidal copper and pure asperin that I got from an animal feed store. Within only 2 weeks he was playing again like a puppy, he is 12 years old. The vet wanted to use chemo but I am not stupid, I know chemo kills more than it helps, natural cures work better.

I must share my experience with using colloidal silver for curing cancer.

My 16 year old dog, Flower, developed a bump on the back of her leg right above her paw. I watched it closely and over the last month it started to change, partly because it started to irritate her and she had been licking it. First, the fur came off, revealing a pink lump. Then the lump started to change. It quickly grew to twice its size and turned different colors, black, yellow and purple, and was developing a few new small bumps at the base of the original one.

So for the last 2 weeks I have been treating her with a high dose of colloidal silver, both orally on an empty stomach 3 to 4 times a day and spraying the area with colloidal silver every chance I could get (she'd see me coming with the spray bottle and would run away). Orally I gave her a tablespoon each time. Of course, the lump grew even larger and uglier with this attack. It even grew tentacle-like things out of the top. It looked very scary.

Anyway, long story short, it finally started to shrink and turned more black on top with the base being bright red. Yesterday, it was pretty shrivelled up and was just dangling by a small piece still attached, and this morning it has fallen off! The skin underneath is bright red and bleeding, but I consider that a good sign as the blood with help filter any remaining toxins from the site.

I will continue giving her silver orally every day and spraying the area with silver until it has totally healed, and maybe for a month or so after that.

Hi Bee,

I started out giving Flower a 15 ppm solution which was manufactured and sold by a local health food store and when I ran out of that, I started giving her a 10 ppm solution called Silver Sol by NOW Foods. That is also what is in the spray bottle. Just as an update, last night I had to bandage the site as it was still bleeding quite a bit. Looking at it this morning, some more tissue has sloughed off and the flesh is a bright healthy pink and smooth and clean. She is pretty low key today, but has been sleeping comfortably. She did accept some bone broth when offered. I hope that is helpful.

Sorry Nicole, for not responding sooner, but I do not have internet at home and due to the COVID restrictions have not been getting out and about. Anyway, to answer your question about dosage, Flower weighs about 70 lbs and I gave her 1 tablespoon 3 to 4 times a day orally and sprayed the lump with silver every chance I could. It took a few weeks before I saw any changes, and the lump got worse before it got better, but do not lose hope. Colloidal silver is very powerful and will help cure a lot of ailments. I am currently using it along with ACV to treat a rash of candida and it is doing wonders. I also have a very good friend whose naturopath prescribed colloidal silver 800 ppm (yes, that is correct, 800 ppm) to treat a bone marrow infection. You just have to keep it up until all signs and symptoms are gone. I hope that is helpful. Flower's Mom

Hi Nancy,

In all the years I have been reading about cancer and treatments... I'm not a vet or anything but what I learned is Cancer is good cells gone bad. These bad cells can be reversed. The vet will always recommend something that makes them money. But when they do surgery there's no turning back. When there are cancer cells present while they are cutting human or animal they can't tell if they cut one of those cells open. If (there's no if) that happens it spreads 10 MILLION more cells. When they tell humans after cancer surgery "it looks like we got it all". That's BS and the patient will soon find out they have cancer through out their body. Radiation and Chemo is devised to kill. Do not fall for the pressure the doc/vets are trained to scare you into doing more damage. CBD oil for pets while you research natural remedies. There's a book called The Natural Cat that has diets and remedies. Diet is so important. DO NOT vaccinate your pets. Animals did not used to have the problems that they do today. Most of which is caused by vaxes and store bought pet food. SMALLS is where I buy food for my cats online. One last thing touching, petting ect is vital when you do feel the love for the pet they get so much from that.

DMSO and Colloidal Silver

Update on my dog with a cancerous anal gland tumor, diagnosed in early August 2021.

I tried a number of different protocols, as detailed in this thread:

https://answers.earthclinic.com/anal-sac-tumor.html

None of them seemed to be helping. THEN I started doing DMSO and organic and raw (Bragg) apple cider vinegar topically dropped in near his bladder because he seemed to be having issues there and he looked remarkably better a few minutes later with increased energy. The amazing Art from CA recommended I try DMSO with Colloidal Silver.

Here is what Art wrote - incredibly helpful!!

"On the alternative cancer sites and in science, DMSO is itself known to have anticarcinogenic effects and in some cases has shown the ability to revert cancerous cells back to normal cells. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/labs/pmc/articles/PMC3328470/

Here is a quote from the review :

'Our results suggest that DMSO may be an important stimulator of the tumor suppressor protein HLJ1 through AP-1 activation in highly invasive lung adenocarcinoma cells. Targeted induction of HLJ1 represents a promising approach for cancer therapy, which also implied that DMSO may serve as a potential lead compound or coordinated ligand for the development of novel anticancer drugs. '

... The effective DMSO dosing is in the 5 to 6% area at direct contact with a cancer cell, so you will have to dilute it with something and CS seems good because of its known anticancer effects by itself. You could see if he can tolerate 50% DMSO with 50% CS. If he doesn't tolerate that ratio, try 40% DMSO with 60% CS. I think when you go below 40%, DMSO is not nearly as effective as a transdermal penetration enhancer, but I would consider further reductions to reach tolerance by him.

So after Art sent me that, I began the DMSO and Colloidal Silver starting with 1 droppersful of each mixed together once a day. I am up to 3 droppersful at the moment with a day off once or twice a week.

I use a dropper and drop the solution right where the lump is on his bum and the rest of it on his stomach where there isn't much fur.

This is the remedy combo where we've been making progress. His appetite returned in full force after two weeks on the protocol and he started gobbling down his freeze-dried raw food, which he refused to eat starting in October.

Now he seems to be doing quite well for an old dog with a tumor. The freeze dried raw is so much better than the kibble he was eating, which made him terribly thirsty.

Also, I put removable sticky paw pads on him to help him walk as even the carpet is slippery at this point. Those pads have helped him tremendously. Here are the pads on Amazon if anyone is interested.

One thing I realized recently is that I don't think people really understand how much assistance dogs need when they get older. Because they become increasingly unsteady on all fours, they have a harder time drinking water. I suspect some get very dehydrated and the owners might not realize it and think their dog is ready to be put down when, in fact, they just can't drink enough water on their own anymore. Just my two cents caring for two big elderly dogs! I make sure my dog gets plenty of water throughout the day and I also keep a belly support under him while he drinks so he doesn't lose his balance. I've seen him just give up on the water because he can't hold himself steady if I don't help him.

I think my vet would be surprised that he's made it this long after diagnosis at his advanced age. Of all the protocols I have tried for my two dogs since the summer, the DMSO and Colloidal Silver have been the most effective, with no side effects other than slightly increased thirst a short while after applying the DMSO/CS. Sorry I didn't know about this for my other dog's shoulder tumor but it may have been too late for her anyway.

Thank you so much, Art!!!! APPRECIATE YOU!

First, I wish to thank each person who has had success with Essiac Tea and reported it here on Earth Clinic. I say that because my little Honey Bee, part Chihuahua, was diagnosed with a malignant mast cell tumor on her left thigh over a month ago. The vet wanted to operate, but said she'd prefer that I take her to the vet school because some of the tumor is inside her thigh muscle. I called the school, and they said they were booked out two months on such surgeries. That's when I turned to Earth Clinic and read about several remedies for cancer.

I decided on Essiac Tea and chaga mushroom. I started her right away and also added something I take to boost my immune system called Epicor. Epicor is fermented brewer's yeast (which sounds weird since I would think all brewer's yeast ends up fermented, doesn't it? :-) I think there is a little more to it, but anyway, it really works! I used to get colds and flus like clockwork every year, about three times and some would last for weeks. I hated being sick and dragging around, which is why I finally discovered Epicor. I have not had one bout of a cold or flu in six or seven years! Yay!! So, I decided if it works by boosting the immune system, why not add it to the mix.

Then, today, I decided to see what I could learn about Essiac and ended up on Wikipedia where, to my alarm, whoever submitted the information Wikipedia has on Essiac Tea couldn't find one good thing to say about it! I could feel myself getting uptight and also confused since I have been pleased with what I am seeing on Honey Bee's leg. I swear it sure looks like the "lump" is smaller and, when I palpate it, I can't even find anything that feels like a lump. It's like the skin was stretched and is sagging a little but there's nothing in there! In addition, Honey Bee has never felt so good! She's running around all happy and just as feisty as ever when another dog has the gall to jump up on "her" couch! But, still, I was really getting worried reading that jive so I came right over to EC and, ahhhh!, here are these wonderful testimonies to the ability of Essiac Tea to reduce or even eliminate cancer!

I just needed to read them again. I plan to take Honey Bee back to my vet at the two month mark and have an x-ray so we can do a legitimate comparison. In the meantime, thank you, thank you for your stories of success with Essiac. I believe them! As for the amounts I am using, I have the Essiac capsules from Canada and I've been giving her, she's about sixteen pounds, half a capsule in the morning and the other half in the evening. I'm giving close to a quarter teaspoon of chaga mushroom a.m. and p.m. and half of a 500 mg capsule of Epicor in the a.m., the rest of the capsule in the p.m.

HOMER'S OSTEOSARCOMA SUCCESS STORY

Osteosarcoma is a terrible diagnosis to hear. Last May, 2017, moms little dog, Homer, developed a limp in his back leg. She took him to the vet and when my mom called me crying, I knew it wasn't good. It was osteosarcoma and Homer only had three months to live!

I reminded her of the essiac tea I had given to my dad when he had cancer. I told her it could be used on pets. And since he also had a limp, I told her that golden paste could help with the inflammation. She really didn't want to have his leg amputated or have chemo. She wanted the time Homer had left to be happy, not sick. So, she decided to try the tea.We made the tea and about a week after his diagnosis he started it and the golden paste.

Since Homer weighs 20 pounds, his dosage is 5 mL (1 teaspoon), once per day. His dosage of golden paste was 1/4 teaspoon, twice per day.

Three weeks later, Homer had his first recheck appointment at the vet. The vet did X-rays and was surprised to discover his cancer was slightly "smaller and smoother". He said he had expected it to be twice the size it was, because osteosarcoma is so aggressive. He also noticed Homer's limp was nearly nonexistent. He told mom to keep doing what she's doing and come back in two months for another recheck.Six weeks after starting the tea and golden paste, mom decided to stop giving him the golden paste simply because he's a VERY picky eater and she got tired of forcing him to eat it. Plus, his limp was virtually gone by this point. She did, however, continue the essiac tea daily. At Homers next appointment, three months after his diagnosis, another set of X-rays were done. This time they showed the cancer was less than half the size it was from the previous visit! And, his limp had completely gone away! The vet was absolutely shocked! It was particularly surprising because, by this point, Homer was suppose to be gone!

Today, it's the end of January, nearly ten months since Homer's diagnosis, and he's doing great! He has no limp whatsoever! You would never know he had been sick. He's not been back to the vet because..he hasn't needed to! It's a REAL success story!

HOW TO GIVE THE TEA

My mother has done no other changes or treatments except for adding the golden paste twice daily for six weeks and essiac tea. She gives Homer the tea every day. She will use a small spoonful of high quality canned food or bone broth and mix the tea with this in order to have something appetizing to entice him to drink the tea. This works very well and she's never had a problem getting him to lap it up. She does it just before feeding him, though, ideally it would be given an hour away from a meal.

WHERE TO GET THE TEA

Moms tea herbs come from Blue Moon Herbs Rene Caisse Tea. She orders the 15% 4-herb tea blend, because, at the time, they were out of the 25% blend. She uses Blue Moon Herbs because they include the sheep sorrel roots in their mixture, which is essential, and they grow their own organic herbs. There are other reputable companies but be sure to confirm they include the roots of the sheep sorrel plant and not just the top. I would also look for a company who grows their own herbs and is organic.

HOW TO STORE THE TEA

The brewed tea should be stored in an amber glass bottle or jar. If a clear jar is all you have, simply cover the jar with a brown paper bag or foil to keep the light out. Once made, the tea must be kept refrigerated.

HOW LONG DOES THE TEA LAST

Once brewed, bottled and opened, it lasts 3 weeks in the refrigerator. I find it easiest to brew enough tea for six weeks and bottle it in two bottles. This way you can use one bottle for three weeks, leaving the second bottle sealed. As long as one bottle is left sealed, it will be safe for longer than three weeks. So by bottling the tea in two bottles, it gives you a six week supply.

WHAT IS THE DOSAGE FOR MY DOG

I can only give you the dosage for Blue Moon Herbs because that is who we've used to buy the tea herbs.

This is their dosage chart for dogs:

5-10 lbs = 1-2 mL

10-20 lbs = 2-4 mL

25-40 lbs = 5-8 mL

40-50 lbs = 8-10 mL

50-75 lbs = 10-15 mL

75-100 lbs = 15-20 mL

100 + lbs = 20-30 mL

Important Note: Essiac Tea dosing - The MAXimum daily dose is 4 ounces, which is double to quadruple dosing of the standard 1-2 oz and should not be exceeded. Please note that 6 oz is not recommended even for short periods.

Dosing: 1 - 2 oz. per day, all at once or in two divided half-doses. You can take up to 4 oz. per day, for short periods (as necessary).

Taking 2 fl. oz. per day for six days per week should amount to enough for one quart to last for a total of 18 days. 8 x 18 days = at least 20 weeks. If taking less than 2 oz. per day, it is recommended that you use 16 oz. (pint) bottles or jars, so the +- three week shelf life window is not passed.

*When taking large doses of 4 ounces, it is probably best take this high dose for one week (six days on and one day off), then back to 3 weeks at 2 ounces per day, cycling a three week standard 1-2 oz dose with a one week 4 oz. high dosing each month.

My 15 years old cat has an abdominal tumor. Vet thinks it's a fibrosarcoma. I noticed it at the end of 2016., and she did Ultrasound and x-ray and the vet said it's not operable because half of it it's in abdominal cavitiy, half on the outside.

On 21st of January I started giving her ESSIAC TEA, so it is now 2 months. She seems ok, eating, playing etc., but the thing is getting bigger and bgiger. I read here that the tumors get biger before they fade, but I'm wondering in what period? Because for now it's just growing. And she vomits every morning around 5:00 am. Had some kidney failure 6 months ago and we have them under control with Reishi mushroom.

I'M ASKING ALL OF YOU THAT HAD SIMILAR SITUATIONS TO GIVE ME ADVICE ON ESSIAC, OR SOME OTHER REMEDIES. IN WHICH PERIOD DID YOUR PET TUMORS GOT SMALLER AFTER USING ESSIAC. Please help!!!!!

I know this is late in coming, but I wanted to weigh in on both the Essiac Tea & the shark cartilage.

My 16-yr-old Himalayan (cat) was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma - he had a tumor in his mouth. My vet said it was always fatal, & gave him 6 wks to 6 mos. to live. I was devastated.

I looked into natural rememdies & saw that many holistic vets recommended Essiac Tea, with which I was totally unfamiliar. I bought a bottle of a brand containing 8 herbs - the 4 in the original Essiac formula, plus 4 more. I also put him on shark cartilage.

The mouth tumor immediately started shrinking. I'm convinced it was the combination of the Essiac Tea & the shark cartilage. They both seemed to contribute. And it was 100% safe for him.

Long story short, he lived to be just a little over 19 yrs. old - quite a stretch from the 6 wks to 6 mos. our vet had originally given him!

The Essiac I bought was a bottled liquid called FlorEssence. As I said, it had the original 4 herbs in Essiac Tea, plus 4 more. The FlorEssence brand worked very well.

You can also get it in tea bags & brew your own, but I don't know how well that works.

I was buying shark cartilage powder, but then no one carried it any more, so I just had to buy it in capsules & dump them out into his baby food. The capsules weren't as good, because they didn't want to mix with the baby food the way the regular powder had.

The Essiac - we gave him in a syringe, about a half hour before his meal. We did this twice a day. For the last 3 years of his life, all he ate was Gerber's baby food meat. We'd mix the shark cartilage into it.

As to dosages, I can't really remember how much I gave him of what. He got other medicines, too, but he had several health conditions.

Hope this is helpful to somebody. I hate that there is something good out there, and no vet or people doctor would dream of recommending it. It's just a shame.

Good luck, all!

I took my cat to the Vet about seven months ago and they removed a large mass. She had a very aggressive cancer. Unfortunately, it came back. I really cannot afford to slam down nearly a thousand dollars for another surgery or chemo which is more expensive.

I began giving my cat the 8 herb Essaic tea remedy. After four months most of the cancer was liquefied, but as it began to drain I was worried about infection. I put a saline compress on the open area. One teaspoon salt and one cup of warm water. Now I have begun giving my cat turmeric milk. One sixteen teaspoon of turmeric with one fourth cup of milk or half and half and a sprinkle of black pepper (helps with absorption). She seems better today. The fluid pouch is down, but her appetite is still bad.

Our cat, Jacob, was diagnosed with osteocarcoma (bone cancer) in 2000, and was given 3 months to live. We were told the cancer would metasticize and spread to his lungs very quickly, as this was the most aggressive kind of cancer. We started giving him Essiac tea, one teaspoonful in his wet food twice a day, and the cancer did not metasticize. Jacob in fact lived a happy life until November 2005, when he passed from cardiac arrest at age 15. I have always wanted to share this information, but until I found Earth Clinic, I was never sure how to get the message out there! This is an amazing resource tool - thank you for being there!

Cancer and Essiac Tea and FOCC (Flaxseed Oil and Cottage Cheese):

My boxer pit bull mix was diagnosed with osteosarcoma of his right shoulder last September. This is extremely metastastic and spreads to the lungs quickly, and in 95% of the cases, by the time of diagnosis it is already in the lungs. I initially did not amputate because he was 12-1/2 years and the vet said the prognosis was so poor. I immediately started him on 1 cup total a day of essiac tea (made by Resperin company, as research on internet said you should buy from the original company) and 1 cup total of cottage cheese a day mixed with 4 - 6 tbsp of fresh cold flaxseed oil a day, divided in 2 doses. He was still alive 5 months later which is almost impossible, but the bone tumor did not disappear and was causing him pain. I decided to amputate but docs wanted x-rays first to see if his lungs were full of cancer. There was NONE. He is a 3 legged, cancer free 13 year old happy dog today. The vets can't even explain it, and will not acknowledge it had anything to do with holistic treatments, only to say it is a fluke that it did not spread. They said he will at this point die of some other old age related dog disorder. :)

Over 3 years ago, our cat, Flora, developed a mass (tumour) in her abdomen and lost a significant amount of weight. She was about 12 years old at the time. I started giving her a dropper of concentrated essiac tea once a day and mixing about 1/2 teaspoon of the powdered herbs in her food. The tumor went away and she put weight back on. She is now 15 years old and doesn't look or act like a 15 year old cat. I've continued to give her the dropper of concentrate at least once a week up to every other day. I've also given the powdered essiac herbs to our dog for allergy eye drainage that would easily get infected. Since we started the dog on this, her allergy eye problem has been gone for over a year now. Again, about 1/2 tsp once a day.

I understand this is much later then the posting, however, I wanted to note to verify that the sheep sorrel used has the root included in the mix. Most mixes will state if a root is included and in many of them the root is not stated for sheep sorrel. The roots are the important part of the plant.

Hi Nicole,

I have been treating my 9yr old dog with it, about 5oz. a day along with Avemar 1 pck a day, and 6 caps of Transfer Factor Plus. My pup is 9yr old male bull mastiff weighing 185lbs. We did not go thru a bone marrow test so don't know for sure, but they said its either Leukemia or Lymphoma. He is doing ok for now but his lymph nodes are still enlarged. He has been on it for about 5 weeks now. I have been hoping for better but if I can help him kick it, I am in it for the long haul no matter what.

As for your cat, I think if you search around either further up or on this site, I saw at least one person that was giving some via a dropper bottle and it worked for them. Also another that was mixing a small amount of the dry herbs and I think that also worked. I never heard of doing it that way. I know some people keep the sludge and use that to mix in with the food. Good luck with your kitty!

I cooked brown rice, green beans and fresh white fish every day. All was low salt. He ate 6 very small meals instead of one as most dogs eat. I also added Milk Thistle and SAM-E200 from GNC. He took Urdosal (Spelling??) for the gallbladder. This was the only prescription he took. I kept a Scottie alive 10 months longer than the vet ever thought possible. He had liver cancer. His stomach stopped swelling after he ate when he was put on this diet. This lowered his pain. He was still interested in the girl dog next door just 1 day before he passed away. He died with dignity.
