[YEA]  11/17/2007: Martín from Bilbao, Spain writes: "My name is Martin, write from Bilbao, Spain (Europe). Many thanks Earth Clinic and Ted by your valuable activity about spread folk remedies and contribute to wellfare of the persones and the living being. Shorry but my english is no very good. In spanish language almost no spread these informations about ACV and H2O2. For me, the Apple Cider Vinegar is wonderfull by its capacity for detoxification and antiseptic cuality. The correct use amount of Hidrogen Peroxide (food grade H2O2) may be a fine complement by its hability to revitalize the body increasing oxigen on cells. There are experiencies in the folk remedies area for the combination of ACV and H2O2? I know what on the metabolic terapy area, some doctors are using chelation therapy with intravenous EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) on cleaning the body of harmful chemical substances, intravenous hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is used in combination with the chelation "quelox" to increase their effectiveness. These treatments are radicals and no exempts risks, demand make its under medical control. Though more cheaps than conventional medicine treatments, continue still enough expensive for many people. Thanks. Bless for you. Mart"

10/05/2007: L from Delta, Colorado writes: "I'm still skeptical about using over the counter hydrogen peroxide for internal use. I read the label and it did say distilled water but it also said this contains stabilizers do not ingest. I've read on the site that many people are using the stuff anyway. I can't find 35% food grade around here. I have my daughter rinsing with peroxide and her gums are looking so much better, less redness. Do most of you all really use the walmart brand of hydrogen peroxide with no problems and if so how long have you used it? I'm talking about inhaling it and also using the drops in water."

12/02/2009: David from Akron, Ohio-usa replies: "L from colorado. The only place you are going to find 35% food grade Hydrgen peroxide is in a health store or on the web. You will not find it at walmart, or in any drug store. I found 35% in 3 health stores here in Ohio and it was like $16.00 for a quart. I looked everywere and that is were i found it. so good luck."

I want to "graduate" to drinking it, but don't know how much is safe, or how often I should drink it. I use the 8% food grade, diluted to 3%. Thanks!"

[YEA]  06/17/2007: Sandra from Ventura, CA writes: "I noticed that the hydrogen peroxide that I used to buy in the supermarket used to use ionized water, which tested ph 7.0.. Now it only has purified water which does not test alkaline, so I add a pinch of baking soda to make it ph 7.0. I don't know why they stopped using ionized water and replaced it with purified water. I use it for everything internal and external. I love the way my teeth feel after brushing with hydrogen peroxide. Good breath freshener."

I just started it, so I don't know if it will help or not, but I thought I would write this."

11/18/2006: Daniel from Rocky River writes: "I thought you would be VERY interested in the link below. A company in my area, Steris (A world leader in fighting infection and contamination.), is using Hydrogen Peroxide to sterilize hospitals, emergency rooms, emergency response vehicles, etc.. I saw a demonstration of the unit to sterilize emergency vehicles. they close up the unit tight, all doors and windows. They then pump a dry vapor form of hydrogen peroxide through the vehicle. After, they simply open the vehicle , and let out the vapor. Done. I asked why they weren't using regular hydrogen peroxide. I was told it could corrode medical devices, and electrical connections. Thought it would greatly interest you guys. http://www.steris.com"

08/22/0007: Solunas from Western, MA writes: "This article indicates that hydrogen peroxide increases in the early stages of disease which would seem to verify that H2O2 is a major if not THE major defense system in the body. Hydrogen peroxide may be disease indicator ATLANTA, Aug. 21 (UPI) -- U.S. scientists have, for the first time, imaged hydrogen peroxide in animals as an early indicator of disease. http://www.sciencedaily.com..."

Ted from Bangkok, Thailand replies: "People would really get confused in some cases on various articles saying whether H2O2 is good or bad, or acidity is good or bad.

It the same thing with apple cider vinegar thing where the alkalinity increases before the body gets sick. However, some people interpret this to mean that the body "likes acidity" not alkalinity. The truth actually unfolds that bacteria, viruses, and fungus persists whenever pH are more acid than healthy cells where the pH is below 7 while the healthy cells persists in 7.3 - 7.5.

It is the same with the story of Hydrogen peroxide, bacteria, fungus and viruses that is bubbled or stored in milk box containers, where THEY DON'T SPOIL and can be kept almost indefinitely whenever a low concentration of H2O2 is stored in foods. White blood cells uses H2O2 as a defense system, and I have time and time again managed to avoid fever by taking either H2O2 drops or aspirin. Few would really know that aspirin dissolved in a glass of water or 1/2 glass of water, where a low concentration of acetyl salicylic acid (chemical name of aspirin) actually dissolves the virus, pneumonia virus, viral cancer, tiny mycoplasma, infinitely many more easily than LARGER HEALTHY cells. The reason I know this was during my free time in laboratory class in microbiology that I get a chance to play with all those ideas when I was a college students - which obviously wasn't helpful in getting good grades, but it did help save my own health several times on that account alone. It would seem that acetyl salicylic acid works best in a buffered alkaline solution which would discourage such microbial growth, while the antioxidant activities of vitamin C for example were found to be helpful biochemically against such viral growth in itself.

For me the basis of microbiology principles are simple and straightforward but they make it unnecessarily complicated by also implying that an increase in white blood cells accompanies a major diseases. When in fact white blood cells are the body's major defense system and such defense system were not strong enough in a person whose immune system are already weakened. The same might also be said about alkalinity and peroxide.

It is my personal feelings that some of academic institutions are putting out misinformation so the public can be overdependent on the conventional medicine dogma."

GENITAL HERPES

3 YEA

[YEA]  09/13/2009: Ali from Jacksonville, Fl writes: "Adding diluted Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide to a pitcher of ice tea has been a God Send. I was devasted when I tested positive about 7 yrs. ago. I never had a severe case and outbreaks were pretty infrequent but it was more the embarrassment than the discomfort that lead me to find a solution. The lysine did not work at all for me. But to my utter amazement and relief the FGHP did! It has been about 3 years since I started adding it and I have not had an "occurrence" since...not one full blown outbreak!!! Although I have felt like it was going to happen due to fatigue or sore legs or a pain in my stomach but then I would make an effort to ingest more of the FDHP than normal which seemed to stop the potential onset in its tracks. Please try this and be careful...read the directions and dilute properly. All I can say is it REALLY worked. I think I might get tested during my next wellness visit to see if it's gone....fingers crossed!"

[YEA]  07/19/2008: Joanne from Taos, New Mexico writes: "I suffered greatly from genital herpes on a regular basis until I tried hydrogen peroxide. I was in the painful blister stage when I first tried it, and applied H2O2 with a cotton ball to the area, almost "scubbing" the blisters down because they were so painful and the area was so itchy. Miracle of miracles--it relieved the pain and itch almost immediately, and the next day the problem was reduced by 95%.

Now if I have an outbreak I usually ignore it until it gets uncomfortable, then apply the H202. It seems to be most effective when blisters have formed or are at least beginning, but I have also found I could prevent it from reaching that point by applying earlier.

Knowing that it is easy to fix once it gets worse, I usually can't be bothered to get out the hydrogen peroxide until it gets annoying. I don't pass on the chocolate or other foods that cause breakouts either anymore. I hope you will try it and that it will be a miracle for you as it has been for me."

GINGIVITIS

4 YEA

[YEA]  07/17/2009: Victoria from San Diego, CA writes: "H202 cured my Periodontal Disease

After finding this site I started using the remedies on some of my health issues. I started rinsing and swishing with hydrogen peroxide daily. At first I wasn't used to the froth and the after-smell (for lack of a better term) so I took a capful. After I got used to it, and perhaps some of the resident bacteria was diminished, I started taking a full swig. I found this to be better because it didn't foam up as fast and got more parts of my mouth.

Well, my teeth began turning white and when I went to the dentist recently he was shocked to see my condition of periodontal diseased gums completely reversed. He asked what I had been doing and if I had been flossing more and I told him I wasn't flossing at all but was rinsing with H202. He said he knew about it but didn't recommend it to patients as it kills the friendly bacteria. However, he seemed very pleased with my results and said I was 100% improved and though the tiny loss of gums I had suffered wouldn't grow back, everything else was reversed. I'm definately not worried about losing some friendly bacteria in my mouth for its far worse to have enemy bacteria eating your teeth, gums and causing havoc. Besides, I've been drinking Kombucha 3 x daily which is supposed to supply loads of probiotics.

This turnaround in my mouth is truly amazing because I have struggled with this problem for 15 years and I was able to get it in a mild state, but never get rid of it. I am very happy to report my success with h2o2 and the awesome additional benefit of whitening my teeth without expensive whitening systems."

[YEA]  01/14/2007: Lucy from Racine, WI writes: "Thanks so much for the suggestions. Me and my husband use 3% h2o2in the ear whenever we feel the onset of a cold or flu. We have not had a cold in two years since using this method. Before my husband would get a flu that would keep him from work for 2-3 days in a week but no more. I had intestinal issues (loose stools). Went to Dr. diagnosed with IBS. Next went to homeopath. took saliva test, had sensitivity to wheat change eating habits improved but still loose stools frequently. This transpired over a year. After finding this site and reading about h2o2 had the courage to try h20s internally. I started with 5 drops in distilled water, the goal was three times a day I usually hit twice a day. By the tenth day my stools were consistently solid and well formed. It has now been over a month since the big improvement for me. Even when I eat wheat I do not get bloated or have the loose stools hardly ever. I still try to stay away from a lot of wheat but I now am the proud producer of solid log like stools!"

[YEA]  11/27/2006: Samuel from Florissant, MO writes: "I have used hydrogen peroxide for more than 40 years. My first encounter was from my dentist. I had the trench mouth and he told me to gargle with hydrogen peroxide. I have been using ever since. I would really like more information on hydrogen peroxide uses."

EC: Trench mouth is a painful form of gingivitis. The term "trench mouth" comes from WWI, when painful bacterial infection and ulceration of the gums was common among soldiers.

GUM SENSITIVITY

[YEA]  03/04/2007: Karen from Iselin, NJ writes: "I started rinsing my mouth with hydrogen peroxide 3% and noticed a difference within a couple of days!! I don't know if it stopped the gums from receding but it sure took the sensitivity away. I would definitely recommend trying. I rinse a small amount twice then rinse with water once a day. I don't even do it everyday and I haven't had any pain"

[YEA]  11/06/2008: Sylvia from Ozark, Missouri, USA replies: "I just found this site and read this reply and wanted to add that I use the peroxide to brush my teeth. First I wash out my mouth with the peroxide, then spit the peroxide on my brush and then brush away. I make sure I don't swallow any. Sometime I will do the same thing with the mouthwash that is supposed to stop plaque build up and then use the peroxide again."

H202 SIDE EFFECTS

[SIDE EFFECTS]  01/15/2010: Phoenix75 from Carmel, Ca, U.s.a. writes: "I have been ingesting the 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide, diluted to a 3% solution...I am currently taking 1oz in 5ozs of water, 3xs daily, for a week and then I increase...however during the course of this protocol I have noticed that it is exacerbating my immune system conditions...also, when checking my urine ph levels, I was already acidic, but it seems to have made it worse for me. I am at a 5.5 when taking it...can anyone suggest why this is the case and what I can do to make myself more alkaline? Would a combination of baking soda, or apple cider vinegar do the trick?"

[WARNING!]  01/09/2010: Phoenix75 from Carmel, Ca, U.S.A. writes: "I tried the popular internet dosing routine for the diluted 35% food grade Hydrogen Peroxide protocol, about ten days ago. The protocol that I attempted was as follows:

Day 1: 3 drops, 3xs a day
Day 2: 4 drops, 3xs a day
Day 3: 5 drops, 3xs a day
Day 4: 6 drops, 3xs a day
Day 5: 7 drops, 3xs a day
Day 6: 8 drops, 3xs a day
Day 7: 9 drops, 3xs a day
Day 8: 10 drops, 3xs a day
Day 9: 12 drops, 3xs a day
Day 10: 14 drops, 3xs a day
etc.etc. up to 25 drops, 3xs a day.

I was only able to complete this protocol for at least ten days.

When I first began I diluted the 35% food grade Hydrogen Peroxide drops in about 6-8ozs of water. It immediately began killing my stomach and so I increased my water to about 9-11 ozs...11 ozs is way too much water for me to ingest at one time...it made my stomach feel as if it were going to blow up...then someone suggested that I dilute the 35% food grade Hydrogen Peroxide in 8ozs of milk which I tried, to no avail...In the past I have suffered from stomach ulcers and this regimen most certainly exacerbated my condition, or perhaps created a new one...it felt like it was ripping my stomach in half...now, perhaps this solution must be further diluted, I am not sure, but what I am sure of is that the initial protocol, that is widely distributed via the internet, was without a doubt a tremendously painful experience for me. I am not in any way indicating that it will most certainly be someone else's experience, verbatim, but nonetheless I feel the need to share what has happened to me in order to possibly aide someone else in their attempts. I do not think that the former protocol for diluted 35% food grade Hydrogen Peroxide is good for ulcerous stomachs...you must be extremely careful if you have these issues...that is really all I can say..."

01/11/2010: Bunny from Santa Ana, Ca replies: "If you have an ulcer you should deal with that first. 2 ounces of fresh cabbage juice 5 times a day for a couple of weeks will usually do the trick. Most ulcers are caused by NSAIDS (aspirin, Tylenol, Advil, etc.)so you need to watch those. If this doesn't improve things you'll need to have your doctor run a few tests to see if something larger is going on."

[SIDE EFFECTS]  01/09/2010: Phoenix75 from Carmel, Ca, U.S.A. writes: "And here are my thoughts on the 3% store bought hydrogen peroxide:

First of all I have seen all of the postings, via the internet, about using the 3% store bought hydrogen peroxide as mouth wash, etc. so I tried it...on the back of the bottle it says to mix it with an equal amount of water...well, first off I tried it mixed with an equal amount of water and I also tried a miniscule amount of it straight...as mouthwash...I gurgled it around in my mouth, morning and night, after brushing...it made my gums extra sensitive and made them crack open and bleed, all over...the one thing that it did do was kill the toothache that I had...so, perhaps I did not dilute it enough, or properly, etc. and again, I state that this is only my personal experience, and as such, it may not be applicable to everyone else, but it is important to note, nonetheless..."
