My name is Cynthia from Lagos Nigeria. I have a 5.7 right ovarian cyst. I started taking Apple Cider Vinegar and Mollasses for one month now and continued experiencing severe pains so I decided to go for a scan last week and the scan shows that I now have a 5.2 left ovarian cyst as well and the right one has increased to 6.4. I don't know if its the Apple Cider and Mollasess I took that increased it or not. Someone should please advice me on what to do next. I cannot withstand the pains any longer.

Did you approve this with your doctor first? Also, what size was your cyst. I found out at 5 weeks pregnant that I have a cyst on my right ovary. Waiting for results tomorrow, but I am already looking for remedies.

To L from Visalia, California: For several years I have been having sharp pains about once in a while and several weeks ago I finally went to the ER and they discovered that I had numerous cysts on each ovary. I did a follow up appt with a gynocologist and she showed me my ovaries on a sonogram. I WAS SHOCKED!!! Each one of my ovaries probably had about 30, if not more, pea sized looking balls on around them. They gave me a prescription for low-dose hormone birth control to dissolve the cysts. I have had problems in the past with BC and this is why I am looking for an alternative remedy.

Recently met a holistic doctor who suggested ginger root slivers steeped in Green Tea then adding 1/4 tsp turmeric.

I have not tried this yet as I just got the recipe a couple days ago. I have confidence that it will work though because he told me of all the diseases he cured himself of using his remedies.

I have been taking the ACV and molasses (8 oz of water, 1 TBSP of organic Blackstrap Molasses, 1 TBSPS of Organic ACV) twice a day for 2 weeks, and the pain from my large anterial ovarian cyst is all but gone! HOWEVER, I am going through one awful digestive ordeal. Gurgly stomach, gas, bowel with undigested bits (gross- sorry), nausea and stomach cramps. Its not constant, and at moments I feel fantastic, but when it hits, it hits hard. Once or twice throughout the day, and I'm losing 2-3 hours of sleep each night. Is this normal?? Help!!

ACV works!!!!! I had to share my story with this forum! After having a bartholin cyst for over 2 years, I asked the Lord to lead me to a remedy, because it was becoming more painful and uncomfortable (about the size of a rounded quarter. ) I was led to this forum where I read about ACV and blackstrap organic unsulphered molasses. So I decided to give it a shot. I began on a thursday at lunch time taking 1 Tablespoon of ACV with 1 tablespoon BSM (molasses organic unsulphered) in 8 ounces of water. I continued taking it morning and night after I ate. I noticed my cyst over the next couple days became more and more irritated and painful. By that saturday afternoon (Less than 3 days) I was in a lot of pain and could barely take it! Yet I knew something was about to give because I was in so much pain. By Saturday night at midnight my cyst popped!!! A bunch of blood and pus (sorry to be graphic) came out! Instantly, once it popped my pain was completely gone and since then my cyst is almost 100% dissapeared! I praise God for this healing and also that he led me to this forum. ACV works!

I am taking iodine to reduce and get rid of my cysts. From what I have read in other good sources lack of iodine (which is prolific) is the cause of cysts. I have no pain but was told I have one large cyst on one ovary and many small ones on the other organs. I started taking iodine a few months ago and felt better over all but I have not been back to see if the cysts are smaller or gone.

Hi Celine, I also have overian cyst and this is what I am doing for my self. I am taking wheat grass powder everyday in the morning and with that I mix one spoon coconut oil, baking soda and very little vinegar and sometimes for extra cleansing little sea salt and at night before dinner baking soda and apple cider vinegar and before go to sleep one spoon coconut oil. Last two months my period became regurlar and no pain. I am going for my ultrasound next week, I let u know my result for overrian cyst and fibroid. I can not take black molasses but mix little beat in the acv, baking soda and little molasses. This is definately helps. coconut oil is also excellent for the body.

The Recipe To Rid The Body Of Ovarian Cyst
Prepare a mixture of 5lb pre cooked beets, 2 lbs of carrots, half a bottle of non alcoholic wine and 2 jars of molasses, by juicing them all together. Take one shot glass before a meal, three times a day for 15 days and then continue with the rest of the batch twice daily, once before breakfast and once before dinner. You will probably find that your cycle is heavy for the first couple of days. Also no alcohol must be consumed during this period. Women who tried this mix found their cysts disappeared within a few weeks.

Apple Cider Vinegar can be bought at vitacost. Com, also Organic Apple Cider Vinegar is a very good natural brand that I trust. They also sell lots of other vitamins that are awesome! I Love the Garden of Life vitamins, they even have a prenatal. I have a 5.1 ovarian cyst, but I used the vinegar for some gallstones, and Ialso did a gallstone cleanse at the same time, will continue with 1 teaspoon with a glass of water. Drinking before a meal helps a lot and does not hurt my stomach. Prayers to each for a miracle healing.

I don't know what grocery stores are in your area, but here in Washington the Safeway carries it on the syrup isle, and the Fred Meyer carries it in the baking section.

Just make sure it says "unsulphered". It costs less than five dollars a bottle here, and a bottle lasts about a month or so, depending on how much you use.

Good luck. :-)

Hello, A few years back I had an ovarian cyst on each ovary. Unfortunately, I lost my left ovary and was able to save my right one. Recently, I was diagnoised with an Ovarian Cyst on my RIGHT ovary, along with endometriosis. I was devastated and scared. I am only 27 years old and would love to one day bare children of my own. So I searched and searched for home remedies to avoid surgery that could potentially lose my last surviving ovary.

I found a remedy combining Blackstrap Molasses and Apple Cider Vinegar with water. I did this for about 1 month and my cyst had dissolved from 6cm to 1/2cm!!

I was THRILLED, relieved and felt so blessed. I kept my faith in God, in myself, in my body and I am healing. It DID WORK!!

I just wanted to share so this could help anyone else going through what or similar to what I was going through.

Thank you!!

I have been dealing with ovarian cysts for ten years now. I am in terrible pain one day out of the month to the point of total bed rest. Some months I have no pain. I have taken herbs that help. I am curious about this apple cider vinegar and molasses recipe, I have both items in my pantry cupboard and am ready to start mixing them to make my own remedy. My entire right side hurts daily and I am hot all the time. I thought I was going through menopause early but after reading this blog I see it may be the cysts. I had a cyst that was the size of a golf ball pass a few years ago just before surgery. I want to cure this myself if it is possible. L

Is Ovarian Cyst different from PCOS? I have been suffering from PCOS for last 15 years. I concieved after 5 years of marriage and after lots of fertility treatments. I do not have regular periods even now. I am 37 years old. I am trying for another baby. But PCOS has made life unimaginable. I am taking 2Tbsp of ACV with 1/2 tbsp of Baking Soda for last 2 weeks. Things haven't changed so far. I dont see my periods coming on time either. How long will it take to see some improvement? Should I take something else with ACV and Baking Soda?

The Dr. wanted to know my secret! :) 30 yrs ago, women didn't have the power of other women across the world wide web sharing their stories of success! I could have been recovering from a surgery right now and staring at a medical bill. I'm feeling very grateful tonight...

Dim, Flaxseed, Chckweed
Posted by Aquarelle (West Coast, America) on 06/01/2012

My naturopath recommended DIM supplements (pill form) in the treatment of ovarian cysts. She recommended it for at least 3 months along with Vitex (chasteberry) to 'reset' my system. DIM is an estrogen blocker, extracted from cruciferous vegetables (like cauliflower) and I've read a few comments suggesting adding those into the diet which is a great idea too.

In addition to this, she suggested I take either ground flaxseeds or psyllium husks daily or on a regular basis in order to flush the system and keep things moving. She said that this is a big help with ovarian cysts.

I can say that a 'complex' cyst that was found back in December had found to be decreased in size in March, and just last week was no longer there. Although I am now also using a Chickweed tincture (as recommended by Susan S. Weed) because I wanted to shrink this cyst, the DIM and vitex are what was in use at the time of this 'shrinking' cyst. So that is promising.

But...they did discover I have a 'new' cyst. And my issue may not be about shrinking them as they come and go, but... How to keep them from recurring. And I believe that perhaps a large part of my issue has to do with stress. I have had my share (haven't we all) as I am also recovering from Adrenal Fatigue.

I looked up 'stress' and 'cysts' online and found a few interesting articles... Of course we all know what stress can do. I believe that this was a big dot to connect as I can pinpoint major stress events and what followed, though it's not a perfect pattern. Just a thought to throw out there. There is so much mystery surrounding ovarian cysts it's really very unfair.

Herbal Tincture
Posted by Aquarelle (West Coast, America) on 05/31/2012

Great herbs; Thank you. I am going to try this.

Susan S. Weed, a well-known herbalist also states that Chickweed tincture (made with fresh chickweed only, not dried) is excellent for shrinking ovarian cysts. It isn't readily available, but I had my local herb store commission an herb grower to make it for me. If you are an expert herbalist type it does grow fresh in many regions, but be sure you know how to identify it should you make your own tincture.

I am going to continue it along with the other herbs you describe.

I have had 3 MRIs over the last 2 years to monitor a large fibroid (see other posts). The first scan also showed the presence of a chocolate cyst and a functional cyst. Since changing my diet to control the symptoms of the fibroid, both cysts have disappeared.

In addition to becoming a vegetarian, I regularly drink ACV (2 tbsp/day with baking soda water) and take vitex agnus castus (chasteberry) capsules (4 mg). 6 months after the first MRI, the cysts were not visible. 19 months later, the latest MRI has shown no sign of any cysts.

hi all! I am 36 years old and have a 7 yr old son. I used to have painful period but never took it seriously until I missed it last month. I thought I was pregnant, as on our son's request for a younger one we were trying. Then, when I took the strip test two times it was negative, the concerns rose. I went to the doc. Who send me for ultrasound, which showed that I have 2 cysts, 1 each in both ovaries and also a fibroid. The doc gave me a paracetamol, a hormone tablet and another tablet for what I don't know. The symptoms persisted and I went for a second opinion to a chinese doc. after going thru the 1st day of acupunture my breast tenderness has gone but yet no relief from the pain and heaviness in the pelvic.

I came across your site and will be trying out the remedies suggested with an open mind. Hoping to be cured at the earliest.

My concern is when will I be having my normal periods again, as I want another baby.

please respond.

Alkaline Water

Regarding Iodine deficiency and ovarian cysts...

A red flag went up for me when I saw someone suggest that Iodine deficiency causes them. I say this because my holistic doctor tested me months ago, and I had Iodine deficiency and once they gave me a little bit, then I stopped taking it, my thyroid swelling, like it wanted more. So I kept taking it and felt pretty good. I also have estrogen dominance, so I take oral bioidentical progesterone before my period starts to try and even that out.

Well, on my last period I had run out of Iodine and since I recently lost my job, I was trying to cut back and hadn't ordered it yet. As a result, my thyroid's been swelling and about the same time as I took the progesterone this past month, I felt swelling and pain in my sides. After some ultrasounds (CT scans were suggested, but it has a lot of radiation) they found cysts had formed. I have never had cysts before (23, one child) and I was quite surprised... but I had been on birth control up until I started taking the progesterone/iodine as well.

So I began looking for natural things that people claim have worked and only got to the second post when I saw the iodine deficiency suggestion. Needless to say, I've already reordered my Iodoral to see if it works. I'll be able to tell because the cysts are swollen and occasionally pains me, but I'll have another ultrasound as soon as I can afford it anyway to confirm whether it's gotten larger or smaller or vanished. I will reply back in a few months.

I have been going to so many doctors and paying out the pocket to be told they don't know what's wrong with me. My husband ended up in the hospital so I decided to try one more time and had a CT scan done it turns out I have a 4 centimeter cyst on my left ovary. This runs through all my sisters> I guess I got it late. Well anyway is it possible the cysts caould have been mistaken for something else? Because my doctors thought I was just fat. Would it be possible to sue them for compensastion on all the bull they put me hrough? Now I have to follow up with yet another doctor to find out what we should do next. I am at least relieved to know what had been wrong with me this entire time. Although, I am highly ticked that the doctors were making me pay so much out of pocket because I didn't have insurance. And by out of pocket I mean a couple $$$$thousand $$$$ and all it took was an emergency room visit and to many people asking when was I due because I look like I am 7 months pregnant from the abdominal swelling.

I think it's perfectly safe to take ACV while pregnant.

It's not a whole lot different than having dressing on a salad. And since using salad dressing isn't discouraged during pregnancy, I don't see why a couple of tablespoons of ACV per day would hurt anything.

On 12/9/11 I had an ultrasound that showed two cysts on my ovaries. One on the left side was 5.6 cm and one on the right side was 2.5 cm. The technician stated that the larger one was called a chocolate cyst. First thing I thought was OMGoodness.... Surgery!!!

I found this site and have been taking ACV, beets, aloe vera juice, black strap molasses and honey daily. I started my cycle one week after I began this regiment. I had no PMS and my period only lasted 4 days.... That is unheard of! Plus it wasn't near as heavy as usual. I have had a pain in my left side for years. Anytime I sneeze or cough, I have to brace myself or I get a sharp pain, especially if I am laying in bed.

Within one week I notice a reduction in the level of pain... YIPPEE! I will go next month for another ultra sound and I can't wait to see what the results are. Everything points to good news. I have to say, the concoction is not very pleasant... But better than the alternative!!! I will keep you posted :o) (PS... I am also taking moringa and Mona Vie!! )

Hi ladies, I am 39 years young, I was tied off five years ago, after I gave birth to twins. Soon after I started having heavy 20 day periods with unbearable pains.

In February of 2011, while having my period, I fainted on my job and was taken to hospital by ambulance. After many tests and scans they discovered an ovarian cyst, and discharged me from hospital, before my next appointment I had my period and this time it was heavier than anyone can imagine. After my fiance found me on the floor unconcious, he took me to my Dr.who sent me to the emergency room where Dr.said I needed surgery. I was so worried I knew there was something else that could be done naturally, so I desperately surfed the internet, for months.

I put off my wedding and dedicated some serious time into finding a remedy other than surgery-that's when I came across this website and the apple cider vinegar remedy. Stopped eating red meat, fastfoods, chocolates, dairy products, animal fats, sugar, caffeine, sodas and breads made with white flour. I started drinking 100% juices and green tea and 180 ounces of water daily, eating lots of vegetables, fruits and boiled foods, prunes, nuts and beans.

I tried the apple cider vinegar in my water and juices twice daily, and I also douche twice daily with strong vinegar and water, and I must say it's been three weeks and I feel and look much better. My stomach is much flatter and I can now sleep on my stomach at night, no more heavy bleeding or pains.

I am so glad I came across this site. My cyst was the size of a cantaloupe I could have actually felt it in my stomach, this remedy along with praying in faith and believing God for my healing is truly working. I didn't show up for my surgery but I rescheduled an ultrasound and I will keep you ladies posted on my results. I truly believe my cyst has shrunk, and I believe in these remedies and my God.

I was having lower abdominal pain, fatigue, extreme boating, leg pain and other symptoms and because I lost my insurance I was not able to just call my doctor. I googled my symptoms and realized it was ovarian cysts which I had years ago. I read about the aloe, beet, molasses, ACV remedy. THANK GOD!!! The end of the first day of the mixture three times a day I was 90% pain free. I hadn't slept well in days before but after a good nights sleep the bloating was almost all gone. The leg pain is completely gone. I smash 2 or 3 beets with a fork add the organic aloe vera and molasses, mix with the fork and drink it down. Then I chase it with an ounce of apple cider vinegar. I may start to dilute the ACV because it's pretty tough stuff. I still feel some fatigue but I feel and not 100% yet but it's only been a couple days. I heard I should be on the remedy for 40 days and change my diet. I am cutting out red meat for a couple weeks and anything with white flour and will cut out any refined sugar products. It will be a challenge with the diet situation but I will rather feel better and be healthier. I'm so grateful for woman who ban together to help other women. Thank you all you beautiful ladies!

Hi! My thanks to this website and all the members who have shared their remedies for ovarian cysts. I have cysts in both my ovaries for almost 2 years now. I've been taking homeopathy medicines since 8 months due to which the pain has subsided but the cyst remains!!!

I'm gonna try the ACV & Molasses this month and will revert back, hope it works!

Thank you all....

Hello I have the same problem of ovarian cyst and all the messages seem very convincing in trying the APPLE CIDER VINEGAR & MOLASSES. So my question is how much do we take and how many times a day plus can a regular molasses work or it has to be blackstrap?

If anyone can answer this so I can get started with this ailment....

My fiancee has a 7 cm cyst and a fibroid growing on her uterus, she is in a lot of pain. I took her to the ER and they found these and said take motrin? It's not working and we are unsure what to do. Hi all,

I've been diagnosed with a 3.2 cm left ovarian cyst last October and did a lot of research. I tried apple cider vinegar and blackstrap molasses since then. I drink these twice a day. I also changed my diet to something alkaline. I had my 2nd ultrasound just recently and my cyst is all gone. I am so happy and thankful for the people who shared this very helpful information. I hope more women will benefit from this.

Hi,

I'm happy to tell u that blackstrap molasses and apple cider vinegar really work, I've tried it myself, I had an ovarian cyst in my right ovary, the doctors couldn't help me because I'm pregnant, then I searched the web til I found this site and I tried blackstrap molasses and apple cider vinegar, (I think the molasses is the secret but...)

Anyway after 3 days of taking 1 t/s of vinegar and 1 of molasses in the morning before breakfast and the same at night before dinner, I felt that my pain reduced to 10%, and then like after 3 weeks I went for another ultra sound and my cyst was gone, the doctor told me I can't see anything for real.

So just trust me and try this, specially if you're pregnant and you're not allowed to take medicines.

Now I'm in my 37 weeks, almost there, plz pray for me.

Try organic ACV with honey... Equal parts. First, the organic tastes so much better than regular ACV and the honey helps. My uncle also sometimes puts lemon in it... Just a thought!

Thank You! I have been suffering from ovarian pain since 2007 it is now almost 2012. I have been to the doctor more than five times concerning my pain and each time I was brushed off. Finally, of all people, a male nurse practitioner had me get an ultrasound. Sure enough I was suffering from ovarian cysts. Once I knew what was wrong with me it only took me a few days to find this site and I am so GLAD! It hurt so bad I didn't know if what I was dealing with was terminal. I have been taking TURMERIC, APPLE CIDER VINEGAR, MOLASSES, ALOE JUICE, BEETS and some other supplements for other ailments such as CHAMOMILE, OMEGA 3, B6, AND FENUGREEK. I can't believe I have only been taking the Apple Cider Vinegar for a few days and the shooting pain has subsided. After four years of continuous aches and pains!

I have a 15 year old niece who has been suffering from severe abdominal pains which come off and on and menstrual pains. Ultrasound just revealed that she has a 3.7cm left ovarian mass.

How do I get the apple cider vinegar. The local herb sellers in my environment don't know these herbs. Please help. I leave in Benin City, Nigeria.

I have 7 large cysts on my ovaries after being stimulated for an IUI all are between a 2 and a 6 cm. I am in pain and it has almost been a month since I had my last ultrasound and the pain is growing so I know they are not decreasing. When I go back next I am hoping for them to be gone as I would love to be able to try for our baby before the end of the year. I have tried the Apple Cider Vinegar the last two nights and now I am going to try the beets, molasses, aloe combination. I am desperate at this point to get rid of the cysts! Has anyone mixed the ACV with anything that can mask the nasty taste?

Multiple Remedies
Posted by Edita (Los Angeles, Ca) on 10/12/2011

Just a month ago I was diagnosed with 5.5cm ovarian cyst and 6 small fibroids. Doctor prescribed me birth control pills and said that most likely I will need a surgery in few months. I already had one surgery 9 years ago and I was on birth control pills long time after that. However, we want to have a baby now. I decided enough is enough; I don't want to have surgeries every 5-10 years and I wont drink birth control pills.

I found this website and it really inspired me. I could not believe that people can treat such problems themselves. Immediately I went to store and bought some beets, carrots, aloe and molasses. I squeezed fresh juice, added some apple to improve the taste. I put a big jar of juice in a fridge and it was enough for a whole week. Every morning and afternoon I made a mix of juice, aloe vera, molasses and apple cider. No precise measurements, only as much as I could drink. Since I also had fibroids, I bought vitex, milk thistle and yellow dock tinctures and I mixed in the juice. I found them on this website: http://www.uterine-fibroids.org/herbal-treatments.html

Also, I was drinking herbal teas couple times a day, usually few different at a time (dandelion, milk thistle, nettle, red clover.. ). In addition I bought moringa and maca powder, I added some kelp powder, that is good for thyroid ( I don't recommend it for cysts). That was extremely nasty and I made myself to drink just couple times. Moringa and maca are bitter, kelp made everything taste like a green swamp.

I put castor oil packs almost every night.

I tried to eat less dairy and meat, but actually it was more difficult than I thought.

One really good book I would recommend is "Women's Bodies, Women's Wisdom" by Christiane, Northrup. It talks a lot about emotional side of healing in addition to physical healing. I cried reading this book. I let go some emotions. I think every woman has to find out for herself, what the problem was that the cyst appeared.

I don't know is this a coincidence, or it really worked. I went to a different doctor today and he saw only 1.5cm follicle cyst, that he said is nothing to worry about, because I am about to ovulate. He said that could be two possible fibroids, but they are really small. I don't know if it worked, or was it a mistake by one of the doctors. Also, I had a two months of vacation, after stressful job with extreme overtime and had time to relax and ate tons of rasberries, from my parents garden, that are good for women. I still cannot believe myself that a large cyst is gone.

I do NOT recommend using any soy products. An imbalance of the estrogen in your system leads to ovarian cysts and soy is a mass producer of estrogen. Dairy should be used in moderation and organic as much as possible as it contains estrogen as well.

Estrogen blockers like brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage are awesome to implement to lower your estrogen levels.

I am so glad that I found this site. I found out I had fibroid cyst 11yrs ago. The day my Dr. told me I was pregnant with my son. He said I had 2 little ones, nothing to be alarmed about. Through the years I've never had any problems with them until I realized my belly was getting big. I was sent for a sonogram, & I noticed the tech was taking extremely long so I ask is there a problem and she said, "I was counting but I stopped after 9. I was shocked so from 1999 - 2008 I've accumulated 7 more (so I thought). Then my Dr. & I discussed the removal of them. And me just wanting to get rid of them decided to go with surgery. After surgery I asked my Dr. how did it go and he said it went really well, I removed all 30 of them. I could not believe my ears. That was 3 yrs ago, and guess what they are back not 30, but they're here. I'm not going through surgery again- that's a bit much. So far I've changed my diet, and started on the ACV. I'm excited and I will definitely keep you posted on my results.

Multiple Remedies
Posted by Larry (Rgv, Texas Usa) on 10/01/2011

Here's the real deal, been reading comments about ACV and others. Here's what will work though some of the comments are good but the molasses is still a sugar very much better than white and better for diabetics, Sugar is our main cause of a lot of problems and our life style and everything we eat/buy in the store has it or fructose in it we're Sugar Junkies. Sugar, caffeine, Vit C citris should all be avoided while doing the following to get rid of cysts. You need to take 6 drops potassium iodine SSKI in water with teaspoon ACV or 1 drop of 5-2% Lugols Iodine both found on-line or at drug stores. Supplement with Vitamin E, Selenium to control the interaction on T3-T4 and your thyroid, the selenium will help metabolize estrone& I6 Alpha to good estrogen and take Dong Quai, chinese herb that will help regulate estrogen and take as long as you can find it take Natural Progesterone pills/tablets. The iodine will need to be monitored by your Dr for your thyroid level if you continue longer than 30 days. Start slowly to make sure you are not iodine sensitive. As with the old Iodine on cuts and in water to kill bateria the Iodine will work on any one of the three types of cysts that get infected by menstral bleeding and cause pain and growth. These have worked for 90% of those and more that have tried this.

May God Bless. I hope to have e-books on this and other cures (some of which have worked on me and saved /prolonged my life) soon and possibly on kindle if I can find the time to complete writing and publish to my web pages and others.

Worried Amanda, I had cyst problems thru out my life. My first daughter I had at 30, I had her early, but no problems. Lost one baby and than I tried for 6 yrs. I had same problems as you. I ended up going to a fert Dr and did IUI (put sperm directly in me past cervix) but I ended up with twins at 36. I wouldn't worry about the getting pg until you get yourself better. By not removing the large cyst you may do more damage to your ovary. I would listen to Dr.Advice. And I have a friend that has only 1 ovary and she still got pg! Life works in strange ways. If I wouldn't have lost my 1 baby I would of never had my twins.. Believe me.. sometimes its worth the wait! I wish you luck.

You could be having the cysts due to the tubes being tied, I have a close friend who got hers tied and apparently its a common side affect, She ended up getting a historectomy( sorry for the spelling)... You need to get on some iodine, bentonite clay (the edible kind, not aztec clay) and change your diet. Raw milk is a must if you can get some do it. EAT MEAT, Our bodies need good fats and I would suggest taking some dandelion root tincture, you can get that at a healthfood store, also take apple cider vinegar and blackstrap molasses in the milk, for this you take 1 cup Organic or Raw, preferrably raw milk, blend with 1 Tablespoon of Unsulphered blackstrap molasses and drink, immediately after take 1 tablespoon of Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, abvoid chocolate and caffeine and I would suggest getting on some good magnesium oil as well, spray onto the bottoms of your feet before bedtime, one to two sprays is sufficient, it will make your feet itch so I suggest getting a lava stone or something to scrub the dead skin off with. Also get on a good multivitamin and make sure your eating PLENTY of DARK LEAFY GREENS, try to eat most of your food raw, of course not meat but you know what I mean, raw fruits and veggies. Hope this helps! You should also go see a Naturopath in your area, they will be able to do much much more

ACV Absolutely Works!! ~ Have had ovarian cysts in monthly cycles for 25 years, never having pain or problems but recent trouble with bleeding and drainage that would NOT stop. Even tried the dreaded pill, with results of breast pain, water retention, weight gain, candida, extreme tiredness on top of my original problem. Some days having to take up to 3 pills in attempts to stop the bleeding.

Have heard of results with ACV anywhere from immediate to 3 mos, I saw results immediately but bleeding and drainage stopped in just 2 days!! And best, no more pills!! (Drinking 3tsp in warm water 4xs per day, douching 3xs per day w/ 1/2 c. ACV & 1/4 cup warm water) The effects are much more immediate if you are already on an alkaline diet and free of processed foods, sugar and animal hormones (meat, dairy, soy, the pill) Am so happy and going to continue the treatment PRN in hopes of never having cysts ever again. Am so happy with the results! Definitely worth giving it a try. ACV works!!

The other thing I did was to change my eating habits. I reduced on red meat and diary.

I did this a for a month. I pray that this works for you as well.

To Beky from Highland Park:

Your response resonated so much with me. I had a fluid-filled ovarian cyst last fall and healed it completely with nutritional/emotional/herbal therapies like the ones you described. However, I've just been diagnosed with a 12cm dermoid (solid) cyst- do you think nutritional/herbal remedies would be enough to heal it? Most of the literature out there says surgery is the only option for a solid cyst. That almost makes sense to me since a fluid-filled cyst could just eventually deflate/drain whereas a solid one has nowhere to go... They are suggesting I get surgery within the month, and "not to wait"- so I don't know if it's foolish or effective to spend a few months focusing on remedies such as yours. What do you think?

Hi Yana, pain in legs is a usual fibroid symptom. Well, as Annie says, every woman can have different ones. Also fibroids, like cysts, can be cured naturally. Cider vinegar is great but probably only one piece in the cure puzzle. I would be seriously thinking about avoiding certain foods that contain hormones, like meat, eggs, dairy products, and foods with chemicals and additives. It may sound strange but the hormones from the food comes to your body, they circle in your blood and end up in organs and places where they can cause growths connected to hormones, such as fibroids or ovarian cysts. Sweety, try the "water soluble Vitamin E" U get at Walmart. I cant say the name brand here, but its very important to get "water soluble kind, its the only vitamin e that has helped my reproductive system. Take 400 IU 1 to 2 caplets moring and evening. Start with that, a multivitamin, and FOLIC ACID, very, VERY important. Does wonders for your reproductive system. Please wait on the surgery and try the herbal route first, U have nothing to lose at this point. GREENS, greens greens, buy a green supplement (kind of pricey but worth it) and make smoothies or shakes. Also, green tea extract would be good too, along with several cups of Jasmin green tea thru out the day. Change your diet, (ofcourse) more water, and more fruits, veggies, -teas. Herbal suppositories. Research them online. Vaginal suppositories and douches. Ive heard of many women helping themselves with that.

There is a website that I cant say on here, but this website sells a kit to unblock the fallopain tubes. It includes an herbal tampon, and douche(chamomile tea wash) Juicing is also an option. Some women just bombard themselves with herbs to try to get pregnant, but I would do tons of research on the web. There are forums for women trying to get pregnant, that have been successful, just research. Also, there is somthing called the "maya massage", (massaging your abdominal area to get the blood flowing, and break up scar tissue, and there is a dvd available. Altho I would not recommend something so invasive in your state right now. You need to focus on getting that cyst to go down.

I've been taking the Potassium Iodide for a little less than 2 months now, and it doesn't seem to have done much in terms of shrinking the cyst. Maybe I haven't been taking enough. (2 tablets of 32.5 mg each at the most, and then using iodine/iodine tablets or liquid iodine occasionally)

I think I lost 10 lbs because of the Potassium Iodide. It seems to work a lot like the Molasses-- it took away the pain almost completely. The first month, I felt that it had a detoxing effect, but then I lowered the dosage because I didn't want to hurt myself with too much iodine.

I remember reading one site that mentioned that the iodine may need 2 to 6 months to work. That seems to be a long time. I wish I enjoyed eating beets more, but it's really hard to stand the taste.

Healing and health to everyone! Don't give up.

Here's my story. Im 34, never been married, no kids. Had a laparascopic surgery in 2000 to remove a very large fibroid tumor and at least one cyst as well as some cleanup from very severe endometriosis. I think I got it from my mother. I had it since I was very young. Anyway, after the surgery, for years I took birth control pills nonstop so no further damage could be done. Unfortunately, I developed a blood clot which went to my lungs and nearly killed me. I had my dvt misdiagnosed several times by doctors and by the time it got really bad and I realized what was going on, the clots had infarcted in my lungs and the damage was done. I had since been pretty good but not able to take birth control. Life went on, career success etc.

Last september, I finally met the man of my dreams. We both really want kids one day and hopefully it will work out between he and I to where that will be something we will try for one day. (we are not married) Anyway, just recently I had some serious pain and started bleeding very heavily and not on my cycle. I went back to the same doc who did my surgery in 2000. She did a ultrasound and found a huge cyst the size of a grapefruit on my right ovary. The tests were so hard to see due to scarring, the bleeding, gas etc that they couldnt even see the other ovary. I have now been walking around with a huge mass in my belly and have had stabbing pains. Saw her again yesterday and she said that the cyst has to go and that she would need to do cleanup on severe endometriosis. My organs for reproductivity are still present but I am not sure how possible kids still are. She gave me some hope but I am still very scared. I want a family more than anything. I cannot take hormones to try to shrink the cyst so surgery is my main option. It will happen in 4 weeks unless my pain gets way worse earlier.

I have now started taking a bunch of supplements and am trying the molasses and apple cider vinegar aloe remedy to see if it might help make a miracle. I so want to be a mom :(

Anyone have this bad of everything and still manage to be able to have kids? Im really worried here...

Have you tried switching from regular yogurt to soy or a coconut based yogurt instead? You can find them at WholeFoods or possibly an organic store. Cutting out the dairy in your diet really would help. There is a downside. These types of yogurt cost twice as much and can be harder to find. It will also take your taste buds some time to adapt, but the rewards are definently worth it. You feel better. You really do.
