ive had 3 lots of antibiotics, steriods for a bronchial virus which has me coughin all day and night for over 2 months so my ribs feel like ive been run over by a steam roller, 2 days ago i began inhaling h202 3% every 2 hrs day and night and havent seen any results so far but i notice bill says it could take a couple of weeks so im hopeful. Ive never smoked nor had any bronchial problems, only once before in l982 a mild bronchitis, so im not prone to these things - there seems to be many viruses going around england at present. Heres hoping this hydrogen peroxide works cos the drs sure arent helping! has anyone else had a virus so long and has h202 cured it> be interested to hear please?

Well after my last post, the virus i had for over 2 months went in a week, i inhaled every two hours when awake, though couldnt sleep much and got worse after a couple of days, then gradually the symptoms went, i still have a slight soreness in the top of my chest but thats all, im so grateful to thie h202 and the info on this site - the acv has brought down my bp and cured my gerd and oil pulling has massively improved my stiff joints

Im very happy and impressed with these more natural ways of treatment - still a little concerned about taking bicarb with the acv because of the possibility of it increasing bp..........has anyone answered that question yet? I noticed someone else asked about it.......J

The minute I feel a cold coming on or any kind of sinus problem I lay on one side, put a drop (little bit) in my ear and lay there for a few minutes, longer if lots of crackling. I do the other ear same way and I swear I have not had any head cold or sinus infection in 5 years. I also started using saline nose spray at the end of the night if I have gone out of the house ( grocery store, bingo, senior center, people places). I use it like a stream to cleanse, not just spray and I also gargle with warm salt water same thing at end of night before bed. I read somewhere or heard it that it takes germs 3 days to propagate in your nose or throat so if ya keep them washed away, well so far so good. They also say do not put peroxide in yur ear if you have ever had a ruptured eardrum and also don't irrigate your nose if you already are plugged up.

I have COPD and my breathing is not the best as of late, but not on oxygen yet. Chest seems tighter than usual. Would like to try the peroxide but am a little apprehensive about it because I use Spiriva, Albuterol and sometimes Flovent. Not sure if I should stop the inhalers first or for how long before trying. Also heard when you use vinegar ya want to rinse your mouth well because it eats away at teeth enamel. I also have osteoarthritis and osteoporosis so not sure how any of those things effect bones.

I HAVE COPD AND RESTRICTIVE HEART FAILURE. THESE TOGETHER HAVE MADE ANY KIND OF EXERTION ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. I TAKE THE SPRIVA INHALERS AND LASIX FOR FLUIDS BUT NOT MUCH HELP. WILL THIS HELP ME AT ALL?

Hello: I was waiting to answer on this subject because I wanted to try Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) on myself. Here is how it went: Last week Ginette got a terrible flu. She came back from work on Friday, 18th of april 2008, complaining about sore throat, general weakness, slightly blurred vision and all the other symptoms that go with it. She sprayed into her mouth H2O2 and took mega doses of vitamin C, but I think it was already too late. One week later she is almost OK except for some rather deep coughing.

When I saw her last Friday I immediately sprayed H2O2 several times in my throat and I continued for the following 2-3 days... I also took mega doses of vitamin C. Guess what ? No flu for me...

In the past, each time she had a flu like that, I would get it as well right after her (the mega dose of vitamine C couldn't prevent it), but not this time. I believe it was because I killed the virus with H2O2 by spraying it strait inside of my throat and lungs RIGHT ON TIME before it had time to spread into my lungs.

Despite of what some people may think, using H2O2 occasionally is not at all harmfull. The only thing that I felt is bacteria being fried right inside of my throat. No pain at all for me.

We brought a small spraying bottle with us to Cuba and used it by spraying it to kill bacteria in bathrooms, door knobs, ustencils in restaurants, remote control, drinking glasses, coffe cups, etc... I even sprayed a roaming cat that was coming to visit us. A few bugs fell down on floor immediately !!!

Have a nice day... with H2O2 ...

P.S. Here in Canada we can buy H2O2 at Dollarama... The price : A bottle of 450ml, containing 3% H2O2, for $0.99 cents, of course ! The big bottle as well as the spraying bottle must be kept away from exposure to light.

I'm having the best respite from a lifetime of asthma, allergies and chronic bronchitis since beginning three natural therapies. A) I take Vit D3 drops (Bioceuticals brand from health food shop) daily. B) I paint Lugol's iodine solution on my skin several times a week (just half a dropper full). C) I inhale 3% H Peroxide via the mouth about 6 times a day. The latter also lessened the pain from my Dercum's Disease (painful lipomatosis) by about 80% and cleared my thinking. I also sleep well now, and not too long and breathe and move better/more easily.

Hydrogen Peroxide Inhalation: While in Tucson, Arizona for an extended stay I caught a respiratory virus that nearly stopped my clock. The coughing was so severe and so frequent that I feared I would have a stroke. It was so bad that I literally could not sleep and was declining in health rapidly. I tried every over the counter cold medication I could buy with no improvement. Finally in desperation I bought a "Ocean Saline Nasal Sprayer Inhaler" --emptied out the contents --and replaced the saline with Hydrogen Peroxide 3% straight from the drug store shelf.I sprayed the H202 both in my throat and nose and relief was immediate. Within 3 hours the cough was under control. I continued using the spray for a week until the virus was killed. The only negative part of the cure was I lost my sense of smell and taste for several months. My taste and smell slowly returned to normal over a 6 month period. To say that I was scared by this virus, would be a gross understatement. To say that I am THANKFUL for H202, would also be an understatement. I am convinced it truly saved my life. 55 year old male.

As I have not tried this treatment, I have been reviewing all the comments. When I read Jay's comment about the only negative outcome was a loss of smell and taste for several months, I felt compelled to respond. Years ago my grandfather got one of those horrible viruses and lost all sense of taste and smell for life-my mother for years! So, I would venture to say that the treatment just might have restored (rather than caused) your senses in a short period of time.

Next time do half saline and half peroxide or 2/3 saline and 1/3 peroxide 3%.

Yesterday morning I awoke with the beginnings of the flu. My tell tale sign was that my neck ached like crazy right at the base of the skull and I was severely fatigued. My husband had been sick with the flu last week so I figured my turn had come. Well, I started inhaling my 3% peroxide h202 at 10:00am every 2 to 3 hours and by 5:00pm I was back to normal... no neck ache, no exhaustion, nothing. I am going to keep it up for a total of 3 days I think to make sure the virus has been eliminated, but this is the 5th time I have done this remedy for a virus bug and it has worked every time. It is a gem of a remedy. Thanks, Bill!

Had a sore throat and severe flu fatigue for several days. Tried the inhaler H202 method from your web site. 10 minutes after my first inhalation my energy came back. I did it once more and then went to bed. My sore throat disappeared over night and when I woke up the next morning, I was back to normal.

Since I heard about the h202 inhalation method on your site last winter, I have used it to treat viruses about 8 times. It is really the #1 remedy of all time in my opinion. Funnily enough, all my friends are scared to try it even though I tell them to just try it! But I did get my mother to use it (73 years old and going strong). She LOVES it now! At any rate, last night I started to get a sore throat and felt terrible and weak. I inhaled 2 hours apart and woke up feeling 100%.

It is great that this worked for you. One word of caution though is that you should not drink the 3% stabilized H2O2 that you get at the drugstore. If you are going to drink it, you should get some food grade H202 (35%) and dilute it.

On January 5, '07 I came down with the flu---VERY high fever, body aches and pains and nasty cough. I have not been this sick for about 7 years. After day 5 of high fevers with no relief, I went to the doc and got some antibiotics---which did work and by the 3rd day I was feeling dramatically better. But the COUGH---it just would not quit and was dragging me down making me feel like I was getting sick all over again and I felt like I had been hit by a Mack truck--no energy and just not feeling like I was quite well yet. So on day 16 of this illness, I came across this website for h2o2 inhalation. I just happened to have a spray bottle and some h2o2, and desperate for anything to start me healing, I tried it. The cough had been SO bad, every breath was a cough and it was keeping me up all night and I would have cough attacks that left me gagging. I was sore and exhausted. For 2 days, I have been taking a homeopathic cough remedy every 2 hours---but the sugar content was making me nauseated. SO---I went whole hog into this hydrogen peroxide bit---I drank a capful of 3% in a large glass of water, and then spray inhaled it about every hour. I noticed right away that when I did cough, it was productive rather than a dry, hacking cough. I drank the peroxide about every 2 hours and was inhaling about 6-8 sprays every hour or so. WOW---I have not had a dose of cough medicine for over 12 hours only using the h2o2 spray and I am truly impressed. In fact, I woke up around 2 a.m. needing to cough, did the spray-inhalation, and I did cough, but it was all productive and I went back to sleep and actually SLEPT!

When my husband got up this morning, as he has been fighting this lung germ also and has a nasty cough, I had him do the spray and drink the peroxide. Within an hour, he had a VERY productive cough attack and was impressed with how good he felt after that junk came out. Already seeing relief, I am sold on h2o2 therapy, and am telling everyone I know about it. I got an extremely strong virus with an obvious bacterial component, so I expect to do a round the clock therapy for at least a couple more days to get all the bacteria and virus out of my system. This is definitely the cheapest remedy that actually works that I have EVER tried. THANKS so much for this website and all the info!!!

I used the 3% h202 inhaling method recently to get rid of a virus that I couldn't kick. I have to say that the first time I tried it I felt a little light headed because my lungs (I'm guessing) were not used to this level of oxygenation. By the second day it was fine. I suggest people start with only 1 or 2 pumps of 3% and see how they feel. If okay, try a few more an hour or two later. Work your way up to 6 pumps at a time slowly. Oh, and yes it was successful in getting rid of my virus. Took 3 days to feel better.

Thanks so much for providing all of this invaluable info! I just started using the inhalation method of H202 (I put it in a pump atomizer instead of the nose spray container), as well as the cayenne pepper gargle for a sore throat. Both seem to be working well but I was wondering about adding some hydrogen peroxide to my neti-pot/ sinus-cleanse. Any thoughts on that and if so, what ratio of 3% H202 to water. Also, should the salt be omitted when using the H202? Thanks in advance for any info. Keep up the great remedies and healing work!

EC: See what others have written about H202 sinus infection cures here. A few people have written in about this combination for sinus infections.

After having great luck with inhaling drugstore h202 for viruses and flu in January and February, I switched from 3% to a dilution of food grade. I wasn't sure about how many drops to add to the inhaler, so I only added 2 drops to filtered water. This wasn't enough! After a couple of days, I felt the beginnings of a virus, which wouldn't have been the case if I had enough oxygen (ie., h202) in my blood. I quickly dumped out the food grade and added back the 3% and pumped 6 times. The viral symptoms disappeared within about 3 hours. It happened fast because I don't think the virus had been in my system very long. I am going to stick to the 3% for viruses and occasionally use the food grade to drink. Since Bill Munro has used the 3% for 12 years, I am not so worried about the additives!

If anyone is concerned about about additives and stabilizers in the 3% H2O2 here's a tip to maybe try: drink Aloe Vera juice which is known to chelate heavy metals and toxins which might be present as stabilizers in the H2O2 and has other tremendous health benefits too!

As far as getting dilutions right, 35% is 10 and a half times stronger than 3%, so you can add 10 and a half times more water to it and it will be now a 3% solution. So 10 and a half teaspoons of water mixed with one teaspoon of 35% HP makes it into 3% HP. If you want larger quantities, use cups instead, just stick to the 10 and a half parts, whatever the size, of water to 1 part of 35% HP. I think the maths is right..... Anyone ?

I read somewhere exactly what you are saying. One drop of 35% food grade peroxide is equal to 10 and 1/2 drops 3%Hydrogen Peroxide form the pharmacy. So if you want to dilute the 35% to 3% you add 10 and 1/2 of water. One tsp of 35% food grade 10 and 1/2 tsp of distilled water makes a 3% food grade peroxide. For one cup of 35% food grade you will need 10 and 1/2 cups of distilled water... And so on.. I think you are right.

The simplest way to make a 3% is use, 1 cup 35% to 11 cups of distilled water. That is 1 part 35 percent to ll parts water in any measurement will make 3 percent it is a ratio. Just make sure the water and peroxide are measured in same size container.

One part 35% food grade H2o2 and 11 parts of distiled water will give you the 3% H2o2. I've been using it for months orally, inhaled in the ears, etc. I love it have not gotten the flu in months and am feeling more and more energetic, though energy levels have come back gradually.

I have been struggling to get over the flu for the past 6 weeks. I have had a recurring sore throat, but mainly I have been unusually exhausted! I tried everything on your flu page! Nothing helped: vitamin C, zinc, apple cider vinegar, garlic, oregano oil. Finally went to the doc and he prescribed antibiotics (sometimes helps with a virus). Did not do a thing! Anyway, came across Bill's recommendation to inhale peroxide. I have put peroxide in my ear for years (didn't help this time), but never inhaled it. Figured it couldn't hurt! Started to inhale the peroxide, per Bill's instructions and it's now been 36 hours. I am not yet back to 100% but feel so much better! I have tons of energy. When I feel a wave of fatigue hit (the virus trying to come back?), I take more peroxide and the tiredness goes away immediately. Interesting stuff!

Hi there, Does anyone know if you can use the inhalation method with mercury amalgam fillings? I found out the hard way that you really cannot drink it unfortunately, and I haven't had them removed yet. I got so many benefits from H2O2 (before I got sick due to teh mercury released) that I would like to be able to use it. Alternatively can I drink it using a straw as one person suggested? Sorry if this has been covered, I haven't been able to find the answer.

Inhalation, if done correctly, should bypass your fillings. I would not recommend using the H2O2 mouth rinse though. I suspect, that a good deal of rinsing with water and spitting would minimize any amalgam/H2O2 reactions.

Hydrogen Peroxide Inhalation Method:

My wife has now used it for the first time, via a nebulizer, but she felt the first time that her throat was being squeezed. My wife has COPD. Does this happen more often and what could you do about it?

SteefenJo, it is obviously too concentrated for her. Either use MUCH less h2o2, or have her breathe the vapors of hot water with a spritz of h2o2. A nebulizer is very direct, try a farther way of breathing it.
