I can't believe after all these years (58) I actually found a site where I can use information to get rid of this mole that has been on the tip of my nostril forever! You may understand how much I detested it, and the frustration I felt not having a way to remove it! I found this site yesterday, and last night began applying the vinegar and vaseline! It's a raised mole, about the size of a split pea.... But it feels huge! Lol
It immediately started turning white, and puffing up. The bottom half became black.... Which sounds like what it's supposed to be doing. I used a needle and emery board to roughen it up, and applied chap stick and vaseline to the surrounding skin. Because of it's location, I cannot bandage it... Nothing will stick, so I'll have to do it the hard way.... Applying ACV constantly with a q-tip. It seems to be working, and I feel like I have a new lease on life!
I have gotten really bad skin with wrinkles and jowl lines in the last few years, due to stress and lack of care. I am on a quest to regain my appearance as much as possible, and am using all avenues to secure it! I am applying wrinkle remover, moisturizing, and taking vitamins. I cannot afford a face lift... So started using a book and dvd called "Facial Fitness" to remove the wrinkes and tighten the skin. I even found a free hypnosis download called "Turning Back Time" to make myself look better! I will NOT go down without a fight! Time to get myself put back together in a presentable and pleasing way! Will keep you posted on the mole removal.... It was an added bonus to my new quest, and will be forever grateful for this site!

I attempted to remove 3 moles on my face using the method described on the site. The only thing I did differently was skip using an emory board. There was a little bit of broken skin (head of pin size) near one of the moles. This happened sometime during the procedure. Maybe taking a bandaid off, but I don't know. The area surrounding the broken skin turned brown within a matter of a few hours of contact with the acv. It stung. I took the band aid and Apple Cider Vinegar soaked cotton off immediately and rinsed with water. I quit the procedure. A few days later, I still have a very dark spot, and it is sore to the touch. I cannot tell if it is a scab or just a dark spot. The dark spot was ringed with a yellowish outline and I'm wondering if the broken skin somehow got infected. I'm wondering if this will heal or if the spot is permanent. Another mole I treated got "burned" on and around the mole. It scabbed and most of the scab has fallen off. The skin underneath is pink and I cannot tell if the mole is gone, but I suspect not. The other mole does not appear to be healing the same way, and I am worried. At this point, I'd take having the moles over having a disfiguring dark spot on the tip of my nose. Trying to be patient and not freak out. Can anyone help??

Why not continue with the Apple Cider Vinegar on a tiny spot of the darkened patch? You may be pleasantly surprised by the outcome!

After reading and watching everything on the net about home removal of moles I decided to embark on my own home experiment. I have three raised ones on the right side of my face near my ear. The more I read the more I realized my "moles" are not ordinary moles but sebborhic keratosis. I'm day 20 in on this experiment with ACV. Initially I just applied an ACV Q-tip on the moles a couple of times per day, but after about 10 days I started sleeping with an ACV soaked cotton bandaged to my face. This has definitely helped speed up the process. The SK is still there, but much flatter. During the day I've been applying a bit of castor oil mixed with baking soda to it. It leaves my face a bit gritty feeling but I didn't want to smell like ACV at work. The castor oil/baking soda seems to help soften it up.
I'm encouraged and will continue with this treatment, and wanted to share with the rest of you to encourage you to remain patient. Depending on the size of the mole or SK it's probably not going to clear up in just a few days.

So I'm trying out this apple cider vinegar treatment. I absolutely dislike the smell and taste of vinegar and unfortunately I have a small flat mole right under my nose that I've been wanting to get rid of for the longest time. I've been using a mixture of castor oil and baking soda for about 5 nights and its definitely reduced in size but its taking quite a while. Before I apply anything I put coconut oil on the area I'm treating just to make sure my skin is safe and moisturized. For the apple cider vinegar treatment I'm dabbing a q-tip in the vinegar and applying it on the mole only, doing my best not to get it on the surrounding area. I will continue doing this every 15 minutes or so. For people that don't have a lot of time on their hands, I think I would do this treatment at night while sleeping. Of course you're not going to wake up every 15 minutes though so results may be different. I will update on how this treatment goes, fingers crossed.

It's been a week since my first mole fled, and just a few days since the second one vanished. I only applied ACV about 4 different times, but each time I was spending about half an hour dabbing an ACV-soaked q-tip on my moles. I'm removing four moles of different sizes. The two that are completely gone were just a few mm high and the area is still pinkish.
The other moles were larger and needed more applications. One was on my hip and I just reduced the size of it instead of removing completely. I may go back and remove it but for now it's just a small flesh colour bump 3mm high, healed VERY well/fast. The 4th mole was an odd shape (none were cancerous) so I'm not sure yet if it's gone (some of it was flesh colour). For this one, I taped a cotton pad on it a couple times and the surrounding area was damaged (regret that). My method:
Dip q-tip in a little cup that has ACV. Dab with precision right in the center of the mole. Wipe away excess, but try to avoid applying excess. When the mole has dried up a minute or two later, dab again. Don't scratch the mole, but you can take the q-tip and rub slowly at the mole, allowing the mole pores to stretch and let the ACV in. When it comes away from the skin easily, stop applying any ACV and then Polysporin for the wound until it heals.

Hello everyone!! I love this site and I truly enjoy reading everyone's comments about their mole removal journey. I've had a small (3mm-4mm), flesh-colored mole above my lip for several years now. It causes me so much stress and, after reading this blog for awhile, I decided to give the ACV method a try last week. I roughed up my mole with a sterilized needle and surrounded the mole with Vaseline. Afterwards, I placed a Q-tip dipped in ACV on the site. Within several minutes, the mole had shriveled up and turned into a black scab. I left it alone for almost a week; however, I noticed that the skin around the mole site was red and raised. (it almost looks like I have a life saver around the scab). The scab came off to reveal a crater area, but the skin around it is still inflammed and red! Did I remove the whole mole or did I just doughnut punch the center of it? I have a crater, which looks worse now that the skin around it is still raised and red. Please help! Did anyone else experience this? I have been placing antibiotic ointment and Neosporin in the crater. Any advice would be much appreciated. I am so terrified that I ruined my face forever!

Ally and Jerry: I don't know whether this will help you, but I'll tell you what happened to me.
Years ago I got an injection in my hip. The area at the injection site developed a huge crater and it was there a very long time. My PCP couldn't advise me but ordered a biopsy that was "normal". I cannot recall how long it was there but I started to vigorously scrub over it with the towel after I showered. Once in awhile I would rub/massage the area with my fingers and eventually it filled in...I just assumed the stimulation helped regenerate the skin cells.
Since the areas are on your faces, I would suggest applying vitamin E (pierce the capsule) on the area after massaging and before you go to bed to help reduce scarring. Apply vitamin E before exposure to the sun. It would be best to use a small band aid to keep it covered. Taking vitamin E internally has also been reported to help reduce scarring.
I hope this works for you. :-) ~Kt~

Hi Sarah, I think roughing it up does help. My mole didn't turn into a scab until after I poked it with a needle, which I think helped the ACV get into the mole and scab quicker. As for your mole just changing back to normal after you take the ACV off, maybe you're not leaving it on long enough? Do you leave it on overnight? That is best.

I put a piece of cotton soaked in raw apple cider vinegar over the mole and put a bandaid over it. It was on for most of a day. The mole was small, maybe an eighth of an inch, raised a little, dark on top. The next day I scratched at the mole and it came right off. It's all healed now. The skin around the mole was unaffected. There was a little pink crater where the mole was, it's all healed now. Awesome. Thank you all who helped me.
I have two other moles I did the same thing to, but they are larger. They didn't come off right away, they are maybe a quarter of an inch, and raised. They have all been there for years. I'm allergic to the bandaid sticky stuff, so there is a red inflamed area where the sticky part touched my skin. I used just the sticky tabs on the other two moles and it made big red marks on my skin. One mole got pale looking, now it's like a scab, but red around it from the bandaid still. The other is like a scab, but it's black looking and still raised, and not red around it. I put the bandaids on them for three days or so. They all burned like people say. I'm waiting for the redness to go away so I can do it again using the whole bandaid, this time, instead.
I am very happy not having "stuff" on my face.

I've also removed a mole on my head, cheek and stomach. After 3-4 days of dabbing Apple Cider Vinegar it turned into a scab and fell off a week later. Now what's left is a pink mark and I was wondering how long it takes before fading back to my skin color?
Is anyone using any creams, oils, ointments to speed up the healing process? Thanks!

Hi there. If you keep the skin well hydrated with a healing oil like jojoba, goji, castor oil and even olive oil - this will help increase cellular turnover, which in turn will speed up healing. There'll be rather a lot of action at the wound site for months yet below the surface, so keep dabbing on the healing oil of your choice several times a day, and you will notice positive changes within a few weeks.

Use more the gel from an aloe plant; or rub in any of theses: olive oil, arnica cream, pomegranate oil, onion juice (or scar cream from the dollar store, made from onion), rose water, orange water.

ACV worked in getting rid of my moles, but there were scars from the scabbing process. I read reviews that aloe gel works in healing scars from moles.
I tried aloe plant to treat the scar, but not the scar from my mole, I tried it on my hand instead, and it stings.. the aloe.. so I washed it away because obviously it was not working. the next day I woke up with allergic reactions on my hand from the aloe.
I looked for products that are actually clinically tested, and there's this one gel, dermatix silicone gel, it definitely worked.. in about 2 weeks the scars are almost unnoticeable.

I just experimented on my face the apple cider vinegar technique. In the last couple years I have developed a lot of new moles and sun spots on my body. one has developed on my face . It actually looked like a freckle for the longest time before it started to raise. I put apple cider vinegar on it. I took gauze tape and cut a hole about the size of the mole and maybe a tiny bit smaller, (so the Apple Cider Vinegar would not damage my skin). Side note: did not think about this the first night and burned the skin around the mole but I started noticing it come off after the first application. After all of the mole was off, it looked as if maybe I had a big pimple that I had been picking at. It wasn't pretty or easy to cover with concealer. But I also believe it's all about the recovery.
Did some research, took a couple things from dr Christopher's website on skin healing and abrasions. It recommended the bone and tissue formula for healing the skin tissue as well as the bone and tissue salve. I didn't want to buy the salve online so I took some from the capsules, added it to a little olive oil and used that topically. I would leave that on for a couple hours, rinse it off, then put calendula gel on it for overnight. Every morning, I took a collagen supplement with a vitamin c. The area is almost healed and you would never have known there was a mole there. But like I said it's all about the recovery. It might seem like a lot but I was a little frightened after the first night and permanent scarring so I don't want to take any chances with it looking worse than before. FYI, went to the dermatologist and he said he would not be able to remove if and if he did the scarring would be worse than the mole, and also told me collagen supplements would be useless. I work in the natural health and food industry and I proved everything wrong that he had told me, not to mention saving a lot of money instead of going to a plastic surgeon. Hope this helps. Complete success on my end!!!

Dear Ashley,
If it were me, I would try coconut oil or castor oil on the mole and surrounding skin. Either (or both) should be soothing to the skin that is burned. Both have been reported to work on moles, it appears to take longer than the ACV. You could continue the ACV if you want, but be sure to put coconut oil or something on the skin around the mole before using the vinegar, to protect it. You might read the posts under moles where people used castor or coconut oil.
If you use the coconut oil, do use the cold pressed extra virgin stuff that smells like coconut. I think other processing will take out the things in it that are helpful.
Let us know how it goes!

Hello!! I am in the same situation... I have/had a mole on my face and I started using ACV on it and it is completely flat and has shrunk tremendously, now I have had this scab on for two days and I keep applying the ACV on it and still burns but I am not sure if it's burning my skin or the scab?? Would you suggest putting vitamin E on it to heal or continue the ACV??

**Mole UPDATE**
Hey guys its been just over a week now and both of the moles are now completly gone!!! I am actually shocked and amazed this has actually worked! So thank you guys!! I was scared at first as both the moles was on my face (one flat and one raised) I would say another week no1 would even know I even had any moles on my face!! (AMAZING!! )The flat mole was easier to come off and the raised one made the area around the mole very tender.
*TIP* As soon as the mole turns into a scab STOP USING THE ACV! Let them heal and fall off! And wash your face with clean water and avoid the face scrubs.
I am defo going to try this on more moles now!
I am in shock and know it 100% works!!! I can't wait to show all of my friends my moleless face!!

Hi, another suggestion to use for scarring would be Emu Oil, it hastens wound healing and less scar formation. It makes bruises disappear, so it will do the same to fresh scars. It works well as it goes thru several layers of the skin. They use it as a carrier oil for other medications for deeper layer effect. Apply Emu Oil liberally as often as you want. It also works as moisturizer..

I consulted with my mom and grandmother, and the agreed to the remedy, so now I started yesterday and today the mole is dark like everyone says it gets, it stings once in a while but thats okay. Its gotten flatter and I hope it will be gone before school starts. Thank you acv!!!!!! :)

I used the ACV method for removing a mole and it worked. At first I burned the skin around the mole a bit and then I started to use "corn, callus protectors", so that the ACV doesn't affect the skin around the mole. It's a great technique and I'll do it again for another mole.

Day 5 and all is going well!!! This really does work, I wish I had know about Apple Cider Vinegar as a mole removal before, most of the moles are gone, I had 3 that looked like there was some still in there so im continuing to use Apple Cider Vinegar and baking soda on them. The rest are healing nicely. I washed my face with antibacterial soap befor the treatment, where the mole were located it was impossible to get a band aid to stick so I after I roughed them up I dabbed them with Apple Cider Vinegar throught out the day and let air dry between apps. I am very pleased with the out come! The only thig is I wish I would have done it when I was out of work for a month, cuz it sure made me look awful with scabs all over the center of my face at work!!!!!! But I'm still glad they are gone now!
Trying castor oil on age spots now, today was first app on that hope it works as well as the Apple Cider Vinegar did on the moles!

I have started treating my mole with acv. My mole is black, slightly raised and on my chest...
So here's my daily review-:
Day 1-: I treated my mole with Apple Cider Vinegar 3times today... First I rubbed my mole with pumice stone for about 2mins... Then applied petroleum jelly near mole(not on the mole).. I applied Apple Cider Vinegar on the mole with the help of cotton and ear bud... It pained a little(which I think should be good)... I did it 2 times more the day.. hope it goes well and mole withers off..

I don't have a crater as some people described but it's just white skin where the mole was. It's a little tender but not much so now I am going to heal that mark and heal the surronding area that is still burnt from the ACV. I am so happy and pleased with my results. I would highly recommend to do this, I would just say be patient and don't give up. I will update if my mole comes back!! :)

I have removed 2 warts and 2 moles using ACV. I dip a very small piece of toliet paper/paper towel in ACV, put it on the localized area and hold it in place with a band aid. I re-soak and apply 2-3 times a day for about 1 week. The wart/mole will become black, turn into a scab and can be picked off. Always amazed...

I am going on vacation to Paris in a few days and I really wanted to get rid of this ugly mole right on the edge of my upper lip. It grew on my face when I was about 10 years old. It's about half a pencil eraser sized. Anyways, I tried removing it with ACV in 2009 by taping an ACV q-tip cotton ball onto the mole for about an hour. When I took off the tape, I had missed the mole almost completely and burned the skin surrounding it. I did get a piece of the mole with the ACV. The burned skin looked white and the mole turned darker and eventually scabbed over. I picked it off and I thought it was over. Unfortunately.. It came back as soon as the wound healed... This made me lose hope in ACV removing my mole and I began concealing the mole with make-up for the next 3 years. I about 5 days ago I tried ACV on my mole again.
This time, I soaked a q-tip with ACV but I did not tape it. I simply pressed it up to the mole for an hour every day and checked it every now and then to make sure I was only burning the mole. The first few days I did not see a real difference because my mole is already black and flat. On the third day the mole started getting rougher and seemed like it was turning into a slight crater. I applied it a few more times that day but it was burning a lot so I decided to stop. The next day it was a rough black scab, and then today I noticed a piece of the scab was falling off. I rubbed the mole with a q-tip (no acv) until the scab fell off and now my mole is gone!!! Incredible!!! :)

Yes!!!!! I registered for this site thanks to all of you who responded to this thread. I am gonna be 25, have had LOTS of moles since I was little... In high school I was so ashamed of my moles that I would wear long sleeves in the heat of the summer (in Vegas) and my hair down to cover the ones on arms and the one by my jaw bone. I had my son at age 21 and started really looking at my skin... The one by my jaw was about the size of a pea, and had started growing hideous hairs. That was the last straw. I talked to every doctor I could but they would not remove them, that's when I found you all!
I started the ACV treatment yesterday, twice a day I dabbed the moles for about 2-3 min (after roughing them up a bit) the stinging sensation I felt was almost welcomed as I was so hoping this would get rid of my moles! So at night I fastened cotton balls that were soaked in ACV to my body with bandaids. Today I woke up and the one that is on my arm (about 1/2 a cm) is completely flat. It is dark almost black and scabs up when I let it get air during the day... Same with the ones on my chest, there are 2 about the size of a pencil eraser! I was in total shock! I could not believe it was working!!! So here I am on night two of the ACV treatment with high hopes that by the end of next week most of em will be gone, including the hideous monstrosity on my jawbone by my left ear...
I really can't thank all of you enough. This is coming from someone who thought there was no hope of ever feeling "normal" to someone who doesn't even care about the scars it will leave as long as the yucky brown moles are gone!!! thank you so much!!
This treatment WORKS!! If you don't have success your not doing it right!! Thank you guys again!!!

Hi... I recently found this forum and read it thru. I tried ACV on several moles, and two skin tags.
I roughed up each one with a needle then held a soaked q-tip swab against them for 10-15 minutes. A flat mole on my chest was gone in 4 days. The skin tags were gone in a week.
Now I'm treating a huge mole on my neck. It's shrank to less than half it's size and half as high. I can see that it's starting to break up.
* With a swab, I can push in the center, and feel that its caving in.
I also tried using Duct Tape to remove them, but it didn't work for me. Too moist an enviornment to scab over.
I tried taping a cotton ball on the moles, and they always manage to slip and just burn the skin around the moles...
My best observation is that some moles take much longer to kill than others. The big one on my neck has been there at least 50-60 yrs... It's tougher. But it's dying.
The mole on my neck is right where the seat belt harness crosses the neck, and easy to irritate. Thanks everyone for you time and input. ACV has worked wonders.

Hey everyone! Listen... If you want to remove your moles than this is how I just did it for literally under five dollars!!!! I bouth apple cider vinegar and it was the safeway brand! I also bought iodine of tincture (safeway brand) this cost me just about 4 dollars and 50 cents. So what I did was like everyone else I soaked a cotton ball in ACV and taped it over the mole. I left it over night, and the next day it changed color to a mild blue which was kind of scary. (Keep in mind my mole was about the size of a pencil eraser, it was brown with black spots; perhaps atypical but with faith in God and lot's of research I decided to avoid medical bills and remove it myself! ) I had this mole for years mind you. Anyhow, I kept the ACV treatment going for three days and on the third day I noticed it was turning black and becoming flat. Also, I neglected to put vaseline around the surrounding skin so the ACV burned the surrounding skin so I stopped using the cotton swab and I began rubbing iodine around the irritated skin and dabbing the mole with ACV using a Q-tip. I did this for another two days so far I'm about a week into the treatment. Once the mole was completely flat, I began soaking the mole with a Iodine of tincture (safeway brand) and three solid days of doing this three times a day, the mole turned into a scab and today it FELL OFF!!!! AMEN!

I have had a raised mole on my chin for about 10 years now. It started out flat and then raised up to be a little bump. It wasn't that big but it was brown and in a place that I just didn't like especially because it wasn't always there, it sprang up in my early 20s. I decided I wanted to have it removed and asked the doctor about it. She suggested I go to a dermatologist to have it removed because it was on my face. The mole was not that large, but raised like I said... It was smaller than a split pea, maybe about half the size. I set up an appointment and in between that time my sister had 2 moles removed at a dermatologist and one left a large scar. I started to not want to do this. I went anyway and they told me that the mole was benign and that there was potential for it to scar if they removed it. They suggested I go to a plastic surgeon so I went. I have no insurance but even if I did this wouldn't be covered. They charged me over $100 to look at the mole and tell me nothing was wrong with it and then said to remove it would cost almost $500 and that it could leave a scar, the same thing the dermatologist told me. I decided to keep my mole and deal with it.
Then I came across this site. I figured I had nothing to lose, and I'm glad I tried it! I removed the mole in less than a week with Apple Cider Vinegar! I very lightly scratched the mole with a pin, not enough to break the skin though. I was sure to go around the bottom of the mole. I put a little vitamin a&d ointment around the mole and covered it with a small piece of cotton soaked in ACV and a bandaid. I didn't use organic ACV, just the store brand that I had in my cupboard. After the first night the mole was darker but seemed flatter. After the second night of treatment the mole was completely flat. By the third treatment it was a scab. I only did the treatment for 4 days, it might take longer if your mole is larger. After the mole turned into a very hard scab I stopped the ACV and began putting vitamin E oil on it during the day. I started the treatment on a saturday night and by Thursday the scab fell off leaving behind no trace of a mole, just pink skin.
It has been 10 days since the treatment and my chin is almost 100% healed. The skin is a bit dry in that area and a tiny bit pink but is easily covered by makeup and I'm sure it will be completely normal in about another week. I put the vitamin a & d ointment on it at night and this seems to help. This method works!

First of all, I've been using ACV for a while now as a facial toner after cleansing (diluted), in the laundry to soften towels and sweatshirts, etc. So when I got online to do some research for mole removal home remedies and found that ACV could help me, I was thrilled. I immediately went into the bathroom and roughed up a "pencil-eraser sized" raised mole I've had on my stomach that's made me incredible uncomfortable for years. I taped on an ACV-soaked piece of cotton. Did this several times, over and over again, and now, two-three weeks later, my mole is scabby but not gone. It got very sensitive to touch so I called off the ACV regimen, but started on another one. This one is located on my chin. I roughed it up very very gently because of the sensitive area, and bandaged on a piece of mole-sized cotton soaked in ACV. Wore that overnight. I dabbed it with an ACV-soaked cotton swab daily, while bandaging it with ACV-soaked cotton every night. I can't tell you the exact amount of time, but within probably a week, week and a half, my mole was a scab that was beginning to heal. Stupid me began to pick at it, not out of impatience but curiosity, I suppose, "IS THIS SCAB MY MOLE AND WHAT IS UNDERNEATH! ?" So naturally, it bled and left another scab. The scab since has come off and left me with a pretty smooth little scar which I suspect will fade within the year. My fiance couldn't believe it, and mentioned that I do the mole (flesh-colored, somewhat raised, smaller) on my nose. This one has always bothered me and has gotten more and more noticeable over time as had the one on my chin. When I wore make-up it looked as if I ALWAYS had a pimple on my nose--VERY sad since my skin has cleared up so beautifully since high school. So I couldn't help but rough it up just a bit, maybe ten seconds with the smoother side of an Emery board. I dabbed it with an ACV-soaked cotton swab several times a day, but for my first application (and once every couple of days), I held the cotton swab in place for as long as my arm would let me. For all moles tested, they turned white and then scabbed, etc.
I decided one night to sleep with a very tiny piece of ACV-soaked cotton bandaged on my nose. I began treatment on that mole probably 5 days ago and last night the last bit of scab fell off during my once-weekly exfoliation. I went up to my fiance and said "LOOK AT MY NOSE!! " and he was nearly speechless, couldn't believe that it was gone. I now have a very very small little crater with a little red scab, about the size of a ballpoint. This I feel assured will go away. The crater itself may remain just a little bit but I can tell you, IT'S BETTER THAN LOOKING LIKE I HAVE A PIMPLE ON MY NOSE ALL THE TIME!! :)
I want to begin treatment on other moles but want to see a doctor about a few of them first, they are a bit suspicious and potentially pre-cancerous because of their shapes, colors, etc. I am also going to restart ACV therapy on the first mole on my stomach now that the sensitivity and irritation has subsided. I am probably going to wear an ACV-soaked cotton ball taped to the area every other night and apply ACV 2-3x during the day. If anyone wants their moles gone without a large expense, try this! ACV does wonders for your body, inside and out, and also around the house. Love it!!

YES! It officially breathed it's last breath 3 days ago! There is a very thin scab on it now, but the hole it left has already filled in nicely! I apply neosporin to it a few times a day. I think it would have gone much faster if I had kept it bandaged.... But being on the rim of my nostril it was almost impossible to keep it covered without looking like a zombie and I had to run the grandkids around. If I had only known how quickly and cheaply I could have removed this 50 years ago, it would have saved me a lot of anguish! I feel like I have a new lease on life! Lol Now I am tackeling a few others!!!! This is the best site I have ever run into, and I love that we can talk to each other about the "process"! It looked pretty ugly for a few days... But I just kept it up and now I am "moleless"!

Since the area behind your ear is swollen and appears to have changed color around the edge, as well as crusted, from my own experience, see your physician (or dermotologist) and get checked out for skin cancer. I had a tiny sore on my face that turned out to be skin cancer. I am totally fine years later after Mohs surgery. I hope it's nothing but you can't play around with cancer. I use natural treatments whenever possible - and always will; but if you need it I recommend Mohs surgery, as the most effective painless option if it is cancer. If not, keep trying the ACV, it's amazing. Good luck.

Apple cider vinegar did not work for my moles. I have many moles, mostly flat ones that blend in with my freckles, but the three raised moles on my stomach and chest were prominent, gross, and had to go. I was very hopeful, too, as I want to spend this summer in a bikini instead of my usual tankini or one-piece (yes, I'm that self-conscious about my moles). Seeing all of the success that other people had with apple cider vinegar, I decided to try it myself. I bought organic, unfiltered ACV (5% diluted) and began the routine application of roughing up the surface and then applying ACV to the mole; I did this every twelve hours, leaving a band-aid with a bit of ACV on it to cover the mole.In the first few days, I didn't notice any difference, other than mild irritation.
On the third day, the moles began to swell, and I thought, “Yes, some results! ” I may have celebrated too early. On the fourth day, the moles had swollen still, about twice their original sizes, and they were incredibly painful to the touch. Each application of ACV was a nightmare - it felt like I was dabbing on hot coals. But I was determined, maybe a little hard-headed. I was sure that, with so many others achieving success, that it was only a matter of time before my moles gave up the fight and fell off.
On the fifth day, my moles were swollen to three times (no exaggeration! ) their original sizes and blistered all over! I had to take OTC pain relievers all day, and couldn't sleep on my stomach at night. On the sixth day, the blisters burst with pus, the swelling pushed the skin to the limit, and the moles split open and bled. And if you've ever nicked a mole before, you'll know those suckers bleed so much, you'd think they had their own little hearts! I don't think I have to tell you that it didn't tickle. I called it quits.
After another few days of pain and at the first signs of infection, I went to the doctor. It turns out I gave myself second-degree chemical burns on my moles (thankfully, careful application of the ACV spared the surrounding skin). The moles had to be cut out, which is what I wanted to avoid in the first place, except I could have spared myself a week of torture! If ACV works for you, great (although I'm sending every bit of jealousy I have your way), but beware if you start to have a reaction like mine. I think I'll leave any future mole removals to a doctor from now on.

I had a small mole on my face that suddenly grew large as a pencil eraser and unsightly. I applied ACV with a q-tip to it for about 20 minutes per evening while I read a book. I also scratched the surface of the mole to make the ACV more accessible to it. Dried, crusty layers of the mole came off until eventually, with continued treatment, it was completely gone. The process of applying ACV lasted about eight days. Amazingly, when the last of the mole came off there was no scarring whatsoever. It looks like I never had a mole that had been on my face for as long as I could remember. Yea!
