Apple Cider Vinegar for Moles:

I did this for a small clear mole on the bridge of my nose. Worked perfectly with no burning, but I used vaseline around it. I'm trying it now with a larger, skin toned mole in the crease of my nose. This one is taking longer, on day two and still not crusting up. It's starting to get a little dry but that's it. Since this one is larger and clearly has a root, I think it will take longer.

So I need help. I have had this mole under my arm for 15 years, it is about the size of a pencil eraser that is located in my armpit and I found the idea about ACV. So I have been soaking a cotton ball and putting it on the mole and it has been about two weeks. However it only becomes white on parts of it and when I take the ACV off it just got back to normal. I have not "roughed it up", because now everytime I put on the ACV it stings for awhile. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to try and rough it up? It is hard with the position of the mole. Any suggestions?

Hi Sarah, I think roughing it up does help. My mole didn't turn into a scab until after I poked it with a needle, which I think helped the ACV get into the mole and scab quicker. As for your mole just changing back to normal after you take the ACV off, maybe you're not leaving it on long enough? Do you leave it on overnight? That is best.

I put a piece of cotton soaked in raw apple cider vinegar over the mole and put a bandaid over it. It was on for most of a day. The mole was small, maybe an eighth of an inch, raised a little, dark on top. The next day I scratched at the mole and it came right off. It's all healed now. The skin around the mole was unaffected. There was a little pink crater where the mole was, it's all healed now. Awesome. Thank you all who helped me.

I have two other moles I did the same thing to, but they are larger. They didn't come off right away, they are maybe a quarter of an inch, and raised. They have all been there for years. I'm allergic to the bandaid sticky stuff, so there is a red inflamed area where the sticky part touched my skin. I used just the sticky tabs on the other two moles and it made big red marks on my skin. One mole got pale looking, now it's like a scab, but red around it from the bandaid still. The other is like a scab, but it's black looking and still raised, and not red around it. I put the bandaids on them for three days or so. They all burned like people say. I'm waiting for the redness to go away so I can do it again using the whole bandaid, this time, instead.

I am very happy not having "stuff" on my face.

Hey Anon! Thank you so much for your post! I am so sorry to bother you, but I recently tried this method to remove a small (3mm) flesh colored mole above my lip. I scratched up the mole with a sterilized needle, applied Vaseline around the site, then applied a q-tip dipped in Bragg's ACV to the mole. The mole instantly shriveled up and turned into a scab. I was so excited to see it literally dissolve before my eyes. Several days later, the scab came off and much to my dismay I have been left with a small crater (still continuing to scab) and red, raised skin/inflammed around the crater. I am so nervous that I have destroyed my face forever! Did you experience irritated/raised inflammed skin around your crater? How long did it take the crater to fill in? What does your scar look like now? Thank you so much for all of your help!

Danny, To remove moles, did you dab ACV undiluted or diluted with water? Also, was it an organic, virgin ACV, with the "mother, " as they say? Thanks, Larry

The brand I used is Allen's Pure Apple Cider Vinegar.

so I guess it's pure Apple Cider Vinegar lol. Works well but hoping the healing process can move quicker

As you said that it came out in pieces. Does that mean the top part dried up and came off, then the lower part and so on?
As I am doing the same for one on my face, it's quite big too, so just the top part dried up and came off and the lower part became kind of light in color but is only dried up from the middle. So did it happen like this with you?

I started using the ACV treatment method to a fairly large mole on my face after reading all the positive things about it, plus I have nothing to lose if it doesn't. My mole is raised and near the corner of my mouth. It's about the size of the end of a cotton bud (Q tip) so fairly large and extremely annoying. I'm now on day 3 and it has black patches on it, some that's heading towards black and some that still needs working on, it does now seem to have shrunk a little bit which was starting to worry me as it had been swollen. I'm currently doing the over night cotton ball taped to it with breathable surgical tape and working a cotton bud around 3 times during the day so it can air, I believe the air is actually helping. I also use vaseline right around the skin which is protecting it so far. Has anyone else experienced this with their mole? I'm guessing that it's not turned entirely black as the mole isn't able to be constantly covered during the night due to the shape. Does it need to go all black?

I shall carry on as it's feeling very crisp. The look of it doesn't worry me to much as I have had this sucker for 36 years so am used to people looking. I think my expectations have lengthened regarding how long it will take too so I'm not feeling so worried about its progress.....at least it is progressing! :)

BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS

I started using ACV to rid my face of a mole 3 days ago. I did use Vaseline around the area but I was very aggressive with the treatment since I'm going out of town next week. I kept a cotton ball soaked in ACV for pretty much a night and most of the next day. I really wanted this gone within 10 days, or at least gone enough that make up could cover. I have some pretty bad burns around where the mole was. The 'mole' is now very, very small and dark black so I think it worked on that, but my poor face around it :( I put aloe on it last night and I do believe it's helped. Is there anything else I can do to possibly speed up the healing of the burn? I think I'm more concerned about that getting better by next week than what's left of my mole. I do have sensitive skin I suppose...darn fair skin that comes with the red hair!

I just experimented on my face the apple cider vinegar technique. In the last couple years I have developed a lot of new moles and sun spots on my body. one has developed on my face . It actually looked like a freckle for the longest time before it started to raise. I put apple cider vinegar on it. I took gauze tape and cut a hole about the size of the mole and maybe a tiny bit smaller, (so the Apple Cider Vinegar would not damage my skin). Side note: did not think about this the first night and burned the skin around the mole but I started noticing it come off after the first application. After all of the mole was off, it looked as if maybe I had a big pimple that I had been picking at. It wasn't pretty or easy to cover with concealer. But I also believe it's all about the recovery.

Did some research, took a couple things from dr Christopher's website on skin healing and abrasions. It recommended the bone and tissue formula for healing the skin tissue as well as the bone and tissue salve. I didn't want to buy the salve online so I took some from the capsules, added it to a little olive oil and used that topically. I would leave that on for a couple hours, rinse it off, then put calendula gel on it for overnight. Every morning, I took a collagen supplement with a vitamin c. The area is almost healed and you would never have known there was a mole there. But like I said it's all about the recovery. It might seem like a lot but I was a little frightened after the first night and permanent scarring so I don't want to take any chances with it looking worse than before. FYI, went to the dermatologist and he said he would not be able to remove if and if he did the scarring would be worse than the mole, and also told me collagen supplements would be useless. I work in the natural health and food industry and I proved everything wrong that he had told me, not to mention saving a lot of money instead of going to a plastic surgeon. Hope this helps. Complete success on my end!!!

Should I be patient for the scabbing over? because I haven't seen any yet! And I'm afraid to use more because of the burning around my mole! PLEASE HELP! I'm afraid I ruined my face :''''(

Dear Ashley,

If it were me, I would try coconut oil or castor oil on the mole and surrounding skin. Either (or both) should be soothing to the skin that is burned. Both have been reported to work on moles, it appears to take longer than the ACV. You could continue the ACV if you want, but be sure to put coconut oil or something on the skin around the mole before using the vinegar, to protect it. You might read the posts under moles where people used castor or coconut oil.

If you use the coconut oil, do use the cold pressed extra virgin stuff that smells like coconut. I think other processing will take out the things in it that are helpful.

Let us know how it goes!

I've been looking remove a mole on my bottom that's about 2 inches big and dark nasty looking I've been really insecure about this mole for 24 yrs!!! So I started the remedy on the 28th of October and now I'm on my 5th day and it really hurts and its red all around but it seems to be working the dark pigment seems to be falling off but today I put Vaseline on the mole since it was a bit irritated. I would not put vaseline on it as vaseline is made from petrolatum (petroleum jelly). Maybe put on some olive oil, coconut oil, vitamin e oil.

Vanessa,

I am thrilled to hear about someone else using the ACV on a larger mole. Mine is about the size of a nickle, raised, and on by face by the hairline. I've had it forever and when I went to a dermatologist for removal, he said it was not cancerous, that he had to check all my skin since I have generations of skin cancer in the family, and then he said he wouldn't remove it. I needed to make a second appointment and pay cash since insurance would not cover the removal. Needless to say, I didn't go back. So, tonight I am trying the ACV. Was going to try the iodine until I read all the positive ACV results. Will let you know how it goes if I can find my way back to this site. :)

I've had it since birth and now we went our seperate ways for good! :) Im only left with a red patch but it's healing I've been using Tea Tree Oil to reduce the redness and from scaring! But I highly recommend this remedy if you dont want to burn a hole in your pocket I litterally spend $15 on the Apple Cider Vinegar vasaline cotton medical tape and the Tea Tree oil! I strongly recommend to put vasaline around the mole so the skin around it wont get irritated! Good Luck!! I love this site! :)

Hey I have been using ACV on 2 moles on my face and today is day 5! I have been using a qtip and dipping it into ACV then putting it on my moles until it hurts. Now both the moles have scabed up and one is actually half coming off my face? I really want to pick it off but I know if I do it will scar what do you recommend and shall I continue using ACV or shall I let them heal up on there own now??

**Mole UPDATE**

Hey guys its been just over a week now and both of the moles are now completly gone!!! I am actually shocked and amazed this has actually worked! So thank you guys!! I was scared at first as both the moles was on my face (one flat and one raised) I would say another week no1 would even know I even had any moles on my face!! (AMAZING!! )The flat mole was easier to come off and the raised one made the area around the mole very tender.

*TIP* As soon as the mole turns into a scab STOP USING THE ACV! Let them heal and fall off! And wash your face with clean water and avoid the face scrubs.

I am defo going to try this on more moles now!

I am in shock and know it 100% works!!! I can't wait to show all of my friends my moleless face!!

Thanks Earth Clinic X

WARNING!

Well having read these apple cider vinegar for moles posts, I decided to take some moles off my back and face. The one on my back came off with no scar and completely removed the mole. The one on my face has left me with a large red scar the same size as the mole, it is ever so slightly raised and I have tried, coconut oil, silicone gel, and a few others to try and get rid of it, could anyone give me any advice on getting rid of it. I think we should be wary telling people the ACV way because it can scar, as I am living proof and I am a guy who is now having to wear makeup to save myself any discomfort :(

Scars are always red at first, then fade to pale. if you can't wait for the scar to heal, there are otc cream medications that work exceptionallly well.

Hi, another suggestion to use for scarring would be Emu Oil, it hastens wound healing and less scar formation. It makes bruises disappear, so it will do the same to fresh scars. It works well as it goes thru several layers of the skin. They use it as a carrier oil for other medications for deeper layer effect. Apply Emu Oil liberally as often as you want. It also works as moisturizer..

Check out the pharmacy. They now make a gel-like dressing that is supposed to minimize scars. I think it has collegen or something in it and is supposed to be good for new scars.

Although this is difficult on your face, try to minimize sun exposure. Getting a sunburn on a scar or on the healing area can cause it to keloid, which is to raise and become hard. This happened to me about a year after I had some surgery where they removed skin from my arm. Thought it was all healed, sat out in the sun and got a tan, but the doner site burned and turned keloid on me.

You can also massage it with an oil to slowly, over time, break down the scaring, to make it flatter. About 50 years ago they recommended cocoa butter, but probably any oil will work.

The redness will be there for a while, but will eventually fade.

Hi Chris, has the scar disappeared? I used ACV on a mole on my face and have a horrible scar that's causing me more anxiety than the original mole. If so, what did you use?

I'm using aloe vera gel as the scar is a bit sore - looks like an open wound, and needs to heal over. I'm thinking of using turmeric powder mixed with yoghurt after it has healed. I have olive skin, and would appreciate any advice to make this scar go away.

Look into using a derma stamp. It got rid of a red tca burn I got after treating moles. You stamp every 5-6 weeks and after 4 or 5 sessions the red mark should be gone.

Apple Cider Vinegar for mole removal: So far it has been about 2 weeks and the mole has not returned and the Apple Cider Vinegar actually worked on a mole that I had right below my nose that was slightly raised. It took about 8 days to remove the whole thing due to the fact that after day 4 the mole came off but there was still a piece of it left so I continued treatment. To avoid burning of the skin I put pieces of bandaid all around the mole than roughed up the mole with a plastic toothpick and than slept with a cotton ball soaked in Apple Cider Vinegar overnight. So far after 2 weeks, the skin's just redder where the mole was which really cannot be avoided.

Hi everyone. I need some help, please! I just started the vinegar. Treatment today.

Here is my question. My mole, on my back had a pimple beneath it and I popped it. The pimple never went away but reduced a tiny bit. The mole hurts a lil and has been this way for months maybe a year. I have lots of moles. I have a feeling this might get cancerous. My question is can the vinegar treat the cancer at all?

Apple Cider Vinegar
Posted by Acv Man (Trenton, Mi) on 07/17/2013

It works just keep putting a dab on it everyday till it turns black and then it will turn into a scab then after that its gone. But first you have to get the tip of the mole irritated and about to bleed and you can do it by rubbing with a pin or even your finger nail or what ever, but when you put the ACV on it should sting, if it does not sting then you didn't ruff up the mole to good, it has to sting to work and that tells you the ACV got inside of it.

I've always had moles, but they were smallish and "normal, " looked like big freckles. With age, and a later in life pregnancy, and lack of time in the sun (as compared to my younger days), a mole on my back had turned massive. The docs checked it out and declared it, "not likely cancerous, " and wanted to cut it off me. Horror stories concerning said doctor remedies abound and kept me from pursuing it.

About six months ago my huge back mole started itching and became a constant companion up against my bra. I also had a small, flat, dark mole on my shin that had begun to change (slightly) and grow. After researching home/natural remedies, I was not surprised to learn about ACV as I used it to cure 20 years of worsening allergies (4 years free! ).

I did not "scratch" the mole on my back, it was difficult enough just to get a bandaid on it due to its position, and the fact I'm not a contortionist by trade... lol! Enlisting the help of my 7 year old daughter, I was able to soak a folded piece of cotton (to size of mole) in ACV and apply a waterproof bandaid for 6-12 hours a day for 5 days.

By the 5th day, the mole on my back was virtually gone, just a slight bump (from much bigger than a pencil eraser sticking out! ) and redness. The bandaids (or removing them) irritated my skin but the ACV did not burn it.

The mole on my leg behaved strangely. First it darkened and spread, then it lightened, then I screwed up and royally burnt the skin around it, then it started to scab and now a couple weeks later it is still healing and scabbed. Due to the burn I stopped the ACV (also tried melealeuca oil for the burn, burned it worse! ) and healed up the surrounding skin with colloidal silver cleansings and an over the counter wound balm.

Results after five days of ACV: LARGE protruding mole on back GONE! Leg still healing and if it turns out the mole didn't totally disappear when the scab does, I'll be giving it another try (after protecting the skin surrounding it! ).

Thanks earthclinic! You saved me a few hundred bucks and a pit of a scar!

Hi there. I believe in the power of ACV, but like you, I have this doggone mole on my shin and it is giving me a run for my money. I was wondering if you had luck in the end with yours?

Mine, I've treated with ACV a few times, but am trying (diligently) again. I was able to rough it up and scab over the middle. The very center of it peeled away, but the outer portion of it remains. It's a little sore (I think from the ACV). To touch, it feels like one of those pimples you get deep under your skin.

It's symmetrical, not getting bigger. Can't even remember when it appeared but it did out of the blue. Just an eye-sore.

My mole scabbed over and fell off so I started to apply healing remedies, but after about three weeks the mole has grown back but is slightly more faded. Should I apply more ACV and start the whole process again?
