The herb called Chanca Piedra which means stone breaker worked to get rid of my father's kidney stones. When he went to his Dr. Appt after using the herb, they found no kidney stones.

I was troubled for over two months with pain and loss of sleep before I passed this LARGE stone! My urologist told me to take Flomax 2 times a day and I kept drinking water all day but I could not rid myself of this stone!

I started drinking 2 ounces of fresh squeezed lemon juice, 2 ounces of extra virgin olive oil and 2 tablespoons of organic ACV twice a day and in a couple of days it popped out! What a relief!

The long and short of it: had to pull my car over driving home from work and call 911 because I was suddenly stricken with a pain which felt like a super nova going off in my lower left back and lower left groin. After CAT scan, a 4mm stone was the culprit. Put on Ketorolac (10 mg) for pain, which was effective for the most part. Drank water until it was coming out of my ears -not a water drinker. However, after 4 days of not passing the little bugger, I was ready for a natural approach;

Lemon juice, olive oil (EVIRG, ) and Apple Cider Vinegar. I started with 1/4 of a cup of each all blended together, and it didn't taste horrible-like salad dressing-and I continued to drink slightly less than my original dose, 3 times a day, morning, afternoon, and night. Meanwhile, my church offered up prayer for my situation Sunday morning 6 days after the initial onslaught.

By 5 PM that evening, I felt a weird sensation as I went to urinate (through the strainer) and, POP! Out shot the miserable little bugger, shaped like a shark's tooth! Moral of the story: God is the author and finisher of our lives. Was my faith in Him, combined with prayers of the faithful, enough to resolve this ordeal? Was it time for the drink concoction to get the job done? I'll never know for sure, but I know which way I'm leaning. 48 hours after starting the drink therapy, it was over by God's grace and mercy.

Thank you all so much for your remedies. I had an unrelated surgery 2 yrs ago and since then I have suffered with excruciating bladder pain. I was diagnosed with cystitis and prescribed wiv medication. Then I had problems with my bladder, getting up all hours of the night, so I was then prescribed medication (oxybutyin) to control my bladder, meanwhile the pain was getting worse.

I stopped going out, spent everyday in and out of my bathroom. Not anymore. I tried the apple cider vinegar, lemon juice and olive oil, not the most enjoyable concoction to drink, am on day 5 and the difference is amazing I am pain free and can sleep undisturbed for the first time in 2yrs, I'm definitely telling everyone to try this. It REALLY DOES WORK. Thanks again x

Lemon juice olive oil and apple cider vinegar...please try it. I got on this forum because I hate doctors and I really couldn't afford it at the time. This remedy kept popping up so I figured I should at least try it. I also bought Chanka Piedra but I never had to take it. This was my second time really dealing with kidney stones. The first time, it passed after three very agonizing months. About 4 months after I had my baby (which I heard is quite common for women who get stones) I began to feel the pain one day. I then urinated blood for a couple days. Once that cleared up by drinking tons of water, I had a few attacks so bad I had to get someone come watch my little one all day while I lay in bed. After about a month of sleepless nights sitting up in bed on a heating pad and popping Advil, I started researching. I ended up making my own concoction of the juice from 1 lemon, 1 large tablespoon of brags apple cider vinegar and (all I had) 2 tablespoons of plain olive oil. At first I had to take it like 4-5 times a day. The pain actually went away for a couple Hours, like 20 minutes after I drank it.

Within two weeks I noticed a sand-like substance in the toilet so from what I read I was very hopeful this was my kidney stone. I was skeptical but I was having to drink less and less of this concoction to relieve the pain so I had to believe it was working. After about two weeks there was no more pain. There were a couple of days when I was drinking it often that my stomach was very upset because of the ACV, but don't give up. I'm assuming my stone was pretty large because it hadn't even passed into my urethra yet. I seriously thought I might keel over a couple of times and I had an all natural home birth months before this, so I am familiar with pain. I still drink the mixture once a week to ward off future stones and so far so good. I hope this helps at least someone:)

My 20 year old very healthy athlete college daughter got a kidney stone a few weeks ago. The first week we did not understand what was going on. I think her symptoms were rare until further on. She texted from school mid-morning one day that she very suddenly could hardly move, was super fatigued, found it difficult to lift her arms, open doors, climb stairs, etc. I advised her to go to the ER as our family has history of blood clots and I thought perhaps that... Her creatinine level was slightly elevated, but no one put two and two together. They suggested dehydration and a virus. No fever or any other symptoms, but she felt like she had the flu in terms of fatigue only. After a few days she came home for a brief winter break and we got her in to see primary and also endocrinologist. More blood tests, but no ideas. (I now believe the kidney stone likely lodged at the exit and blocked or inhibited function, but wasn't in the ureter to be painful yet - who knows?)

A full week had passed and she got ready to return to school on a Monday morning, but woke up with a horrible pain in left side and began vomiting, not stopping until I finally gave her ondansetron (prescription for nausea). She calmed down, slept, went back to school. We first thought food poisoning. In any event, she got little sleep that night for pain and nausea, went to classes the next day, then saw the school nurse, who suggested ulcer. Found herself in ER again that night (Tues.) with bawling pain, and was more quickly and accurately diagnosed with kidney stone, 4mm at about 6 inches up. They gave Toradol shot, which helped immensely. Sent home with prescrip pain meds, Flomax and told her to drink a gallon of water a day. Most days after that she dealt with debilitating nausea and missed classes for several days. That Fri the xray showed stone at 1-2 inches up and the ultrasound tech said she doubted my daughter would be able to pass the stone. Doing a web search I came across earthclinic and read for two hours about results from some homeopathic treatments. I had a friend of hers get to a health food store and pick up organic lemon juice, organic apple juice, extra virgin cold pressed olive oil, and a kidney stone break up pill. She began taking more of the lemon juice with her water, did the oil and lemon juice (2 TBSP total combo) once a day - could not tolerate the oil as burped it up all day, and began the pills. I don't think she did much apple juice. Another factor was constipation - Dr. said from the stone more likely b/c she wasn't taking the pain med. She ended up using suppository, which seemed violent, on Sunday. Her Dr. was in communication with her over the weekend and was talking surgery on Monday. Whatever worked from Sat to Mon morning, she had no nausea waking up Mon morning and could return to classes, though still had some fatigue. I suspect one of the remedies worked and popped the stone down into bladder.

On Wed - two days later, she kept mentioning urgency to pee, which is normal when drinking a gallon a day, but I also knew could be stone in bladder. She passed stone late afternoon without further pain. SOOOO thrilled to have come across this site and my daughter, once they test her stone, is going to find out how to maintain, as they've said she has more stones in both kidneys. We have no doubt these methods were worth the try. Only wish I'd thought of searching for health methods earlier! She did not even do the oil mixture full out, but between that, the lemon juice and the kidney stone break up pills (perhaps even the suppository force! ), she is doing great. Thank you to all who post!!!! (Her diet is filled with nuts, spinach, sweet potatoes, etc. - thinking she eats too healthy - guessing her stones might be from too many oxalates?) ER told her to eat more carbs, less protein. We'll see.

I am a 58 year old male who just got my first kidney stone last Tuesday. I have never experienced so much pain. I went to the er for 6 hrs. They found a kidney stone 2cc. I drank 10 glasses of water a day but to no help on passing the stone.

This morning I read replies on this site and took 2oz of olive oil, and 2oz of lemon juice. 2 hours later I took 2oz of apple cider vinegar. 3hrs. later the stone came out. I have been in pain for almost a week. I hope this can help others.

I woke up today at 9AM with the tell-tale signs of an oncoming kidney stone attack. By 3:20PM I passed a kidney stone the size of a peppercorn (not sure how many mm's that is).

This is what I did from the onset: I took 2x 200mg generic Ibuprofen (aka Motrin) with a glass of water right away; then I squeezed the juice of 4 smallish lemons onto a gallon of filtered water that I already had on hand (our local tap water has lots of calcium); then I mixed 2 oz. Of olive oil and 2 oz. Of organic apple cider vinegar (that thankfully I already had these items) and drank it with my nose pinched (chase it with some lemon water to kill the taste because all that oil made me nauseous); then I ran myself a hot bath to warm up and relax the mucles in the kidney region so that they might let the stone through easier - for 20 minutes (ICING THE AREA DOES NOT WORK... I learned that the hard way from last time); then I went to bed, dressed warmly, in a warm room, with a hot water bottle propped against my right kidney; I had gallon of lemon water and more pain pills (just in case) by my bed; I sipped about a cup of lemon water before falling asleep; I slept till about noon; when I got up, I kept replacing hot water bottle with more hot water, keeping it agaist the right kidney keeping it warm; at the same time I continued to drink lemon water and urinating into a container, checking for stones. On the third trip to the bathroom (about half gallon of water has been drunk by this time) at about 3:20PM, I felt a sharp prick along with my urine flow at the "exit point" of the urethra (right where the urine exits the body). The stone was out! Now I will have it analyzed by my doctor.

Hopefully this helps others because it was a total opposite to my last experience 2 years ago, where I was writhing on the floor in pain, throwing up, and asking God for mercy, ending up in the emergency room, with little sympathy, 2 morphine shots and a bill for over $4 grand!!

Right now, I am in high spirits, have no need for any more pain pills, I will continue to use the hot water bottle and will continue to drink the rest of my lemon water till the end of today. And I will probably not eat anything today just to give the kidneys a rest.

Hope this helps others!
