i just have to say that this site is awesome! i found it in a search for cures with turmeric and saw the acv cures. i hate taking any sort of aspirin or whatever so this was a great find, and let me just say that the acv and honey cure was awesome for a headache that was lurking me. i took maybe about 1/8 cup of acv, mixed in a bit of honey and water, downed that and i felt so awesome that i even made it to my step class. thank you so much for this info!

For the past year, I have been suffering from severe headaches, my heart would beat extremely fast just from standing up, and dizziness. I knew that it was serious when my head was hurting so bad one day that I went to lie down and woke up almost 15 hours later. I found this website while looking for a cure for gout for someone else. I sent them the information and then began to read the other parts of this site. After my reading, I wrote out a list and I went to the health food store immediately after work. I have been taking the mixture of the water with ACV, liquid garlic, cayenne pepper and blackstrap molasses for a week now. For the first time in a year, I am feeling so much better. My heart rate has slowed. My headaches are gone. I am using the bathroom on a regular basis now and I am not sleepy all of the time. I am also taking multi-vitamins. Thank you for this wonderful website!

Yes, it is true... ACV is really the cure-all. I would recommend it for anyone. I'm currently completing my B.S. in human nutrition and let me tell you that when I'm a Registered Dietitian I will be telling all of my patients about this miracle. I have had bad migraines all my life and recently started taking ACV with a couple packets of splenda and lemon juice mixed with a cup of hot water. Also, sodium bicarbonate is optional if you want to protect the enamel on your teeth and make it carbonated too! This concoction takes away the migraine every time, almost instantly. I take it 2-3 times a day and it really helps. It also keeps skin clear, suppresses your appetite and aids in weight loss. There are many other reasons why I take ACV... if you want to know more, read Earl Mindell's "The amazing Apple Cider Vinegar". I love ACV!

EC: Glad to hear ACV is helping your migraines! You might want to read up on the side effects of Splenda though.. Here is our page on the subject.

have only recently strated to get headaches at all -- but yesterday i got a doozie. I have been suffering for two days now and not feeling safe to leave the house as i somewhat dizzy. Came upon this site and look in the fridge for ACV (I know I used to have it -- must have thrown it out as it had been there so long. Anyhow low and behold I had a half a bottle of organic dry apple cider that I purchased on a wine tour on Vancouver Island. I had just opened it this week when I had a friend over for supper. I thought what the hell give it a try - low and behold I feel a significant releaf from the pain. It may not have to be the vinigar varity who knows Thanks!

Yes, you take the Apple Juice, ACV and Honey together. Add them together, mix it, then drink it. You will be a firm believer in this, trust me!

You give 1/4 as the measurements for the ACV and honey but 1/4 as in tablespoon or what measurement please. I am at the point where I will try just about anything to stop this constant pain. I want to get back to life again. Thank you so much.

Wow, I can't believe this worked so well! The ACV helped my ease my severe headache and eye pain. I felt much better in about a half-hour after taking the mix. Works!

I have been taking a grocery store brand of ACV for a week now. I take 2-3 tbl spoons twice a day. Once in the morning and once in the evening. It has taken my daily headaches completely away, my skin is softer, and just when I thought it wasn't helping my weight, I put on a pair of jeans that I hadn't worn in a week, and they were loose! I've been pulling them up all day! I do want to suggest to definitely get the organic kind of ACV. I believe that it will work even better than the grocery store brand. I'm going to get some today. The only side effect so far is constipation. I hope by changing to the organic ACV that that will help.

ACV is amazing. My teenage daughter suffered from a constant migraine headache that started in January 2008 as a complication of mono. It never subsided. She was hospitalized for it, which helped and tried different migraine medications, which didn't help. My brother suggested giving her honey so I googled it and found this website. I read all the feedback about ACV and, in desperation, tried 2 tablespoons honey, 2 tablespoons ACV and 8 oz of water. She's been taking it 3 times a day for 2 weeks and her headache is practically gone. I probably wouldn't believe it if it hadn't happened to us. I'm a true believer now.

I just wanted to give yet another testimonial for ACV and headache. I woke up with a killer of a headache and had the standard two tablespoons of ACV, about 1 tablespoon of honey, in 8 ounces of cold water. I finally learned to stir in the honey, before the water, which dissolves it much faster. The headache subsided, but it took a second dose to take it away, and it stayed away. I also think that it is very important to use the organic, raw, unfiltered ACV. I have come to really enjoy this mixture as it tastes almost like apple cider with a little' zing, and know that it helpful for much more than headaches. My family just went through a tough cold and I did not catch it. I attribute it to my almost daily use of ACV.

I used to be prone to constant urinary infections to the point I no longer felt them. One time it had got so bad I actually felt the severest of symptoms. At the time no medical insurance and no money to go to a doctor. So I emailed a friend who had a huge book on herbs and natural remedies. He researched for me and found if I took a bath with apple cider vinegar it would eliminate the urinary infection because the urethra acts as a wick and draws the high ph into the bladder. Well I had no bathtub and no access to one. So we devised this plan. I would take a cotton ball and soak it in apple cider vinegar and place it on my urethra for twenty min three to four times a day. The skin would burn and it did hurt alot. But I persisted. I woke up the next day and had no symptoms at all. I continued to use the acv for three more days. Since then I have not had another attack of urinary infection.

Years before I forgot to mention this. A neighbor told me about acv and honey as a remedy for headaches depression arthritis pain help and lowering cholesterol and high blood pressure. Well i suffered from all of these symptoms. I asked how much to take. She said she took two tablespoons each of acv and honey in enough hot water to melt the honey and drank it down half an hour before she ate. I did the same. The first week I lost ten pounds of excess water weight due to bad diet of too much salt. I sweated alot and peed alot. I lost a total of forty pounds. I had visited my doc before I started and thirty days after. He was amazed at the weight loss and asked how I did it. I told him and he said oh. he wasn't concerned at the amount in that short of a time. I should have been. It is dangerous to lose too much weight in a short amount of time. But I believe in my case it was extreme excess water weight. My cholesterol dropped from 256 to 156 in six months. My blood pressure was below normal and I couldn't gain weight. So acv and honey is my magic remedy. My kids would see me taking the acv and honey for my migraines. They wanted to try it for their headaches. Well after the first time they used it they didn't want tylenol anymore. Ever. To this day they are teenagers they remember it is instant and keeps the headaches away.

I have laxed in my daily regimen of acv and honey and have gained back the weight and the blood pressure. i am going to start it again. Anyways. Thank you for your time in reading its benefits to me. Hugs to you.

Read all the messages on your site about headaches as i had a bad one for over 24 hours, but having liver disease, am reluctant to use aspirin, as it is not a terribly good for the liver, but the only thing that has ever worked for me; and then only in combination with a nap.Read the letters about apple cider vinegar cures, but was highly sceptical, to say the least. However, as I had a botle in the house, decided to try it. Used 8 oz of water, 2 tablespoons of vinegar and 2 tbls of honey and drank it. Then I also did the technique of heating 1/2 water and vinegar: making a tent with towel and inhaling this, as i really didn't think either would help, but I was desparate for the pain to stop. Intended to also take a np, but hubby came home early so was not able to. In about an hour, I realised that my headache of 24 hours was GONE!!! Am no longer sceptical and so very grateful for this new knowledge! Thank you guys very much

I am 49 years old and have suffered with very severe headaches since I was a young girl. I have tried many medications and remedies, but this simple and inexpensive thing can relieve the pain, sometimes within minutes. Bring a small saucepan of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar. Make a "tent" with a bath towel over your head and breathe in the vapors, deeply and slowly. (If it makes you cough, cut back on the vinegar.) A few minutes of doing this will cure most headaches as well as pills or shots.

I originally bought organic Apple Cider Vinegar for my skin because I keep getting cystic acne and there is literally nothing I can do externally to help because they never come to a head (gross I know) so, after using it everyday morning and night, it hasn't helped with anything! And my skin is now very dry and smells like vinegar... Which frankly is disgusting in my opinion. Now, I'm having a terrible headache and looked to earth clinic to find a solution and drank 1/4 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar straight, which is also pretty disgusting... And nothing. I don't understand why I don't see any results from this????

I would like to know exact measurements and how often you take this. Is this 1/4 cup of ACV and honey together with the apple juice? How often do you take it? Thank you very much.

I would be interested in the dosage of this. I have had headaches for over 15 years and have not yet found anything to help. I've been doing 2 tablespoon vinegar and 2 tablespoon of honey in 8 oz of water, for a couple days and this has not helped me yet. How long does this take to be effective?

I have been using ACV for sometime now, along with other things off and on. However, ACV has been my staple for my allergies. Until recently, it has been working. Now, I seem to get headaches that really do not go away. Except when I talk over the count products that take the edge off. Most time my headaches come with weather changes, but sometimes I think it is a food that I ate because the weather is fine. I am allergies to wheat, soy, and corn (and maybe more). Any suggestions on what I can do? Should I drink ACV non-stop? I have been taking more zinc when I think it could be a cold... I just don't know. What do I do?

The apple cider vinegar is a miracle cure for sinuses. I came down with a nasty respiratory virus the week before Christmas, 2006 that got into my sinuses, which were already irritated by allergies. After two rounds of antibiotics, loads of over the counter drugs and several weeks of terrible headaches and congested sinuses, I found this site in desperation. I had been suffering for four days from an awful headache that would only go away with 800 mg. Advil. I hate taking anything, but the thought of taking that everyday was really getting to me. I took my first shot of ACV around 4 p.m. My head opened up immediately and by 6 p.m., my headache and all the congestion was completely gone. By the next day, I felt great...better than I had in weeks and I slept better than I had in a long time. I had a small amount of congestion the following day that cleared immediately when I took the ACV. Since then, I've been taking 2 tbsp. with a little baking soda in about 8 oz. of spring water 3x per day. I'm planning to keep going too. I'm hoping to see some of the other benefits people talk about here, but this stuff is nothing short of amazing when it comes to sinus problems. Thank the Lord for this relief. I've been spreading the good news to everyone!

Hi Randy from Jersey City, and thanks for the suggestions. Tapering down really isn't an option unless I can get my doctor to approve a refill--which so far she hasn't done--so I was sort of forced to go cold turkey! If I can get a refill I will follow the schedule you have suggested.
