As I look in the 'supplement' section, I see no mention of either Boswellia or Curcumin. After very serious reactions to more than one prescription and otc medication, I find I need something without any possible side effects for my peripheral neuropathy. I've tried Neurontin and Gabapentin, both with bad results. I've tried Celebrex and Aleve, again with serious side effects. During a search for something natural, I found the "Boswellia / Curcumin" combination, and thought it might be worth a try. If memory serves me correctly, Boswellia is from the bark of an tree from India, and Curcumin is found in Turmeric. Previously I had tried Boswellia by itself. It worked but not as well as I thought it should. Then I found this combination of the two. My wife and I have both been taking it for some time now, with NO harmful side effects. It seems to be building up in my body, as things seem to improve a little more all the time. I also give one to my dog every day, for his arthritis.

Believe it or not, when I told my doctor about it, she asked me where to get, because she didn't like her husband taking the chemical alternatives. I gave her a bottle for him to try, and she now has him taking it every day with good results.

I take it for my peripheral neuropathy, as well as arthritis. It is very inexpensive in comparison to even otc pain 'maskers', and there are no side effects. The pains in my feet are gone, though I do still have the numbness. For the arthritis, I have much better range of motion in my shoulder as well as much less pain in my hips. My wife also has much less pain in her hips and knees, and can now walk much farther without 'feelin' it. And even my dog has much more spring in his step, and now pesters me to go for a walk every day.

Swanson Vitamin has it for $4 for a bottle of 60, and you only need to take one a day.

Hi. How can I use boswelia in its original state? I have boswelia as small stones yellow. How to use whether chewing it or can I consumer it?

You can chew it although I would rather put in hot water with honey like tea. You also can melt into a carrier oil and use topically.
