Baking Soda, Blackstrap Molasses, Astaxanthin

The pre-surgery physician said they were low-grade cancer.
He was scheduled for surgery in three and a half weeks. During this time, I introduced the following into his routine:
-
Baking Soda and Molasses: One teaspoon of baking soda mixed with one teaspoon of molasses in water, taken twice a day. I read about anecdotal accounts online where this combination seemed helpful for some people. We stirred it well but didn't heat it, as recommended in some protocols.
-
Astaxanthin: 20 mg daily. This is a powerful antioxidant that gives lobsters their red color. I had read about a potential connection between inflammation and tumors and thought it might support his overall health.
Fast forward to the day of the surgery—when the surgeon went in, to his surprise, the tumors were completely gone. I wasn't sure what to make of it but was relieved.
When I asked the surgeon what might have caused them to disappear, he speculated that the tumors may have been inflammation, as inflammation and cancer can look similar. However, he couldn't explain how the inflammation resolved itself.
Whether they were cancer or inflammation, I don't know for certain. What I do know is that inflammation has been linked to the development of tumors, and addressing it might be an important factor. Did the baking soda or the astaxanthin help? It's hard to say. It's possible that one or both played a role.
For now, I plan to keep him on baking soda (likely without molasses and at a slightly reduced amount, twice a day) and astaxanthin as part of his routine. I'll monitor his progress and report back over time.
