Cataract Surgery Recovery Remedies
I had cataract surgery on my left eye six months ago; my eye still a little bit inflamed. I have been seeing the ophthalmologist every other week, the doctor has been prescribing eye drops, but they are not helping. Can you kindly tell me what can I use to stop the inflammation.
Thanks a lot, Victoria
I have cataracts in Both of my eyes and my eyes do be red and I don't like when people ask me if I been dtinking or smoking and I dont smoke, but I do have a drink or two but that's it. And even when I yawn my eyes turn glassy and red thats my reason for looking online to see how to reverse it. They are small but I was looking online and it says I can put castore oil in my eye. I got some organic castor oil hexane free cold pressed the psalmist from the hertiage store. Is that good to put in my eyes. If I can put it in my eyes how many times a day can I put it in my eyes and exactly how to put it in my eyes meaning do I put it on the pupil or on the corner of my eyes do I close my eye and rub it in or just blink a few times.
DMSO, Glutathione, Vitamin C
As all know, I am SJS, and should have been taking a supplement to help prevent this from happening at all. I will be smart in the next life if I don't come back as a goat. Tests have shown that your aging eye gets depleted of Glutathione and that is the main substance in the eye drop formula that you recommend. My wife's anti- aging doctor put her on NAC supplement because she was low on Glutathione and NAC is the precussor. I now do compounded Gluthathione via a nebulizer, but that's too late for my eyes.
All I read from the natural folks is that it's the free radicals which get you as you age and your natural anti-oxidant , Glutathione, goes down. You can build that back with the NAC supplement , or expensive I.V.'s or inhaling the compound via a nebulizer. I am now convinced that Glutathione is a big deal for folks as they age. Thank you or others, who can shed some light on the topic of Glutathione eye drops to cure cataracts.

1 ml of water equals 1 gram. To make 2 percent solution one for 100 mg in water, there would need to be 2 mg of substance added to the water.
Technically, one would need to adjust density of water to account for colloidal solution so one could eye ball it. I don't think it would need to be exact.
I don't have any financial interest in the product but I do think that the cataract terminator is still a good price for people who don't want to muck with the do it yourself stuff so many will prefer the already made solution. One may also need to buy a machine to make the colloidal silver. Also something to measure small amounts and the bottle. Given the varying economic, time and other situations of people, the more options one has the better.

I don't think I have cataracts yet but I'd rather be proactive. Plus it seems to cure a broad spectrum of eye problems and could produce crystal clear vision over time.

Also, there are 6 areas that some companies say are important related to putting something on your eyeball. I value knowing facts. I value learning from what anyone knows about these items (so I can understand and choose the right castor oil for my eyes). Thank You. Here they are:
1. Organic
2. Hexane-free
3. Sterile
4. Ozone treated
5. Cold-pressed
6. Pharmaceutical quality
I want to be educated and anything you can share would be MOST appreciated. Thank you, Paul Michael

I told them at that time that I felt that I was able to see better without my glasses than with them except for reading fine print in dim light, or for driving at night with the glare of oncoming headlights. The results of that examination were unnerving. My vision was certified at 20/30 left eye, 20/40 right eye, which of course was satisfactory for purposes of the DMV, but the doctor also told me I had cataracts in both eyes and after more definitive eye examination, they may want to discuss cataract surgery with me along with an updated prescription for new bifocals.
So on August 31st I went in for the "more definitive" eye examination. The result of these tests was 20/20 vision in both eyes and no evidence of cataracts! The doctors asked me what I had been doing differently.
I told them I had been taking a new supplement called NAC 600, primarily for my heart condition, but more recently I had been experimenting with 2 drops of pharmaceutical grade Castor Oil in each eye at bedtime each night for the month of August. Their jaws dropped. The doctors were incredulous. They said they had never, ever heard of using castor oil for the eyes before. They said cataracts are not reversible except by surgical procedure.
I told them I found the research on castor oil and NAC on the internet, at various natural medicine web sites. They took notes and entered the information into my VA medical records. They told me no eye glasses need be prescribed since my vision was now 20/20. My eye pressure was about the same as it has been for the past year or so, validating the decision last October to take me off glaucoma prescription eye drops. While a little on the high end (26 left eye, 29 right eye), it appeared to be stabilized, so as far as they were concerned, I was no longer on the glaucoma suspect category that I have been on for the past 20 or so years. And while cataract surgery is the most frequently practiced surgical procedure in America today, it appears at least for the time being that I have successfully avoided cataract surgery by using that three thousand year old remedy known as Castor Oil. The doctor's want to track my eye health with follow up testing and have set up appointments for further eye exams going forward. I'm sure that I am now the "talk" of the VA eye clinic.
So, while my eyes are still a mite cloudy sometimes and when doing close reading of fine print in dim light I need reading glasses, it seems that I am now back to 20/20 vision after less than one month of castor oil eye drops! After all these years (more than two decades! ) on the glaucoma suspect list and a driver's license requiring eye glasses for driving. I will now get back to the doctors to ask for re-certification to get the eye glasses requirement off my driver's license.
Now I am continuing the castor oil application nightly for the present. But I have also continued my research and have developed a new treatment after reading about the anti-oxidant supplement N-acetyl carnosine (NAC eye drops) which, in the eye drop form, are reputed to protect the eyes against glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts, and are prescribed by many practicing ophthmologists today.
I am also watching my "liver spots" on the backs of my hands disappear with nightly castor oil massages.
I credit the Budwig Protocol of flaxseed oil and cottage cheese, with fresh-ground flax seeds, in combination with the Castor Oil, with all of my health improvements - renewed vigor, vitality, and vision health.
After several years of FO/CC I noticed my eye sight was progressively improving, and that in general I could see better without than with eyeglasses. I had no way of discerning whether my vision was improving or whether I just needed a new eye glass prescription.
But when the doctor discontinued my glaucoma eye drops last October, I credit the flaxseed oil and cottage cheese regimen. I credit FO/CC in combination with the Castor Oil drops with the reversal of my deteriorating vision and beginnings of cataracts.
The doctors just smile and say very little.

Carnosine for Cataracts
By Katina Blue, eHow Contributor
Carnosine for Cataracts - Carnosine in eye drop form is effective for treating cataracts.
Every eye has a lens that is similar to the lens of a camera. The lens helps with vision clarity, and it aids in focusing on objects. Cataracts is a condition that causes cloudiness to develop in an eye lens. It can cause impaired vision and blindness if untreated. Although surgery is generally used to treat cataracts, carnosine eye drops are effective for reversing this condition.
History
In 1987, Dr. Alan Babizhayev, a Russian researcher, and his colleagues were the first to propose L-carnosine, a form of carnosine, as a possible treatment for cataracts. They developed N-acetylcarnosine eye drops to treat the condition. After the drops were used in human and animal clinical trials, positive results were documented. Since then, other research studies have been done on carnosine's effects on cataracts.
Description
Carnosine is a molecule composed of two amino acids, alanine and histidine. It is a natural antioxidant found in several tissues of the body, including heart muscle, skeletal muscle and the brain. Low levels of a certain type of carnosine are also naturally produced in your eyes. Carnosine is generally administered in eye drop form to treat cataracts. In addition to treating cataracts, carnosine is used to treat ulcers, reverse aging and heal wounds.
Function
When a buildup of protein forms on an eye's lens, abnormal clumps develop, causing a cataract to form. The clumps of protein cause the opaque appearance of a cataract affected eye. Carnosine stops the formation of these clumps and helps to dissolve the cataract. It also prevents glycation, a chemical process that interferes with cell function by causing a reaction between blood sugars and proteins in the lenses of our eyes.
Side Effects
As of 2010, there are no documented side effects to using carnosine. When used in very high doses, some short-term effects of it are drowsiness and shallow sleep. Although no major side effects have been reported, watch for any reactions after use and report any abnormalities to your physician.
Effectiveness
Various studies done on humans and animals show that carnosine effectively dissolves cataracts over time. According to Dr. Babizhayev, when a group of cataract patients was treated with carnosine eye drops, 41. 5 percent showed a significant improvement in vision clarity and 88. 9 percent improved in regard to sensitivity and glare. These patients were studied over 24 months and the effectiveness was sustained during that time.
