Still no chest pain. I was able to climb several flights of stairs in my office yesterday, carrying a heavy box of stuff without feeling like I'm gonna pass out any minute. Daily intake of ACV really helps!

I never thought to try the Apple Cider Vinegar, will have to try it. Do any of these stop angina pain right away? I was recommended angina home remedies that work fast include putting your feet on the ground helps but I didn't see it in this article. Also does fish oil help lower plaque in arteries really? Thanks for the article.

Apple Cider Vinegar, Lugol's Iodine
★★★★★
Yesterday morning I started him on ACV in a glass with 8 oz of water with 2 Tablespoons of ACV (organic w mother). I told him to take 2 swallows and in another 2 hours take 2 more, etc. till it was gone. Then I brought him a shot glass with a tablespoon or 2 of water and put one drop of Lugol's 5% iodine into that, and told him to take this if he experienced pain, and see what happened. He said, "How much pain?" I said "Well, ok, ANY pain, " and he picked it up and swigged it down.
As of today at 4 pm now, he has had no more pains and even started doing his exercises again, which he had stopped because that was what set off the pains several days ago. I will keep giving him the ACV every day and see how it goes. If it comes back, I will try Lugol's again.

OK, 4 days later: The 7/18 remedy I posted gave my dad a couple of days pain-free, but the pain came back again. Now I have him supplied with the 2 T ACV in 8 oz of water every 2 hours around the clock (at least while he is naturally awake, or gets up to pee or something like that). I added potassium chloride back into his diet (he had stopped using it as a salt substitute over a year ago because it has a diuretic effect for him and he dislikes that, but it is essential in order to keep the heart muscles from being destroyed, according to Adelle Davis in “Let's Eat Right to Keep Fit” (get yrself copies of all her books: used, they are cheap - mostly filled with good stuff except for her old-fashioned ideas about vegetable oils, which you should disregard). So I THINK the regular potassium chloride use will now resolve things. In the meantime, the lineup of remedies to try goes like this: Be taking the ACV in water, as above, and using potassium chloride (I don't know, at least 1/8 to 1/4 tsp per day) regularly. If you have a pain crisis: Take 4 vitamin E capsules (400 IU d-alpha-tocopherol) and chew them up to get the contents right away (you can spit out the gel-capsules). If that does not do it, the next thing is the hawthorn — note that you should be taking dried extract capsules, 500 mg twice a day on a regular basis for heart and circulatory health, so if you are having a pain crisis get out up to 6 capsules and open them and put the contents into a cup, mix in some warm water a little at a time (abt 1/3 cup) and pour in some tincture of hawthorn — about 1/3 of a 4-oz bottle should do it, and stir up the contents. Drink it over about 10 minutes. This often took care of the pain for my dad. If that does not do it, I would add taking a few drops of Lugol's iodine in 3-5 T of water, swigged down. Still any pain left? Take a pinch of potassium chloride (or 1/8 tsp if you have not yet started adding it regularly into your diet, which you should do). OK, hoping for the best for everyone...

Some of these amounts seem pretty high.
2 T. of vinegar every two hours....and the 1/3 of a 4 ounce bottle of hawthorn are way more than a normal dose for a person (even a person in crisis) and the elderly generally need smaller amounts of a remedy.

Another 4 days gone by: his heart is so much improved, it is a big relief. Reply to Yvonne: The ACV is not 2 T every 2 hours, but 2 T in 8 oz of water, and he takes TWO SWALLOWS from that every couple of hours or so (sorry about accidentally leaving out that important info). Maybe we could cut it back to 1 T in 8 oz of water by now. But the dose of hawthorn extract is by many trials and errors over the last few years, starting out with much smaller amounts but I had to increase it when they no longer effected a full pain relief (believe me I was reluctant to use any more of those expensive tinctures than necessary). I ALSO want to elaborate that I have stripped fats from his diet for now (with occasional trials of a little olive oil or one egg yolk, with questionable results -- he had some slight heart issues the following day, so I remain cautious at this point), and I have recently been upping his lecithin (non-GMO from sunflower seeds only) intake. He does take fish oil every day and eats sardines, which have some fat in them even canned in water. Lots of vegetables, rice, beans, oatmeal, fruit -- and potassium chloride, plus a large assortment of vitamins and minerals twice a day. He used to love the heavy use of mayo etc and fried crispy stuff (who wouldn't if we could get away with it?)

Follow Joe Vials instructions to replace the potassium chloride deficiency for your entire life and you will be fine. It is a ton of potassium chloride that you are deficient in but the good news is that it is cheap.
EC: Important! Those with the following medical conditions should NOT take Potassium Chloride:
"Absence of Urine Formation, Myotonia Congenita, Hyporeninemic Hypoaldosteronism, Complete Heart Block, Severe Heart Block, Compression of the Esophagus, Stomach or Intestinal Ulcer, Stomach Muscle Paralysis and Decreased Function, Stomach or Intestine Blockage, Severe Renal Impairment, Severe Burn, Inflammation of the Epiglottis, Problems with Food Passing Through the Esophagus, Addison's Disease, Excess Body Acid, Acute Dehydration, High Amount of Potassium in the Blood, Familial Hyperkalemic Periodic Paralysis, High Amount of Chloride in the Blood"

I am suspicious of the reply above in response to my december 31,2016 post about to ns of potassium chloride. It is a figure of speech.
Instead of reading the article by Joe Vialls, warnings are listed of conditions that I can't even pronouce, so that no one can possibly know when this is dangerous. How can it be dangerous to take what the body needs?
Joe Vialls said that we need 3000 - 4000 mgs of potassium chloride each day and we don't get even close to that. What he did was to calculate how many mgs he was deficient from way back and determined that he had to take some 100,000 mgs plus to overcome that deficiency. I forget at what point in his replenishment his angina pain began to subside, but it cured it nevertheless.
Here is what he said: Proper scientists agree the daily potassium requirements of an average adult lie between 3,200 and 4,100 milligrams, but the average potassium intake of Americans through the food chain is only 1,500 to 2,100 milligrams per day, representing an overall average shortfall of 1,850 milligrams.
Question to Earth Clinic: How can it be that we shouldn't take this vital nutrient that our body needs 3000 mgs to 4000 mgs per day and we only get 1,500 to 2,100? You say the source Is Webmd Is Webmd fake news in some instances perhaps? That list says that unless you go to visit a doctor to eliminate all of those conditions, one should not dare take potassium chloride. Isn't that what it is saying?

Patricia,
You said, "warnings are listed of conditions that I can't even pronounce, so that no one can possibly know when this is dangerous. How can it be dangerous to take what the body needs?"
If you do not know or understand anything about these conditions, how can YOU question the unsuitability of potassium chloride for them?
Potassium is an electrolyte. Getting the wrong balance of any electrolyte can be dangerous and even life threatening. And it is true that those with kidney disease need to be careful about potassium intake (as well as sodium and protein.)
You also say, "How can it be dangerous to take what the body needs?"
Regulars on Earth Clinic know that everyone is different! Some here take blackstrap molasses religiously and others can't take it at all.
The dose makes the poison. Even on normal minerals and nutrients, everyone is not the same. Medical conditions, nutrition and medications can affects the body's needs. Why take offense that Earth Clinic would give a warning? People need to do their research and figure out if a remedy is appropriate for them. You can read all kinds of reader submitted side effects for practically every remedy on this site.

I am trying to find out who the author is of the above list you quoted about who should not take potassium chloride. I don't see any author listed on the link. It is just present as information on the WebMd site. Can you help me find it? Thank you.
I am concerned that there is a lot of fake information out there to prevent people taking their health into their own hands. I myself have no physician and have managed to stay healthy during my lifetime except for getting a diagnosis of basal cell carcinoma on my forehead from a biopsy and then declining the doctor's $15,000 surgery for a dime size skin carcinoma and paid 49$ for a salve to remove it. That was 2001. I know earth clinic is being careful . I don' t recall or remember seeing any lists of diseases that should not use a particular remedy.
I personally used potassium chloride to remove a slight 2 second duration of increased beating of the heart once every month or so. After reading Joe Vialls article I bought it from Now brand to take and that quick beating only came back after I stopped taking it for a while. So, I recently purchased chloride in bulk frin and have resumed taking it again. The heart's short spurt of increased beating (symptom) has disappeared again. I take 1/4 tsp plus one pinch in juice. 4 times I figure is enough to make up the 3 to 4000 mgs per day. I have not been consistent because I have not found a source of organic orange juice in which to take it. I have also added jacketed potatoes as they are purported to have 1000mgs potassium per day.
You have to understand that drugs is a huge business that needs continued flow of the sick to keep the stock growing and to pay for the huge outlay for each heart drug such as those for the symptoms of angina mentioned in Joe Vialls article. The symptoms happen to be the same for potassium chloride deficiency. There is much disinformation out there. I don't mean any disrespect to you but we have to somehow root out the d is information put out to help the drug companies so we will use their drug for angina and not a cheap remedy such as potassium chloride. If there is no author taking responsibility for that list, then we should seek him or her out for verification. Isn't that prudent?
I read somewhere that pottasium or potassium chloride or a form of it is used extensively in emergency rooms when certain symptoms appear such as heart attack. The hospital does not first check to see if the stricken has any of the diseases on that list. They use it and suffer the consequences of doing it. If anyone has that article about what things are used in the emergency room, I think it would be great to get it posted.
Happy New Year to those at Earthclinic.com

Thank you for this info about another kitchen remedy. I was feeling, unusual for me, distressing discomfort in my heart and chest wall, probably due to work and family stress and... I also accidentally drank real coffee (two cups! ) and I'm a decaf person. I was so anxious and frankly scared, and went to earth clinic. I tried ACV and then, voila: the cayenne pepper. the recipe of 1/8 of a tsp in warm water and before I knew it the pain and anxiety was gone and now I'm back to feeling I belong in the land of the living. Thank you so much!

Get the book Left for Dead by Dick Quinn. Cayenne Pepper along with garlic, hawthorn and ginger open and clean the arteries.... And keep them open. Read this before getting any tests. Whatever you do don't get one of those rediculous stents put in..... More trouble down the road.

Cayenne, opens all the small arteries, and is a blood thinner, i'm pretty sure after taking a bit everyday for the last year it, clears up the lungs, because everything gets oxygenated. thats along with garlic. I can keep up with non smokers without any trouble, where pre cayenne I was definiatly feeling the lack of wind. Consider it along with ginger, and ACV.

The cayenne pepper is definitely causing the problem to go away, not just hiding it!! I will never take nitroglycerine again (that 5-hour migraine is horrible! ). And either the ground cayenne in tea or directly in the tip of the nose (intense but effective) or cayenne extract will work much faster than the nitroglycerine! 10/10 recommend!

Cayenne Pepper works! Whenever I get stressed out; my jaw, stomach, upper back, the left side of my chest and left arm starts to hurt. I googled the symptoms and saw that it was a sign of Angina so when I got home I took one pill then laid down and the pain went away within a half hour. I take a pill each day along with my other vitamins and I haven't had another episode since.

Kathy: Homemade cayenne capsules work well BUT we found out that it causes stomach upset if taken outside meals. So now we know it should only be consumed during or right after a meal.
Also, lower the amount you are taking. If you are taking only one capsule, fill it up to half of what you did before. Remember: take it only with or right after meals.
As regards to cayenne burning, it is best to purchase the Cayenne/Ginger caps so as to alleviate the this prob.

I have to disagree with Matt. I tried all of that (listed above from my previous note) and I no longer have chest pains. Actually I have came across some information that makes it not permanent. I forgot where exactly I found it but some of it I got it from Kevin Treadau's book. Arteries can be unclogged. Again, this is just my opinion...all I can say is that it worked for me. No more chest pains.

A good friend of mine was not conscripted into the army because of his bad heart condition. He learned about cayenne very early and would use it as a daily supplement and whenever he felt he was about to have an attack.
Hate to tell you Doctors, but this man died at a good young age of 96. He was baking bread himself till he died. He outlived his wife who was in good health. Don't see too many old guys in his shape. He was also a vegetarian.

Vinny,
If it is as you say, there is no more pain. Than as a small test go for either a long walk, or a short jog to see how it goes. No pain, than you're probably right.
That is how I tell if I'm improving. For me at this point, just starting the Cayenne Pepper, it would be a short walk of about 200 yards... lol that's all I'd need to know I'm getting better.

Concerning the pain on left side/ chest to left armpit. Of course this may very well be the heart. Don't take chances. Go to ER now.
Seriously, don't take a chance. You need EKG ... could be critical any time.
I don't mean to alarm you but really consider getting assurances this is not a heart issue.
I had an employee in my office suddenly develop tacky skin and became a bit disoriented. In thirty minutes we got him to ER and determined he was having a heart attack...So....the point is, take no chances.

All over the Internet there are lots of fear messages written by Medical Doctors telling you that A) you are in big trouble, B) you are having a heart attack, C) you already have a serious cardio-vascular disease, and D) talk to a doctor.
All right, go ahead and talk to a doctor, if the talk makes you feel better.
However, do watch out. MDs know very little or nothing about foods, food choices, food combinations, digestion and indigestion. They will never tell you that your angina is one of the many symptoms of INDIGESTION.
According to U.S. National Library of Medicine, indigestion after eating can occur for several reasons, including eating too quickly, or eating a high-fat meal.
Example: Yesterday night I had angina after eating a combination of 3 raw egg yolks, 500 grams of raw green peas, and 250 grams of butter.
Why? Because it was a high-fat meal. And because raw green peas are hard to digest. An because butter is hard to digest. And because the combination of yolks, AND green peas, AND butter, is especially hard to digest.
In sharp contrast, tonight I had no angina after eating a combination of 125 grams of cooked sardines and 8 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.
Why? Because the combination of cooked sardines and olive oil is relatively easy to digest.
I hope this will help somebody!

Last night before I finally fell asleep, I took everything I could think of for gas or heart conditions, this included cayenne pepper and baking soda. When I woke up the pinching pain was still there and so was I, thank God. I was praying that nothing would pop loose. It was now about 12:30 a.m. just a little after midnight. I took Nattokinase 40
00 fibrinolytic units on an empty stomach. Two hours passed but the pinch in the chest refuse to budge. I thought about Potassium, Magnesium and Vitamin C and D, but I had tried them all yesterday. So, I decided to fix an Emergen-C Electrolyte pack. The pain faded away and was gone in five minutes and I went back to sleep. Praise the Lord! And I still feel great.
