★★★☆☆

The apple cider vinegar treatment was ineffective for me. I've had a chronic cough off and on for seven years that no doctor has been able to treat. I found this site recently and started taking 2 tablespoons of ACV mixed with 1-2 teaspoons of honey and about 1/4 cup of warm water, three times a day. It's been over a week now and there's been no improvement in my cough, unfortunately. I'm giving ACV three stars only because I don't mind the taste and it seemed to help reduce some phlegm, at least for a few days.

My new doctor thinks this is a neuropathic cough and wants me to take a bunch of supplements (probiotics, magnesium, multivitamin, digestive enzymes) and possibly Gabapentin, which has shown some promise for helping chronic coughs.

WORKED TEMPORARILY

I seem to manufacture mucus-- a lot. The drainage never stops. It has been this way for a couple of years. I do get relief with ACV, but if I stop taking it, the cough returns. ANY ideas, help, advice-- PLEASE.
