I was noticing that EC has a limited selection of remedies when it comes to Chronic Pelvic Pain (CPP). I was just reading the following abstract which suggests that melatonin may be a viable remedy for CPP as discussed here :
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC12002473/
Here is a relevant quote from the human study :
' Additionally, melatonin significantly reduced chronic pelvic pain, with a large effect size (p < 0.001, η² = 0.18, Cohen's d = 0.93). '
They used 5 mg of oral melatonin for two months to good effect in the above study for CPP. Another option might be the use of melatonin gel (MG) applied topically to the painful area. Here is a description of how to make MG here :
https://www.earthclinic.com/supplements/melatonin-gel.html
Or Melatonin Lotion here :
https://www.earthclinic.com/supplements/melatonin-lotion.html
This information seems fairly important as CPP is relatively common, affecting one in seven women in the US alone.

Dear Sholanda,
I hope that the Apple Cider Vinegar worked for your pain!
Castor Oil Packs or Charcoal Poultices may be of help to you.
Cayenne Pepper, internally, may be helpful, too. 1/2 teaspoon in some juice. Repeat in an hour or two. It is very spicy and I drink it with a straw. I used this once to reduce heavy bleeding during a miscarriage and was surprised to find that it helped me greatly with the pain.
I hope you find something to help you soon.

I also suffer from chronic pelvic pain. Pain medications no longer work. It doesn't matter if it is prescription or over-the-counter. Nothing works. The pain is intense, that at times, I have to get on all fours, rock back and forth, and breathe as if I am having a baby. I am just seeing that drinking diluted apple cider vinegar with baking soda helps with the pain. I am going to try it, and pray that it works.

I have almost constant pain in the pelvic area. My physician had a sonogram done but could find nothing to cause it. I am also going to a holistic doctor who is working on it with chiropractic treatments - it gets better, but then kicks in again if I walk very much or eat sugary foods. I am 77 years old and weigh about 300 lbs., which I have weighed for about 40 years - the weight will not come off and stay off. I've been on so many diets that I had to have gallbladder surgery which I know was caused by the dieting. Other than that, I am in good health. But it is so painful to walk much and I need to move the body while I still can. Any ideas about an herbal treatment for this?
