Type in your computer "non smoker diagnosed with emphysema " It will give you information about " Alpha - 1 antitrypsin deficiency " or just check on google. There is no cure but infusions of prolastin can slow its progress dramatically, especially if you catch it early. Many Pulmonologists, amazingly, are unaware of this genetic condition.
