Doctor said she was about to order surgery for my diabetic retinopathy after monitoring me for a few weeks. I put cayenne residue in them and they stopped bleeding. It's been 2 years and still no surgery. I put it in every once in a while but I don't get feedback from doctors. They just don't know what to do with me. It hurts for a couple of minutes but then it's fine. Wish I had someone to work with me, would give me peace of mind. I'm told one day I'll wake up and be blind.
EC: Hi Grma, can you please explain what you mean by cayenne residue? Did you make an eye wash with cayenne powder and distilled water and strain off the powder in a cheesecloth, for example? Please include measurements and recipe if DIY. Thanks.

I used a cayenne eyewash, periodically, over the course of a couple of months with no side effects other than the clearing up of pink eye. That was years ago but it is my understanding that it can't hurt you. Well, it smarts for a bit but doesn't do any damage, nevertheless, I didn't do it every single day during that time. Though I DID drink a teaspoon in a shot of water everyday for several months before, with no side effects other than the disappearance of hemorrhoids but I didn't have any illness at the time so...I presume there would have been healing effects had I had issues during that time.
