A few of my friend had a diarree problem. I gave to each one half a teaspoon of 3% (in SA 10 Volume) peroxide mixed with half a glass of water on a empty stomach. The diarree stopped immedaitely.
Calcium

I started getting diarrhea during menopause. It would only be after lunch but it happened nearly everyday for a couple of years. I tried eliminating dairy, wheat, fructose, splenda and anything else I thought might be the problem but nothing changed. I tried every home remedy too. Finally I came across a book that said calcium stops chronic diarrhea. I had already been taking calcium but apparently if your calcium has a high dose of magnesium in it, it will only make the problem worse.
When I started taking pills with 600mg of calcium and only 50mg of magnesium it was an answer to my prayers. After the first full day of taking this I have not been bothered with this ailment since. I just make sure that I have one tablet with breakfast and one with lunch and that seems to be sufficient for my situation. I know you're not allowed to say brand names but to make it easy for people what I took was Caltrate 600-D Plus.

For almost immediate diarrhea remedy, take about 5 cloves and break them into easy to swallow pieces. Swallow with water.

I have had steady diarrhea for two weeks now. I became concerned when I woke up with a mess in my bed! I take alot of vitamins and herbs and thought that might be it. I stopped them all two days ago and no better. I found this site and was looking for something around the house I could use. I tried a tsp of cinnamon on two pieces of toast each with some sugar. That was over an hour ago and the pressure in my lower stomach is gone and I don't currently feel a "pressing need" to run to the toilet! Thanks! I'll keep doing this and see how it goes!

It worked!
Usually apple cider vinegar does the trick for me, but it wasn't working. The best Apple Cider Vinegar did was to space out my visits to the bathroom.
After over 12 hours experiencing completely liquid diarrhea, I saw this post and boiled 2 cups of whole milk, turned off the stove before it boiled over, waited to cool, remove the skin that formed and drank it.
Felt better right away and today I have no more problems. Thank you!

Question: I have read several of the suggested remedies for diarrhea, which is 1 teaspoon of turmeric spice powder in a hot cup of water once a day. Some of the people noticed a difference within two to three days. My question is along with the turmeric tea once a day, I noticed that no one has mentioned what type of diet they followed? Could Ted or some of the people that have used this method answer as to what they ate? Do you drink the turmeric tea on the first day and follow a liquid diet for one to three days or what did everyone do or eat? I have a friend that has had diarrhea for two weeks and none of the over the counter products have worked. Could someone please answer?
I stumbled onto this site today and I think that it is wonderful that so many people have been helped. I am hoping to be able to help my friend. Thank you, Yvonne from Brownsville, TX.

OK, so call me skeptical. I have been having diarrhea for over 6 days and a sharp pain behind my belly button for a while. I was becoming raw and felt sick every time I needed to go (which was often). I sipped a hot cup of black chai tea mixed with 2 tablespoons of regular ACV (not organic, just generic) and to my surprise everything went away. No joke! The sharp pain behind my belly button and the diarrhea stopped. It has been two days and its never returned! I was seriously considering going to the ER and Pepto was doing nothing for me. I never even took another dose of the ACV, just the one. Worked great!

Diarrhea with Turmeric Powder: I had just gotten back from a 2 week trip in New Mexico and without thinking, I immediately ate two greasy Tex-Mex meals back to back. Needless to say, I had diarrhea that followed me for almost a week. I might have carried a bug back with me from MEX, I'm not sure of the source. I tried 1 tsp of Turmeric powder with a glass of water one night, and the following day I was already improving. Just for safe measures I went ahead and took another tsp the next day, and it was completely gone the following day, after only taking 2 doses!

I too had a bad case for 4 days with no other symptoms - well, other than tremendous gas. It would build in my belly until it was painful to touch and then when it was released you would think you were standing in a wind tunnel. I tried Pepto and Immodium to no avail. I talked to my doctor after office hours and he told me the only thing they would do at the ER is put me on an IV for dehydration. I trusted in google, found the site, and tried ACV. Unlike most other accounts, I didn't find immediate relief. My stomach was still playing the part of a cement mixer churning out gas but once that passed an hour or two later, I have been relatively symptom free. 2 Tbsp in some water seems to have trumped the marvels of modern medicine.

There has been a bad virus going around laying people up with diarrhea for two, three day straight. I got hit hard and fast last night. Couldn't sleep, of course, and found this site. Tried the ACV (two tablespoons in a coffee mug of warm water). Tossed and turned for twenty more minutes and then fell fast asleep and sleep good all night. Haven't had any since and today was Thanksgiving and I really over did it. So that is a testament to how well this works! Note: is very nasty going down the hatch, however. Great site, saved my holiday.

This post is in response to the person who has suffered with bad diarrhea and cramps for 20 years. I saw a program about mystery illnesses on TLC and the woman suffered from bad cramps and diarrhea since she began puberty. Her body was missing a protein and when she began puberty, her hormones triggered edema in various parts of her body. The inflammation in her body caused severe cramps and diarrhea for years. I hope I gave you enough to perhaps google it or find the show..Your case sounds eerily similar. She received some type of simple treatment that has held the illness at bay. It is also hereditary.

I had a very severe sore throat. I tried the ACV with honey & garlic and it helped a great deal. I added lemon juice to the mixture for good measure. Also when, I had "the runs", I used Tumeric and it was almost working immediately. So this is a YEA for home remedies.

Apple cider vinegar for diarrhea: Just tried it an feeling a bit better. Wish I would have read the comments cause I drank the stuff straight. Started off tasting like pickle jucie and quickly turned so bitter. Never going to drink it straight again. I think I heard my tounge screaming :)
