Hi Guys, For the people that have experienced really positive results in taking ACV w/BS did you stick to the eating pattern that Ted suggested... Eat one food category at each meal as this makes the process more effective or did you just eat as you normally would? As I'm finding it difficult with work and busy schedule to eat this way. Appreciate your advice Paula

Hello, I just eat the way I always have. The ACV capsules are helping. But I found that the iodine supplements I started taking for sluggish thyroid are doing much more. No more heavy bleeding. Very little PMS, and cramps? what cramps? Hope you find relief. Sammy

Blackstrap Molasses, Raspberry Leaf Tea

Glad to hear you are doing better. Try adding Goldenseal Tea or Pills to your monthly regimen (for only 7 days straight) while using the BSM. I personally use it a week before my menstrual cycle. It helps to keep my fibroids from heavy clotting & causing pelvic pain.

Ted, How do you make bromelain? Is there anyone out there that has had success with using bromelain to get rid of fibroids. How long did it take?

General Feedback
Posted by Mmsg (Somewhere, Europe) on 10/04/2012

Terri, the hardish middle part of a fresh pineapple is what has bromelain. Chew on it, then spit the hard stuff out. Or blender it with the rest of the pineapple. This blended stuff can be frozen in ice-pop molds for a yummy treat. I don't know what it's used for, but it seems to be anti-inflammatory.

Hi Terri, Yes, Mmsg gave you the explanation of bromelain. It can also be taken to help digest meat. Because it has an enzyme effect on meat, it can be used as a meat tenderizer as well. But as for the fibroid, did you look at the success of blackstrap molasses for fibroids on the Fibroids page?

https://www.earthclinic.com/cures/fibroids4.html#BLACKSTRAPMOLASSES

Also, I have heard of enzyme therapy for fibroids but I don't know its success rate.

Hope this helps, Lisa

Blackstrap Molasses
Posted by Paris4ever (Florida, Usa) on 08/10/2012

I have been taking blackstrap molasses for about a month now, my last period was a little better than before(less cramping, shorter days)... I have fibroids! But since my last period, I have been bleeding a little everyday. My next period is in about 8 days. I was wondering if my unusual bleeding in between period this month had anything to do with the fact that I have started drinking BM! Does it means that my body is getting used to it?? Getting rid of fibroids?? Has anyone experienced this before?? I drink BM with a glass of milk... I find it easier to drink that way. Any feedbacks appreciated :)

I've been taking BM (1-2 table spoons) for almost a month. No change in my cycle since I started, but I have also been spotting since my last cycle, with some spotting after sex. I have one fibroid about the size of a half of peanut.

The thing I had to do to control the bleeding was take Blackstrap Molasses twice a day. Once first thing in the morning and again 12 hours later. For me it is 6 am and 6 pm. Straight on a spoon and I chased it with yogurt. I too had huge clots. The mother in law of my childhood friend is a doctor and she says the huge clots are not from the period, rather they are hemorroids. She suggested I take Rutin and I did and what I thought to be clots calmed down tremendously.

To Michelle from Lawrenceville: The dosage for the ACV and BSM treatments varies, but the amounts I've seen mentioned most often are to take up to 2 Tablespoons of Unsulphured Blackstrap Molasses (not regular molasses like Grandmas or Brer Rabbit -- very important). You can take it with your ACV or with something else, depends on how you tolerate the flavor. Some people (including me) recommend working up to the 2 Tbsp/day to avoid digestive issues -- start with 1 tsp and work up from there over a couple of days or so.

The recommended amount of Apple Cider Vinegar varies, too -- anywhere from 1 to 2 Tablespoons once or twice a day.

I take one shot glass (about 2 Tbsp) of ACV in an 8oz glass of water with 1 Tablespoon of UBSM mixed in, twice a day. I drink the first glass first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. I have my second glass after dinner. How much you take really depends on how well you tolerate the taste. I don't mind the taste, but a lot of people do. See the BSM topics here for other suggestions.

I use Unsulphured Blackstrap Molasses and Apple Cider Vinegar "with the Mother". (ACV needs to be unfiltered & natural for best results -- thus "the mother".)

I found it interesting that right on the label for the ACV they have a "health drink" recipe that combines the ACV and UBSM.

I get the UBSM from Sprouts (Sunflower) Natural Food Store -- I think you can also get it from Whole Foods if you have one of those. Also check online sources Netrition and amazon.com.

I get my ACV from my regular grocery store (Tom Thumb/Safeway here in Dallas), but Sprouts also carries it.

If you want to read up more on both the ACV and BSM treatments here are the threads on this site. That's where I got started -- a lot of very good info here. The BSM ACV seems to be helping so far, but I've only been doing it about a month at this point.

I have cyst and fibroids.. Right now, Im taking apple cider vinegar w/ blackstrap molasses for two days and I notice that I have brownish spot on my panty liner, I was wondering if this is the side effect of ACV and Unsulphered blackstrap molasses?! .. I want to know if this is normal while taking apple cider and blackstrap molasses.. Thanks!

I have uterine fibroids and I currently take these two but based on my experience, I can't mix them together. They work better for me taken once a day separately. 2tbsp ACV with 1 tbsp honey(for flavor) in 8 oz lukewarm water in the morning. The Blackstrap Molasses, 1 tbsp in 8 oz lukewarm water in the afternoon. I will wait 30 minutes to an hour after eating before taking any of these. Has been working so far.

Can someone please help with some advice! I have posted before but no reply. Me and my wife lost our baby due to two large fibroids. I read about molasses on your website and decided to try it. Unfortunately the brand we bought was not blackstrap. We eventually got the right one from the internet which is blackstrap molasses unsulphered. My question is does blackstrap molasses cause pain and bleeding?? Does that mean the fibroids are degenerating?? She has been taking it for about 3days now!! Please help... I can feel the pain she goes through sometimes and it seems very painful!!

Andy, BSM does help, but if your wife has undesireable side effects, she might be taking too much. Don't rush. Take a tablespoon or less a day.

Hi good day to all, I came across to this website some few days ago and just the same with the rest of you here I am currently diagnosed with fibroids which is intramural that means it is inside my uterus although I am asymptomatic but I have heavy bleeding but not much of the cramps, as of right now I am on a monthly hormonal injection called luprolex. Anybody had this type of treatment before? Pls give me some feedback. I want to try ACV but I want to know if there are contraindications when taking this remedy. I really want my fibroids to shrink and I am going to try any possibility as long as it is not hysterectomy and also I want to know when is the best time to take it- before or after meals and how many minutes before or after you eat? pls send me some tips so I can do it the right way. Thanks so much.

Hi everyone, I wanted to give you an update. It has been a month since I started the ACV, BS and BSM. I did my self check today and am pleased to announce that the cervical cyst that I have had since I was 16 is gone!!!! It was the size of a pea and never gave me problems. I can no longer feel the 2 in my abdomen, so I am going to assume they are still there but have shrunk due to my new diet regimen. My fibroid unfortunately is still there, but is smaller, and not as painful. I still have not had a menstrual cycle. I am not sure if this is due to the location of the fibroid or due to eliminating everything from my diet that acts like estrogen in the body. I feel like I am back in menopause again. Hot flashes and sleepiness mostly. If anyone has a cure for these I would love to hear about them.

My energy level is so much better. I have started doing yoga 3x's a week and have lost 12 pounds. My arthritis has improved greatly. I am no longer so sore in the morning that I can't move when I get out of bed.

I have read that many people are having a hard time adjusting to the taste of ACV and BS. I have found the easiest way to take the ACV and BS is in 8 oz of water and add 1TBS of honey. I think it takes like apple juice and is much more palatable.

I will update again in a month and let you know how I am doing. Good luck to you all.

Sharon, I live in los angeles and am glad to know. I am not alone in this fibroid tumor battle. I could not become pregnant because of this fibroid condition. I too refuse to get a hysterectomy and still refuse. I just had a pap march and an ultrasound. The fibroids has gotten larger. I did buy flax seed plus. I am fifty one and have been battling this problem since I was thirty three years old. I appreciate Ted sharing this vital information. My fibroids block my uterus. I want to thank everyone for there input and testimony. I will lift all of us up in prayer. I wanted at least two children. It never happened. I am the only one in my family with no children. I love children. I am right there with you ladies.

Hi all, I am 27 yrs old and has been diagnosed with multiple fibroids with a couple of them as big as a red plum.. I had this severe pain on to my back running down thru the sides of my thighs and under my abs.. I always had pain during my periods but last month it hit me the worst with 3 continuous sleepless nights.. My husband tried to call after hours doc and they didn't respond.. I felt like I was going thru labour..

It was after this episode of severe pain, while I got a small cramp, I was praying to God to heal me that I googled up for remedies and I found this site. I could not believe the number of testimonials here.. I was so happy to find it.. And went to find the ingredients... Had to search for a while to find Blackstrap molasses.. For all those in Australia.. Try looking for them at health food or organic stores... I found one in a store called The Natural City.. Under the brand name Willowvale organics... I am not having a lot of pain in the last 3 days since I started having it.. But I am scared to death as my next cycle is approaching.. I really hope that this will help me.. As I will be starting to work from next week and it is going to be my probation.. I hope I will not have any problem to conceive a baby which I am hoping to happen some time soon.. I hope all of get better soon and will be able to lead a healthier life.

Please, I will be happy if you can help me to clarify this or give me a brand name that I can buy.

Thanks in anticipation of your response.

A hysterectomy may lead to a prolapse about 5-10 years down the road. The uterus is not just there for holding a fetus; it's very important in helping support the abdominal organs such as the intestines and the bladder. The abdominal organs stay in place due to a network of ligaments and pelvic floor muscles. When the uterus is removed as in a hysterectomy, this support system is greatly weakened and so these other organs have a lot less support, and tend to fall down or move into spaces they normally don't. (please google images) If you have a partial hysterectomy, the top of the vagina could fall down; sometimes the bladder herniates and sometimes the bowel moves into places it should not- all these lead to more surgeries down the road.

Interestingly, when my OB suggested hysterectomy to me for my fibroids, I do not remember her saying one single word about a prolapse down the road. I wonder if she is shilling for the OB surgeon. It's also possible that prolapse happens more often if you have a weak pelvic floor to begin with; but, as a woman ages, her ligaments and muscles get weaker anyhow, and chances of prolapse get higher even if she has a normal pelvic floor. I do not want to contribute to that by having a hysterectomy- not if my fibroid symptoms aren't that bad.

Hello, I am a 45-year old South Asian woman (not Oriental) who has been on orthotricyclen for fifteen years. Within the last two years my fibroids grew and now they are the size of a 5-month pregnancy. My symptoms are: I get full relatively fast when I eat; have to pee once an hour; and one heavy day in my 4-day period; and slight bulge in my profile. My OB suggested a hysterectomy. I was about to do it and then saw the rate of prolapse post-hysterectomy and that horrified me. That was when I began to look for other ways to lose the fibroids.

On your website I saw the hundreds of testimonials about ACV and BSM and beets so I tried it four days ago (for four days) and I bled yesterday - a full week before my regular period. Mind you, I've been like clockwork for 15 years on the pill. I'm still on the pill and cannot believe I am bleeding (unsulfured BSM). But for some reason the bleeding did not annoy me: instead I was elated, and I felt as if a curse had been lifted after 15 years. I bled about an hour, just a little; then today again I am bleeding a bit. It's not blood blood, but still blood, if you know what I mean.

So obviously this means that my homeopathic experiment can absolutely bust through the synthetic hormones that I am getting through the pill. Now I've noticed on this website that a lot of women who are NOT on the pill are controlling and even shrinking their fibroids through BSM and ACV. My question is, what do I do now? I know that estrogen feeds fibroids but I also see that almost no doctor will say that the pill feeds the fibroids (as you know the pill is a mix of estrogen and progesterone in varying ratios). But I'm starting to think that the fibroids are indeed being fed by my pill; and that they are growing bigger now because I am making less progesterone (as I age and get closer to menopause). I am thinking of going off the pill by first going on a lower dose pill (currently on 35 mcg) and then weaning off that, while doing the BSM and ACV the entire time. I will tell my OB but she's going to freak out, I know it. Especially when I tell her about the BSM and ACV.

Any suggestions?? Anyone know what will happen once I stop the pill? Will the fibroids get really big if I stop the pill?
