Dear Chong from Philipines, There is the BHT treatment and it has worked well for many with hepatitis B and C. Here are latest recommendations from THE BHT CURES CHAT GROUP:
The BHT treatment is:
200mg to 350mg of BHT taken once or twice a day with water on an empty
stomach. The dosage varies for each person. Generally, the more you weigh the
more you need and the less you weigh the less you need or desire. Age is also a
factor. People around age 60 have a harder time tolerating higher dosages.
Supplements that work well with BHT are:
1. A generic multivitamin and mineral supplement.
2. Vitamin B12 in a dosage of 1mg [ milligrams ] which is the same as
1,000mcg [ micrograms ] per day.
3. Vitamin C in a daily dosage of 500mg to 1, 000mg per day.
4. One vitamin B complex pill per day.
5. The lipid monolaurin. Not sure of dosage.
6. The herb chanca piedra has helped some people. Not sure about dosage.
7. Sodium selenite in a dosage of 300mcg [ micrograms ] a day.

Supplements to avoid:
1. Milk thistle and it`s extracts. It reacts with BHT in a way that degrades
the treatment.
2. Vitamin E supplements. Yes you need some vitamin E. But vitamin E
supplements were proven to ENHANCE hepatitis C`s virons ability to replicate and
therefore vitamin E supplements should be avoided.
3. Any and all other supplements should be avoided until and unless I see
evidence they work well with the BHT treatment. These are MY recommendations.

Good day guys! I was diagnosed last Aug 2012 as a Chronic Hep B positive, I have my liver ultrasound and found out that it is normal. I keep on monitoring my HBV but still my medical result is positive. I take only Vitamin C and E for one year since my doctor said I have to boost my immune system and my case is less infectivity. Just last May I went back for check up still im HBV positive. Guys kindly help me, evryday I felt saddened with my condition and I'm very worrid about what will happen to me. Kindly Help me guys.... I really need your Help

Dear Rob from Manhattan, The BHT does seem to be what cleared up that bald spot. This bald spot was quite obvious prior to my using BHT on a daily basis starting in 1997 when I was 48 years old. I am now 64 years old and that bald spot is still gone. One of the women at THE BHT CURES CHAT GROUP has also reported that an area of her scalp that had significantly thinning hair has filled in and improved greatly. Others have reported receding gums about their teeth filling in and becoming normal.
The more you look into this BHT stuff, the more health benifits you find if and only if you use sensible dosing. You need to find a dosage you are comfortable with. For me, a 200 pound male 350mg per day seems to be about right. If I use more than that on a regular basis I do experience an undesirable stimulant effect along with some stomach discomfort. When I was younger I was able to tolerate as much as 350mg of BHT twice a day=700mg of BHT per day. But I can no longer tolerate that much BHT on a daily basis without the adverse effects I just described.
This is no miracle cure. It is based on sound, proven chemisrtry. BHT very readily deactivates free radicals and reactive oxygen species.
For example when hydrogen peroxide is split or cleaved you have two very reactive and destructive free radicals called hydroxy radicals. Look at how simple it is: H-O-O-H , hydrogen peroxide becomes two O-Hs. BHT deactivates this by donating one hydrogen atom to each O-H and thereby becomes H-O-H [ water ]. This is done in pairs or two at a time. Then the two different carbons that gave up those one each hydrogens bond to each other. Those two carbons bonded to each other now satisfy the octet rule. Simply stated: the carbon atom`s need to have 4 chemical bonds to be a stable compound. There are exceptions to this octet rule also. But that is another fairly complex aspect of organic chemisrty.

Dear Ethel from Ausrtralia. You are a petite woman at only 100 pounds. If you tolerate the 250mg of BHT taken twice a day=500mg of BHT per day that should be plenty enough. If adverse effects are experienced lower the dosage used.
Now those B vitamins work well with the BHT treatment. Vitamin B12 in a dosage of 1mg [ milligrams ] which is the same as 1,000mcg [ micrograms ] is especially helpful. Also the lipid or oil monolaurin works well with BHT. Vitamin C in a dosage of between 500mg and 1,000mg also works well with BHT.
I do not know whether or not the other supplements you discussed will work well with BHT or not.
Many supplements do NOT work well with the BHT treatemnet including milk thistle and iit`s extracts, grapefruit juice, and others.

I cut down fatty foods and eat more fruits, vegetables, daily exercise and prayers of course. But how about taking Salvia ligustrum with BHT? or Should I take BHT simply with my vit c and vit b complex? Thanks again.

Dear Ethel from Australia, I hope to be of some help to you regarding BHT dosage. It is a tricky issue. You have to find a dosage you are comfortable with. For people of average weight you should start out with no more than 250mg of BHT per day with water on an empty stomach. The more you weigh the more you need but it need not be that much. I myself was using only one or two 250mg capsules of BHT per day and I weighed about 175 pounds when I succesfully treated my hepatitis C infection. There are many people who tolerate as much as two 350mg of BHT per day=700mg per day. There are others who have adverse reactions to even one 250mg of BHT per day. These capsules are easy to pull apart so you can lower the dosage if needs be. You have to find out for yourself what you are comfortable with. For an average size woman 250mg of BHT taken with water only twice a day seems to be plenty enough and may be too much. If adverse effects are felt stay with one dose per day. Age is also a factor. Younger people seem to tolerate larger doses better than people over 55 or so. Trying to help, ...Oscar

Hello guys, Haven't been here for a while. I am still planning on doing the course with Salvia Ligustrum. I tried for a while but my stomach did not feel well so I stopped. Maybe the dosage 9 pills x 3 times a day was too much. Or my diet was not right. Do not know exactly what happened. I am still positive but will try again with both Chanca Piedra and Salvia Ligustrum.
If someone knows please let me know about the possible allergic reactions to Salvia Ligustrum and what is the right dosage to be taken.... What if I take only 3 pills x 3 times daily. Is it going to work?

Dear Glen from Rizal, That test you described indicates that you are infected with the hepatitis B virus. Fully one third of people now alive are infected with this viral disease. Dear Danielle, I will start my response by saying I also have NO idea as to what those numbers and their corresponding acronyms mean. Also, one of the questions you asked is whether or not the treatments you mentioned were safe to use if considering getting pregnant. I very much advise against getting pregnant until and unless this hepatitis B issue is resolved. So first concentrate on resolving this hepatitis B issue before getting pregnant.
If you choose to try the BHT treatment, use that treatment and none of the others. The BHT treatment does NOT work well with other treatments.
The BHT treatment is:
200mg to 350mg of BHT taken once or twice a day with water only on an empty stomach. People who weigh less need and desire less BHT. You have to find a dosage you are comfortable with.
The supplements that work well with BHT are:
1. Vitamin B12 in a daily dosage of 1, 000mcg [ micrograms ]. 1mg [ milligram ] is the same as 1, 000mcg.
2. Vitamin C in a daily dosage not to exceed 1, 000mg
3. A regular type vitamin B-complex tablet
4. A standard multi-vitamin and mineral pill.
5. The lipid monolaurin is OK to use.
Do NOT take any other supplements with the BHT treatment. Do NOT take milk thistle. Do NOT take vitamin E supplements. Do NOT drink grapefruit juice

It's so difficult as I don't even know about the viral count nothing. I read alot and here I saw much on chanca piedra which I found here. I stated taking it and also I bought selenium, BTH, Astragus V D3, Alpha lipoic Acid and NADH rich in Coenzyme. I have been taling the chanca along side with Immunoplex that was prescribed by the doctor. But must of the time I really get pains on my right stomach and am scared if am doing the right thing. Also making virgin coconot oil from coconut myself which am taking 2 spoons everyday. I don't eat salt, I never smoke or drink alcohol. Please can any one give me some advice. My fiance is negative and all my two X girfriends are negative too. They have never been vacinated against Hep. I can't seem to find any local store here in Nigeria that sells them. So I have to order online. As for chanca piedra, I have it growing all around my house, the problem is the dosage. I just make a decoction of it but I will prefer to have in tablet form.

To Jamaal 2013 How about trying to cure your hep b instead of managing it. There are products that are having a large succes rate in doing so. I will name them for you so you will know.
BHT (butylated hydroxy toluene) 350mg once a day proven to kill all lipid coated viruses. Chanca Piedra 500mg once a day with food at fifferent times. B12 5,000mcg sublingual, Vitamin D3
The thing is knowing what not to take like grape fruit juice, and milk thistle blocks these compounds and vitamin E helps the virus to replicate.

Danbuzu: You are not dying and you need to maintain a very positive outlook. It is all the same for us when we first dicscovered our HBV status. But as you read more and get your test result you will be so convinced that you will likely grow old and die of something else. You need to know that HBV is manageable. There are good therapies out there and your gastroenterologist will likely make some recommendations. Also there are many herbs and other alternatives you may explore as mentioned in the forum. I just started trying Chanca piedra (it grows as weed in my compound, so easy so cheap). Just so you know it is called 'geron tsuntsaye' in Hausa. After the first three months, I had a 25% reduction between my first and second test, and a 86% reduction between my second and third test. 1, 514, 500 to 168, 600 is amazing!
Though, it's hard to say exactly what has contributed to this. In addition to BHT, I started taking Chanca Piedra and Monolaurin these last three months. I also cut out a lot of my workout supplements/super dosing of vitamins.
Chanca Piedra is said help prevent certain viruses from replicating and monolaurin is said to destroy lipid coated viruses, similar to BHT. I'm sure they've both had a big impact on my results.

Am I dying sooner please? Good morning, I finally uncovered that I've a chronic liver problem. And I'm dying any moment from now. My ALP alkaline Phosphate is 12. My total and direct BILIRUBIN are 22 and 14 respectively. HBsAg, anti HBe and anti HBc are all reactive. While HBeAg and Anti HBs are non reactive.
I'm thinking of withdrawing from my studies since I'm already dead. Pls I'm waiting for a medical advice from the Medical Expert. I've experienced mild enlargement of the liver according to radiologist. The liver show decrease parenchymal ecogenicity with with uniform parenchymal echo pattern. There's accentuation of the portal trisds giving the so called starry sky appearance due to inflammatory changes. He concluded that SONOGRAPHIC ARE THOSE OF HEPATIC INFLAMMATORY CHANGES MOST LIKELY DUE TO VIRAL HEPATITIS. However, whenever I'm lying on my back I do feel something is not normal in the right side of my chest, and it increasingly paining me. Pls I need more explanation.

Chanca piedra did not convert my antigen, salvia did. But chanca piedra made my virus load decrease. I took for several months. I see a liver doctor every six months and sometimes I asked my physician to run tests, then I could monitor results of chanca piedra and salvia. I also changed diet, became vegetarian, took some herbs for liver, drink green tea and water with lemon juice. I really do not know how much all other things helped me. But I know that salvia converted my antigen within two months. But before this my DNA was low.

Hi Max, thanks for replying, how long did you take chanca piedra for? You had mentioned that you found out that you were a HBV carrier with your first pregnancy. How long did it take you to seroconvert? Meaning form the time you took chanca piedra to HBsAg negative. Approximately how many months did this take? I don't know if you got an answer to you question about the possibility of converting back to HBV positive. It could happen, when your immune system is compromised, such as in chemothreapyand you can never donate blood. I am so happy for you. No, I took all of them separately. First, I took chanca piedra. Later I took Salvia for two months and I had test done that showed that my antigen is negative. Later I took beta glucan and I still take beta glucan with some breaks.

Hi Tatiana, I have also been a health carrier all my life. Found out when I was pregnant w/ my first child, in 1996. My ex. husband never contracted it form me. I'm 37 y/o now and would like to get rid of the virus. I want to date again but it's been difficult for me to tell people that I'm HBV positive. I went and got some test done last month and all my lab values where good, everything was normal. My viral load was 1100. Please keep me posted on how it goes. I'm going to start on Chanca piedra this month and will keep everyone posted on how it goes. I've read that Chanca piedra has anti-viral activities and could make your viral load become undectectable. I'm also very scared of making my condition worst with these herbs. Can anybody let me know if they had side effects form Chanca piedra, tea form, when they took this herb. Then I will start on Salvia lingustrum. Hope to hear form anyone soon.

@ Muhammad:I have been taking Salvia Ligustrum for a month already (I have read that some people conerted to negative afer taking Salvia Ligustrum) - I try to take 9 tablets 3 times daily but sometimes skip intakes; and I take chanka piedra ocasionally; I am planning to continue with the treatment for two more months and then will do all my tests and will see.
Also every day I take Phyllanthus Comples which containes Phyllanthus amarus leaf (chanka piedra), milk thistle seed, and dandelion root.

Then doctor asked me to do further tests and they are

hbv viral load -101 IU/ml
anti hbc Igm - 0.08 negative
anti HBe - 0.14 (positive)
my doc has to say that I am having chronic hepatitis b with inactive virus and no treatment needed. but I cannot get rid of virus anytime and can't become Hbsag negative. please guide me with the same... Is there any chances???

They sell Chanca piedra (also called Sampa-sampalukan in Filipino) in the herb section at Quiapo Market (aka Quinta Market) just next to both the Church of the Black Nazarene and Quezon Bridge. You can buy chanca piedra as a plant there and perhaps grow it in your garden and use it like that.

After the first three months, I had a 25% reduction between my first and second test, and a 86% reduction between my second and third test. 1, 514, 500 to 168, 600 is amazing!
Though, it's hard to say exactly what has contributed to this. In addition to BHT, I started taking Chanca Piedra and Monolaurin these last three months. I also cut out a lot of my workout supplements/super dosing of vitamins.
Chanca Piedra is said help prevent certain viruses from replicating and monolaurin is said to destroy lipid coated viruses, similar to BHT. I'm sure they've both had a big impact on my results.

For me: Though a hepatitis B carrier [about one third of all people are such carriers] at one time I no longer am. I was never chronically infected with hepatitis B. I WAS a carrier and no longer am. The hepatitis B cleared up along with hepatitis C for me with the BHT treatments. I now test NEGATIVE with the HBV antibodies test as far as I know according to what the VA has told me....Oscar

Hello everyone! I have been a carier for probably all my life, do not know when I got infected with HBVag and have never done any treatnents. I am 33 now and thinking about having kids one day :) and want to clear the virus off my system.
This is a qwestion for those who have done Salvia Ligustrum Chanca Piedra mutivatamis. I have taken Chanca Pieda on and off, but have never monitored the results. I have taken chanca piedra pills and made a tea as well but as far as I know chanka piedra might be different like there are different kinds of it: phyllantus urinaria, phyllantus niruri, phyllantus amarus. Which one did you use? I have taken Phyllantus urinaria as a tea but have gotten stomackake after that... not saying it is not working just that I might have gotten some kind of reaction.
The news that Salvia Ligutsrum cleared ones virus is amazing. I am ready to start taking it but please could you give recommendations on how to take it: before breakfast/lunch / dinner or after? any recomendations on the dosage and the diet?

So far I have yet to find anyone else who had such a high viral count of over 10 million. In 3 months it went down to 300 thousand. That is 97%!!!
I'm telling you, it works.
Nothing has ever worked as good. Salvia Lingustrum worked but not like CP! One unintentional side effect of Salvia Lingustrum, it increases libido. Depending on ones situation, that can be a plus or a burden.
Every day I drank CP, 3 or 4 times a day. Never missed a day NEVER.. I drank it as if my life depended upon it starting it Jan of 09 and finding out mid March it HB was nearly gone so quickly.
IF you want to rid this, it is a daily thing, like taking a medication and it has to be done right. Sweeten only with organic honey and never with surgar. The tea must be made strong, it must appear very dark and not see-through. It must be done every day minimum for 3 months.
I have not tried the BHT, I have not needed it. I found the CP to benefit with HBV and the common Flu. IT also clears bad calcium build up. Simply, it has multiple benefits. I don't know anything about the use of BHT but CP has been widely studied regarding efficacy with viruses since the 80's
There is a published medical report from Dr Blumberg regarding the use of Chanca Piedra and cases were chronic HBV was cleared after 3 months.

This made it possible to treat such retroviruses as HIV, sarcoma and leukemia viruses. Their first human study reported that a water extract of Phyllantus amarus and niruri cleared the HBV surface antigen from 22 of 37 chronic HBV patients in only 30 days and continued to test negative for nine months. This same group had published several earlier in vitro studies as well as animal studies. It is not recommeded that you take Milk Thistle if you are taking BHT. The Milk Thistle will block the BHT as it works to protect the liver. Grape fruit or grape fruit juice is also known to block the effects of BHT and other drugs. art.

It works! How did you take it? How many times a day? Clear HBV by making a strong, very dark tea. Drink 1 coke can size amount 3 times a day. Do not skip a day. Do not sweeten with sugar only with organic honey.
Toss your tooth brush every 2 weeks for the next 3 months and emerge it in some sort of sanitizing solution daily.
If you are not single and your partner who has been vaccinated can still hold a small amount of the virus and transfer it back to you.
We all have parasites in our gut. They are also hold viruses. Do a parasite cleanse. Research parasite cleanse b4 hand if you are unfamiliar.
Eliminating parasites will also help reduce viral load.
Don't measure viral load right after parasite cleanse. They release toxins and viruses when they die but also they stop emitting counter immunity substances and in a few days after eliminating you feel stronger and more focused.
You also need to take a good vitamin with high levels of VD VE and selenium. Chanca Piedra will stop the virus from replicating and the vitamins and minerals help the liver defend it self from the viral burden.
Also, lighten other burdens of the liver. Eat less fried fatty foods. Eat more fruits and veggies.

Hi oscar. I do not know of any treatment wich is why I am looking everywhere I can. I simply said that those results do not show the virus has cleared. My results are hbvdna 140 and that is just with healthy eating and keeping vit d high and cholesterol low. I am looking to clear hbsag permanantly I have tried chanca piedra it did not work. Dear James from Bangkok, Not yet. It took me over 2 years to get a NEGATIVE with a hepatitis B antibodies test. But, as you can see: T has greatly reduced his viral load count using one 350mg of BHT twice a day. These hepatitis viral infections are hard to treat effectively. The liver is a very large organ. It takes time to completely clear the liver of a viral infection. The BHT does NOT clear a living liver cell of the virus. What it does is prevent new liver cells from becoming infected. And every cell in a person`s liver is a new cell in about one year. That is how it works. If you know of a better treatment go for it....Oscar

The remedies given here focus on herbals and I've enjoyed reading them. One writer said the herbal did not work and asked for others suggestions. Well one known broad spectrum anti viral is colloidal silver. It should be used over a period of a year twice a day, a tablespoon at a time for a system wide infection.
I know for many viral and bacterial infection this simple formula is effective but have never heard if silver can impact VL of Hep B or Hep C.

Hi Livercursexlm... Salvia is a much used Chinese herb which is a strong anti-viral. I see no reason why you shouldn't use chanca piedra with salvia, since several people attest to its efficacy when used together with chanca piedra against Hep B.

Hi Pedro... There are several ways to obtain Chanca Piedra(CP) in the Philippines.
Chanca Piedra(also called Sampa-sampalukan in Filipino) grows profusely as a weed all over the lowlands of the Philippines (I have also seen this plant growing in the Cebu lowlands). So you should be able to get CP for free. The Chanca Piedra plant looks like this:

If you can, try and plant these two herbs in your garden. They are also very useful for problems like gallstones, kidney stones, gout, fever, arthritis, candida, inflammation, high blood, malaria etc.
Chanca piedra's beneficial effects against Hep B are also enhanced when combined with Tinospora cordifolia -- also called Makabuhay in Filipino(also easily found in the lowlands of Cebu). Makabuhay is also known as Heart Vine or Heavenly Elixir and looks like this:

Makabuhay is quite well known in the Philippines. Makabuhay, when taken as a decoction, also helps to inactivate the Hep B virus. Chanca Piedra acts by interfering with and stopping the reproductive cycle of the Hep B virus -- so it is both beneficial and synergistic if these two herbs -- Chanca Piedra and Makabuhay -- are used together in a decoction because they greatly enhance each other's beneficial effects.
To make the decoction -- get one whole Chanca piedra plant(with roots) and three sticks of the vine stem of the Makabuhay plant. Cut them up into 2 or 3 inch sticks and bash the stems to open them up. Put all the Chanca piedra and Makabuhay sticks into a large pot and fill it with 2 liters of water. Gently boil and simmer this decoction down to 1 liter and then strain the brown liquid into a liter container and put in the fridge. It is now ready to use. This is a potent drink and it will taste very bitter.
If you cannot find the Makabuhay, then just make the decoction using just the Chanca Piedra on its own.
Dosage: Fill half a glass with the decoction and then add fresh fruit juice for one full glass and drink this 3 times a day outside mealtimes. Drink this every day.
If you can't find the Chanca piedra plant, then the SM and Ayalla Malls should have them in their health herb shops such as GNC or Healthy Options. As an alternative, you can take the CP capsules -- 1000 mgs three times a day with meals.
You should also try the Cebu markets -- sometimes they sell these local herbs there and it would also be much cheaper for you. I know for sure that both CP and Makabuhay are sold in Quaipao market in Quezon City, Manila. Also perhaps if you ask a local albularyo or medico -- then they will be able to show you what these plants look like so you can find them yourself for free and perhaps plant them in your garden as well for use later.

Ok, I wrote in February that I got rid of hep B in February, but I still did not have immunity to it. I have been trying different things. I was taking Astragalus, but I still did not build immunity. Finally, I did another blood test, which results I got today. My antibodies are 628 today and two months ago I had still zero. What helped me, I think, was beta-1, 3/1, 6-D-Glucan. You should have more than 10 to be immune. I got 628 within 2 months. I could not believe. I took also Linzhi mushrooms, but only for short time.
