Garlic is efficient in gastric and intestinal catarrh (gastric juice and the presence of mucus in stool), and for arteriosclerosis (hardening of the walls of the arteries). It has been used for arterial hypertension in the following formula:

Mash/Grate 6oz the garlic, put paste in a jar, add enough 40% grain alcohol to cover. Let stand for one week, stirring daily. At the end of the week, strain and take 60 – 80 drops 3x/daily. Repeat daily til mixture is completely gone.

Consider dietary causes. Dairy can cause mucous. So can the sugar substitute sucralose. (Made me very ill when I accidentally drank a ton of cranberry juice in it! )

Cayenne Pepper capsules daily or Lemon-aid everyday would be a starting point. Both are known to break-up mucus in the body.
