Most of my adult life I've suffered from stomach problems. And in research of natural cures and flouride poisoning I came across this wonderful website. Anyway, I started the BORAX treatment for flouride because I've been having problems with my knees. I tell ya, I don't know if it's the power of the mind or what, but 2 days of the BORAX treatment and my knees that have been bothering me for the past two months stopped hurting and I can walk again without pain. Haven't tried anything for the stomach yet. But I will now. Expecially after coming across this website and PH levels in the stomach and flouride absorbtion. WOW! Check it out for yourself! http://jdr.iadrjournals.org/cgi/reprint/72/3/619.pdf

I've suffered from a bad knee most of my life. If it isn't bone on bone, it sure feels like it. While nothing really helps, when I do not drink plenty of water, the pain and swelling get real bad when I stand or walk for any duration. Have been taking ACV/bs for 2 weeks now and so far no relief. But it is working on my Blood Pressure so I'll keep taking that. I just need a new knee.

Eliminate Aspartame and Artificial Sweeteners

For about the last ten years I have had a pinched nerve in my neck. I am 40 and very active (yoga, lift weights, run, etc) It flared up on occasion when I would work out hard and I would injure my shoulder or neck, putting additional pressure on the nerve. About 18 months ago the pain got so severe that I was seriously considering surgery which would have fused some discs in my neck together (among other things). A business associate had mentioned that he had problems with his knees hurting when he drank diet coke, which i drank. As a last resort I quit drinking diet coke and about 4 weeks later the pain in my neck was down to manageable levels again. This lasted about until recently when it flared up again, I had recently started taking a new weightlifting supplement (powder) and upon closer inspection it contained aspartame. I talked to my doctor who had not heard anything about his particular side effect of aspartame, but we theorized that the additive caused small swelling to muscles which impinged my already narrow nerve openings. needles to say, I have cut aspartame back out of my diet.

I tried serrapeptase 200mg. took it as suggested first bottle(90 tabs) 3x3/day, then 3x1/day , this cured the pains in my knees and legs. It's made from enzymes originating from the silk worm. also cleared my cholesterol.

Vitamin C

I started taking high doses of Vitamin C to help ward off a cold virus. For the past several weeks I took 5-10 grams of Vitamin C. I noticed my knee pain disappeared. I am a runner/cross country skier who has virtually stopped these activities due to pain in my right knee. For 7 years I have tried glucosamine, calcium, MSM, and NSAIDs. I don't like taking NSAIDS. However, the other remedies did not relieve the pain and inflammation. Therefore, I have been tolerating the pain and have discontinued using NSAIDS. I was very surprised to find that the Vitamin C use correlated with complete pain relief and reduction of inflammation. So I stopped the C for a week and the pain returned. I have resumed the C and the pain is gone again.

MSM

BETTER BUT WITH SIDE EFFECTS

I keep re-injuring my knee from strenuous exercise. I find that MSM heals the tenderness in my meniscus very fast -- usually overnight. However, I started to take double the dosage last week and also started having side effects for the first time! You never hear about the side effects of MSM, but I think it probably happens to people more than they realize. I started to have shortness of breath and a racing heartbeat at night when I lay down to sleep. That lead to a slight panic attack because I kept feeling like I wasn't getting enough oxygen. I am not sure how MSM affects the muscles around the heart and or lungs, but it perhaps tightens them (possible?) causing this sensation. Would love to know if anyone experiences the same side effects.

Weight Loss

I started to have knee issues after gaining about 10 lbs. I had been about the same weight my whole life until I turned 34. Then, after being on anti-anxiety medication for a year, I started to put on the pounds! I figured out the extra weight was putting pressure on my meniscus when I worked out and spent the next few months losing the weight. Oh yes, I went off the medication too! I also massaged my thigh muscles (front and back) daily as I learned from my doctor that too much muscle tension causes stress on the knee as well. Long story short -- I went back to my original weight and haven't had any knee problems since then.

I bought 65% food grade hydrogen peroxide and started taking it as prescribed by recipe I found on internet. I was doing well until I got to 20 drops. I got very nauseated and had to start putting it in milk. My legs got very sore. I imagine that it is due to the cleansing process. I have now changed over to apple cider vinegar which has done away with the soreness in my legs and I am practically free from pain in my knees from Arthritis.

I had severe aching and throbbing in both knees this winter. I started taking ACV and honey a couple of weeks ago. From day one my knees started to feel better. Now my knees are pain free no matter how much I walk. Really amazing.
