Liver Cyst Remedies

Posted by Marisa (Ny) on 08/13/2014

I was recently having upper abdominal pain and had a lot of testing done. The only thing found was a 1.5 inch liver cyst in the exact spot where I was having pain and bloating. The doctor told me "these don't cause symptoms" however with what I have been reading I know it is not true. Surgery on the liver is not very safe and I am desperate for a remedy.

@Marisa: It would be nice to know exactly what type cyst you have. In the meantime, I would recommend applying a strong magnet directly to the area for about 30 min daily fallowed by a Don Croft Zapper for 30 min directly over the area. Fallow this w/ garlic oil soft-gels in the am session and Oregano Oil soft-gels in the pm session. These remedies will reduce the infection and inflammation and eventually kill the cyst; may take several months treatment.

I have over thirty of these on and in my liver... they called them simple liver cysts at first. I had the big ones, over a liter of liquid drained and they refilled that week. I had them surgically removed from the surface and new ones formed. They seem to be autoimmune.

Would love to hear some good testimonies and remedies ANYONE...?

Joy: Are these perhaps Tapeworm Cysts???

The standard liver support herbs are Milk Thistle Seed, Turmeric Root, Artichoke Leaves. How these would affect your condition, I don't know, but will most likely improve your health. Inflammation would seem to be a major issue.

I had a gallbladder scan , a colonoscopy, a throat scope , while I was put out, and blood work, a CT scan , MRI , Lymph Check with imaging, and a bunch of other avenues checked before the surgery. I have candida battles, sensitivities , allergies, and take multi enzymes and papaya tabs, yogurt, coconut oii and flakes, multi vits& minerals, plus magnesium citrate twice a day , Lecithin, > milk thistle every couple days ( I get symptoms from it), I eat healthy, very little meat. Drink some lemon with ginger and tumeric , gives me a tiny crack on one side of mouth. I let that heal and then try it again.

Joy, I replied to you about the gelatin capsules... Sounds to me like you have sensitivities to the binders and fillers in your meds. I am extremely sensitive to manufactured glutamic acid (MSG). I cannot ingest gelatin capsules. I cannot eat yogurt. I had to get the magnesium powder because the magnesium citrate caused PVC (premature venrticular contractions) that felt, to me, like heart flutters. After all my tests that was the diagnosis I was given. I then found out about the "citrate". It is processed from corn because it is cheaper than from citrus fruit. The FDA is not protecting us and I said earlier on this site that they should be renamed the Fool and Deceive Agency. I think you should stop taking all the processed things you are taking. Especially yogurt. The dairy cows are being fed GMO grains and grasses. As I mentioned, it has taken me over twenty years of piecemeal learning and it is difficult to "spit out" in a few sentences how I know what I've learned.

All of our fruits vegetables have been engineered to last longer. Corn and Soy are two of the deadliest ingredients in our food supply and they are in practically everything. They are being fed to critters we eat, get milk and eggs from and are difficult to digest. Nothing is safe. Moderation is essential.

I have to apologize for being so piecemeal but that is the nature of someone who has had two traumatic brain injuries... Comatose after one. From my experience, you seem to be ingesting things that are in conflict with each other. I don't feel you could be "eating healthy" if you keep having problems. I have had to do a little research to use food as my medicine. This will have to be continued if you are REALLY interested... There is much information I could share but it will be piecemeal and I want to be thorough when I give it. It is important to stop eating raw fruits and vegetables because they are not digested well. They must be cooked to be easier to digest. What I've learned is contrary to what has been acceptable as "healthier eating". Canned and frozen are better because they are picked at their peak and blanched.

Hello- I wonder if you have looked at any emotional triggers to this issue? We are mind body and spirit and I feel at the place in which we need to look at any bodily issues from that stand point. Just a thought to help you rule out. But mind has a lot to do with health. So liver is the seat of anger. Is there any unprocessed anger that could be bringing these back up? I want to say how brave you are. And to keep going. You are your own best resource and the more you get in tune with all of you, the better you'll be. Hang in there.

I had just posted my "last post" to Joy after reading what I posted because I think I was more confusing than helpful. I gave more explanation but lost my connection and lost what I had typed. I think I should have told her she sounded like she was sensitive to hidden sources of MSG instead of the binders and fillers in supplements (they can be made from genetically modified plants and are a hidden source). Those of us who recognize our sensitivity refer to "MSG" as any processed free glutamic acid. It is not Monosodium Glutamate but it does the same damage. It is in many different foods under many different names and everyone will react differently and it can be carcinogenic. I forget the rest of what I had said.

Hindsight is 20/20 and I learned my "cysts" wherever they were came from too many carbohydrates. All of our dairy (whether milk, cheese or butter) is from cows being fed genetically modified grains and/or grasses. I thought I was getting unadulterated whole milk in glass bottles from free-range, grass fed dairy cows. I not only had a hard time keeping my weight down but I kept getting more "cyst-like" blemishes. I knew they previously came from too many carbs but I was limiting my carb intake.

I called the dairy and asked if they were feeding their cows corn. They reluctantly replied "yes, along with the leaves". Knowing the milk in glass bottles is safer I started getting 2% milk and my "cysts" reduced in size. I still eat butter but I get it without salt and use sea salt. I limit my cheese to 1/2-1oz. at a time. I don't know if you are familiar with the low carb diet but meat, eggs, cheese and butter are not supposed to have any carbs. This can't be true anymore because of what they are being fed but who has the money to do any testing? I don't believe there are any reliable labs anyway.

Boy, I got way off here... I don't know what you read or what I said that got your interest. I'm not real familiar with how postings work here but I'm going to try to "flag" this so I know when you reply. It's not good for me to sit here long and sometimes it upsets my husband.

Kathy, Not to worry, my brain has it's own farting issues. That's why I'm using so much coconut oil. Some days I have a special case of STUPID. I think you said food unprocessed and supplements were bad for me and it is, ... But I still have to eat some if I want to stay alive. We are all being poisoned by the greed, so we have to pick and choose from this poison or that one. Which is the least toxic?

We are all doing our best at being human, trying to find answers for our issues and help our fellow man. I appreciate you trying to be of help to me.... Let Your JOY be Full.

PHEW, took me a long time to find this post.

I am in the process, I hope, of correcting a diagnosis of IBS and have to spend frequent time in the bathroom. Having had a breech vaginal delivery makes things difficult. I'm sure I'm a candidate for a colostomy but I do not want to live the rest of my life like that.

It's hard to know what "eating healthy" is. What is good for one may not be good for someone else. I'll just try to explain my thought processes of what I am doing and why. I could very well be wrong but I'm gonna try. I just started using coconut oil so I only use a sliver (about 1/2 tsp. )with my butter. This part was added after I started this... I only use sea salt with turmeric and ginger. I just read that cayenne pepper stops bleeding so I've starting using some of that.

I have damaged myself in a way that I need to replace the lining of my colon. There is about a two inch section that is not there. (actually that part is the rectum) The nerve cells are dead and I read that garlic helps regenerate the lining. I try to eat green beans (cooked well) and either carrots or cauliflower, chewing them up with a garlic clove.

Carrots are good for Vit. A, necessary for tissue repair. Cauliflower contains Vit. K needed for blood clotting and the green beans are a good source of magnesium that binds with protein before being absorbed in the intestines. It also offers some protection against MSG.

I then have a couple medium eggs with onions. Sometimes I have an ounch of cheese with them or I'll have them on a small red potato with the skin, a sliver of butter (without salt) and a sliver of CO. I also use the sea salt with turmeric and ginger.

A long time ago I read that zits, "clogged pores" occur because of eating too many carbs and not enough Vit. A. Looking back, I had a hard time with my complexion at the same time I had reoccurring cysts on my ovaries and I had one behind my ear.

I hope this helps you a little. You did not reply so I don't know what else to tell you. Please be aware that I have got to finish a course before the twenty-ninth and I do not maintain an internet connection. It's taking me a long time because I cannot sit here long. I gave an explanation of what happened but because it has nothing to do with what EC is for, I don't think it would be allowed. I wish I could email what I had typed. I saved it in case. ~Kathy

Hi Kathy from Happyville, You sound like you eat a healthy diet and have overcome a lot of obstacles. I added a full spectrum multi mineral lately to my intake and that has been helping. I also use two magnesium citrate a day and hope to add some potassium citrate soon. Maybe get some zip in my doo dah!

I use 3-7 tsp. A day of coconut oil plus coconut flakes without sweetener. I love the improvements in my health. Coconut oil is the only oil that doesn't tax the liver. My skin is full of circulation and healthy color and plumped out, less wrinkles, dark circles, I have had since childhood, are lessening.

I started using the oil for the first time in Nov. or Dec. of 2012, after reading a book on Alzheimers.

I bought a coconut oil book recently and there is a candida flush diet in the book (3-7 days to complete it). I have to get some lime and try to adjust to it before going on the cleanse... Maybe in May. I had a chronic belly ache till I was 40 but rarely get one if I'm careful. Too much... too soon makes me lose ground in my recovery.

It says in the book that the coconut meat and oil heal the colon also, you said you have IBS---it polishes , cleans, helps restore the tone and helps ph and strengthens, nourishes the tissue from mouth to rectum.

I have lifelong candida issues (from my mother) and that affects the way your body processes food. You can eat and have little benefit. I've been on the health search for over 30 yrs. and overcame a lot of issues but age brings new battles to overcome.

Do you have cysts on the liver ? I have no other cysts. I plan to overcome them, maybe dandelion tea , our yard is full of the stuff.

It's almost SPRING and a black bunny has made it through the winter out there eating dandelion greens. He showed up one day and stayed on.

Hi De, I don't know if Joy is still available. I've tried to contact her through EC CS but never received a reply. The last she posted about her painful prolapse issue, I was dealing with mine. She posted about using Witch Hazel to "pull her bladder back up" or something similar and I was discovering that the "bladder prolapse" is actually stool accumulating and pushing against the vaginal wall. As soon as I could find her post about the problem, I tried to alert her to the fact that the "prolapse" was not her bladder. After I posted my findings, someone else posted in agreement with me.

Liver Damage Treatment

I delivered a baby in seventh month. After one month my gall bladder was removed. And for the past three months I am suffering from liver damage. I had yellow eyes for a month but I thought it is because of lack of sun. Earlier I never took any allopathy medicines. One fine day I was hospitalized with liver damage and they said I am under nourished and put all kinds of fluids with Iv. My body was totally swollen with big stomach and elephant like legs. I had to go for paracentesis two times so far. Now the swelling of legs is totally came down but my stomach is still huge. They also suggested liver transplant with 50% chances. I am 29 yrs and I hv 6 yrs old son, and two daughters 4 and half and the small one is 8 months. Can some body help me? Can somebody tell me can I drain my stomach with home remedies? Can repair my liver with home remedies? I am vivid reader of EC and I always tell my friends to look for home remedies on EC. I want to be healthy for my kids. I do home schooling and natural food freak

Dandelion is beneficial to the liver. If you eat the leaves is will help you to get read of extra water in your tissues. Search the web for more info on Dandelion and other plants that support the liver.

You have to consider Swedish bitter internally and also externally as a compress on the liver -it may fix the jaundice. It is possible that after the bladder surgery some of the bile ducts got blocked (inflammation or bad surgery)

@Tracy: Here is a link http://www.liversupport.com/ that provides lots of info as well as products specifically helpful for liver conditions. Also, Swanson Foods has a formula "Milk Thistle Combination" that I personally recommend in your condition as it will help rebuild the liver as well as strengthen the kidneys and promote diuresis. Also on the must list is Cooked or Raw Liver. Some find cooked liver difficult to eat, but I have found the cooked chicken liver at KFC (Cournel's Recipe) to be more in the direction of delicious. Raw Liver Glandular or Liquid Liver Extract is a supplement taken by mouth and will greatly increase liver cell regeneration when used in combination with the herbal formula of your choice.

Liver Damage Treatment

Hi, I am new to this site and while it has a wealth of information I think I am in need of some advice and guidance. I am a cancer survivor but only learned about alternative treatments after the radical mastectomy and chemo but at least now if it comes back I know I won't go that route. The advice I need is for a good friend that has liver disease. He has no insurance and not much money and the doctors have given him 6 months. He has done some chemo (I don't know why, it's not cancer) but it's been several months. He does not have hepititis. I firmly believe that there is still hope for him but am a little overwhelmed with so much information. For instance, I don't think he should do a strong detox for fear of overloading his already damaged liver so what would be a safe, slow detox for him? What all treatments here should I try? A few? All of them together? I certainly don't want to make the poor man worse! Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Depending on what kind of liver disease your friend has, there are two treatments that have given success. Dr. Burt Berkson (google him for more information) has used Alpha Lipoic Acid and low dose naltrexone to regenerate and heal liver disease. Oscar, on this site under Hep C & B and other lipid coated viral diseases, has a BHT program that has worked for many, including himself. These therapies are NOT used together. The BHT works best by itself or with a few vitamins or supplements. (See what Oscar recommends, but I think he mainly stresses BHT by itself, at least in the morning with water only. ). The ALA and LDN work as a separate therapy, not in conjunction with the BHT. Best wishes.

Thanks so much! That was what I needed to know! I decided to do the Milk Thistle, Alpha lipoic acid and selinum combo. He said the damage is from heavy metals mostly and probably fatty liver as well (I suspect). I am having him drink 1Tbls baking soda, 2 Tbls apple cider vinager in 8 oz. of good water each morning. I want him to take some cold pressed, organic flax seed oil and organic virgin coconut oil but I don't know the proper amounts for those yet. I am having him use the coconut oil as his only cooking oil tho. My health food store has PH water so I got 4 gallons to start and also Acqua Panna spring water because they sell it in glass bottles. Starting out having him take 500 mg Milk thistle (the one I bought also has liver powder) with breakfast and lunch and will build up to 900 mg per dose. Also 300mg Alpha lipoic acid 2x a day and Selinium 200 MICRO grams 2x a day. There seems to be some confusion as to the correct amout of Selinium to give, depending on which post you read. Some say micro grams and some say milli grams so I figured starting with the lowest dose would be the safest route. I got him a good multi vitamin and extra C and B complex. He is to eat fresh organic vegitables, as much raw as possible. Good water, dandilion root tea and green tea. No processed foods, no canned foods, no sugar of any kind so fruit extracts only. Not much meat and it must be drug free and GMO free. After a few weeks if he seems like he is able I wanted to try the beet root protocal altho it scares me a little because I'm afraid it might tax his liver too much so we will see. Well this is the plan thus far. If you notice something we should be doing but aren't please let me know. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks again!

Hi, you should google for cannabis oil. It treats almost every ailment. I know it isn't available everywhere but when you want it you will get it! In the Netherlands it is 'accepted' to grow 5 plants if there is a medicinal need for it. When you can grow the plants you can make the oil yourself. I already saw some American websites selling products with cannabinoiden but they are very expensive! All legal products with cannabinoiden are made under license of a patend which is owned by the US government.

I mis-spelled it... Reduced glutathione. It essentially allows the body to bypass a conversion steps necessary when versus other forms of glutathione so used directly by the body. One of the reasons why acetaminophen damages the liver is because it depletes the liver of glutathione. When glutathione is depleted, great amount of damage is done to the liver.

NO antibiotics or drugs fed animals... Also 200-400 mgs plant based selenium if very important. Depending on his weight drink 2-4 quarts of good water. I would like to add this to the excellent advice offered by Mr. Rhee. Dr. Burt Berkson is THE expert in treating liver disease and has many videos on the Internet with his treatment protocol. He has had his own office for years in Los Cruses, NM. He began his career by saving the lives of two people who had eaten poison mushrooms and was told to document their deaths. Instead, he contacted the CDC, got the necessary drugs, treated the patients and they are both alive today thanks to Dr. Berkson. For his efforts, his supervising doctors had no interest in what he had done to save the lives of these two people, and instead criticized him for not following orders.

The liver is remarkably restorative, so if you apply the precisely needed remedies you will get much better.

Also, for immediate help with the kidneys, drink Cranberry Juice or take Cranberry softgels, or supplement D-Mannose.

And to add to Steve's suggestion of Coffee enemas, I always get best results by adding a few drops of otc Povidone Iodine.

Hi Timh; Please consider this: Stop the detox and chelation. It could be depleting vital nutrients.

Stop or minimize zinc supplementation. It could deplete copper too much and cause neuropathy from copper deficiency.

Discuss with Naturopath about getting B12 injections.

I'm concerned that the numbness could spread to your hands and organs. This happened to me, and I do not want it to happen to you.

Thanks Tim, I appreciate your consideration.

Ascorbic acid (Vit. C), in sufficiently high doses, staggered over the course of the 24 hour day, has the potential to do amazing things:

And a quote:

"Ascorbic acid is a potent detoxicant which counteracts and neutralizes the harmful effects of many poisons in the body. It will combat various inorganic poisons, such as mercury and arsenic, and it neutralizes the bad reactions of many organic poisons, drugs, and bacterial and animal toxins. Ascorbic acid detoxifies carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, and carcinogens...."

Connie: have you not rather used the sublingual method for B-12 ?? over "injections". My neuropathy hasn't "spread" for some 12 yrs now, so I don't expect this, but it could be possible. As for absorption, after taking only two doses of Nystatin my absorption and digestion seem greatly improved. As for Zinc, the ND recommended as very important, especially for immunity. I also take copper to maintain a balance. I always take EDTA at least 2 hrs away from other minerals. I guess it's all a method of using medicinal allies to one's own advantage. Without much for diagnostics one must be very sensitive as to how one "feels".

After getting a heads-up from an E.C. member on the power of Magnet Therapy a few days ago, I realized that my Liver issues needed the extra power so I have been using a very strong magnet for about 4 days now. Daily wearing a Magnetic Belt, increasing Milk Thistle, adding Artichoke and Turmeric over the last few months hasn't seemed to provide much relief. Also, I have gone back to a Liver Tonic designed by the master herbalist Dr. Christopher as I have had good results in the past. These two treatment protocols have markedly and speedily increased my over all health and vitality.

The Dr. Christopher Liver/Gallbladder Formula is:

Prickily Ash Bark - Peppermint leaves - Ginger Root -Barberry Bark - Wild Yam Root - Cramp Bark - Catnip. I couldn't purchase the Catnip, and added Chaparral - Schizandra Berries - Artichoke Leaves. One small spoon twice daily and I can feel the difference. I use the menthol cough-drops occasionally and take D-Limonene daily to keep those green cholesterol stones melted. Also use Lecethin and extra Choline/Inositol. Will soon do the dreaded Gallbladder Flush and report results.

Specifically, my B. P. reading tonight was 128/78 which is way down from 168/108 range 3 weeks ago and many months prior. Evidently the blood flow from scarred and fatty liver tissue obstructs not only bile flow but also blood flow affecting B. P. Throughout the body. I also place the strong magnet over the heart area (I have for many months occasional low pain here despite CoQ10 & Carnitine) for only a few moments. Hulda Clark warns not to use magnets on heart but I only seem to have benefited.

I am experimenting the strong magnet on different areas of the body for detox w/ good results so far (except the die-off of headache and kidney pain).

For once in the last 2 yrs, I am beginning to see a glimpse of hope in recovering at least a sustainable level of health, all in the item of that one important organ ---the Liver.

Hi Timh, Wow! Congratulations to you. All your perseverence is paying off! I did a search on the Dr. Christopher formula. It has so many good reviews I just may try that. I too, use a magnet belt everyday. It's this awesome magnet belt with far infrared heat and emf protection in it as well. It's expensive but worth it! It really makes a difference.

Again, congratulations on making a breakthrough! Lisa

Hi Timw of Louisville, You have made my day with your post. I have been worried about you for a long time now, and am so happy to hear that you have found something that is improving your health. I'm sure many others share my best wishes. You have helped so many people with your time, advice and experience, and it's wonderful to hear that things are looking up for you. Take care.

Lisa, thank you very much for your concern and encouragement, which definitely plays a role in the healing process. I still feel the blockage in the Gallbladder and have begun juice fast as of now and will flush tomorrow night; if successful I will have a standing chance at winning the battle against heavy metals, parasites, and fungal infection.

Yes, for now it is a breakthrough; I actually feel like half a man standing w/ muscle and bones. I can actually feel the presence of STATURE which has been missing I don't know how many yrs.

As for Dr. Christopher, I suppose ALL his various formulas are beneficial. I think the Nature's Way Kidney/Bladder formula is his, and it does restore my kidney functions which are continuously compromised.

Thanks again and good health to you.

Hi Timh, I think it's so awesome how many people have responded to your post! And think of all those that are sending their positive thoughts your way and haven't posted! This definitely plays a positive role in healing. You have Gregg Braden, Bruce Lipton, Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson and so many present day voices speaking on this... Not only have you made a breakthrough for yourself but you raise the light for others as well! Whenever anyone has a breakthrough we give strength and encouragement to those who are searching themselves. I know when I read on EC from a woman who said she no longer had fibromyalgia due to stem cell therapy, it opened a whole new avenue of hope for me which led me to my answer! May everyone be encouraged and know the answers are there, we only need to be open to them. Blessings on all, Lisa

Timh, I don't know if you have ever used or researched melatonin, as it is highly protective of the liver through multiple pathways, and like arginine and nac, has a very good safety profile, probably even better than nac or arginine. Melatonin is produced naturally by the human body, but that production diminishes with age. Melatonin receptors are now thought to exist throughout the body. Melatonin is also anti-inflammatory as well as a potent antioxidant and it also increases the natural antioxidants of the body, such as SOD and glutathione which are highly protective of the body as a whole.

Here is an article that gives a partial description of melatonin's potential as relates to liver protection:

http://www.wjgnet.com/1007-9327/full/v16/i48/6087.htm

There are many studies showing multiple health benefits from pharmacological dosing of melatonin in humans. From the studies I have read, melatonin appears to be safe even at very high dosing levels. I have taken as much as 70 mg per day for several months myself, but I have seen studies where as little as 10 mg per day has shown benefit in humans.

Melatonin is also protective of the brain and kidneys and shows potential to be helpful in multiple health issues.

Here is a study where melatonin was used on patients with NASH using a very low dose of only 10 mg per day total with positive results:

http://www.jpp.krakow.pl/journal/archive/12_10/pdf/705_12_10_article.pdf

I have seen other studies where it has shown itself to be helpful for NAFLD also. Just do appropriate searches and the benefits will become readilly apparent. There are hundreds of melatonin studies which should leave little doubt as to the potential health benefits and safety of melatonin.

Lastly, melatonin is relatively cheap.

I hope this information may be of some use to you!

Art, thanx very much for the Melatonin info; and the links. Having first began loosing my health as far back as 1993-4 I started using Melatonin I think in 1996 w/ noticeable results. As a matter-of-fact, I was so ill in those times that I had lost sense of night/day and the seasons; and when I started the M those senses were immediately restored; I've been using 3-6mg daily ever since. A few yrs ago it was speculated that low dose M was sufficient for daily use, but now it seems the towel is in for higher doses especially in disease states. I have been considering upping my dose and now that you've informed me I certainly will.

Does 5HTP stimulate Melatonin release by the Pineal??? For a sleep aid, I have recently been using 5HTP as M doesn't seem to work as it once did in my case.

Thanx again as I am desperate for solutions to get out of these trenches, or pass on to a better life.

Timh, Here is a link to a 2010 study abstract where children with DMD were given 70mg of melatonin per day.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20210854

Here is a followup abstract from 2011:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21515247

It was a very small study, but the results were fairly impressive. Again, no serious side effects. I'm not sure about 5HTP, but L-Tryptophan will increase melatonin levels. It is however significantly more expensive than melatonin. For me, 5HTP seems to have a relaxing effect. It puts me in mind of GABA in terms of the way it makes me feel.

As far as working as a sleep aid, melatonin only helps me fall asleep, but I can easily wake up an hour or two later. I think melatonin can help break the viscious cycle of runaway inflammation and oxidation, that is prevalent in so many disease states, and allow the body to get closer to a healing state. As long as inflammation and oxidation are feeding on each other in that cycle, healing is difficult if not completely impossible imo. It may allow everything else you are trying, to just get enough of an edge on inflammation and oxidation to increase your rate of healing and help you on your road to recovery. Good luck!

Hi Timw from Louisville, The Yahoo LDN Group has many personal accounts of people who were in similar condition as you describe, and have done much better on LDN. (www.ldninfo.org). It is an immune modulator and allows the body to do a better job at healing itself. It can be taken with any other drugs except opiate based ones, because it occupies the same receptors and will always get there first, which can throw a person on opiates into an dangerous withdrawal. It is like a vitamin pill and needs to be taken daily, but the dose is very small. It has no side effects except vivid dreams for a week or so, and a few have difficulty sleeping (most sleep much better), in which case it can be taken in the morning instead of at night. It is sometimes difficult to get a prescription unless the MD is LDN literate, some MD's will prescribe with a phone interview after receiving records, or can be ordered at ALLDAYChemist. Com, India, and others. You take 1.5 mg to 4.5 mg per day. An MD can prescribe the pills which cost about $30 per month or 50 mg pills can be mixed with 50 ml distilled water to yield 1 mg LDN per 1 ml solution. The desired dose is withdrawn with a child's medicine dropper. I have Julia Schopick's book, "Honest Medicine, " which describes it (and Alpha Lipoic Acid) and I can mail it to you, if you want to read it. My email is autoimmuneohio(at)yahoo.com if you want any additional information. Hang in there. We are all on your team.

Rsw, thanks for the tip on LDN. I have familiarized myself w/ this drug here on E. C. and have considered it very possibly a canditate for resolution in my difficult case; as a matter of fact I told myself today that my next Dr visit would include mentioning this item. I am certain I have suffered from some type hepatitis as natural treatments bring temporary resolve; from this I suppose Chronic Active Autoimmune Hepatitis. Then there's the chronic infections that are severe to the point of disability. I currently take many different natural antibiotics and immune boosters as well as Thymus support all w/ negligible results. Have recently had fair results w/ Triple Mushroom Extract and am going to research those expensive Beta Glucan and Active Hexose Correlated Compounds among other specialty mushroom products. If anyone has had good results w/ these please respond w/ your story.

I have, in times past, had good results w/ 7-Keto DHEA for immune balancing but as of late EVERYTHING has gone down hill, but I still take at least Pregnenalone or regular DHEA.

For now, I must find a physician that will treat folks in my category of "Chronic Fatigue"; if not I will revert to the long distance rout that you suggest.

Thanx very much again as I am currently much in need. Hope you are well.

Art, thanx again as I am definitely suffering the inflammation and oxidation cycle. 2 yrs ago my cytokines were off the chart. My oxidative stress levels are so bad that I have Peripheral Neuropathy so bad that I require a can to walk. I cannot experience the sense of pleasure, a condition I think is labeled "a-hedonia"; same goes for peace & relaxation.

I do feel the benefit of the two 3mg dose I currently take, and so I am going to at least double that dose at your proposal. If I am not mistaken 5HTP does stimulate the Pineal Gland to release Melatonin; a searched this for someone here on E. C. some time back, but my mind is not 100% so I could be wrong.

Thanx again as I am in much need now. Hope you are well.

Hi Timh... I just thought that I would suggest a few possible remedies that might help your condition generally.

First I just wanted to draw your attention to some new research on Vitamin B3. They have found that larger orthomolecular dosages of B3 can increase the effectiveness of the immune system by a factor of 1000. This fact alone will help your body to more effectively defeat any pathogen -- not just hep c -- in your body. B3 should always be taken with B50 or B100 complex for its synergistic effects. You mention taking 5HT or tryptophan supplementation in your posts which I heartily agree with. Tryptophan also produces smaller amounts of B3 which, in larger orthomolecular dosage, also helps to cure depression.

To reduce the oxidative stress on your body and to eradicate excess and damaging free radicals it makes sense to radically increase the levels of anti-oxidants like glutathione, glutathione peroxidase, super-oxide dismutase and vitamin c etc in the body. This will benefit your liver and help to reduce inflammation and damage. So taking supplements like selenium, NAC, ALA and milk thistle as well as manganese, zinc and vitamin c will all help. Even just supplementing one or two drops of clove oil in water will benefit you. Clove oil is the strongest anti-oxidant in the world. Vitamin C has an ORAC value of about 80, 000 and oregano oil has an ORAC value of about 539, 000. Clove oil has an ORAC value of 10 million.

Lastly, I would advise that you take Chanca piedra daily. I know this herb well. It has a history of curing Hep B(which can also co-exist, undetected, with Hep C ). There was a recent post by Alicia from Syracuse -- she used LDN with Chanca piedra and a careful diet with wonderful results. CP is an anti-viral that eradicates viruses by inhibiting their reverse trascriptase enzyme, thus preventing them from reproducing. CP also acts as a viral binding inhibitor. Research has also established that CP is highly protective for liver hepatocytes -- the worker cells of the liver. CP also has beneficial hypolipidemic, hypoglycemic, calcium channel blocker(excess calcium inhibits iodine uptake), anti-oxidant and hypotensive action and is a mild diuretic that uses the urinary pathway. Chanca piedra can be taken as a tea throughout the day or as capsules, 1000 mgs at every meal. A good organic source of CP should be used.

Just some ideas that might help you.

Bill, I always enjoy reading your posts! Thanks for the link. I am a niacinamide/nicotinamide fan and user and your links really interested me, but I didn't see anywhere in the article where it talked about what type of dosage they thought it would take in actual human use to replicate their study results on the mice. I have been interested in and used niacinamide for awhile, but have always thought that it could do liver damage at higher dosing in the 4 to 5 gram per day range. I haven't been able to find a lot of good information on niacinamide toxicity in humans. Here is a link that discusses it briefly and it seems like they are suggesting that 3 grams per day may be the point where adverse reactions may start to occur. That would be very limiting if it is correct.

Hi Susan... Both niacin and niacinamide are equivalent with some differing properties which I will mention. Both niacin and niacinamide are useful for the production of energy in the NADP(Niacinamide adenine dinucleotide phosophate) energy cycle but niacin occurs earlier in this process than niacinamide.

The main difference between niacin and niacinamide is that niacin causes a flushing effect and dilation of the peripheral capillaries in a similar way that eating hot chilli or capsiacin does. This improves the blood transport of nutrients and oxygen to all parts of the body and is beneficial in this respect. But most people don't like this flushing effect although it will not harm you and is indeed beneficial and evidence that your capillaries have suddenly opened up more. For this reason, niacin has all the attributes of niacinamide plus one other attribute that niacinamide does not have. When you take niacin, not only does it dilate peripheral capillaries but it also changes and thins the blood and gets rid of thick or "clumping blood". This is how niaicn thins out the blood safely. Niacin is also well known to help reduce cholesterol and benefit heart disease. This is not to detract from using niacinamide form which is also highly useful for digestion problems, CNS, extra energy and many other problems. So for circulatory problems, niacin is the one to use, otherwise their beneficial effects are more or less equivalent.

Bill, thanx so much for your reply as I certainly need help w/ this complex & severe condition. I am taking lots of B-3 Niacinimide 5oomg 1x, B-100 1x, NAD 25mg 1x, 1 gram C (I think I can up this now that iv'e cleared the gallbladder and the acidosis isn't so bad). Am taking Grapeseed Extract, SOD, NAC, Melatonin, MSM, BHT 250 mg 1x --(I do get positive results).

My liver enzymes are normal and i've never been diagnosed w/ hep (but maybe that needs rechecking, do you think?), No sign of jaundice. I purchased some Chanca Pedra extract but it is in alcohol and I totally cannot detox any alcohol so I guess I must boil it off but it seems this will help as my Calcium levels were off the charts 1 yr ago as was my Manganese and all other minerals and metals low. My thyroid goes way down then it comes back up. I supplement Iodine and Tyrosine but I must be careful w/ the T as it raises my B. P. (which is getting better). I started using a standard caps of Clove along w/ Black Walnut Complex for the parasites but it doesn't last long as I cannot taste or smell it afterward as I sometimes have. Also, I think Clove inhibits detox enzymes and I am already taking Turmeric which does inhibit phase 1; but I do take D-Limonene to boost 1 & 2. I also take St John'sWort occasionally w/ L-Lysine to inhibit viral. Fungal & bacterial issues are obvious and I cannot take enough of anything to regain any stamina or bowel health. I am going to try Colloidal Silver once again, as I dropped it many months ago because of gastritis, but that is better now. I am reluctant to use MMS but it looks like I must at least do an 8 drop (my threshold) dose 1x. Am getting back to the DMG but am uncertain of using it and TMG, would you know anything about this? The DMG seems to really help my immunity. I recently read that Organic Germanium is good antioxidant booster and ozygenator, can you confirm this as I am willing to try.

Thanx again for your help as I have somehow spiraled down about as far as I can go. Fortunately my blood counts have remained in normal range. I had 21 units of blood transfusion in 1997 and somehow recovered from aplastic anemia and do not want to go back there again. Is the Astragalus Root good for the bone marrow?

Ted, I read your reply to Timh and would like to know how much B-3 you would recommend?

I have hepatitis C and Poly-Neuropathy. I got PN 13 months ago and am now having trouble walking. Much stabbing pain and calf and feet cramps, and tingling, even in my arms.. 24/7. I don't want to go on drugs, but the pain is horrific. Much muscle atrophy. Lost 30 pounds of muscle in a year. Legs shrunk.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

BTW.I have tried magnesium, potassim ACV, and every other remedy for cramping on the site. I believe it may be from the inflamation from my hep-c. My enzymes are 96 and 187. No symptoms at all with hep-c. Energy fine, no jaundice, pain or swelling, appetite OK. Will try Chanca Piedra..

Also I tried clove oil previously and it made my heart race terribly. Would it have a positive effect if I used it transdermally? Maybe going into an untried frontier.

Thank you much. I'm a newcomer to this site... Wish I found it a few years ago...However...

Hi Timh... Just to explain that my own way, with respect to curing serious auto-immune or infectious disease is essentially to fully protect and restore the functions of the intestines, kidneys, liver and thyroid. In short, protecting the intestines ensures proper functioning of the nutritional pathways and excreted waste. The kidneys look after mineral balance in the blood and also the adrenal hormones. The liver, which is the chemical factory of the body, ensures the purity of the blood by excreting dangerous toxins and waste and the thyroid is the governor of the body's metabolism and also modulates all hormone production in the body and helps to support the immune system. In a nutshell -- if you can ensure the good health of your intestines, liver, kidneys and thyroid then you will also have a healthy and pure blood transport system. Then all you have to concentrate on is delivering the proper nutrients via taking nutrients and sticking to a proper unprocessed food diet.

And no matter how I look at your problem, it always seems to come back to the same reason. The supplements you are taking are all excellent and, as you say, your liver and kidney appear to be functioning properly. You are also taking lugols iodine which helps to support your thyroid.

I think the biggest problem you have at the moment are serious malabsorption issues at the intestine/blood level due to a damaged intestine. This is evidenced by the following:

* No matter what minerals, anti-oxidants or nutrients you are taking which should help your problems -- they seem to all have little effect.

* Continual Calcium problems even though you are dealing with this by taking magnesium.

* You have gastritis and also suspect candida -- which can also be the cause of considerable damage in the intestines and be the reason for digestion problems, food sensitivities or allergies.

Therefore, above all else, you must first concentrate on restoring and healing your intestines in order to restore your nutritional pathways.

Here are some suggestions:

Humic/Fulvic Acid

A prime antiviral, toxin remover, mineral supplier and all round intestinal healer for the body. I use just orgainic Humic Acid(black) that is for the garden because it's so much cheaper than food grade. Just to be careful I also add a few drops of lugols iodine to the humic acid and water mixture to get rid of any pathogens, which also helps detox any heavy metals and halogens in the HA. I have also read positive research which has observed that humic acid helps both anemia and allergies but they really don't know why.

Sea Salt

Few seem to realize realize that sodium, in the form of sea salt and in proper amounts, is essential to the absorption pathways at the intestines/blood and at the blood/cell levels where sodium is traded out of the cell, via sodium pumps or symporters, for other essential minerals. If you don't take enough sea salt, your mineral absorption pathways will therefore be impaired. If you take sea salt then you should also drink more water to help detox the blood in order to maintain proper mineral/water balance. Sea salt also acts like a safe antibiotic in the intestines and delivers many other beneficial micro-minerals safely to the body. Take at least half a tspn of Sea Salt a day with water.

Alkalizing

I think you know all about this. This remedy will act to both help recover your intestines and fight candida.

You should take Ted's bicarb and water remedy 3 times a day, 1/2 hr to 1 hour after finshing your meals. Take the ACV or lemon/lime remedy with bicarb and water in between meals. This will also help your digestion problems which can further helped by regularly taking protease enzymes with betaine hydrochloride at mealtimes as I have recently fully described in this post stream on EC.

Borax

A hormone balancer, fluoride remover and the ultimate fungal killer. Use Ted's Borax Water remedy given in Borax Cures on EC. Borax can also kill mycoplasma, a strange fungal like bacteria that can also infect your intestines as well as the rest of your body.

Magnesium Oil

This can be absorbed transdermally through the skin in large amounts safey -- thus bypassing the necessity of having to be digested and absorbed through your somewhat damaged and ill-functioning intestines. This will definitely help to resolve your calcium problems and tissue pain. Magnesium Chloride will also have many other beneficial effects on you body because it is involved in over 300 enzyme and coenzyme processes. Magnesium is also a very useful antibacterial.

Niacinamide

To help raise the immune system which you already know about. I would take a dosage of 500 mgs 3 times a day at mealtimes taken with B50(once a day). Niacin and niacinamide also helps to kill candida and maintain appetite.

Glutamine

Taken purely because of its beneficial healing efects on the intestines. 500 mgs twice a day with meals.

Aloe Vera Juice

A wonderful intestinal healer.

Diet

Avoid all dairy, sugar and vegetable oil products. Where possible -- eat non-processed food.

Since you don't really know what all the problems are, I have tried to ensure nutrients that heal the intestines but also nutrients that will kill fungus, bacteria, viruses as well as mycoplasma in your intestines and body. Supplementing lugols iodine, as you are doing will also help the intestines in this respect. The whole point of the above protocol is just to heal your intestines but the protocol will also have other benefiicial effects against problems like candida, gastritis etc I've also tried to keep my suggestions as cheap as I can for you.

Timh; Part of my post to you got edited by the forum moderator... Most especially the part that contained a list of aersol-type chemtrail metals, found in the Arizona air (test location) in 2010.... MANGANESE was measured at 582 times the EPA allowable limit for manganese!!! Arsenic was 418 times the EPA allowable limit. (note:... I will resubmit that list; see further below)

So; you don't need to have been necessarily been exposed to manganese thru your jobs. You have been drenched in manganese from the sky above you, courtesy of you're government. Perhaps some of your symptoms are also arsenic poisoning symptoms.... From the same source. [chem-trail sprayings] Just look up at the sky and see them there.. Every day; day-in, and day-out.... for the past 10 years.

Some doctors are giving pyroluria patients 250 mg zinc per day ...... you mite cautiously investigate that possibility, since zinc is found to reduce manganese in the blood, tissues.

in reply to 10/06/2012: Wayseeker from Modesto:

Wayseeker; yes, I think wheatgrass juice would be very good to use for detoxification. But zinc is a specific for detoxifying of manganese in the human body. This was found out when people who supplemented with extra zinc were found to be low in manganese. So now we know zinc can lower manganese, drive it out of the body.... your other suggestions would also be very good also, for general heavy metals detoxifying strategy.

-------------------------------------

"A new preliminary draft report by Arizona Skywatch [chem-trail watchdog group] shows dramatic increases in heavy metals that simply do not belong in our air. NOTE: The level of Manganese is so shockingly high that Arizona Skywatch also included additional information about it (see below). This report will be posted online shortly. (3) Here are the prepublication results. [NOTE: the Manganese and Copper ratio. ] This is only a preliminary overview of Arizona air particulates.

2010 Air Particulates: Antimony, arsenic, iron, manganese

These figures indicate how many times they are over the "allowable" toxic limit:

Aluminum: 15.8 [ = 15. 8 X the accepted limit set by the EPA]
Antimony: 63.3 [This is not a typo]
Arsenic: 418 [This is not a typo]
Barium: 5.3
Cadmium: 6
chromium: 6.4
Copper: 9
Iron: 43.5 [This is not a typo]
Lead: 15.7
Manganese: 513.8 [This is not a typo] = 513.8 X the EPA LIMIT.
Nickel: 10.7
Zinc: 7.5

"These figures show that there is no air "quality" [a word meaning: excellence or worth]; but instead, there is a combination of hazardous metals permeating the air.

Timh; I thot I had read once where you stated that you were extremely sensitive to alcohol.... But I could not find a quote to verify it. As I remember; the quote was about not being able to take herb tinctures made with alcohol....... but maybe I am remembering wrong.

Question: are you extremely sensitive to tiny amounts of alcohol hidden in tinctures, etc ?

If so, then I had a another idea for you to consider. food for thot.

If not so; .... then it was someone else.

Happy: Your memory serves you correctly on my alcohol sensitivity. Back in the beginning of this yr I wanted to use up some Pau de' Arco in tincture form so I would add a few droppers to a fresh-brewed pot of coffee and hope that letting this steam would rid the alcohol, but evidently I still got small amounts in my body and reached a point of extreme exhaustion (like i've never experienced before). Unable to eat supper or get up from the couch was alarming so I knew I had to find the cause as this was not normal even though I have had chronic fatigue for many yrs. I discontinued the tincture and began taking MolyB along w/ Zinc and extra Niacin w/ good results. Fast forward a few months and one serving of BCAA that contains Xylitol as a sweetener and BOOM I go down immediately. An alcoholic beverage like beer or wine, forget about it; not even half a serving and I am extremely nauseated, dizzy, headache, etc.

Well, theres some event particulars as evidence of alcohol intolerance. Your concern and input is very much appreciated and welcome.

Happy, my apology for not responding to your post on (intended) air pollution. Sadly, this group of info is mostly viewed as "conspiracy theory", when much of it is actually true. I think this is true in part as most people simply live in denial because the truth alone can major disrupt one's lifestyle or happiness.

In particular, unfortunately I have very little in the way of objective diagnostics, but my last yr's hair analysis did show what I previously noted PLUS abnormally high arsenic. It's those high-risk groups or persons like me that have little defenses to these contaminates that suffer most; and are considered hypochondriac because the doctors "can't find anything wrong". Like many problems that plague us humans is that the only solutions to the extreme cases is prevention or death. As for the perpetrators, we can only hope that justice will be served them in the next life, as they are powerless to stop their offensive for the cause of huge financial profits.

Timh; thanks for the reply; I thought I had read that, but then could not find the quote anywhere when I did a search of this website.

The reason for my asking was that I had stumbled across some writings several weeks ago that discussed the fact that in some people, who have had their metabolic enzyme detoxification pathways jammed up by {mostly} breathing environmental and household chemical toxins classified as "aldehydes", like benzene, perfumes, gasoline exhaust vapors, etc etc. Some of these aldehyde compounds are also found in some natural foods. But most are man made chemicals.

alchohol is broken down by the liver, or cells, into aldehydes. Then the liver uses B3 niacinamide as part of a enzyme system ["NAD" system, I think] action to de-toxify the aldehydes by changing them into a less dangerous chemical that can be gotten rid of safely. The toxicity of alchohol is in the toxic aldehyde breakdown product. You get a hang-over from the aldehyde toxins, and not the alchohol per se'.

If you are extremely sensitive to alchohol, or the poly-alchohol xylitol : then that indicates that your aldehyde detox enzyme system is jammed up; is not functioning.

Acetyl-aldehyde is highly toxic to the cells and tissues. It must be broken down quickly to something less toxic, via cellular enzyme systems involving niacin and niacin amides and vitamin B6, etc, etc ; normally to a less toxic compound [can't remember the details at the moment]

Perhaps you have a blocked enzyme system that is responsible for detoxifying both [1] alchohol [2] aldehyde compounds. Now your job is to figure out how to get this cellular metabolic pathway un-blocked. If it is now blocked; you must now be suffering from aldehyde poisoning, at the cell level.

question: does the smell of certain cheap perfumes, colones make you ill ?.... Many of them contain aldehyde compounds.

I think also that automobile gasoline exhaust gases contain aldehyde type poisons. If I remember correctly, I think benzynes in fuels break down partly into aldehydes, or are in fact aldehyde compounds. Do a internet investigation on "aldehyde toxicity symptoms", and see how many of those symptoms match yours. A aldehyde toxicity causes a complete immune system breakdown, and will cause all the symptoms that that will cause. Plus other systems will break down. Get the details on the whole, big, picture. There is a lot of info about aldehyde toxicity on the internet.

In the mid 1990's a guy named William A. Lamb worked in a chemical laboratory, and breathed in a lot of chemical fumes. He got very sick, and was eventually diagnosed with aids = acquired immune deficiency syndrome. At the time, the International medical cartel claimed it was another virus disease, spread by sex contacts. Mr. Lamb done his own thinking, done his own research, and cured himself of the acquired immune deficiency with a protocol of megadoses of niacin, b6, lemons, vit C, ultra violet lite, and several other things. He came to the conclusion that aids was in fact aldehyde and benzyne toxicity. He wrote a book on how he de-toxified his cells of the chemicals. Do a internet search on his name, and read some about his story and his protocol. The book is now out of print. He is now deceased; a heart attack, I heard. There is left on the net copies of archived forums where he posted in, and described his protocol and his theory of why it worked for him.

There is a 2nd guy on the net that followed his protocol and also got well from a severe acquired immune deficiency; he posts on forums as Cal Crilly, and as STAR SLUDGE. You might also do a search on his name.

If your aldehyde detox enzyme system is blocked, then there appear to be methods to un-block it, and get your system back to normal, using natural substances in specific ways.

There is circumstantial evidence that: [1] you have high manganese levels, which has been implicated in mad cow disease in humans, and very serious nerve system disorders type diseases and [2] you [most probably] have a blocked aldehyde detoxification [metabolic enzyme] system; which has been implicated as causing an immune system breakdown, and all that this would entail. If you can detoxify your body from those 2 poisons, you perhaps can get a real cure going.

I thought I would mention these clues to you, in case you could get something useful out of it, and see some new directions to go in, explore. Of course, everything is probably more complicated than what I suggest above; but it is food for thought. I wish you well.

Happy, you are so correct it seems, as if from sincerity alone, concerning my condition. A few months ago I gathered two notepads of info on alcohol as well as aldehyde detoxification including diagrams. So I began taking NAD, Molybdenum, FAD, and Niacinamide w/ little benefit overall. As I have previously reported I think my problems started w/ my mother being over-prescribed a diuretic drug during pregnancy back before it had much history of patient usage. I have always been a slow learner, have difficulty apprehending language (especially from young children) even though my hearing checks out fine. Always experienced motion sickness very easily. Experienced more cold and flu episodes much more often than my family or peers. Got very ill the first time I drank beer to get intoxicated (a 6 pack if I remember correctly). I eventually became able to drink responsibly and recreationally w/ some degree of moderation, but I was never able to keep pace w/ the hardcore drinkers, as I would get very sick before I could get very intoxicated. Have always been quite sensitive to pharmaceutical drugs so I always use low doses. Over time my health deteriorated and I experienced "toxicity" issues that eventually led to Aplastic Anemia, Pancytopenea, Myleophistic Leukemia. Made a miraculous recovery from near death and stabilized for about one decade until a recent rapid decline once again despite natural and nutritional therapies.

It's evident you are also correct on the complexity view. So it's a multilayered complex and sever chronic illness that requires all of the study and application I can give it. My current approach is treat all layers at once and aggressively in the effort to overcome one layer at a time (backward from the downhill spiral of the disease process).

I didn't intentially neglect your expressions on intentional pollution and responded w/ a somewhat lengthy rant on conspiracy, but E.C. did not find it appropriate for the boards so it got deleted.

Thanks for your concern and info as it will undoubtedly play a role in any progress I might make.

Timh; I know what you mean by part or all of a message being deleted. I've had that happen a few times also. I guess the earthlinic management have to watch their backs also; from being attacked by the medical cartel, and their fda attack dog.

I would say you are rite-on about the diuretics affecting the health of the un-born child, and interfere with that childs bio-chemistry.

From memory:

William A. Lamb used mega-doses of B3 = niacin = nicotine. (I have not been able to determine if he used the acid form of nicotine, or the amide form of nicotine ) His recommended dose was 10 grams per day.

He also used 10 whole lemons, peelings and all, per day. I assume he blended them in a blender first. He also used b6, Vit A, carotene, Vit C, and several other supplements, along with 30 minutes of exposure to ultra-violet light per day. The ultra-violet lite was to provide a external energy source to use to knock the electrons from some of the molecules of aldehyde, so they could be de-stabilized at their molecular bonding site of the electron shell of the molecules. this allowed the metabolic enzyme pathway to intercede and neutralize them.

He said he took the b3 dose to head-ache tolerance, and added more when he could tolerate more.... up to 10 grams per day.

I copied and pasted his forum messages on a text document to save them. If you are interested, I could paste the info into 1 or more emails and send them to you. (like to a junk, or temporary, type email address ) This would save you some research time.

As for the manganese, it is well established by nutrition studes, that zinc will drive manganese out of the system. I assume a lot of manganese in a system would require high-er doses of zinc than recommended for healthy people. Some people are using up to 250 mg zinc per day to treat pyro-luria. So something in that range mite be needed in treating manganese toxicity.

Arsenic detoxing I haven't read up on. But I am sure there are some protocols around for it. The arizona chem-trail study detected 418 times the epa allowable limit for arsenic in their analysis. And remember, these metals and odd chemicals in the chem-trail vapors are nano sized, Meaning they have been ground to a fine dust that can enter your skin pores and go directly into your blood, and into the blood brain barrier. Nano technology. These things are not just landing on your food , and that can therfore be washed off. Instead they are drifting in the wind, and landing on your skin & lungs and being absorbed directly into your blood. Diabolical.

quote: " ... I experienced "toxicity" issues that eventually led to Aplastic Anemia, Pancytopenea, Myleophistic Leukemia.... " Did you know that one of the side effects of benzine toxicity is leukemia ? Do you live downwind of a oil refinery ? [ I think benzine is a aldehyde compound of some sort, plus other non-benzine gasoline components have aldehydes in them, I think ].

Other than that cause; these blood disorders are making me think of nuclear radiation damage. Do you perhaps live near a U.S army base where depleted uranium bombs are stored, or tested ? ..... Or did some doctor or hospital over-expose you to massive x-ray doses? [thats more nuclear radiation source]

3rd radiation source: on 3/11/11 the japanese fukishima nuclear reactotrs melted down, 3 reactors, not just one. The nuclear fallout upon the entire USA is still on-going. It has never let up; those 3 nuclear reactors are still spewing forth nuclear materials into the air and sea water. Un-abated. Massive quantities, far exceeding chernobil amounts. 10 million deaths, or more, from it are expected. perhaps the end of our civilization, as we know it. Massive cover-up by all national governments & news media. [here we go; another conspiracy theory or conspiracy fact ] Did your latest set-back begin about 30 days (or more) after the fukishima nuclear disaster?... About 4-11-11 ? Your blood cells damages sounds like nuclear radiation damage to me. [amature speaking] That should be easy to verify; by checking what the side effects of radiation damage on cancer patients are.

good luck.

Happy: thanks again for your input and concern as there is certainly a lack of those qualities in my immediate vicinity.

I am slowly increasing my Niacin and hope for breakthrough results.

Through out my chronic illness there has been a prominent lack of diagnostics and professional intuition to have experienced resolve. A Minnonite Naturopath Iridologist twice diagnosed (generally) "parasites". I got good initial results w/ Nature's Sunshine "Parascleanse" but only months latter contracted a fungal infection.

No, I began my recent decline at the end of 2008. 2010, 11 was like a dark-out or 2 yrs subtracted from my life as I only endured the suffering. I take mineral baths w/ added Baking Soda as well as take Rutin & Sarsaparilla, and many minerals by mouth including Ionic Trace to combat radiation (which I think has played a minor role as I have suffered acidosis for a long time which results in mineral depletion which invites radiation). Nothing substantial for Benzene, but I have had some sensitivity (and maybe some other major problems) w/ the chem. (smells like benzine) from (of a seeming unlikely source) rubber mousepads.

Chronic Active Viral Hepatitis continues to be a problem especially if I am not being successful at the other levels. The BHT worsens my Alcohol detox (we naturally produce about 3-5 grams per day as a results of food (energy) metabolism. I seem to be able to tolerate no more than 250mg 1X day which isn't quite enough. So I use other protocols for the hep w/ pretty good results. Speaking of which I have begun using Shilajit Extract Fulvic Acid w/ immediate good results and found reported that it is an excellent anti-viral (along w/ many other benefits). Fulvic Acid could easily be a number one single cure all on the planet. Bill highly recommends and we welcome all the info he wishes to disclose on this miracle nutrient.

As for the metals, I need to re-check by hair analysis. My Zinc needs seem to decline as my health betters. I get nausea sometimes at 100mg levels.

As for fungus, I have only recently had good results w/ pharmaceutical grade parasite medication (along w/ herbs and zapping) which has allowed good results w/ fungal treatments especially the use of binders like Brown Seaweed/Sodium Alginate or Chitosan that prevent fungal spores from reentering the bloodstream thru the intestines. Without capturing the spores my aldehyde levels skyrocket to occasional "hangover" mode.

I do get noticeable good results from Sun exposure and I might add to your hypothesis the possibility of a reduction of the fungal molecule Ergometrine in that pathway to Vit-D metabolism. I have recently increased Biotin as it has been shown to arrest the latter stages of fungal development. Am also re-entertaining the use of the plant alkaloid Berberine as I have had good results in the past. Haven't seen much post for it here on E. C. but Dr. Murry highly recommends for infections. Will avoid long-term use so as to not inhibit the B-Vitamins. Other naturals like Iodine, Boric Acid and Caprylic Acid help. Have purchased some Turpentine and will experiment w/ this remedy thru the winter;(will post findings or results) And then there's also the likelihood of Mycoplasma infection as both you and Bill intuited. A very much weakened immune system and lung function was noted during one phase of major decline.

The recent Magnet, and Christopher Liver Herbal was a major step up from the bottom (I continue these daily) and I am slowly building some momentum (thanks to all the help I have been getting here on E.C. ). I encourage folks who read this post to experiment w/ strong magnets for liver disease (especially Cirrhosis) as inflammation is what is postulated as the leading cause of the fibrosis process (this hypothesis would fit for any organ that is compromised by the inflammatory condition, elevated cytokines etc.).

I think it's the combination of factors or causes that result in symptoms that don't correlate to one specific textbook illness, yes and even beginning w/ development in the womb.

Anyway, as a result of this lifelong misfortune I have had so much subtracted that I have only recently begun to experience the possibility of personality fragmentation or identity disorder; which can be a good thing if, given return of good health, would allow for more than a new chapter, what the musician Shawn Calvin sings as "A Whole New You". Trying to stay positive and keeping the dream alive.

Hope you are well.

What I have read in these reports describes your entire symptom set... In 2011 your hair analysis confirmed a high arsenic level in your hair. Did not your doctor follow up on this finding of arsenic poisoning that his tests found? If you are being poisoned with arsenic, then you need not look any further for the cause of your dis-ease. From what I am reading of your symptoms, and the experts recital of what arsenic causes, the damages it does to a man, everything you describe can be explained by [the possible] arsenic poisoning of your tissues!

If I were you, I would do everything I could to ascertain if you are in fact being poisoned by arsenic. It is 100 times more important for a patient to find the cause of his distress, than to treat the symptoms.... Because to remove the cause removes the symptoms. No amount of treating the symptoms will stop the cause. And when the cause is found, and eliminated, the symptoms will fall away, get well, on their own; if the damages done is not irreversible. Of course; you must find a way to remove the toxin, and you still mite have to treat the damages left by the now removed cause.

Leukemia in Arsenic Poisoning, CARL R. KJELDSBERG, M. D. ; and HARRY P. WARD, M. D. , F. A. C. P. , 1 December 1972

Aplastic anemia developed in a 67-year-old man after many months' use of arsenic-containing pesticides. He was treated with penicillamine and oxymetholone, which promptly restored his blood count to normal limits. Three months later he again had aplastic anemia, and the urine once more contained considerable amounts of arsenic. Treatment with pencillamine and oxymetholone was reinstituted. This resulted in excellent urinary excretion of arsenic, but his blood count did not improve. Five months after pancytopenia first developed, he had acute myelogenous leukemia, which was treated with prednisone, cytosine arabinoside, and thioguanine. This had no beneficial effects, and he died of klebsiella septicemia. Autopsy showed widespread leukemic infiltrates. Acute and chronic arsenic toxicity

----------------------------------------------------------------
question: what toxins caused your "toxicity issues" about 10 years ago, involving the bone marrow blood cell creation disorders?... have you done any recent tests for those same toxins that made you sick back then? is it possible these same toxins struck again in 2008?
--------------------------------------------------------------
update; things that can reduce manganese in the body: I have learned from the website: http://www.acu-cell.com/femn.html that you can use these minerals and vitamins to reduce manganese; because they are antagonistic to manganese:

Happy: "question : what toxins caused your... " It has never been determined the exact cause as to the toxic substance and as my case seemed to be quite non-text-book and an overemphasis on traditional conventional cancer treatment (i.e. bone marrow replacement) any environmental or toxicological studies were never done as I refused treatment while receiving blood transfusions. How I survived is still in the category of "miracle" and only added to the mystique surrounding the etiology to begin with.

The Arsenic could be a problem as I have a somewhat severe peripheral neuropathy, detox, immune, and digestive impairment. Thanks for the articles and seems like no good news for Arsenic toxicity, but I would bet that the humic/fulvic acid would come as close to being the single best treatment, imho.

Have had blood test for top zenobiotic contaminates w/ nothing showing (1997 test).

Other methods for detox I am currently deploying are the Foot-Pads, Foot-Spa, Oil Pulling. On almost a daily basis I reach a point where some of the "heavy" toxins are released from the liver and back into the bloodstream thru the gut as I can detect this as what seems like being electrocuted. I get this sensation usually down my legs and prominent in the feet (place of highest blood flow); many times I will get an acute headache when this happens. For yrs I would quickly do mineral footbath to reduce the symptoms and help chelate the toxin, but now seem to have good results w/ O.P.

I take 1 grm NAC daily as well as (only) one grm Vit-C. This week was a "no progress" one as my fungal infection raged back into the fore. Tried my first Nystatin yesterday 500, 000 unit cap w/ good results. It seems obvious I will need to make my own Lipospheric Vit-C as my immune system is overwhelmed. Results w/ the Cruciferous antioxidants (like indole 3 carbinol, DIM) are nothing to note so I only use them occasionally. I continue hesitation on MMS for some reason (it doesn't taste "that bad"). An one 8 drop dose daily would help. Jim Humble say MMS is effective against heavy metal as the chlorine dioxide molecule is a very powerful reducer excepting (i think 5) electrons which in turn completely disables the offending free-radical. Sodium Thiosulphate is also becoming part of my protocol.

War on the molecular front for sure.

Hi Timh; It's heartbreaking to read about your continued suffering, especially when you are continuing to devote so much energy to helping folks here.

I see you've tried everything many times over, and that you won't give up. I can't seem to give up either; hope is certainly the main reason, but another reason is ; I just can't stand pain anymore!

I remember that you've written about taking B12, and that you're levels now tested "fine". But one of the fallacies of a B12 serum test is that it only measures what is in the serum, where B12 is least active.

There are many of us who must take extremely high dosages of it to relieve neuropathy. One possible reason for this is that we may be lacking transport proteins to carry B12 into the cells, organs, nerves, etc.

Also, Folate is needed to support B12 metabolism. Many people, from 10% on up of the world's population, may be deficient in the enzyme that converts inactive folic acid to active folate. ( methylfolate) These people may need to take methylfolate as a supplement to be able to use it.

Some recent research has shown that people with impaired methylation tend to accumulate arsenic. This research has shown that folate deficiency is associated with arsenic accumulation.

There are many nutrients needed for proper methylation, including B12 and Folate.

Although they are needed in good proportion to support each other, B12 predominantly supports nerves, and Folate mainly supports tissues.

I suggest that you consider increasing Methylcobalamin and Methlyfolate as much as is needed to relieve neuropathy. ( It has also relieved my liver and kidney pain.)

My B12 is now above 3000 pg/ml. I can no longer use the serum test to indicate my status. I use symptoms as an indicator. Isn't that what we use with other supplements, herbs, etc. ? Sometimes, I find blood serum measurements, in general, to be indefinite... too vague.

My best to you.

Timh; I like the nutritional supplement protocol that you have developed. You are doing a commendable job fine tuning the program to fit your individual metabolism and individual needs. I think you are steering a wise course in carefully selecting non-toxic substances over toxic drugs of dubious long-term value.

If I may be so bold as to offer the opinion of a amature health seeker; then it would be this:
1. given: you fell acutely ill about about 10 years ago, and almost died from sudden on-set multi-systems failure, of a un-known reason. Your AMA union doctors failed to find a cause. They did offer some palliative [stop-gap]measures. Heroic measures. Bone-marrow transplants, toxic chemo-therapies, etc etc. They could not guarantee a successfull cure tho, because they did not find a cause. If you don't know the cause, you can't find a cure. So; what did they offer? a slow painfull death by: cut, poison, and burn [with radiation] process. An income stream for them and their colleagues, for several months of income. You wisely declined that option [in my opinion].
2. Once you declined their professional advice; they wrote you off as being "non-compliant patient". After that they were not really interested in you or your case of leukemia and other blood dis-orders. Altho they mite go thru the motions of allowing you office visits, and charging you for them. They did not offer to give you testing to find the toxin that caused this. They did not want to know what it is, and they did not want you to know what it is. Instead: They wanted you sto comply, to submit, to their authority in the matter.
3. At one point, in 2011, you had some-one do a hair test; that hair test showed you had been subjected to arsenic poisoning. So, we now know you were, or are, poisoned with arsenic. For some odd reason, whoever did the hair test and found the arsenic poisoning, did not offer to do follow-up urine tests for arsenic poisoning, and [aparently] did not reveal to you that every symptom you are having, is a symptom of arsenic poisoning... Even tho you are deathly ill and in-capacitated by your arsenic caused diseases. Multiple dis-eases; all caused by arsenic poisoning. Why that doctor failed to inform you about the effects of arsenic poisoning, and how that arsenic poisoning is causing your present state of multiple organ failures is a mystery. [Perhaps you can now ask him why he failed to inform you of this. ]
4. We now know, from the hair analysis, that you have been poisoned by arsenic at least twice: once about 10 yrs ago, and once in late 2008. Those were 2 times you experienced violent multiple organ failures, all being classic symptoms of arsenic poisoning. There could also be a on-going intake of arsenic by you, over that 10 yrs, in which the amount consumed did not rise to the level to cause severe organ break-down, but did on-going damage, never-the-less. We simply do not know; because you have not yet found the source of the arsenic toxin. You could be getting more arsenic every day. You can not stop it until you find the source of it in your life.
6. Your most important job to do now is to find the source of the arsenic poison in your life, and stop the intake of it. This is 100 times more important than treating the damage, the symptoms. Stop the source and stop all the new damages from occuring. If you can not find the source of the arsenic, then all is lost. All of your efforts to manage the symptoms and heal the damage done will be in vain..... Unless the source is stopped. New intake; New damage.
7. The sources of the arsenic are plentifull. many many sources. Rice is one of them. Read the documents hyper-linked below for all the known sources of arsenic around us. Some people use it to murder other people. You have to find your source of it.
8. Symptoms of arsenic poisoning: I am providing a few internet document links below. I find all of your symptoms fit arsenic.
9. treatment for removal of arsenic from the body: read about some hints to that in the linked documents.
10. I am just a person who knows how to read. I have no direct experience with diagnosing arsenic poison in humans. You have more information about you than I do. If you find that my conclusions about your diagnosis are in error, then feel free to discard them, and take what you find usefull from them, if anything. From my view; you have all the symptoms of arsenic poisoning, confirmed by a hair mineral test. If you get rid of the arsenic, you have a chance at getting rid of the symptoms it has caused.

keep the faith.

monomethyl arsenic acid (MMA(V)). These compounds can kill crabgrass and other unwanted grass types. Arsenic trioxide (AS2O3) is commonly used as an antisecticide. Arsenic acid and arsenous acid are common rodenticides.

The major use for arsenic is in the form of chromated copper arsenate, which reduces termites and ants from wood. Arsenic is used industrially as an additive to glass to reduce coloring, in semiconductors, in pigments such as Paris green (CuHAsO3) and in pesticides. Paris Green is a common name for copper (II) acetoarsenite, which is a toxic emerald-green crystalline powder...
The use has been abandoned around 1960. The III-V semiconductors are very important in the fabrication of LED ´s, tunnel diodes, infrared emitters, laser window and Hall-effect devices. There are no evidence based treatments to reduce chronic arsenic poisoning, but antioxidants have been advocated: Pharmacological interventions such as vitamin C, folic acid, vitamin b12 have been identified to halt the development of arsenic-induced toxicity. More studies are needed. The essential and basic efforts for the reduction of chronic arsenic toxicity are prevention.

Organic rice baby cereal, rice breakfast cereals, brown rice, white rice new tests by Consumer Reports have found that those and other types of rice products on grocery shelves contain arsenic, many at worrisome levels. Following our January investigation, "Arsenic in Your Juice, " which found arsenic in apple and grape juices, we recently tested more than 200 samples of a host of rice products. They included iconic labels and store brands, organic products and conventional ones; some were aimed at the booming gluten-free market.
The results of our tests were even more troubling in some ways than our findings for juice. In virtually every product tested, we found measurable amounts of total arsenic in its two forms...

because of his recent use of herbal medication, we screened for the presence of several heavy metals. Serial analyses of urinary inorganic arsenic concentrations confirmed exposure to arsenic. He was diagnosed as arsenic neuropathy mimicking GBS without any systemic manifestation of arsenic intoxication. Conclusions: The present case study emphasizes the need to consider arsenic intoxication in patients presenting with acute demyelinating neuropathies and histories of herbal medication use.

Happy: I got hair analysis done by ND w/ phone fallow-up and Metabolic diet recommendation (slow metabolizer). The Arsenic levels were just above acceptable levels so he did mention this could become an issue. My previous statement of "abnormally high" could have been misleading. Further testing will be necessary. As for a single cause, you would be correct in the Arsenic as it is very toxic, but there are other causes or toxins involved.

As for the politics of medicine, I was indeed thrust headlong into the Lion's Den of the Corporate Profit Machine. I try to stay courteous and positive in all circumstances, which isn't always easy. My stress levels are always thru the roof.

I forgot to mention I am also taking EDTA caps one or two per day, which should pull that bad Arsenic out as well as Manganese.

One item I think may be causing a problem recently is the herb Wormwood that is in the complex for parasites. I am having this wasting syndrome w/ my muscles, but this could be autoimmune fibro type thing, but I am going to stop the Wormwood for a while and note any improvements. Some Natural health prof's recommend to never use Wormwood as it is mildly toxic. Molybdenum seems to be critical for whatever reason (other than aldehyde detox); something to do w/ Uric Acid creation or metabolism.

Again thanks for the concern and info as I am walking a line of either getting better or worse depending on the accuracy of my diagnostics & treatments.

Connie: thanx for your input and concern. As for methylation I don't know. I am taking different forms of B-12 and Folic Acid; also DMG & TMG. Have been off SAM-e for about 3 months now (cutting cost). My Neuropathy is more numbness than pain (although some pain is always present). I have very little feeling from just above my ankles and below. My feet are almost totally numb all the time.

I hope you are getting better. I cannot recall much of your posts but I do remember a couple just recently. My mind is compromised but sometimes I have a few good days that help to organize and function. What possibly could you benefit from? I want to help but am uncertain if I'm able. I am w/ you on the suffering; it's just been too much for too long. Reading NDE's is my greatest pleasure. Many report that even a lifetime of hardship & suffering is eclipsed by one eternal moment w/ the very powerful love of God, Christ, Angels and the "Magnificent Beings".

Became familar with arsenic posioning while in EDTA Chelation sessions with others. Several were doing chelation to remove the arsenic. One got arsenic from eating chicken. Almost all Big Agri chickens are fed arsenic which makes them eat constantly. Another had arsenic because of his well water. Arsenic occurs naturally is some water and some waters were contaminated when arsenic was used to kill boll worms in tobacco plants. East Tenn, N. C. , and Ky are good examples. The third guy got his arsenic from his wife. He was a very wealthy retiree and his wife wanted to see the world. He did not. She decided she was going to see the world without him. Our Doctor was the one who figured the saga out. He laughed about after he divorced her. The grown kids cried and he did not press charges. How are you and your spouse getting along?

I think you are whistling Dixie when you use oral EDTA trying to remove your arsenic. EDTA Chelation by I.V. 's works for certain. I question what you are doing, but wish you the best.

I.V. EDTA therapy for heavy metal chelation is certainly the most efficient, but least available. If one can find a Dr for I.V. chelation, can afford the time & money for travel & lodging, AND pay the cash needed for the service, then great; but if one cannot fit that bill then oral chelation is the best alternative w/ the exception of rectal liquid EDTA suppositories (which are touted to be way more efficient than oral route).

Method again is key. In order for oral EDTA chelation to be effective one must first "pull" the heavy metals back into the bloodstream where they go to the liver for detoxification. I assume a very minor degree of detox occurs as from Glutathione and the remaining metals gets released back into the bloodstream (from escaping the liver or bilary and absorbed through the gut, and on to it's most favored place (depending on the metal). So this is where the oral EDTA can benefit (like the algae Chlorrella). I would take a dose of EDTA, wait 15 minutes and take a large dose of Cilantro (Coriander) w/ a few spoons of Pineapple for absorption; wait 1-2 hrs then take another dose of EDTA (which can now effectively attract the metals now residing in the bilary).

LOVE milk thistle! As a wine drinker of old, and someone who has always been able to eat and drink whatever and bounce back like a teen, I am staring to get "complaints" from my liver. So switching my diet to liver friendly foods and abstaining from wine AND adding milk thistle has really calmed my liver down. I know there are some Medical professionals who says not enough information has been found to support its safety; it has worked for me for years :)

Milk Thistle and Turmeric will lower your Enzyme levels in your Liver, avoid mixing vinegar and baking soda, and if you've had problems with stomach ulcers do not use aspirin either. Ask your Doctor about Protonix for your acid indigestion.

I noticed that my appetite has decreased (which isn't a bad thing), and I am wondering if any of you experts out there have any feedback as to why the decrease in appetite and cravings?

I had liver pain. I saw a top specialist but nothing was showing. I did have prior mold exposure. ND recommended coffee enemas so I got a Gerson approved mold-free coffee for enemas, but it was making things worse. It took about a year to figure out what to do

Milk thistle, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Selenium, Lecithin, and Cayenne pepper in pill form taken with food did the trick

Poisoning of the Liver Remedies

I was exposed to a poison 10 days ago that has hurt my liver. I have been flushing with lemon water several times a day. Milk thistle and dandelion root extract once a day in the am. Beet juice and fresh beets daily. The poison was an automotive oil eater, basically dissolves oil immediately. I am now having gallbladder pain and can feel a build up of gallstones. I'm drinking ACV and lemon water.

I have received 5 energy healing to great effect, but its still painful.

What else can I do to restore my liver and GB to healthy function. Do you think a Liver GB cleanse would be wise now or wait until the inflamation and pain recede?

Jennifer: The first antidote would be either Activated Charcoal or Bentonite to absorb the toxins so they don't damage the body. Lemon, ACV, and Dandelion will only help the liver expel the poison back into the bloodstream, so I would advise NO on those. Milk Thistle Seed Extract and NAC for several days will help "detoxify" whatever the compound. D-Limonene boost Phase 1 & 2 Liver P-450 Detox Enzyme, so that would likely help.

Read the "warning" label and you might get some useful info.

Update any changes or progress.

I have been doing coffee enemas for something similar. I am not sure if it helps. I feel better, the pressure is gone for about 2 hours before it comes back again. I think I will take the activated charcoal with plenty of rest. Watermelon freshly juiced and eating a daily avocado help reduce the pressure.

Another tip, stay away from gluten for a week. Try to eat only freash raw fruits but mostly veggies. Juicing carrots and green apples helps also reduce liver inflammation. The resuls are felt the next day. Try the following diet:

Breakfast, juice organic carrots and one green apple to make 16 ounces of juice. One egg cooked in coconut oil with mushrooms. Cut up one avacado to eat with eggs and mushrooms. Add onion or a touch of garlic if you like.

Lunch one pack of organic spinach eaten with the [unpasteurized] apple cider vinegar, sesame ginger, and olive oil dressing. Add raw onions, tomato, cut up a red pepper. Add turkey or chicken but a only an amount that will fit in the palm of your hand.

Dinner a big green leafy salad again with a variety of added raw veggies including an avocado. 3 small baked potatoes which I stir butter into in a separate bowl. A freashly made juice of carrots, tomatoes celary and one green pepper .

By the next morning you will feel much better. Try to do this as long as you can.

As of now, I really don't have a choice. The pain and pressure seems to get worse, the more sugary things like doughnuts and coffee and pasta I have been eating the last few days.
