I have a benign meningioma of the brain, had a craniotomy in 2009, had partial resection of the meningioma. Started to take Essiac Tea for 1 month, does help with the pain, instead it cured me of the hemorrhoids, lowered my cholesterol level the bad cholesterol, cured me of a small cyst I had in my nose. Started to take Boswellia Serrata 200mg 1 daily, for 1 month the tumor shrank, very little, does help with the pain. Started to take Pau d Arco, didn't work for me. Started to put on my scalp coconut oil and started to drink coconut daily, for 1 month, didn't work for me. Started to take Cantron for 1 month and then started to take Apricot Seeds or kernels, for 1 month been taking 1 seed daily, they are very bitter. Within six months, I will go for an MRI of the brain to see the results.

Hope your MRI came back well. Just wanted to say that I have been taking high dosages of Boswellia serrata (7200mg per day! ), and this has been really effective in shrinking my brain tumor. I buy the Double Boswellia (800mg) by Swanson's, and take about 9-10 a day. Its good to space them out because you can only absorb so much at any given time. I take 3 pills (800mg each) three times a day. Studies in Germany showed absolutely no side effects with this high dosage, including in children over a 9 month period. Also, Honokiol is extremely effective too, its just really expensive ($70 a month, as compared to $30 a month for the Boswellia dosage). Hope this helps!

My meningioma and schwanommas have been stable for 15 years. They have not grown at all since diagnosed in 2004.

1. I stopped all x-rays & CTs since these tumors are/can be caused by dental x-rays/head x-rays.

2. A neurosurgeon asked to see inside my mouth when I asked what causes these. I had all my silver/mercury amalgams removed.

3. I stopped using cell & cordless phones (what hand do you use vs location of tumors). I bought corded phones and only use the cell for emergencies, keep it in a radiation-protective case, and use a grounded wire headphone with it.

4. Remove all toxins from your house including deodorants, perfumes, lotions, especially petroleum products like Vaseline, dryer sheets, air fresheners and use natural Boswellia oil as an air freshener. Get rid of all the paints and toxins in your basement (offgassing). Use nontoxic cleaners and buy nontoxic clothing and bedding.

5. Eat organic & maximize nutrition. Eat broccoli sprouts (preferably with tomato). Use coconut oil, Esiac, chaga/reishi. Research d-limonene (antimutagen/anticarcinogen). Seems like a lot but worth it (& things a doctor won't tell you).

Hi Nida,

I watched a cancer documentary and there was a lady with a tumor the size of a large egg in her brain where they could not operate.

The lady found out about Frankincense Oil.

She put drops on her finger and rubbed the top of her mouth many times throughout the day.. After 2 months she got another brain scan and it had gone down by 50%. Continued applying Frankensence Oil and the next scan there was no tumor.The brand of Frankensence Oil was-- Now..

My wife was found to have a 3 mm meningioma close to four years ago. She started to take 500 mg of Curcumin (Curcuma longa) Rhizome Extract (BCM-95). In 2 years it did not grow any. Her Dr. is waiting for two years this time for another MRI. I will let you know how it turns out. The MRI will be done in August of 2020.

PS. She is a small lady that weighs only 105 lbs. Depending on your size, you may need to take more.

Please talk to a naturopathic doctor to help you do these protcols safely. For optimum health and well-being, the following protocol needs to be followed: cleanse the colon first, along with then cleansing the liver, kidneys, bladder with herbs. These organs are referred to as organs of elimination.

Also, if possible, get the lungs functioning at optimum level by taking herbs, along with improving functioning of heart and brain.

Stimulate the immune system by taking echineacea, three weeks on, one week off. And blast your cells with superfood nutrition.

Avoid eating dead, processed, canned, boxed foods. Aim to eat fresh, organically grown fruits and vegetables, especially greens. If you can, get organically grown greens and juice them and drink 32 ozs. or more everyday. Grow your own sprouts (which is inexpensive) and then juice the sprouts and drink the juice. Avoid buckwheat sprouts, however since they cause sensitivity to sunlight.

Do enemas and colonics three times a week if possible. Drink pure water. Get the body moving, working up to an hour a day, non-stop, when you can do so with the help of a professional who can advise you to do it safely.

Get essential oils that are the purest, therapeutic oils. Mix a drop or two and rub them on your spine. Do Vita-Flex massage (YouTube has videos on how to do this).

Can also do color therapy to aid in your healing. Foot baths also help. These protocols will not help you in getting well overnight. Sometimes, it takes months of detox to get well or even a couple of years but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Google Dr. Richard Schulze to see the protocols he used. Best of luck to you.

Hi Sara usa - not sure if your question was to me as it was right after my post, but we just started this protocol with my mom in combination with Boswellia + Mystel Toe injections + Vit D daily. The protocol involves homeopathic combination of herbs and this is what we started just this past monday:

1) Ruta Gr. 6CH, in pills, 5 pills a dose, two doses daily, morning and evening.

2) Calcarea Phos 3DH (X), in tablets, 2 tablets a dose, two doses daily, noon and night.

3) Rhus Tox 30CH in pills,

4) Arnica Mont 3CH in pills,

1 dose = 3 pills from each (3 & 4), I.e. 3+3 = 6 pills together, two doses daily noon and night.

this protocol was given to me by Dr. Prasanta Banerji from the Dr. Prasanta Banerji Homoepathic Research Foundation. ( I found several forums, links, posts etc leading to a few positive recovery cases for benign meningiomas) so we decided to give it a try but still keep doing the recommended protocol from the naturopathic doctor, which is Boswellia Serrata (3x daily) + going in to the clinic twice a week for a 50mg Vitamin C Ivy and Daily 3000c of Vitamin D.

her tumor is a size of an egg - it has grown this yr in comparison to last year about 4mm all around. so it is quite a large mass pressing on her lower right side of the brain, and causing all her left side to be weak and ofcourse a lot of problems with balance and walking.

we will wait and see what this combination will do - it is surely expensive having it all combined but worth every penny if it avoids the idea of radiation completely which doctors keep pushing for her to do, even though they say it will only stop the tumor from growing but will not shrink and will cause her short term memory loss within 2 yrs. not even cure one thing fully but cause a million other damages to add to it. Ridiculous!

Went for the mri, brain tumor grew very little. Started to apply externally, on the scalp organic dragon's blood extract (daemonorops draco), in spanish sangre de drago, used it for one month, went for another mri of the brain within a year, and the brain tumor stopped growing. New to this group - diagnosed 4 yrs. ago with benign meningioma. Started at 2 mm and is grown to 6mm. Haven't been to Neurologist as I was told it was common in women over 50. Reality is life and death of family members and care giving have been priorities in last 4 yrs. Now it's time for me... Recent MRI'S shows 6mm from 6 months ago and few weeks ago. Am working on dietary changes and blood sugar levels, pH levels with lemon water and BLACK CUMIN SEED OIL. Interested to know if others have tried this and had any results.

Hi Sam, I am seeing Dr. Douglas Anderson at Loyola -he was the Dr. who originally diagnosed me 8 years ago. I've been having MRI's to check on progress and have an appt. with him to check my last 3 MRI's and reports. Yes, I am absolutely doing the natural approach-I've been vegan for 1 1/2 years, I do essential oils (frankincense mainly on the left mastoid bone & roof of my mouth, and I have a Bemer -a medical device that I lay on for 8 minutes twice a day, and I think it has stopped the growth. I have no symptoms as of yet, and hope to keep it that way..... one Dr.I saw a year ago, wanted to do a 6 hour brain surgery to remove them! Any results? I hope you are doing better. I had a meningioma resection in 2001; just found out that I have a new one growing on the edge of the original tumor site. I am taking boswelia; although a much larger dose than your are taking, as well as turmeric, CBDs and essiac tea. I am considering doing Gerson on top of it all.

Hi to all-I have been following this conversation for some time now, and I, too, have several benign meningioma's (10 or 11) on the left side of my brain and an acoustic neuroma on my left ear, causing hearing loss. I have been following a plant based diet for a year and 1/2 now, have purchased a medical device that I do believe has been successful in shrinking the tumors, tried Essiac tea, essential oils, etc. I will be seeing my neurosurgeon in Chicago who originally diagnosed me 7 years ago. I will bring all my MRI's for him to check out and see the progression. I am curious about the Boswelia to see if that would work. Looking for all alternatives to avoid surgery..... Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I was looking for the BEMER machine but had no luck and too darn expensive. Instead found another machine called "Magna Wave" one of the owners of this machine said, "it cured my husband from the disease. It may be even more expensive but she is a Chiropractor who gives you therapy with this machine. I will let you know how it goes. Blessings

Hi, I had one removed 3 months ago on my lower neck high back, This is my second op and tumor is growing threw spinal chord. I came out of op with out being able to walk. Op was in january. I am now walking with a cane, can walk without but look awkward. Had problems but this was being due to having this op 2 times in my life.

Hi Eve and everyone in this thread I've just been diagnosed with a meningioma, going to see a neurosurgeon in late March 2024. In reading all the posts which go back to 2014, it seems that coconut oil rubbed on the scalp and boswellia are very common natural remedies, so I will start with those, plus change my diet - no alcohol and sugars as a start.

Is there any other advice that would be useful for me?

I look forward to hearing from someone who has been through this as well. It's very daunting for me at the moment.

Hi,

Hope you have some great progress with your treatment plan. I was curious to reach out given the year you last posted and hoping to hear that you had success with using bosewellia. My mom has just started it last week as she has had a meningioma for 2 and a half yrs now. She had a surgery to install a shant to drain fluid build up from the tumor and cannot have a surgery to remove any of the tumor because it's in a very sensitive spot. This said I finally was able to find a naturopathic clinic who suggested she goes on bosewellia and mystle toe extract along with ivy vitamin c. She started with bosewellia for now and soon the other two... her tumor is around 3.2 x 2.8cm. And pressing on the right side of her brain therefore affecting her left side of the body and is having problems walking and balancing. Other than that, she is in good health. So as I hope this bosewellia regimen works I wanted to find out from others if it actually worked... I would really appreciate it. Thank you and hope you are in great health!

Hi, do you mind me asking how's your mum doing? My mum has the left part of the meninge full of meningiomas and the doctor don't know what to do anymore. She did everything: surgery, radiotherapy, gamma knife, tablets of chemotherapy (doubled the doses at the moment). I'm trying to find natural treatments as she is having speech and memory issues and she is also always so tired. Hope your mum is well

I had surgery to remove my benign meningioma in December 2020. The tumor is on my brain stem and wrapped around my spine. They were only able to remove about 80% of the tumor. I also had one gamma knife radiation treatment. As of August 2022 the tumor seemed to be staying the same size but I would love to know what supplements and diet would help to shrink what is left! I read about Boswellia and rubbing coconut oil on my scalp but would like to know what the complete regimen and diet should be. Thank you.
